Olayetan: I have hands-on experience in the job, and i know the 30k weekly isn't issue for me and since its HP, it will only speed up my payment plan.
I'm only concern about the total package, does it worth going for? Talking about experience, how long have you been on the job. Trust me, you will likely burn out before you complete the payment. Check out for evil clauses in the contract that may make you end up driving and maintaining the car for the owner for free after many months (over a year probably) 3m is normal for a toks camry on HP depending on the year and condition but paying up is the problem. I will advise you find a cheaper car |

Tgiirl: Owner - driver battle is a funny battle.
If owners and drivers do nothing find a way to face where the real problem is coming from. Then both sides will lose. However, 20k weekly on 2Million investment is 1% weekly ie 12% per annum.
Sell off your car or convert ur rental to HP.
. It's actually 52% per annum, still bad investment though |

Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by deedee44: 6:39am On Aug 03, 2020 |
nwizu042: Story!! So how come my rating changed twice in two days? Are you saying I completed *40* trips after the first change? Abegggggg..... The rating system uses a FIFO (First In First Out) method, it means when you start driving newly, your rating will remain at 5.00 (default rating) until you're rated 40 times, from then the next rating will push out the first rating and your overall rating will be recalculated. |

Got a request to yaba from ikeja. On our way, rider asked if I'm taking 3rm mainland. Me: I don't know where 3rm mainland is. I don't know anywhere. This's my 1st week. Rider: I'll direct you.

You really need to quit the entitlement mentality, everybody will always want to be at an advantage, it's the game and if you can't get the longer end of the stick, just drop it. What are you saying? that he accepts transfers means what? How many drivers have a choice in dt situation.
Oh.... So cos a fuel station accepts POS. If the transaction doesn't clear with them, they will go ahead n still dispense fuel Ba.
The service has been rendered and payment shd b immediate. That's why a card option is available.
I use an android n I have a cable n a car charger for that.
If u r a rider n use android, good. If you use iPhone. Well sorry, I can't help.
My JD is to pick u up safely from point A to point B. Why will I buy charger for rider, on the peanut they're paying.. am I mad? Before when the fare was manageable I used to have expensive chewing gums not until one olosho just pack more than half into her bag, I noticed after she left since then it's N10 chewing gum. Then when price was slashed I removed my N10 gum too, riders will be paying peanuts and be expecting premium service lol. One female rider once asked me... Why don't you have iPhone charger.. I don't use iPhone.. case closed |

pappy4real: Good morning guys, I'm relatively new to d ride sharing world and I must say I've learned vital lessons just from reading a few pages here. I am employed but I'm a low income earner (less than 100k/month)but my responsibilities far outweigh my current income and my job leaves me with about 4 days a week which I can use for more gainful ventures. I work in ikorodu and live around Oshodi/sango Ota. I need your help on how much the weekly rental on an average vehicle is at the moment or weekly pay for HP as I'm considering either options. Also if you have a vehicle I'd be grateful to hear from you too. I've recently gotten my driver's license. Thanks Since you will not be driving full time, don't think of rentals. You will just be working for Uber/bolt and the car owner. If you have your own car only then will it be a good side hustle for you |

peeps4u: LOL, these people no pity drivers at all.
Which riders will still opt for 'premium' when he can gonfor economy.
And the premium fares have been shitty, imagine what economy will be like. Drivers will rush back to Uber, small time Uber too will introduce their own craze and drivers will rush to the initially abandoned bolt. Sometimes I feel like Uber and bolt have meetings on how to keep using drivers to play ping pong |

Mjosh1000: Now taxify (bolt) is going crazy. We are complaining about low fare they want to make it lower God will punish that idiot that always writes " Lower prices can attract more riders which will translate into higher driver earnings" as if the nincompoop doesn't know drivers will have to increase their work rates and spend more on maintenance in order to keep making what they were making before. If higher driver earnings is their concern why can't they simply reduce their commission rate |

Crvrider: Okay. You're really doing okay. I target 2.5k - 4.5k per day minus fuel using InDriver alone and it is practically impossible to achieve considering the time I close (7pm) from work when on morning shift. I really need to get uber activated. What's holding me is that there's a scratch on the driver side of my car and I need a spare tyre.
...if only InDriver has set destination feature. The other day, I blew empty from vi to ajao. Plus you have a lot of people playing with the app. What indriver has is better than set destination, it just requires patience and luck. |
Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by deedee44: 8:49pm On Jul 21, 2020 |
Felicity0001: True because with bolt your set destination expires the moment the trip ends but with Uber it continues till your must have arrived at your destination.
Talking about set destination.
I'm presently in VI with a rider with 3.0rating, I brought him here from Allen, Ikeja and he wants me to wait for about 2hrs and take him back because I made the ETA 15min earlier of whi I he was already late for a meeting.
Now, would I just wait for this man for 2hrs doing nothing? I suggested I hang around but he said he would pay me 1k per hr for waiting. So right now I'm kinda confused because 1. I've not collected miney for the trip yet 2. I've not made any reasonable amount of money since 7am that I left the house, just 3k since morning. 3. There's surge presently.
So I'm thinking if I set destination around this LGA if it will make sense I work b4 he's done.
Suggest guys.
Thanks
c.f.: izzuo, deedee, Vision2045, pope191, plus all my ogas I saw this post late, I would wait if I were you. Lagos traffic is not predictable, you could be hoping to do a quickie and traffic turns it to a longy for you. Also, your rider may finish earlier than scheduled, he would be disappointed if you delay him knowing he has offered to pay a token for your time |
