Military's Face of the Nation, You Must Not Devalue It - GOC 81 Division, Ajunwa

https://www.scrollreport.com/2022/11/militarys-face-of-the-nation-you-must-not-devalue-it-goc-81-division-ajunwa/

The General Officer Commanding 81 Division of the Nigerian Army, comprising Lagos and Ogun States, Major General Obinna Ajunwa, has warned against devaluing the military, saying that such action has a chain reaction, as it reverberates on the collective existence of the people, and affects what the country holds dear in terms of internal unity, national cohesion and international recognition.

Ajunwa made this remark while playing host to a cross section of the Executive members of the National Association of Online Security News Publishers (NAOSNP) in his office on Monday. The General noted that the army, and by extension the military, is the face of the nation, and by no means or circumstance should be rubbished, because an attack on the military through false reports is an attack on the very essence of the people and the nation itself.

"The Military is the face of the nation. If we rubbish it we are rublishing our face. The Army belongs to us as Nigerians. In the Nigeria society, and even elsewhere, the strength of the people is the military. And when the top is dropped, it will definitely affect the other component parts.

He maintained that the military will continue to strive to to keep the peace and security of the nation, while calling on the citizenry, especially the press to assist in the patriotic act through verified publications, and most importantly publications that has national security and interest as consideration

"False reports devalues the military, Nigeria and the people. Once you devalue the military, every other persons in the nation is devalued. Always endeavour to report correctly and avoid false information as it could destroy the nation and paint it in bad light, thereby giving a signal of negativity.

"We must understand that when a country's military is tainted with negativity, it spiraled on other aspects of that country's endeavours. That is why the military is the face of the nation, and must not be devalued," Ajunwa said.

Earlier, the leader of the NAOSNP delegation and President of the Association, Mr. Samson Oki, has briefed the GOC and his team of officers on the need for the division to synergise with the Association to curb the initiation and spread of fake news, which is detrimental to the psyche and peaceful co-existence of Nigerians.

"It is our intention to cooperate with the military, and the army in particular to further engender military/media relationship to continue to fight the war against fake news, which is capable of causing mayhem, for the good of the people.

"Our Association is known for discipline, professionalism and dedication to the Nigerian project, and in the best position to understand that national interest supersedes parochial or personal interest, and that is what we have sworn to uphold," Oki said.

In his vote of thanks, the Public Relations Officer of NAOSNP, Mr. Eric Elezuo, appreciated the Nigeria Army for the job well done, which have remained their hallmark in recent times, and the GOC 81 Division, Ajunwa, who has been exemplary since he assumed office in August 2022.

"While partnering with you in this task of nation building and defence, we must acknowledge your success stories in the field and with the civil populace. The army has distinguished itself, and remained above board. We also acknowledge the giant strides Major Ajunwa has taken since he assumed duties about three months ago. We are not oblivious of these milestones, and ask that they be sustained," Elezuo.

In attendance at the meeting were ranking military officers including the Commander 81 Military Intelligence Brigade, Brigadier General Kingsley Nwoko; Commander 81 Div Provost Group, Brigadier General ML Abubakar; Commander 55 Signal Brigade, Brigadier General EO Oshunsan; Chief of Staff HQ 81 Division, Brigadier General MB Wabili, Deputy Chief of Staff Operations, Colonel JK Maigari and Lt. Col. Olaniyi Bello Osoba.

Other members of the NAOSNP team in attendance were Miss Ebere Obinagwam, Mr. Kazeem Bakene, Mr. Friday Etim and Mr. Femi Arikawe.

To GOD alone be all the Glory

GODSPOWERPROJECT

1. Emmanade Foods- Fatokun Hannah Adetutu:
Feed the belly, and Feed the Souls

Fixit: What makes Emmanade stand out

Emmanade: The taste, I dont know if you understand that kind of homely taste, when you grab a bite and feel like 'I'm at home'. The good homely taste of it makes all the difference.
My vision is not just about food, it's a mandate mixed with career, to feed the belly, and feed the souls as well, an avenue to tell people about Christ, chip in one or two words of encouragement, like in the process of feeding the belly you feed the soul. People want to eat first before you can tell them anything.

2. CutCrux- Mohammed Aziz
It's not about the money

Fixit: Describe your Relationship with clients

CutCrux: I'd say it's good to be humble, and know how to take care of all your clients, they're all important. It's not about the money they give you, its small money that turns big money. You have to be loyal, respect them, whatever the money they give you

3. Chariots (Jude Odia)

You can use PoP for many designs

Fixit: Who are you and what are you doing?

Chariots: My name is Odia Jude, I'm into Plaster of Paris aka PoP, this is just one of our sites and projects. We have been working on this entire flat for a week now.
I started doing this professionally in 2018. Long time ago I used to accompany my brother to the site and I just loved the beauty of the job. What attracted me was the fact that you can use PoP to create different things of your choice. You can use it to do ark, pillars, even construct a human figure. You can use PoP for many designs and they are all attractive. Those things really attracted me to the profession.

CelebritiesFeeding The Belly You Feed The Soul- Busty Cook Confesses by DejiPlug(op):
To GOD be all glory

www.fixit.ng

Meet buxom ebony beauty, Hannah Fatokun Adetutu, who is a food vendor and CEO of Emmanade Foods N More,

Specialist in jollof rice, Fried rice,White rice, Ofada, Swallows, Ewa goin and Bread, Hannah was born into a family of 8; 3 boys and 3 girls, with parents from Imeko Afon.

