Because of hate for Trump most individuals and news media are over looking all the complaints o fraud byf trump n putting pressure on him to accept the results,but if the US truly uphold justice equity n freedom as her core values then trump should be allowed to prove his claim in court,after all trump is not asking for anything illegal,in fact Joe Biden n the Democrats should be willing to prove their innocence in other to avoid a scandal in future,the law n court exist for a reason,the idea that one must just accept the results like that is creating an undue reward for smart crooks,trump loves his country n he will certainly leave office but he should be satisfied that he was not cheated out of office n that is completely fair enough.

Biden has also received the most votes of any president in American history. Whomever reaches the 270 electoral votes will be officially declared winner. In this system, Trump still has a chance of winning.

The United States Electoral College is a name used to describe the official 538 Presidential electors who come together every four years during the presidential election to give their official votes for President and Vice President of the United States.The Constitution leaves states to decide how electors will vote. It began In 1804, 12th Amendment to the Constitution made sure that electors designate their votes for president and vice president, but the 12th Amendment leaves in place a tie breaking system established by the Constitution by which the House of Representatives breaks a tie on presidential electoral votes and the Senate.

The election of the president of the United States is a two-step process. First, voters cast ballots on Election Day in each state. In nearly every state, the candidate who gets the most votes wins the "electoral votes" for that state, and gets that number of voters (or "electors" in the "Electoral College." In the Electoral College system, each state gets a certain number of electors based on its total number of representatives in Congress. Each elector casts one electoral vote following the general election; there are a total of 538 electoral votes. The candidate that gets more than half (270) wins the election.

Addendum: Electoral College is a system born of compromise deeply rooted in America's slavery foundation. I will explain this in my subsequent post.

well tanx,but there are still unanswered questions like,how is an individual choosing to be a state electoral college delegate?,can an electoral college delegate for whomever he/she wish or is it a must that they vote for the candidate that won the popular vote in a particular state?,by the way I thought US elections are done by electronic voting how come there are stories of endless ballots counting?, please enlighten me the more.

CSP Rabiu Garba is in charge of Fegge Police Station Onitsha. It was reported that almost all his men jumped the high walls of the police station and disappeared in the thin air, but CSP Garba stood his ground and talked the hoodlums out of their planned action and they started hailing the DPO.

The incident has attracted a lot of commendations for CSP Garba who was known for his kind gesture and humane nature in policing Fegge and it's environs. This is a win-win for all.

we Nigerians like over doing things,no matter how bad the police may be they still remains the first line of defense for public security, whether we like it or not there must be a public police so it's best the end SARS protest geared towards reforming the police for better service rather than destroying them,the police don't make laws,the laws are actually made by civilians (NASS) for the police to enforce,most of those accusing the police are not even innocence of the law truly speaking,so except we are saying the country should become lawless we shouldn't just throw away the baby with the bath water.

SARS may have their bad side but they are certainly important n we shouldn't just throw away the baby with the bath water, simple truth is that,if the senior officers were not benefitting from the activities of SARS they wouldn't become so notorious so the IGP should actually descend heavily on the supervising officers, SARS should be reformed to SPOATT i SPECIAL OPERATIONS AND TACTICAL TEAM fsshio Ed after the US SWAT with each state having a team, there should be a definite uniform for them,their functions and mode of operations should be clearly outlined in their rules of engagement, special operations risk allowance should be created for them,the police need a punching arm,a kicking leg n a bitting teeth that is what SARS,PMF N CTU represents,they are surely very essential n should be reformed rather than scrapped outrightly.

The simple truth in all this is that,if the senior officers are not involved or benefiting from the the activities of the junior ranks,these activities would have been stopped long ago,so if the IGP is truly serious he should be holding the supervising officers in charge of those units responsible for their misdeeds with attendant disciplinary measures against such officers for dereliction of duty and lack of supervision.

Minister of Youths and Sport Development Sunday Dare has joined voices condemning the recurring brutality of the Nigeria Police Force’s Special Anti-Robbery Squad after video of the shooting of a young man in front of a hotel in Ughelli, Delta State went viral on Saturday, Igbere TV reports.

The video showed how there was confusion around Wetland Hotel in Ughelli where the policemen allegedly killed the victim and escaped with his vehicle – a white Lexus Sport Utility Vehicle.

Global rights group Amnesty International, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and former Senate President Bukola Saraki have also condemned the act and called for the reform of SARS.

Mr Dare said the Federal Government would look into the reports of harassment of Nigerians by SARS.

Igbere TV reports that in a statement issued on Saturday by his special assistant John Joshua-Akanji, Dare said he had been monitoring reports of the attacks by SARS, adding that relevant government agencies will investigate the incidents.

“The minister of youth and sports development, who has also been monitoring the reports of alleged SARS harassment and attacks, has called for immediate investigations that will unravel the truth,” he said.
