IGBO GROUP TELLS POLICE: AVOID BLOODBATH, DON'T JOIN ODOGWU, EZEIBE TO DISOBEY COURT Oki Samson www.trekafrica.net Bloodbath, palpable breakdown of law and order may be the order of the day today Monday July 4, 2022 at the Balogun Business Association BBA market at the Trade Fair Complex,Ojo, along the Lagos/Badagry Expressway, Lagos, as some breakaway members of the Association led by one Chief Oscar Odogwu and one Chief Okey Ezeibe goes to purportedly enforce a dubious, very questionable court order in a very dangerous attempt to foist an unknown and unrecognized members of the Association on the teeming traders in the market in contravention of subsisting orders and decisions of the Federal High Court. Sources said the new phase of the crisis that had been rocking the market association started after Chief Okey Ezeibe allegedly took some loyalists of the association to an obscure area outside the market and purported to conduct an election in which unpopular and unrecognized persons, including Chief Oscar Odogwu, were purportedly elected as leaders of the association to the chagrin of other members who felt the reign of Chief Ezeibe had lapsed and therefore, conducting an election outside the market runs contrary to the constitution of the association. This illegal election was purportedly conducted notwithstanding that the Federal High Court, Abuja, had ordered that such action should not be taken in its decision in July last year, 2021, in a lawsuit Suit No.FHC/ABJ/CS/451/2021. Sources in the market said the reason Chief Okey Ezeibe is embarking on what the bulk of members of the Association consider an illegal and extremely dangerous adventure is to perpetuate himself as a life trustee of the association as well as continue to have access to the finances of the association the way he used to when he served as President of the association. Sources in the market informed that Chief Okey Ezeibe had earlier approached the Corporate Affairs Commission CAC, to alter the order of things with regards to the Board of Trustees. He was said to have attempted to entrench himself as a life Chairman of Board of Trustees but the hasty and untidy revocation of the Certificate of Registration of the association by the CAC resulted in a legal action by the association and its incumbent management resulting in an order by the Federal High Court, Abuja which intervened, stayed the action of the Commission and sustained the incumbent management of the association in office pending determination of that Suit No.FHC/ABJ/451/202. It was reliably gathered that when Chief Okey Ezeibe noticed that he was going to face a stiff resistance from the association and its incumbent management he resorted to using the Nigeria Police Force to have his way. But again the association and its incumbent management filed another lawsuit against the Police in Suit No.FHC/ABJ/579/2021 in which Chief Ezeibe and others are now also Defendants. The Federal High Court on the 23rd of July, 2021 ruled in Suit No./ FHCABJ/CS/579/2021 that the illegal election conducted by Chief Ezeibe cannot stand. On the 27th of September, 2021 the Federal High Court further made an order in Suit No.FHC/ABJ/CS/579/2021 directing the Police to ensure that nothing is done to tamper with or interfere in the subject matter of the suit. These decisions of the Federal High Court in Suit No.FHC/ABJ/CS/451/2021 and Suit No.FHC/ABJ/CS/579/2021, from investigations conducted by our correspondents are still subsisting up till the time of this report. Chief Oscar Odogwu and Chief Okey Ezeibe and their small band of followers reportedly approached the sitting Commissioner of Police CP Sylvester Abiodun Alabi who may have ample knowledge of the goings in the market, cajoled him to direct the Area ’E’ Commander to give them enough Policemen to enforce the illegal election, but the Chief Anselm Dunu-led legally constituted Caretaker Committee, with the support of the vast majority of the membership of the association has been engaging with the Nigeria Police Force until the recent developments of the rumoured plans by the Police to invade the market in the early morning hours of today and forcibly seize the market and the Secretariat of the association and illegally install Chief Oscar Odogwu and his cohorts in office. They are reported to be relying on a ruling of the Lagos State High Court of the 5th of May,2022 in Suit No.LD/3175LM/2021 which ruled on legal representation of the Association and in which the Lagos State High Court presided by Honourable Justice Ogunjobi is reported to have sat on appeal over the earlier decisions of the Federal High Court in Suit No.FHC/ABJ/CS/451/2021 and Suit No.FHC/ABJ/CS/579/2021 and purportedly set these decisions of the Federal High Court aside despite that the Federal High Court is a court of coordinate jurisdiction with the Lagos State High Court. But this ruling of the Lagos State High Court is already a subject matter of an appeal by the association to the