NGpatriot:I hope this so call A-29 super tucano is not just one nicely package garbage been promoted by hi tech propaganda n bought by fools, the way the aircraft looks like ww2 aircrafts creates serious doubts in my mind, what is the proven combat record of this aircraft n which other countries have used them successfully?. |
Racoon:Audu ogbeh an idoma From otukpa in ogbadibo LGA of Benue state if he thinks the core north care about him n his people, making him the ACF chair is just political scheming to conquer his people n the stubborn Benue as a whole, the killings going on in the north are certainly not unplanned, only political n historical novices can deny it,soon ogbeh will discover that he is only on a fools journey. |
EBMedia:The issue of herdsmen problem is really an easy one to solve but for the insincerity n the hidden agenda of the Muslim conservative north,if not Ranching or grazing reserve is the best solution to the problem, the cattle owners can either buy land n established their private ranches or the state government can build the ranches for individual catle owners to get registered n use for an annual fee, this will make provision of security n other amenities easier for the herdsmen, this will also bring business boom to the animal sector, nobody is against the fulanis living anywhere in the country n doing their business in peace, the real issue is that the fulanis/hausas are after dominance n therefore they are always against any form of registration n control as they know clearly that they are no historicallyt indigenous people in most of the places they rear their cattles today in as much as they are truly citizens of the country no doubt,if the federal government is sincere, let funds be granted to all the states of the north minus kogi n Benue to establish grazing reserves in each senatorial zones n the fulanis to get registered n move to those reserves for a start,in those states that fulanis are indigenous n own land they can keep small herd of not more than 50 cattle they can rear successfully withing their land only, I'm sure by the time the benefits of those reserves start manifesting other states will on their own buy into it,but forcefully insisting that the whole country must be use grazing areas is not feasible n in fact courting trouble, the state governments have built uncountable markets that rent out shops to businessmen for years without problems, this can simply be replicated for grazing reserves if there is sincerity, most states especially Benue kogi n the southern states are scared of establishing state grazing reserves not for lack of land or even funds but for the fear of the potential claim of land ownership by the fulanis in future. |
Jadsy01:I hate people that pretend n are not straight forward,El rufai just confirmed that by rotational agreement power was ceeded to the SW,the SS has also gotten their turn so if elrufai want to be truly sincere then he should boldly call for power shift to the SE in 2023 simple. |
saaphiere:please is this teaching biblical?, because this is not motivational talk it's a religious talk coming from a clergy so it must be back up with religious authority, it's wrong to use one's position as a clergy to impose personal views on people, I'm not against women working but religion should be separated from personal social views,so where is the biblical authority on this teaching?. |
BewareOf419:soldiers that will go n remain in primary school or whatever is their location n refuse to move an inch to go after the real bandits if they are not directly attacked!, anybody putting his hope completely on the army is on a long thing especially in this case of an operation in northern Nigeria against fulani herdsmen. |
boman2014:It's good buhari is doing all these things, when next anyone comes to claim that he can do better,we will all ask him for proof of his capacity and competence n not just accept beautifully package garbage out of sentiments. |
etokhana:Let him remain in Barcelona and be forming useless goat, when one talks his supporters will say he doesn't need to change team to prove anything, but look at hazary at Madrid, looy at ronaldinho n rivaldo both after leaving Barcelona,Christiano has proven himself in all environment even the hate against him coupy with his advance age. |
[quote author=Hashimyussufamao post=92768013]Death Sentence For Blasphemy At Kano: A Perspective by O. G. Chukkol I have been following arguments on social media for the past two days about the death sentence passed on one Yahaya Aminu Sheriff for blasphemy (insulting prophet Mohammed PBH) at Kano. Let me make few observations here: 1. There is actually a Shariah Penal Code law in Kano state 2. The said Shariah Penal Code makes provision for offences and punishments recognized in Islam 3. The Shariah Penal Code Law prohibits blasphemy and a violator risks death sentence. See section section 382 thereof. 4. The Shariah Penal Code Law of Kano applies to Muslims only 5. The Shariah Penal Code Law of Kano does not apply to non Muslims. So a Christian or any other non Muslim cannot be prosecuted under the law except if he consents to it 6. Sheriff was tried and convicted under the Shariah Penal Code Law because he was a Muslim. 