Emmanade Foods N More began from the kitchen in the house with soup orders for people on request and running deliveries, along with birthday packs and all, since about 4, 5 years ago, until Hannah thought about making it a daily thing that will bring in daily money, which brought about setting up the restaurant. Read and digest the conversation between FIXIT-Nigeria and Hannah- Emmanade

Fixit.ng: Tell us about yourself and Emmanade Foods

Emmanade: I was born in this Lagos, Akilo precisely, grew up in Meiran Alagbado, moved to Abuleegba.
Had my primary Education at Ritlad Nursery & Primary School- Meiran, and junior secondary school education at IJJSS, senior secondary at Greenfield college, and finally got admission with Osun state polytechnic where I had my ND, after that processed my BSc at Open University and then certifications and all, still in the process.
Food has been my passion from when I was small. I like cooking, and people around me can testify to that. While I was in school, in the hostel I'll just ask everybody 'okay what are we eating today, let's just do a collaboration and I'll handle the cooking'. They know it's my thing, cooking is something I find pleasure in doing and that has actually made it easy

Fixit: How has the journey been?

Emmanade: First of all its been GOD, and passion is second.
The truth is, it's tasking, stressful, but the passion keeps one going, when you venture into something you dont have passion for, you'll be frustrated out of it.
Tasking in the sense that, you have to do some deliveries within short periods. Stress, before you cook this, cook that, waking up early to meet up with people that are going to work, schools, to deliver to them. My alarm rings for 5.30am, we are awake, so in 30minutes, we must be done, by 6 o'clock we leave the house, and 6.30 we are here.

Fixit: How do you intend to influence Nigerian cuisine?

Emmanade: In my own way, we can influence the economy by 1. Many people are actually in this business for the money part of it. Money is actually good but should not be priority. Give people what is edible, what is good for their body is most important, you shouldn't for moneymaking sake give people rubbish, on my own part, I believe in giving people what is edible, and affordable because of the economy, that they should be satisfied with whatever they're buying with even little amount. Such that you can walk in with whatever you have and still eat to satisfaction.

Fixit: What makes Emmanade stand out

Emmanade: The taste, I dont know if you understand that kind of homely taste, when you grab a bite and feel like 'I'm at home'. The good homely taste of it makes all the difference.

Fixit: What's Emmanade's Overall brand vision

Emmanade: My vision is not just about food, it's a mandate mixed with career, to feed the belly, and feed the souls as well, an Avenue to tell people about Christ, chip in one or two words of encouragement, like in the process of feeding the belly you feed the soul. People want to eat first before you can tell them anything.

Fixit: Plans for expanding

Emmanade: Yeah, of course everybody wants to expand in business now, no one wants to be on a spot and not progress. So there are plans of expansion and I know that with GOD it is doable.

Fixit: What is Your Exclusive testimony

Emmanade: I'll give you two out of many. The first is, when I actually had plans to set up the restaurant there was no funds, I can remember, early this year, i was like 'GOD, I want to be out of salary job and I dont know how you're going to do it for me but I want to have my restuarant'. I wasn't even prepared for it but I put agents into action, concerning what I need. I prayed about the direction and GOD gave me the location. When I got the place, this space is what I prayed and there was a go ahead. That's why we are here now. All the resources started coming, one thing I say is, once there is no plan or date attached to something there might not be realization of that thing. I already prayed about it that by June, everything should be done, everything started conforming to it and by June to the glory of GOD, we did the opening of the restaurant.

My second testimony is I got a job that I didn't sweat for, there was no referral, it was just a walk in customer that just ate and liked the food, and 'I'd like you to cater for my daughter's wedding'. Initially when we were having that conversation I was like 'well it's one of those people that tell you what they want to do', not until the person came back and actually dropped money for it and I knew that this is actually GOD in action. No referral, just someone that came in to eat saying 'if your regular food can be like this, your party food will be wow'. That was how the deal was done.
I specially give thanks to GOD for these two testimonies. The salary job wasn't frustrating but I believe in having my own business. I want to employer of labour too. Not because I want to feel like a boss or anything similar but I have a vision to push and there's a space for me in the market too. Salary job wasn't giving me satisfaction. I wanted to be out and do a 'thing' for myself.

Fixit: If not Emmanade, what would you be doing?

Emmanade: If not Emmanade, maybe I'd still be in my salary job, probably working and not being satisfied. When you are no longer finding fulfillment in what you are doing you'll be frustrated. I might not be seeing much now because we are still in the startup level but there's a feeling of satisfaction because it is what I like to do. If I'm to equate it to my salary then I might say it is not upto but I find satisfaction and that alone is okay for me.

Fixit: How did the name 'Emmanade' come about?

Emmanade: Emmanade is a long long story but the summary of it all is what brought about the name was a different thing from the onset. But along the line GOD changed it, gave me a better meaning for it. Since you ask, its 3 names put together to form the brand name. First name is Emmanuel, second is Hannah, and third is Adetutu. Emmanuel meaning GOD with us, then Hannah and Adetutu is my name. GOD with Hannah in this business will go global.