Court of Appeal entered at the Court of Appeal, Lagos, as APPEAL No.CA/LAG/CV/473/2022 since 27th May, 2022. The association also filed a Motion for Stay of Execution of that ruling of the Lagos State High Court and our investigations confirm that both the Deputy Sheriff of the High Court of Lagos State, the Inspector-General of Police, the Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Zone 2 Command, Lagos and the Commissioner of Police of the Lagos State Command as well as the lawyer for Chief Ezeibe and Chief Oscar Odogwu and their band of followers were served with the motion for stay of execution. It is therefore surprising and a matter of serious concern that the Nigeria Police Force through its Area E Command seems set, from reports, to forcibly invade the BBA market in the very early morning hours of today to seize control of the market and the Secretariat of the Association and forcibly install Chief Oscar Odogwu,Chief Okey Ezeibe and their cohorts as purportedly elected officers of the association in what appears to be a brazen defiance of the judiciary in Nigeria and contravention of subsisting orders and decisions of the Federal High Court and nowithstanding the real likelihood of a bloodbath, monumental breakdown of law and order in the market arising from such reckless, dangerous and illegal action by the Police. Chief Anselm Dunu, the incumbent Chairman of the Caretaker Committee of the association assures our correspondents that the association and its incumbent management led by him has repeatedly extended a hand of fellowship to Chief Okey Ezeibe and Chief Oscar Odogwu, calling them to join hands with the rest of the association to move the association forward and conduct credible election of new officers. The association, he said, calls on the Area Commander of Area E Command to steer clear and not interfere with ongoing judicial proceedings at the Federal High Court, Abuja, and at the Court of Appeal, particularly the appeal at the Court of Appeal against the Ruling of Justice Ogunjobi of the Lagos State High Court of 5th May, 2022 and the pending motion for stay of execution pending determination of the appeal, stay of proceedings in the suit pending determination of the appeal, and injunction pending determination of the appeal. The Area Commander, the association admonished, should not allow himself to be deceived and misled by outlaws who have no respect for the Courts of Law and the Rule of Law. The operation the Area Commander wants to carry out is patently illegal, the association warned, and the Area Commander should cease and desist from the brazen illegality he his attempting to foist on the association. The way forward, the association insisted, is for the Area Commander to respect the subsisting decision of the Federal High Court in the ongoing judicial proceedings in Suits at the Federal High Court and the Court of Appeal.

GODSPOWERPROJECT: WHAT IS YOUR EXCLUSIVE TESTIMONY "Whatever you are good at or talent you discover, you should never relent but always continue doing it because I believe that as long as you are gifted you have a big hope of being very successful if you work hard" Meet 19 year old Majente Olanrewaju, multi talented pencil artist, graphics designer, computer operator and NFT enthusiast, who has arguably the biggest art gallery of top Nigerian personalities including choice portraits of Folorunsho Alakija, Williams Uchemba, Davido and many others. Now adding popular DMW aide, Aloma. GODSPOWERPROJECT meets with the multifaceted creative popularly known as Mista-Maj, at his unit in the IB-Tech studio/gallery situated within the Iju- Ishaga roundabout axis of Lagos, where he briefly discusses his life, skills, plans for the future, God's grace upon his life and other things that make him tick. GODSPOWERPROJECT: kindly introduce yourself M-M: My name is Majente Olanrewaju, and I'm a Graphics Designer, computer operator and a pencil artist. I'm also into NFT- it's a platform that you can trade your art. I'm very good in digital art. I am strong in all but the one I love most is being a pencil artist and Graphics design. I've been doing this for upto 5 years now, because I started both of them together. I am a member of NewsInk, an organization that produces comics but I don't really have time is why I'm not always there. GODSPOWERPROJECT: Briefly share some insights into your background M-M: From a broken family with only a mother, dad is gone. She takes care of I and my sister, we are 2. I'm an O level student looking forward to enter higher Institution probably this year or next. While my mother was selling downstairs (of IB-Tech plaza), I had the opportunity to be coming to cafe, so then I started coming here to play, then my mom registered me here to start learning and from there I started working with them, even while I was still going to school. I started my art in school and when I reached ss1 I registered for arts department so I registered visual arts as a subject. There