basilico: Ironic how you believe it was staged based on liberal logic . When presented with who was prime beneficiary, you make up excuses. Joe Biden didn't say he'd know over the weekend whether to step down depending on what happened tjen. Biden didn't say he'd put a cross hair over Trump. Jill Biden suddenly didn't get a function in PA ,hogging all available SS agents in PA leaving Trump with local police and hos assigned SS. The prime beneficiary was obviously Trump and that famous photo with the flag and his fist upwards and the three SS agents around him deserves an Oscar Award. I don't claim to know the ultimate truth about that incident but there are many glaring flags about it that are terribly suspicious. The far future will hopefully unveil the truth. |

Nairaland General › Re: Four Laptops For Mayorall Corporate Social Responsibility Gift To Nairalanders by DeepSight(m): 8:13pm On May 15 |
musicwriter: In 1947, the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) was created.
The REAL reason it was created was because with the rise of nationalists like Kwame Nkrumah, Nnamdi Azikiwe, etc. around Africa and the rest of the world, the hand writing was on the wall for Western imperialists that their days were numbered in their colonies (however, the standard information out there is that it was created to checkmate communism). Yes, but that was for Russia and China.
But in Africa they had other goals. Their goal in Africa was to create post-colonial elites that would be used to maintain colonialism so that white people would continue to rule us by proxy using fellow Africans.
In 1950, the CIA sent an agent named Ulli Beier to Nigeria to begin the process of creating the new elites.
Beier arrived in Nigeria under the guise of being a cultural refugee running away from Europe, claiming to have found love in African culture and spirituality. Nigerians believed him and accepted him with open arms, but South West Nigeria was the epicenter of his activities.
Once he was accepted into African society, he started by subverting African languages. He did that by convincing the young post-colonial writers of that time, like Chinua Achebe, Wole Soyinka, Christopher Okigbo, and Ezekiel Mphahlele, to choose to write in European language instead of in African language.
Their target was that if literature could be done in European languages in Africa, then European languages will automatically also be the language of education in schools around Africa. This will enable them grade, vet and groom the post colonial leaders.
How Ulli Beier came to Nigeria and what he did here is exactly how the beautiful female secret service agent sent to spy on Iran by Mossad destabilized the security of top Iranian government officials. It's exactly the same script! The only difference is that Beier's attack was on African culture.
Beier penetrated the Yoruba elite class, even Obas, took a chieftaincy title, founded two magazines, changed literature from the Yoruba language to the English language, masked his name, and published psychological attacks on African culture using Yoruba names.
That's what is called an attack on culture. And it was done by a white man.
This information has been kept secret such that Africans have little or no knowledge about it but the outcome is the reason we're still entangled with the West after many years of the so called independence.
I was telling this story in a book when my laptop crashed so I stopped. The CIA at work?
If I get your laptop, I'll use it to finish the book. I'll give it out for free as I always do all my books. This is not a condition for finishing the book cause I'll do that anyway but it may have to wait a little. Weak conspiracy theory. |

benalvino3: Everything is subsidized and cannot survive without the government. Why do you think they can sell a car for $8000? I didn't say things are not subsidized but it's wrong to see it that way. I insist you don't understand the system. You think of it as something that should be capitalist but is not strong enough so is being subsidized. No. Rather as I said, it is a system of strong government control and government investment as well as industry, labor and as I said, capitalism on a very short leash. So even the major capitalists are tied to the control of the government. Ask Jack Ma. You simply don't get it. China is robust and vigorous. You are the one talking gibberish. |

It's why BYD is in huge debt. This is something budaatum cannot understand despite mean dragging his ears for days.
You guys are clueless You simply dont understand the Chinese system if you are describing it this way as a subsidized system. You think it should run anywhere like a pure Western capitalist society. It is not. It is a very carefully curated and unique system which combines state control with industry, labor and capitalism on a short leash. |

The Palestinians are on their own. Khaled Meshal never lived in Gaza,he and top Hamas political leaders lived as billionaires in Qatar. IjeBos: This thread is beyond ridiculous. It like a book club where people who read the book are arguing details of the book with people who didn't even open it but think they know what it's about based on the cover. And these people (Bemeruca and Benalvino) will post 1 million times repeating the same debunked things instead of spending time reading the book. And then once in a while one of them(Bemeruca) will talk about another book (the UK), to make you think he reads. And they must stay in the book club, even though they don't read, because they want people to think they are people who read. GBAM! You know the thing. One can quite quickly tell if a person doesn't read. |

benalvino3: The one ignorant here is you.
You keep confusing visible infrastructure with economic health.
Nobody denied that China has high-speed rail, skyscrapers, ports, factories, EVs, solar panels, airports and impressive cities. That is not the argument.
The argument is whether those visible achievements prove Temu economy has no serious structural problems, or that China will automatically overtake America in every respect. They do not.
Many countries can show you clean city centres, beautiful trains, military parades, airports, bridges and streetlights. That does not mean their economy is healthy underneath.
A tourist sees the showcase. An economist looks at debt, demographics, consumption, employment, productivity, property markets, capital flows and institutions.
So you are the one ignorant here by saying go to China and look at lights and billboards with different colors at night.
Their economy is in turmoil. Maybe you should subscribe to China insider to educate yourself and bypass their Temu propaganda. Is it the USA economy that can withstand scrutiny? Look at their debt alone. If the dollar was not the global currency they would be toast. |

