Indeed they have been useful to me. Their expectations of failure have instead pushed me into higher echelons of success. They have made me vow never to fail. They are instrumental to my success and growth. Everybody's useful, including our enemies. |
patrickdarlins: happy birthday to me..+fp tinx...back to d matter..@ op...its very wrong for d parents to do such...i will xplain later...for niw...its all about my birthday...give me some likes pipo.....smiles....I rejoice with you. Wishing you more peaceful and prosperous years ahead. |
toureman: They want Nigeria to b dirty abiNo. On the contrary, they want a cleaner and safer environment for all of us. We all know the monthly sanitation hasn't worked. shutting down economic activities for 3 hours for sanitaion exercise is old fashioned. Environmental sanitation is an everyday exercise. |
omokab: What is the proplem with monthly sanitation?is it not helping the state to look clean except some other state which they are born to be dirty. The federal govt have no saying in the monthly sanitation because they are not funding it.so if they are ready to introduce sanitory inspection is a welcome idea it wil also help to control all type of dirty in each state.Meanwhile, monthly sanitaion is basically on waste evacuation while sanitory inspection is basically to checkmate all type of health hazards that may generate from uncleaniness. This exercise is no longer working. Piling up filth till the 3rd / 4th Saturday of every month is a wrong approach to cleaning the environment. Instant evacuation is the way to.go. |
It's a welcome idea. I thought the Minister had either seen it on my Facebook wall or someone who saw it had told him. I made a serious case for the cancellation of the exercise two weekends ago, after I was told at AGOFURE Motors in Warri that I wouldn't be travelling till after 10 am because sanitation exercise was in place. It's archaic and dumb to have such a policy in place. It may have worked during the Buhari/Idiagbon era when it was conceived, but we have moved on, and so.should our policies. It's very old fashioned to bring a nation/state to a standstill for 3 hours once in a month for Environmental sanitation. Environmental sanitation is an everyday exercise. Apart from some khaki guys mounting roadblocks here and there isn't much happening on these days. It also encourages environmental abuse, as people indiscriminately litter their environment and then wait till a month's time when another . exercise takes place. Federal and state ministries of Environment should collabo and train and equip environmental health officers who should go about to monitor our environment, and ensure appropriate sanctions are levied against offenders. This exercise is long overdue for abolishment. |
stinggy: Yet another one. What a failed generation!I think it's us the youths who have failed ourselves more. We are busy dancing AZONTO and shouting Man U or Chelsea when these old thieves continue pillaging our commonwealth and future. If we don't unite and create a formidable voice against corruption, then we are doomed. It will only get worse. |
WinsomeX: Thank you.Grace or the entire Gospel can't be rendered thorough justice in an online forum as this. The entire Gospel is about a Person, Jesus Christ. I have recently disillusioned a little with with the issue especially with the attention granted it. The tithe was instituted in the LAW era. God had chosen the Levites for Himself, and asked the other eleven tribes to give a tenth of their profits to the Levites. My case is I found it somehow strange that Christ never actually directly or indirectly spoke about the topic. |
WinsomeX: OP,Trust me; I'm willing. Go on, please. |
Good afternoon all. Lately, I became a bit curious about the issue of tithe in the dispensation of GRACE. I understand grace doesn't give the license to continue practising sin. I know many Christians have some issues with tithe. I'm currently a tithe, but I find it rather strange that neither the Lord Jesus Christ nor Apostle Paul emphasised tither in the New Testament. Whence cometh the idea of tithe? I want to know. I have no plans to discontinue tithing, but in this age and time, wemust serve God with uunderstanding. Awaiting your lovely inputs. God bless us all. |
Lucasbalo: Speak for yourself buddy, I don't enjoy any corrupt things in Nigeria. Don't even live in Nigeria but come to visit or on business. I agree with you on. the other points though. The revolution has already started with me. I don't give or solicit bribes. I pay my bills. I don't run against traffic. I don't destroy our environment. I openly condemn nepotism and bigortry. I criticise and vilify corruption. The revolution, like an erupting volcano, has to start from.the within. It has started in me. |
Lucasbalo: Gbam. All this political parties are all the same. They are only good for one thing, looting the Commonwealth dry. Real revolution like Jerry Rawlings did in Ghana or the one by the fillipinos did against ferdinand marcos in 86. That's the only one that can solve nigeria's problem.I doubt if you or the vast majority of us are willing to pay the huge price the Filipino paid in order to bring down the evil regime of Fernando Marcos! Besides such a revolution can only succeed amongst a truly United and courageous citizenry, not amongst cowards and tribal bigots. We aren't mature enough for any kind of revolution. We all secretly enjoy the corrupt state of things in the nation. |
nora544: When you know it than you know that is man got all his money from his followers and he has a problem to enter Uk because it is about money he take from his followers in UK so I know why I speak against this God of man.Do you have concrete evidence? I doubt he got his money by defrauding his own people, who he was mandated to feed. I can't find anything wrong with the birthday celebrations. I do celebrate mine as well. If I had the money to buy a private jet, I would buy one. |
nora544: I know you are a brainwashed follower from this God of men.I'm surprised at your words. If in this era, I.allow myself to be brainwashed by anybody, then I'm finished. The Bible is my utmost guide, and whatever I hear from the pulpit must be thoroughly compared with the Bible. I used to demonise the prosperity Gospel mainly due to ignorance and lack of understanding of basic Bible truths. However, careful study.had showed be most of us mistakenly narrow prosperity to mean just money; money is simply a part of it. Prosperity mean all round success in spiritual life, moral life, business, education, family, work, etc. I also know some pastors have overemphasised prosperity, but that doesn't mean prosperity is evil. I look forward to having more discussions with you. Shalom. |