Fixit: Advice to Entrepreneurs

Emmanade: My advice is speak to GOD first about whatever you want to do. There is nothing I dont talk to GOD about, no matter what. There's no tiniest thing I dont talk to GOD about. Every detail is important, you have to carry GOD along with it. Aside passion, passion is not enough, there is time for everything, there might be time to launch and time to still wait, you know the market is competitive, there might be time GOD is actually setting you for, to hold on for the time HE wants to launch you into the business. So if you go faster than GOD you might be frustrated out of it. So you must understand timing. That's why I say you can not out rule GOD, because me as a person cant out rule GOD in whatever I want to do because I understand the Impact of GOD, I've seen how HIS guidance and mentorship has actually helped me, so why will I want to out rule such a PERSON in my activities. So it's important to first understand what GOD'S agenda is for you. 'GOD, should I go on this business?' 'Do I setup a location for it or do I still continue from the corner of my house?' All those little details matter. Like someone asked 'can you really ask the Holy Spirit all those things'- Yeah you can ask, you can ask stupid questions no matter how silly it is, so it's important you first put GOD in whatever you want to do. It makes all these things easy because HE'S the only one that can take you to the right and good places, talking about your sources and locations, all those things are very very important. HE may want you to be in Abuleegba but you feel your target customers are in Ikeja because it's an exponential environment. No, you have to be where GOD wants you to be. Do what GOD wants you to do. Then secondly Passion, you must understand if you have passion for this or it is a matter of time and you'll be frustrated. Encouragement is not enough, you love to do it is important so those 2 are important.

Fixit: Briefly characterize your relationship with GOD

Emmanade: How do I describe a relationship that is like beans and corn cooked together, how do you pick them apart? That's how it is.

Fixit: Who is Fatokun Hannah Adetutu

Emmanade: Hannah is a lover of GOD, well it's not good to actually talk too much about your person. Its always good when third parties give witness of your personality, who you are. So dont let me reference about myself, but I am just the simplest person you can ever meet. Simple, understanding.

Quite the drama when a woman challenged a fleeing Lasar apso, named Bailey to take responsibility for impregnating her Kim.

In the video posted by auto giants Kingscab rides, a woman can be heard in the background reprimanding the beautiful dog for trying to absolve himself from paternal duties, while parading the puppies, and urging their dad to be a responsible parent.
Funny enough the puppies have been priced at 100k each

CelebritiesI Got Married Very Late- Evangelist Celebrates GOD At 43 by DejiPlug(op):
GODSPOWERPROJECT

Winners Soldiers of Christ Evangelist Isioma Emmanuel is returning all glory to GOD for her testimony-filled life amidst the euphoria of clocking 43 on Friday, 5th of August 2022.

The brilliant and beautiful Mom of 2 went all out for GOD on the streets of Iju Ishaga, Lagos distributing invitations to church and positively affecting souls for Christ.

Isioma Emmanuel revealed that GOD indeed answers her prayers and Esther is her favorite character from the Bible, supported by the fact that the Exhortation during her weekly Friday exercise with the Winners Soldiers of Christ, centered around how Honor affected the case of Esther.

She also testified of how GOD collapsed time for her sake and why her birthday is also her best day

Isioma gave a brief insight to GODSPOWERPROJECT that
"I'm the third child from a family of 7, with 2 sisters and 2 brothers and to the glory of GOD, married with 2 kids. Since I was born I can say today feels the best day because all through the week leading to my birthday we were going out for morning cry, prayers and everything else. And on my birthday after the morning cry we went out for soul winning and the turnout was awesome. I just want to return all the glory to GOD Almighty. Because for my birthday gift I actually asked GOD to give me 10 established souls and I believe HE has already done it in JESUS Name".

GODSPOWERPROJECT recalls that Isioma got married to Richard Emmanuel 7 years ago, after a relationship which originated from a bus ride to Canaanland-Ota.

"I got married very late at 36, and GOD didn't just give me a good husband, HE gave me speed, HE collapsed time for my sake. Within 3 years- before I was 40 I had my kids, that makes me know that indeed GOD answers prayers. And other testimonies of supplying my needs, being there for me and my household before the need arises. I just want to say thank you JESUS."

She went on further by encouraging everyone to diligently seek GOD who is the only one that can truly turn challenges to testimony.

"Serving GOD pays, HE is not a user of men but will always come through for those that diligently seek HIM. Matthew 6v33 is the jackpot of life. As simple as it looks, it changes situations. Sometimes there are some needs you dont know you have but when you are at the altar praying for Kingdom advancement and reaching out to others, GOD is dropping them in your hands, because GOD wants all men to come to HIM, so we should just drop all our needs, challenges and problems and just focus on GOD because HE's the only help we need in these perilous times where things are getting difficult for those who dont know GOD, the next thing to do is to run to JESUS who's the only one that can help us. No man can help or even wants to help you beyond himself. GOD is the only one who can help you to where all your challenges turn testimonies."

"I have a lot of favorite Bible characters but I'll take Esther because the message I preached on my birthday talks about honor. Vashti felt because the king was her husband she could do however she liked. There's only 2 Bible books named after women and the reason is because of honor. That's why you dont look down on anybody. Everybody should be treated with honor and respected. That is why I will choose Esther anytime".