They were getting armed by Iran mostly. The blockade is to prevent arms smuggling shipments by sea. They havea 20 nautical mile range for fishing shrimp ,prawns etc . On Oct 7 Hamas Seal Team Six infiltrated Israel via the sea.
I'm shocked you didn't know all that . I know the thinking of Israel. So long as that thinking continues, the vicious cycle will continue. I hope you avert your mind to the fact that some people in Israeli politics actually profit from the continuation of this cycle. You simply cannot imprison and enslave people like that and expect that there will be no resistance. And the nature of humanity is such that the impulse for liberty will continue to grind against the jackboot of suppression. It will not stop. |

benalvino3: This argument is like Tucker Carlson going to Russia and spreading propaganda.
Where is your argument exactly?
Travel to China is not an argument. I can accept China has beautiful cities, high-speed rail, advanced factories and impressive infrastructure without accepting the propaganda that China will overtake America in every respect.
Tourism shows you the showcase. Economics shows you the structure.
China has wonders, but it also has property collapse, weak consumption, youth unemployment, demographics, debt and political rigidity.
So what exactly does travel prove?
That Shanghai has skyscrapers? I never denied that. Your comments betrayed you have deep seated ignorance about China or deep seated bias or both. Imagine mentioning Temu to judge China. And what turmoil? Trump worship is at the bottom of this. Give it ten years. China will surely outstrip the USA economically. Max 20 years. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: American Politics Thread: Trump Is The 47th President! by DeepSight(m): 6:12pm On May 15 |
benalvino3: You are shifting the argument. This is your useless pattern almost always.
Nobody says Africa should have become Rome or Britain in 60 years.
The point is simple: after independence, many African countries already had basic functioning systems: roads, railways, public schools, hospitals, water boards, civil service structures, etc.
A serious country should improve those systems over time, not let them collapse.
So comparing Africa to post-Roman Britain is not the same thing.
Britain after Rome was dealing with a collapse of empire, invasions, fragmentation, and a completely different historical period.
Modern African states inherited 20th-century institutions, access to global technology, international trade, development aid, universities, engineers, and examples from other countries. First bank was created by our colonialisers.
I showed budaatum a civilization in 2026 that have not figured out the canoe. No colonialization on them, no development. They haven't even gotten to the stone age.
The issue is not that colonialism had no effect. Of course it did. Positive and negative effect. The issue is that after 60+ years, blaming colonialism for every failure becomes an excuse for bad leadership, corruption, poor planning, tribal politics, lack of accountability, and zero maintenance culture.
Again, f we had clean running water in some places decades ago and now people need boreholes, that is regression. If roads are rebuilt from scratch every few years because nobody maintains them, that is not Rome’s fault. That is governance failure.
History explains some starting conditions. It does not excuse permanent incompetence. Alright, this is not a bad write up to be fair, but let me seize on just one thing. Institutions cannot be inherited. They need to be built. I'll be back. Britain after Rome was dealing with a collapse of empire, invasions, fragmentation, and a completely different historical period. There we go. Always quick to see the point for whites. But you can say this and imagine that Africa had/ has no similar extenuating circumstances? |

Foreign Affairs › Re: American Politics Thread: Trump Is The 47th President! by DeepSight(m): 5:29pm On May 15 |
benalvino3: You cannot lecture me ones you bring history. We've had our independence since the 1960s and back then we used to have clean running water without installing boreholes.
Maybe not widely scaled across the board, but a functional country could have improved on that but instead the opposite is true.
We are stuck on building one road over and over again. They build it from scratch almost everytime instead of minor maintenance here and there.
Africans don't have the culture of maintenance. In our tribal language, there is no word for maintenance.
Go ahead and blame the white man. Its even beyond the bold. Listen: How long after Roman colonization do you think it took Britain (and Germania which wasnt colonized as completely or in the same way) to come anywhere close to the splendor and efficiency of Rome? That's right, over a thousand years. Now before you jump to say I am saying it will take us a thousand years, no. I am not saying that. I am just dropping a nugget for thought. I will address this in detail. |

China is powerful because of scale and manufacturing.
China is brittle because its growth model depends heavily on exports, state support, debt, overcapacity, and a collapsing property sector.
That is not a contradiction. That is nuanc.
