You, in your response assume that the only good response is a wish filled with sloppy kissy feel-good wishes for Nigeria. Are you sure that the millions of Nigerians who have prayed and continued to pray for Nigeria in that way have not done enough of that? Maybe what Nigeria now needs is to be hit with reality in a hard way. Maybe what the country needs at this point is a big jolt of reality to get things right. Wishing for God to do this and that has not done us much in the past.

The topic said, "YOUR WISH FOR NIGERIA" and while anybody has a right to wish Nigeria evil, it's still unethical because I can't imagine many us coming here everyday to lament on the deplorable state of Nigeria and has nothing to offer even when our offering will come to us for Free. If God appears to you and gave you such an opportunity and you believing He can make it happen still passed on it like some response above, that automatically means that you do not have love and respect for not only the country Nigeria but for the people living in it.

Generally, suicide is not a black thing. It's not only Nigerians but black africans, African Americans, carribeans for some reason do not like suicide. If the virginia tech massacre point man was black, I bet you he'll still be here today facing multiple murder charges than take an easy way out. I remember a Nigerian law student that did the same(he shot 3 only) here in the US some 5 years ago in one of the east coast states, he stayed alive and never popped his brain. For where? Thats why oyibo no fit understand black man mentality well.

So, suicide is more of a Caucasian and Asian culture.

It's appalling that we Nigerians complain everyday about the sorry state of the nation but assuming we have a chance to make a change, we'll ignore it. Seriously? The purpose of this thread was to go into our hearts to see what we have in stock for our great nation.

The US economy is bad now, the avg citizen complains a lot about the current govt but amidst that, he/she still prays fervently that God will bless and help America go through difficulties even if it didn't happen in his/her lifetime but let it be assured that his/her kids will have a better life than him/her. A 55-year-old pastor with Ogo-Oluwakiitan Celestial Church of Christ (CCC), Igando, Noah Ajibigah, has been caught with a human skull by the police from the State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, Panti, Yaba, Lagos.

He was arrested in his church along with his wife, Bose, after his wife’s father reported to the police that he is a fake prophet. After the police swooped on him in his church, male and female effigies believed to have been used for the separation of certain couple, was also found there among other objects including the skull said to be that of a teenager.

When interrogated on how he came about the human skull in the church, Pastor Noah claimed that the skull was that of an animal.

The pastor’s wife’s father, also accused the pastor of being an evil pastor, and that the pastor tied the hands of his grandson Oluwatubosun Oluwadamilare, a 17-year-old JSS 2 student of Egan Grammar School, Igando, with ropes from the tube of a tyre for 3 days and refused to treat the boy because the boy was not his biological, and that the boy stole his half brother’s handset.

When the wife of the pastor, Bose Ajibigah, was asked how the human skull was found in the church, she said she did not know.

Consequently, the entire family has been arrested and detained at the SCID, Panti, Yaba.

Police sources said they would be charged to court soon.

Women nosing around a.k.a snoop doggy dogging is my pet peeve. Many of the ones I had discussed this issue with claim they want to "Know" but the ironic thing about we women is that even when we eventually "Know", we don't do anything other than make some noise, shed some tears , break our own hearts and life continues. So why do women bother to go through the stress, misery & headaches of snooping, stalking & nosing around?

The last killing of two governorship aspirants in Nigeria both of whom had spiritual bullet proof makes me wonder whether this bullet proof story is a farce.
If that thing works, why couldn't they use their own guns to kill their assailants? How is it possible that a bullet that travels at the avg speed of 100mph could not penetrate your skin but a knife that strikes with one tenth of that speed succeeds? Do you believe that it exists or is it not in the same line with the money making ritual myth?

Seriously, I know of this lady who sends money home to have her mother sacrifice goats for her. It is one of those difficult to let go traditional systems we have, especially in Yorubaland. But how far can these sacrifices and "charms" advance a life here in the United States? Wouldn't it be interesting to take a little "like" potion before going for the job interview so the moment they set eyes on you, they are hooked and give you the job even without an interview?

Didnt God ask us again not to judge. Whilst praying with his eyes open, he discovered love. May be God is telling him something. His parents came to lagos all the way from Enugu to stop that relationship but failed and they resorted to reporting him to his pastor. Guess what? Both left the church and decided to worship at RCCG. I wonder how people can fall in love like this. It's just a miracle to me.