Husband, Richard Ugochukwu Emmanuel fueled the flames when he confirmed that GOD of his Father, Bishop David Oyedepo is indeed working in the life of his wife and that he has obtained favor from the LORD.

"Friday was my wife's birthday, The Lord added 1 more year to my wife and it has been a very good experience. Friday, she turned 43. What men used to think wont be possible for her, the LORD made it possible for her. As they say, she married late, at 36, but within these few years GOD has already given her things that most people who married at the age of 25 haven't really gotten in their life. GOD gave her speed because of her dedication and she's totally sold out to HIM

"She's a woman of GOD, Godfearing mother and my confidante. People might not know but she is like a push to me. Bible says he that findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favor from the LORD. That good thing is the part she plays more in my life. As in to perfect anything I might not be doing well." Richard went on to commend his wife.

When asked about tips for couples and others in relationships, Richard while making reference to Adam in the Garden of Eden interestingly quipped

"My advice to couples out there is before you couple and while you pray, try and read Biblical books because it will help to grow you into the kind of home you desire or want GOD to give you. Because if you are not informed, actually, exactly that marriage or home is totally deformed. Being informed will help you understand how 2 people come together and become one. Because if you do it by your natural sense you will actually fail as Adam did in the Garden of Eden.
Like our Father, Bishop David Oyedepo has hitch free marriage, why? Because he has prepared for it
"

As curious souls in a liberal (kind of) system, it is easy to get carried away with affairs of the flesh causing us to pay less attention to more potent activities in spirit, most of which end up becoming addictions, attachments and other forms of illicit entanglements.

Which mostly leads to struggles with some of life's baggage; anxiety, addictions, anger, drugs, tobacco, excessive spending, sexual lust, soul ties and so many others. Sometimes these habits, when left untamed push us to compromising lengths,
like a sex addict begging the domestic help for 'quickie'. Junkies pestering their network of family and friends just to fund a quick fix, anger issues leading to irrational outbursts when unintentionally provoked, and pride when you refuse to acknowledge GOD in your success.

Biyi:

"I used to be hot tempered, existed in a reckless financial mess, womanizer, heavy smoker, deviant porn addict, drinker, sotey e reach one point I know say all my matter get spiritual hand behind am because I began to experience fearful dreams, naso I begin dey find spiritual answers. BusinessWema Bank Debunks Forgery Allegation by DejiPlug(op): 4:55am On Aug 04, 2022
DejO

The attention of Management of WEMA BANK PLC has been drawn to the trending news in the media to the effect that a Magistrate’s Court in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, had issued a warrant for the arrest of our Managing Director, MR. ADEMOLA ADEBISE, in connection with a Garnishee proceeding for the payment of a judgement-debt on behalf of the Bayelsa State Government.

WEMA BANK PLC would like to use this medium to refute the allegations and dismiss the gross representation of facts in regard to the material facts, and the apparent breach of the principles of fair hearing before such order of the court was entered against our Managing Director.

WEMA BANK PLC wishes to state that, contrary to the facts presented before Her Worship, Mrs. Elizabeth Jones, the said set of five cheques for the total sum of N50m issued in protest based on pending applications before an Abuja High Court then, were in favor of the Chief Registrar FCT High Court, not in favour Barrister. George Haliday who is now claiming the proceeds of the cheques. It is important to note that those cheques were not signed by MR. ADEMOLA ADEBISE and had not assumed the position of the Managing Director of the bank at the material time the cheques were issued in favour of the Chief Registrar.

Furthermore, we would like to state that the five cheques issued in protest by our Bank were not dud cheques as alleged by the complainant. The cheques have only not been cleared for payment because of the subsisting Appeal at the Court of Appeal Abuja on the Garnishee proceeding which has now been decided in favour of the bank. It was after Barrister George Haliday lost at the Appeal Court that he resorted to a Magistrate Court in Abuja to lodge a complaint about issuance of dud cheques. It is very worthy of note that the judgement debt against Bayelsa State Government, which Barrister George Haliday attempted to enforce by a garnishee proceeding, thereby leading to the issuance of the cheques in question had been settled by Bayelsa State Government via a Terms of Settlement between Barrister. George Haliday and the Bayelsa State Government at the Supreme Court.

WEMA BANK wishes to state that the warrant for the arrest of MR. ADEMOLA ADEBISE is in violation of his fundamental rights to fair hearing as he was never personally served with any process to appear before the Magistrate Court, neither was he represented in court. We are a law-abiding corporate citizen; if there was any court summon properly served on the Managing Director for his appearance in court, he would have done so without fail. But, in this case, there was no such service extended to him or any court processes personally served on him to appear in court until a warrant of arrest was issued in absentia. We view the arrest warrant as being an infringement on his fundamental rights.

We, therefore, refute and dismiss in their entirety the allegations of dud cheque and forgery levelled against our Bank and the Managing Director. We also dismiss the inappropriate issuance of bench warrant on our Managing Director. GODSPOWERPROJECT

To God be all the glory it was indescribable joy and memorable fun last Friday, 29th July, 2022 within Living Faith circles, when the popular Word Of Faith Bible Institute (WOFBI) graduated its latest set of Basic Certificate Course (BCC) students after completing a 2weeks intensive study of the power of the WORD of GOD.