7. Sheriff has the right to appeal to a higher court for his conviction to be reviewed or set aside if the trial court was wrong. 8. Governor of Kano State has the final say on Sheriff's conviction. He can pardon Sheriff and allow him go free or change the punishment or sign death warrant for Sheriff to be executed/killed as ordered by court 9. A non Muslim who insults prophet Mohammed or commits any other form of blasphemy can at best be tried under the general Penal Code law for defamation or breach of public peace or any other related offence depending on exactly what the person says In view of the foregoing, I will completely refrain from commenting on the appropriateness of death sentence for blasphemy because it is an Islamic injunction entrenched in a written law. Besides, I may not even be objective about it because I am not a Muslim, but a Christian. I will only end up pouring my sentiment in the guise of criticism. To me, is not even logical to use my religion to condemn another religion. I submit further, for the purpose of emphasis, that the offence of blasphemy applies to Muslims only and they are in support of it. They are comfortable with it because their religion provides for it. I cannot take panadol for somebody's headache Had it been the offence applies to non Muslims also, I would have immediately condemned it for being unconstitutional. It should be noted that the Shariah Penal Code was enacted pursuant to section 38 of the constitution which provides for right to freedom of religion and sections 4 and 6 of the constitution which gives states power to make laws and also establish courts for themselves and also section 36(12) which provides that person can be convicted for an offence only if the said offence is defined in a written law with sanctions attached. That is to say, the Supreme Law of the land has given them backing. They can practice their religion provided that a non Muslim shall not be affected Let me drop my pen here. Everything I put down here is strictly my opinion and I may be wrong. Greetings Ladies and gentlemen Chukkol https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1905827216221167&id=100003817221624[/quoo One thing I found strange about this blasphemy issue is the absence of the actual words that constituted the said blasphemy,n this is common in the north,a general n opaque accusation will be made n use as the basis of premeditated violence, even shekau in most of his videos will make non specific statements like" since some people say we can not practice our religion in peace", the fulanis herdsmen will claim" some people killed our cows two years ago" etc, these opaque statements will then be use as reasons for violence with no consequences at all for the perpetrators, but justice demands fairness,I don't know about the quranic legal standards but it's only logical that the exact words constituting the blasphemy should be revealed for public scrutiny in relation to the provisions of the shari'a law except if the whole thing is of ocultic nature n has be to be secret. |
tesppidd:yes that was great of Messi but certainly you know what performance at advance age means, you guys keep bringing up outrageous argument to downgrade ronaldo.its clear you just hate to admit the truth,. |
paulolee:what really made quagiallera more deserving of the award than Ronaldo?,if you agree that Christiano Ronaldo out scored dyabala in almost all the statistics then it means you are plain hypocrite for accepting that dyabala deserve the award ahead be of Ronaldo,as for the analogy of a student not been the best in his class but been the best in the school, that really doesn't match because the two awards are voted for by different group of people. |
Beverlyjean:yes, that's the great angle of Christiano Ronaldo his haters are not looking at, it's so amazing. |
paulolee:No the fact is Christiano Ronaldo was cheated out of hate,he out score dyabala in almost all the statistics how come he was not voted the best?,most of you that hate Ronaldo,do you guys ever take a moment to ask yourselves whether is it not astonishing that Ronaldo keep performing so wonderfully even be at his age?,we wait to see which of the current players will achieve half of what Ronaldo in doing now when they get to his present age including messi. |
Showbby28:you were dupped in Pdp,so what happened to you in APGA that you are now running the promise Land of Apc? |
Amotolongbo:As old as ten years!i.e before boko Haram then?,yet the security problem keep multiplying n escalating.such shamelessness!. |
AgencyReport:This then clearly shows that the federal government led by Buhari is behind all the happenings in Edo state,I wonder why buhari could resolve the Edo state assembly debacle while obaseki was still in APC,all these just goes to show the true character of buhari n seriously calls to question whether buhari is really physically capable n truly in charge of the government. |
atemi01:I'm not too sure but I understand the governor issued the proclamation for the inauguration of the assembly but the Apc refused the proclamation n boycotted the inauguration hence they were excluded n the governor subsequently refused to re issue another proclamation,is this correct? |