nora544: But this luxury of this God of man ist also not like a real christian should be.I actually can't find anything wrong with his lifestyle. I know too well he gives a lot also. However, God will certainly hold us accountable how we lived our lives. Happy Sunday. |
Happy birthday in arrears sir. I have been blessed by the teachings of this great son of God. I have his tapes, though I worship in a different church. Once again, happy birthday sir. There's NOTHING wrong with Christians having billions through their hard work and divine favour. I have experienced both poverty and wealth, and I can categorically say there's no dignity or humility in poverty and lack. We all can start giving. We don't need to have all the billions in the world.before we start giving. Pastor Oyedepo doesn't need any lectures or sermons on giving, for its givers that receive. Even the few pairs of shoes, or our second phones can be sold and the money handed to the poor. Sometimes, poverty is a choice. People deliberately practice certain habits that invite poverty. The poor will ALWAYS be in our midst; there's nothing anybody can do about it. Oyedepo is one of the most hardworking pastors I have seen. It's natural to enjoy the fruits of his labour. I'm also believing God, and also working really hard to attain such greatness. No one goes to Heaven/Hell because they are rich or poor. God bless you all. |
slimfit1: can you imagine four private jet would have helped lots of poor people and save lifes. You can attack me if you like but evangelism of convenient I sense here.Even the pair of shoe you own can be sold and have the money given to the poor. The poor will ALWAYS be in our midst. There's nothing anybody can do about it. |
nora544: A real christian pastor would tell his followers let us give the money to the poor, let us give the money to the people who need it. |
SMALLPENIS: Wow! Nigeria will reach that level one day !With these current bunch of rulers, that ONE DAY may be an eternal mirage. |
Such incidents barely happen in Third World nations, where there's disaffection and distrust between the misruled citizens and their corrupt leaders. These guys are really developed. Just look at their mature approach to things. The security operatives were more interested in knowing the motives behind the breaches rather than simply killing the intruders. Development starts in the mentality. I pity Third World nations. |
akoaki: Let us stop talking about corruption in nigeria. It is our culture and character. If nobody wants to do any practical thing about it, then stop flogging it. Am only sorry for the youths and children of this country. The most sensible comment made on this thread. Normally people are expected to find an effective way of registering their displeasure, with the willingness to protest if they get anything below a decent government. We actually do not hate corruption. It's our culture. We've practising before 1960. It's the expected standard behaviour. |
He that is jealous isn't in love- St Augustine. I don't get jealous over anything or anybody. In have never felt that emotion before. It's my personal experience. It's just part of me to.never get jealous. This may be weird to a lot of people. But it's the truth. |
manny4life: Good tips, but during a crash, everyone is in such a panic that they forget all these tips. My prayer is that for as long as I live or you live, you will NEVER witness plane crash. Amen..Amen. But if planes conveying dead bodies dey crash..... |
felzylix: You've done the right thing, buh when the consequences arise... OYO is ur case #rememberSlave mentality. |
ericessien24: I no see her face oh,and its not about getting married BUT STAYING marriedThat's their business, not yours. Just wish them the best, and quit the stupidity; it's not healthy for you. How can good things happen to you and.those who.liked your comment, when you.dont wish others good? |
Bluetooth2: People.are innocent until proven guilty by a court. |
Adufetohposh: Serves them right! Blood thirsty demons... I wonder what would av been d lady's fate if they had succeeded. You and those who liked this ridiculous statement of yours are not humans. Take your frustration to the corrupt people in power. Don't indulge in some evil appetite to revenge the decades of sufferings and deprivation . |
I'm not surprised at all at the barbarity displaced by most Nigerians. I'm yet to recover from the shock I suffered from the ALUU4 lynching and eventual murder. The negative impacts of decades of misrule and bad government are finally surfacing in us. Life seems the easiest thing to take in Nigeria. We shouldn't revenge the years of misrule on fellow citizens at the slightest of suspicion of their committing a crime. Our government officials have done worse and are doing worse, and we are yet to get in their faces. Jungle justice further confirms the Whites' belief we are yet to complete our evolution. Our attitudes and values have continued to sway me towards that conclusion- that we are yet to civilise. We have appropriate authorities in place. Let's desist from taking the law into our hands. Government should make a legislation prohibiting this nonsense. Stop JUNGLE JUSTICE. |
PassingShot: They're correct in this. The whole of Nigeria should be interested in uncovering the truth. There's no point disturbing yourself, as there won't be any thorough investigation. Nigerians are too weak and distracted to be focused on one thing at a time; other events will soon overtake this issue. We don't want to risk our lives in demanding an accountable government. We are in a deep mess. |
Tymax: Bro, it's a cross you must bear. Avoid violence as much as possible. It's not your fault. I know it is painful to be disrespected this much especially if it happens in public.Obviously, she wont outgrow it. |
Houseofglam7: Take a walk to clear your head and return when its dark. That appears a temporary solution to me. |
Houseofglam7: Look at her, shake your head and waltz away.I have done that on countless occasion. Obviously, its not working. |
Tymax: Hahahaha I haven't seen/heard that name in a loooooong time.Every sensitive and smart person sincerely acknowledges their wrongs and duly apologize. I have stressed on various occasions that I wont tolerate being directly insulted, but it has so far fallen on deaf ears. Its being on since late 2011....... |