In an event that featured Spiritual Impartation from God's servant Bishop David Oyedepo, as well as music, drama and gifts presentation- the Resident Apostle, Bishop David Oyedepo, as well as Area Pastor, Ajibola Abimbola prophesied that the graduating set of BCC- July 2022, was among the accomplished ones.

"There are those who start but they dont finish, if you are here and all your life you always start but you are never able to finish, because you have finished this one for the first time, every other thing that has been left unfinished in your life, they will be accomplished. You will never experience unfinished projects forever in the name of Jesus".

Delivering the keynote address which featured Being in Love with God and Proofs of Love for GOD, Bishop David Oyedepo noted that access to the deep things of God and becoming a high flier in life are results of being in love with God while prophesying
"Whatever clears the way for God clears the way for you"
And obedience, love of God's Word, love of His presence, delightful giving and kingdom advancement are principal characteristics of Love for God while referencing the Books of John14v21, 1Jhn5v3, Psa112, Hebrews4v16, Psa55v17, 2Cor8v2, 1Jhn3v15-18 and Matt1v21. Others are Jhn21v15-17.

Pastor Ajibola went on to advise the graduates that Christianity is a lifetime walk with God, not just sleeping and waking up with your Bible or attending service on service days. But your heartbeat is how the knowledge of God will keep prospering according to Ecclesiastes12v14.
"A life not examined is not worth living. The church is not the building, it is you, you carry God the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. Matthew6v33 is the destiny of believers- a lifelong walk of service just like Joshua. You cannot be saved and not serving and expect to be kept in. If you are not serving God there's no platform for relationship". Pastor Ajibola quipped.

Notably present was Administrative Pastor Adesuyi Oke

The event went to feature music and drama presentations packaged by the graduating students. Refreshments and a brief photo session followed after.

GOD be Praised.

Junior Bible School commences Today (Monday- Wednesday) across all Living Faith accredited centers.

PoliticsWhere Lies The Contempt? Ubani Speaks On Jailing Of Inibehe Effiong by DejiPlug(op): 1:44pm On Jul 28, 2022
Oki Samson
www.trekafrica.net

The Chairman of Nigerian Bar Association Section on Public Interest and Development (NBA-SPIDEL), Dr. Monday Onyekachi Ubani has expressed his personal concerns over the one-month jail of Akwa-Ibom-based human rights lawyer, Inibehe Effiong.

National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP gathered that Barr. Effiong was jailed by Her Lordship for contempt during a court session in which he stood as a defense lawyer for a man accused to have defamed Gov. Udom Emmanuel.

Baring his thoughts, Dr. Ubani shared: 'I have been careful not to jump into this matter of imprisonment of Mr Inibehe to avoid being accused of hasty intervention. Effiong is my friend and sort of a "brother". He is known for his courage, straightforwardness and perhaps bluntness.

His defence of one Leo Ekpeyong for defamation case brought by His Excellency, Mr Udom Emmanuel, the governor of Akwa Ibom has been turbulent.'

'The chief judge has threatened to jail him even before now. The threats for the jail was because Mr Effiong has sought to defend the cause of his client in a way that the Chief Judge considers an affront to her authority as a judge. An application for the Chief Judge to recuse herself from handling the case is still pending and has not been heard before the commencement of trial today. For a litigation lawyer, such a procedure is erroneous and a presumption that the judge is indeed biased going by the allegation of Mr Effiong.'

'Back to today when the incident of imprisonment took place. At the commencement of proceedings, it was reported that Mr Effiong politely reminded Her Lordship of the pending application for recusal. Her lordship ignored the counsel and ordered commencement of trial. In the middle of the trial, a journalist of Premium Times covering the proceedings was ordered to leave the courtroom. Mr Effiong politely reminded Her Lordship that the court room is a public place, and besides the trial is not a secret trial. Again her Lordship ignored him.

It was at this juncture that Mr Effiong raised the issue of the two policemen who allegedly were armed with AK 47 who were seated in the courtroom at the instance of the Chief Judge', NAOSNP gathered about the court process on the day that Inibehe was jailed.

Dr. Monday Ubani then threw a barrage of questions on the court activities for the day. 'Are those armed police providing security to the judge, court, or to the litigants? Was Mr Effiong rightly or wrongly alarmed by their presence? Does he not have a right to express his fears especially in the light of the order asking a journalist covering the trial to go out?

What is the contempt here? Is it his expression of fears of the presence of the armed policemen in the court? Now what is the procedure to try contempt whether in the face or ex-facie curiae? Is raising fears about the presence of armed policemen evidence of contempt in the face of the court? What is the content of the contempt here please? Somebody should help me out.

Did he abuse the judge or interfere in the administration of justice in the way he responded to the court during the trial? What could be the situation that warranted the contempt trial?

Is Her Lordship angry because of the application for her to recuse herself? Is that contemptuous? Assuming but not conceding that it is, what is the right procedure to try a Defendant for contempt ex-facie curiae? Was that procedure complied with in the present circumstance?'

He then shared with National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP his concerns over the one-month jail landed on Inibehe Effiong. 'One month jail term for an offence which trial process is in clear doubt is something that bothers me. I must tell you that I am eager to hear the side of the Court on this matter. Everyone is entitled to a fair hearing including the Chief Judge.