I started developing my drawing skills and my graphics design too, I started developing it here at IB-Tech cybercafe. GODSPOWERPROJECT: Plans for the future M-M: I'm planning to study Fine Arts in the university, because I need to know more about fine art because I have passion for it. I wish to create a global art organization where talented kids will be able to showcase their talents to the world, then we sponsor them, and they'll create very good pieces of art that will impress the world. That can be put in museums and other places. And I'll love to base the organization in Africa so Africa can showcase her beauty to the world. What I think can help me expand is empowerment. If I can get more materials and tools to draw I'll impress many people. I believe in myself and with time everything will get better. I'm 19 this June 29. GODSPOWERPROJECT: What is Your Exclusive Testimony? M-M: My testimony is I've been improving, everyday in my areas of specialization. Each time I come back to it. I find myself improved. So I thank God I'm always improving everyday that I've now become a professional in my works. It's been a while I touched pencil to draw, so I just decided to draw some artworks, then easily I got it right. Unlike before that I'd have to clean, do some changes, but this time it's just so easy and it's very good. And again, with the graphic design, I realized that I've been producing very professional works. Like if I start designing, inspiration will just be coming. I'm currently the graphics designer for my church, CCC, King of kings Cathedral, because I joined the media team in February. And also computer and diagnostics expert for errors and all things technical GODSPOWERPROJECT: What will Be Your Message for Eternity and general public? M-M: There are many talented people like me, but they are so helpless, I would like to help them. Whatever you are good at or talent you discover, you should never relent but always continue doing it because I believe that as long as you are gifted you have a big hope of being very successful if you work hard, along with linkups, and socializing. Even people who dont know their area of specialization, they can find it. I believe everybody has their talent. GODSPOWERPROJECT: How long did this Aloma-dmw artwork take you? M-M: I drew this sometime between April and May, its going to 3 months, and it took just a day to complete. I have pictures of the process on my phone. I don't like artworks taking long with me, because the place I keep them are not always safe. Something must happen to it eventually. Like the rough parts, creases, GODSPOWERPROJECT: Happiest moment and Biggest Lessons Learned M-M: My biggest lesson has been Never to trust anyone, betrayal is real, I've seen, I do watch movies not just American but Yoruba as well. I've seen betrayal among friends. My boss lectures me sometimes, even some wey I no fit remember, life has taught me lessons. Happiest moment is when I deliver my artwork and our patron in my new church was really happy with it, and he's willing to help. Glory be to God, Happy birthday Mista-Maj, GODSPOWERPROJECT wishes you more life in grace and prosperity, more funds to your aza, ink to your pens, shadings to your artwork and many more divine blessings from God Since the beginning of time and millenia after the first coming of Jesus Christ, people are continuously intrigued by the mighty acts of God Almighty in the lives of His servants- through studies of ancient history to Scriptural adventures. Oki Samson www.trekafrica.net An Eight-Man Delegation of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has paid a two-day working visit to the headquarters of the European Border Agency the FRONTEX last week to hold discussions with FRONTEX Officials on Border security and migration management matters. The delegation which was led by the Deputy Comptroller General in charge of the Directorate of Border Management, DCG Muhammad Aminu Muhammad mni was received on arrival at the FRONTEX Headquarters in Warsaw, Poland by senior Officials of the organization including Mr. Iain Galea of the International Cooperation Division. In a press statement e-signed and released to the National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP by the Service's PRO, Assistant Comptroller of Immigration, Amos Okpu noted that the mutual relationship dated back to 2012. In her welcome remarks, the interim Executive Director of FRONTEX, Aija Kalnaja stated that Nigeria and indeed the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) remains a very dependable partner to her agency in the areas of Border security and migration management. Kalnaja maintained that the relationship has remained very enduring and useful to both agencies particularly in the areas of experience sharing and capacity building. She made a case for enhanced collaboration and partnerships by Border agencies for a sustained fight against cross-border crimes especially migrants smuggling and