AgencyReport:For God's sake is there no law in this country?,why didn't the 14 Apc assembly members went to court to challenge their exclusion from being sworn in at the very beginning, were where they when the assembly was been inaugurated that they have to result to this now with elections at hand,is this even legal?,is this not invitation to violence, who is the police taking orders from to support this, Buhari/Apc always admonish people to go to court but just look at this behavior, where sagay with that his jaggered mouth. |
oshozondii:Buhari as the president of this country is the major problem to Nigeria,if not some of the security challenges befallen the country could be tackled e.g Ranching is the best measure of ending the continuous farmers/herdsmen clashes, the government can build the ranches while the fulanis n anyone interested in animal rearing can get registered n use the ranches for rent, while the fulanis or anyone can also keep small herd they can rear safely within the confines of their own lands without encroaching on to other lands simple, nobody is saying the fulanis or anyone should not live in other parts of the country, but for reasons best known to buhari he prefers that the whole country should just remain as an unregulated general abode of all fulanis from wherever they may come from, the ISIS N AL QUAEDA are certainly taking advantage of fulanisation posture of buhari's presidency. |
oyatz:did you listened to the broadcast of Radio kudirat at all?,are you were that the guys that hijacked a plane in 1993 n were deceived into landing it at ndjamena Chad were part of the struggle to actualize june12?,if the activities of NADECO N RADIO KUDIRAT were not a threat why were NADECO Leaders arrested and detained while many ran into exile n why was Radio kudirat operating secretly?, although the past is gone but it's important for justice to be done. |
oyatz:I know where you are coming from but I'm not concerned. |
oyatz:You n me knows too well that if not for favour obssanjo wouldn't have contested n won the 1999 elections, let the same favour be done to the igbos if that's what it takes. |
weIMPORT:Those complaining that the man didn't proposed correctly because he didn't kneel to do it are to me a bunch fools,I for one is never in support of the stupid charade of a man kneeling to propose to any lady, the lady in question was clearly very excited n never complained so it means it's never important after all. |
Franklinn1:I'm not interested in what you wrote,my primary concern is the true healing of the country n achieving real peace unity n progress for all citizens |
JAMO84:Is there no competent igboman in APC to become athe president of Nigeria? |
Parada:The truth is the igbos made a couple of terrible mistakes in 1966 through nzeogwu n Ironsi but so has other parts of the country also made mistakes up till now,the circle should not continue, let's find a middle ground to put the past behind n solidify our country for peace progress n unity, it's only fare for the presidency to go to the igbos in 2023. |
JAMO84:I'm not igbo but let's be realistic,I remember vividly after 1992 the yorubas formed NADECO RADIO KUDIRAT n tormented Nigeria yet in 1999 they were compensated, let the igbos too hold the presidency for once, igbos stand to loss more if they should start any problem in the country n I'm very certain they will never do such. |
Patrioticman007:I must admit that I'm familiar with the historical events you highlighted above n they are true, other parts of the country also had their faults too, I'm not igbo matter of fact, I'm from NC Nigeria so my view is not pro igbo but pro national,it was the late lucky Dube that said "don't look to past,it will make you pasteristic, look to the future it will make you futuristic"the past is gone but tommorow is still ahead, yes we need the past to guide us today towards tommorow, for equity n national inclusiveness , peace and progress, the SE should be given the presidency in 2023, after 1992 the SW formed Radio kudirat n NADECO with their attendant problematic activities yet they were considered in 1999 so why not the SE after all these years?. |
Pharmmaqp:Oga pharmacist just talk say una market don pay,now you de speak grammar,as a pharmacist y u no discover say the drug dealer help for Corona?,now you come de form encyclopedia of drugs. |
Pharmmaqp:So you want to tell me the price of the drug skyrocketed in the US immediately the doctor made her statements n the drug was then shipped to Nigeria for sale?,I believe you are among those ripping Nigerians off because you are in a good position n have seen the opportunity you long craved for but don't think we are all fools please, the drug was not invented produced or imported now,it has always been in the market n likely what they are selling now at that devilish price is old stock, I'm not surprised though after all this is Nigeria but it's just because our government is stupid. |
winkmart:What I saw very beautiful girls do just two days ago make me so scared n suspicious of every beautiful girl,God have mercy n protect the men Amen. |