If the judge was over hyper-active in handling this Effiong's matter, be rest assured that this conviction will be set aside by the appellate court for being erroneous'.

Dr. Ubani concluded that NBA-SPIDEL will give an official statement on the matter in due time, 'Spidel in which I am the chairman will take a position in the interest of the Public when the full facts of what transpired in the court today are fairly disclosed or revealed. We await the reaction of the court or any lawyer who was present during the proceedings.'

'God forbid the day a lawyer becomes a "Criminal" for defending a client. May it never come!', Dr M.O. Ubani concluded.

PoliticsMy Birthday, A Celebration Of God’s Faithfulness- Ubani by DejiPlug(op):

Chairman of Nigerian Bar Association Section on Public Interest and Developmental Law, NBA-SPIDEL, Dr. Monday Onyekachi Ubani is a year older today (July 27) and the Human Rights lawyer fondly called MOU by friends and well-wishers is using the occasion to celebrate God faithfulness.

Reflecting on his life on earth, Ubani said he is particularly grateful to God who has stood by him throughout the high and low moments of his life.

He said: “July 27 every year is always an opportunity for me to reflect on how God has stood by me throughout my low and high moments. This year is not an exception. God has been my pillar and without him, I am nobody. What you see in my today and describe as success could not have been possible without God’s mercy and faithfulness.

“Besides God, my family has also been very supportive. The love of my wife and children is unquantifiable and has spurred me to be the success story I am today. Nigerians have also been kind to me and I appreciate every one of them. I celebrate everyone who has been a part of my life.”

Born to a humble family in Awomukwu Village in Ikwuano Local Government Area of Abia State, Ubani has risen from a young ambitious village boy to become a successful lawyer, an opinion moulder and one of the few respected voices on national issues in the country.

Not only has he excelled in law practice, Ubani has become an unrepentant philanthropist and an advocate of human and peoples' rights in Nigeria and beyond. Just recently, Ubani won the hearts of Nigerians when he dragged the Federal Government to court over mandatory Covid-19 vaccine and twitter ban.

Ubani’s quest to impact humanity started way back in 2012 when contested and won the chairmanship position in the ever vibrant Nigerian Bar Association, Ikeja Branch and took the branch to the level that no previous or those after him had reached.

His leadership quality and friendship revived the divided branch and made it a very united branch that its voice was feared and respected nationally during his tenure. It was therefore very easy for him when he aspired to the position of the vice presidency at the national level.

He was adopted by the Eastern Bar Forum of lawyers in which he is a member and returned unopposed at the national election of the association that took place in 2016 and became elected with the highest vote even more than that of the president of the Association, an indication of his popularity within the legal circle.

Due to the feat he achieved during his tenure as a second vice-president, Ubani was elected as chairman of NBA-SPIDEL to revive the session which was almost in comatose. Since mounting the leadership of NBA-SPIDEL, the Section has become a reference point in the fight to enshrine rule of law and hold the government to account.

His act of philanthropy includes the saving of the life of Baby Somaya who had a successful heart surgery in India and came back to Nigeria to the waiting arm of MTN and Praise, a musician who collaborated with MTN to donate the sum of 10 million Naira to the baby. The baby is today a landlady and living a normal life.

He also brought to limelight a lady who worked at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos as a cleaner and returned the sum of 12 million lost money to the owner. That singular act of honesty attracted Dr Ubani and his Foundation, Onyekachi Ubani Foundation and they swung into action and got the lady introduced to Nigeria as the face of a true and honest Nigerian through the mainstream and social media.

The reward to the lady came in torrents: awards, money gifts, employment opportunities and handshakes with the high and mighty in Nigeria. In fact, that promotion of her virtue brought her a husband subsequently She is happily married to her heartthrob. Recently she was given a house and several gifts by the Vice President of the country His Excellency, Prof Yemi Osinbajo SAN.

Dr. Ubani through his law firm has rendred pro bono services and has also helped many aggrieved Nigerians to get justice.

The plethora of awards that adorn the walls of Ubani's office and home are true attestation that the labour of this indefatigable humanitarian has not escaped the watchful attention of many credible local and international organizations.

Ubani is married to Lady Faurstina and is blessed with four lovely children, one of whom is already following his step as a vibrant legal practitioner. His second son is an Engineer graduate of the prestigious Covenant University.

Many happy returns

IGBO GROUP TELLS POLICE: AVOID BLOODBATH, DON'T JOIN ODOGWU, EZEIBE TO DISOBEY COURT

Oki Samson
www.trekafrica.net

Bloodbath, palpable breakdown of law and order may be the order of the day today Monday July 4, 2022 at the Balogun Business Association BBA market at the Trade Fair Complex,Ojo, along the
Lagos/Badagry Expressway, Lagos, as some breakaway members of the Association
led by one Chief Oscar Odogwu and one Chief Okey  Ezeibe goes to purportedly enforce a dubious, very questionable court order in a very dangerous attempt
to foist an unknown and unrecognized members of the Association on the teeming
traders in the market in contravention of subsisting orders and decisions of the Federal High Court.

Sources said the new phase of the crisis that had been rocking the market association started after Chief Okey Ezeibe allegedly took some loyalists of the
association to an obscure area outside the
market and purported to conduct an election in which unpopular and unrecognized
persons, including Chief Oscar Odogwu, were purportedly elected as leaders of the association to the chagrin of other members who felt the reign of Chief Ezeibe had lapsed and therefore, conducting an election outside the market runs contrary to
the constitution of the association.

This illegal election was purportedly conducted notwithstanding that the Federal High Court, Abuja, had ordered that such action should not be taken in its decision in July last year, 2021, in a lawsuit Suit No.FHC/ABJ/CS/451/2021.

Sources in the market said the reason
Chief Okey Ezeibe is embarking on what the bulk of members of the Association consider an illegal and extremely dangerous adventure is to perpetuate himself as a life
trustee of the association as well as continue to have access to the finances of the association the way he used to when he served as President of the association.

Sources in the market informed that Chief Okey Ezeibe had earlier approached
the Corporate Affairs Commission CAC, to alter the order of things with regards to the Board of Trustees. He was said to have attempted to entrench himself as a life Chairman of Board of Trustees but the hasty and untidy revocation of the Certificate of Registration of the association by the CAC resulted in a legal action by the association and its incumbent management resulting in an order by the Federal High Court, Abuja which intervened, stayed the action of the Commission and sustained the incumbent management of the association in office pending determination of that Suit No.FHC/ABJ/451/202.

It was reliably gathered that when Chief Okey Ezeibe noticed that he was going to face a stiff resistance from the
association and its incumbent management he resorted to using the Nigeria Police Force to have his way.

But again the association and its incumbent management filed another lawsuit against the Police in Suit No.FHC/ABJ/579/2021 in which Chief Ezeibe and others are now also Defendants.

The Federal High Court on the 23rd of July, 2021 ruled in Suit No./ FHCABJ/CS/579/2021 that the illegal election conducted by Chief Ezeibe cannot stand.

On the 27th of September, 2021 the Federal High Court further made an order in Suit No.FHC/ABJ/CS/579/2021 directing the Police to ensure that nothing is done to tamper with or interfere in the subject matter of the suit.

These decisions of the Federal High Court in Suit No.FHC/ABJ/CS/451/2021 and Suit No.FHC/ABJ/CS/579/2021, from investigations conducted by our correspondents are still subsisting up till the time of this report.

Chief Oscar Odogwu and Chief Okey
Ezeibe and their small band of followers reportedly approached the sitting Commissioner of Police CP Sylvester Abiodun Alabi who may have ample knowledge of the goings in the market, cajoled him to direct the Area ’E’
Commander to give them enough Policemen to enforce the illegal election, but the Chief Anselm Dunu-led legally constituted Caretaker Committee, with the support of the vast majority of the membership of the association has been engaging with the Nigeria Police Force until the recent developments of the rumoured plans by the Police to invade the market in the early morning hours of today and forcibly seize the market and the Secretariat of the association and illegally install Chief Oscar Odogwu and his cohorts in office.

They are reported to be relying on a ruling of the Lagos State High Court of the 5th of May,2022 in Suit No.LD/3175LM/2021 which ruled on legal representation of the Association and in which the Lagos State High Court presided by Honourable Justice Ogunjobi is reported to have sat on appeal over the earlier decisions of the Federal High Court in Suit No.FHC/ABJ/CS/451/2021 and Suit No.FHC/ABJ/CS/579/2021 and purportedly set these decisions of the Federal High Court aside despite that the Federal High Court is a court of coordinate jurisdiction with the Lagos State High Court.

But this ruling of the Lagos State High Court is already a subject matter of an appeal by the association to the Court of Appeal entered at the Court of Appeal, Lagos, as APPEAL No.CA/LAG/CV/473/2022 since 27th May, 2022.

The association also filed a Motion for Stay of Execution of that ruling of the Lagos State High Court and our investigations confirm that both the Deputy Sheriff of the High Court of Lagos State, the Inspector-General of Police, the Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Zone 2 Command, Lagos and the Commissioner of Police of the Lagos State Command as well as the lawyer for Chief Ezeibe and Chief Oscar Odogwu and their band of followers were served with the motion for stay of execution.

It is therefore surprising and a matter of serious concern that the Nigeria Police Force through its Area E Command seems set, from reports, to forcibly invade the BBA market in the very early morning hours of today to seize control of the market and the Secretariat of the Association and forcibly install Chief Oscar Odogwu,Chief Okey Ezeibe and their cohorts as purportedly elected officers of the association in what appears to be a brazen defiance of the judiciary in Nigeria and contravention of subsisting orders and decisions of the Federal High Court and nowithstanding the real likelihood of a bloodbath, monumental breakdown of law and order in the market arising from such reckless, dangerous and illegal action by the Police.

Chief Anselm Dunu, the incumbent Chairman of the Caretaker Committee of the association assures our correspondents that the association and its incumbent management led by him has repeatedly extended a hand of fellowship to Chief Okey Ezeibe and Chief Oscar Odogwu, calling them to join hands with the rest of the association to move the association forward and conduct credible election of new officers.

The association, he said, calls on the Area Commander of Area E Command to steer clear and not interfere with ongoing
judicial proceedings at the Federal High Court, Abuja, and at the Court of Appeal, particularly the appeal at the Court of Appeal against the Ruling of Justice Ogunjobi of the Lagos State High Court
of 5th May, 2022 and the pending motion for stay of execution pending determination
of the appeal, stay of proceedings in the suit pending determination of the appeal, and injunction pending determination of the appeal.

The Area Commander, the association admonished, should not allow himself to be deceived and misled by outlaws who
have no respect for the Courts of Law and the Rule of Law.

The operation the Area Commander wants to carry out is patently illegal, the association warned, and the Area Commander should cease and desist from the brazen illegality he his attempting to foist on the association.

The way forward, the association insisted, is for the Area Commander to respect the subsisting decision of the Federal High Court in the ongoing judicial proceedings in Suits at the Federal High Court and the Court of Appeal.

GODSPOWERPROJECT: WHAT IS YOUR EXCLUSIVE TESTIMONY

"Whatever you are good at or talent you discover, you should never relent but always continue doing it because I believe that as long as you are gifted you have a big hope of being very successful if you work hard"

Meet 19 year old Majente Olanrewaju, multi talented pencil artist, graphics designer, computer operator and NFT enthusiast, who has arguably the biggest art gallery of top Nigerian personalities including choice portraits of Folorunsho Alakija, Williams Uchemba, Davido and many others. Now adding popular DMW aide, Aloma.

GODSPOWERPROJECT meets with the multifaceted creative popularly known as Mista-Maj, at his unit in the IB-Tech studio/gallery situated within the Iju- Ishaga roundabout axis of Lagos, where he briefly discusses his life, skills, plans for the future, God's grace upon his life and other things that make him tick.

GODSPOWERPROJECT: kindly introduce yourself
M-M: My name is Majente Olanrewaju, and I'm a Graphics Designer, computer operator and a pencil artist. I'm also into NFT- it's a platform that you can trade your art. I'm very good in digital art.
I am strong in all but the one I love most is being a pencil artist and Graphics design. I've been doing this for upto 5 years now, because I started both of them together.
I am a member of NewsInk, an organization that produces comics but I don't really have time is why I'm not always there.

GODSPOWERPROJECT: Briefly share some insights into your background
M-M: From a broken family with only a mother, dad is gone. She takes care of I and my sister, we are 2. I'm an O level student looking forward to enter higher Institution probably this year or next.
While my mother was selling downstairs (of IB-Tech plaza), I had the opportunity to be coming to cafe, so then I started coming here to play, then my mom registered me here to start learning and from there I started working with them, even while I was still going to school.
I started my art in school and when I reached ss1 I registered for arts department so I registered visual arts as a subject. There I started developing my drawing skills and my graphics design too, I started developing it here at IB-Tech cybercafe.

GODSPOWERPROJECT: Plans for the future
M-M: I'm planning to study Fine Arts in the university, because I need to know more about fine art because I have passion for it.
I wish to create a global art organization where talented kids will be able to showcase their talents to the world, then we sponsor them, and they'll create very good pieces of art that will impress the world. That can be put in museums and other places. And I'll love to base the organization in Africa so Africa can showcase her beauty to the world.
What I think can help me expand is empowerment. If I can get more materials and tools to draw I'll impress many people. I believe in myself and with time everything will get better. I'm 19 this June 29.

GODSPOWERPROJECT: What is Your Exclusive Testimony?
M-M: My testimony is I've been improving, everyday in my areas of specialization. Each time I come back to it. I find myself improved. So I thank God I'm always improving everyday that I've now become a professional in my works.
It's been a while I touched pencil to draw, so I just decided to draw some artworks, then easily I got it right. Unlike before that I'd have to clean, do some changes, but this time it's just so easy and it's very good. And again, with the graphic design, I realized that I've been producing very professional works. Like if I start designing, inspiration will just be coming. I'm currently the graphics designer for my church, CCC, King of kings Cathedral, because I joined the media team in February. And also computer and diagnostics expert for errors and all things technical

GODSPOWERPROJECT: What will Be Your Message for Eternity and general public?
M-M: There are many talented people like me, but they are so helpless, I would like to help them.
Whatever you are good at or talent you discover, you should never relent but always continue doing it because I believe that as long as you are gifted you have a big hope of being very successful if you work hard, along with linkups, and socializing.
Even people who dont know their area of specialization, they can find it. I believe everybody has their talent.

GODSPOWERPROJECT: How long did this Aloma-dmw artwork take you?
M-M: I drew this sometime between April and May, its going to 3 months, and it took just a day to complete. I have pictures of the process on my phone.
I don't like artworks taking long with me, because the place I keep them are not always safe. Something must happen to it eventually. Like the rough parts, creases,

GODSPOWERPROJECT: Happiest moment and Biggest Lessons Learned
M-M: My biggest lesson has been Never to trust anyone, betrayal is real, I've seen, I do watch movies not just American but Yoruba as well. I've seen betrayal among friends. My boss lectures me sometimes, even some wey I no fit remember, life has taught me lessons.
Happiest moment is when I deliver my artwork and our patron in my new church was really happy with it, and he's willing to help.

Glory be to God, Happy birthday Mista-Maj, GODSPOWERPROJECT wishes you more life in grace and prosperity, more funds to your aza, ink to your pens, shadings to your artwork and many more divine blessings from God