trafficking. She stressed that the relationship between her agency and the NIS dated back to 2012 when both agencies entered into a Working Arrangement on Border security and Migration Management. ‘I sincerely hope that both agencies will explore the opportunity of this meeting to examine the existing Working Arrangement to see if there are areas of possible review in line with current global migratory reality’, she stated. Responding, the team lead of NIS delegation and head of the Directorate of Border Management, DCG Aminu Muhammad expressed appreciation for the warm reception accorded his team. He stressed that modern migratory realities are indicating that no unilateral efforts at migration and border security management will endure hence meetings such as this should be encouraged. He reiterated NIS’ strong commitment to healthy collaboration with friendly Border security agencies such as FRONTEX and called for frank discussions during plenary. He further stressed the need for countries in Europe and other developed States to look beyond establishing Border barricades to control migration but rather make enduring arrangements to sincerely join efforts with authorities in developing countries to frontally address the pull and push factors of modern migration. He reiterated that the quantum of investments in building high-rise Border barricades would not yield lasting benefits if the living conditions of people in developing countries remain abysmally poor, NAOSNP gathered. Earlier, the facilitator of the trip and country representative of FIIAPP, implementer of the Action Against Trafficking in Persons and Smuggling of Migrants in Nigeria (A-TIPSOM), Mr. Rafael Molina stated his organization decided to facilitate the trip with the aim of building enhanced synergy between FRONTEX and NIS for a more coordinated approach to the fight against irregular and dangerous migration. The meeting had robust plenary sessions during which presentations on matters such as the role of Migration Information and Data Analysis System (MIDAS) the NIS Regional Migration Academy Fundamental Human Rights as an Essential Component of European Integrated Border Management, FRONTEX Law Enforcement Function and the Fight Against TIPSOM in the EU, Fundamental Human Rights as an Essential Component of European Integrated Border Management, FRONTEX Support in the Entire Return Process among others were made. Some major highlights of the meeting include expressions of strong commitment to enhanced collaboration and partnership by both agencies in the fight against irregular migration as well as robust assurances for more enriching capacity building engagements between both agencies. The delegation before rounding up the trip visited the Nigerian Embassy and got treated to a very warm reception by His Excellency, Ambassador. Maj. It was so swollen that my Mummy wondered 'my baby that's not up to 2 years', then they were baby Christians. They've been Christians right from time but these nominal Christians who just joined an orthodox church, CAC. They didnt believe there was world, abi 'aiye' that could inflict and afflict, they just thought it was medical stuff. They started at county at Ogba. From there to igbobi, to orthopedic to general, to Lasuth, this and that, that was it o. They were running so many tests they couldn't find anything, but the leg was just swollen. My mum said it got to a stage 'it was hard as a stone' for a small baby that did not even have stature. I was now looking as if I wanted to die. They said they could not allow parents to stay with the babies. So she goes as far as Lasuth everyday, everyday, everyday. They performed 2 major surgeries on my leg, and as she said, 'the first surgery pus they brought out from the leg filled a big baff and everywhere was smelling'. She was like God, what is this. Then when their faith could not carry it, they had to tell their Pastors 'Daddy see o, we thought it was hospital something but this one is getting beyond what they can handle'. So the Pastors came in turns to the hospital to pray for me. My mum said one thing she loved about the whole thing is as small as I was, that I'll just look at her face and tell her 'Mummy, dont worry I will not die' that that really encouraged her. Even in yoruba 'Mummy, mi o ni ku' and that surprised her that a 2 year old can say this 'what does this girl know'. She comes to the hospital crying, she leaves the hospital late, comes very early to prepare something for me, before 6 she's already in the hospital back, her eyes swollen. She said all through I never cried. Maybe it was the words God heard, to spare my life today

GODSPOWERPROJECT I thank God for my life, I was not given birth to like this. I was given birth to like every normal child with my two legs intact. In fact my Mummy said I started walking at the age of 7 months and I was tiny then. I was sharp and brilliant so she had no choice than to put me in school, not even lesson as was common back then. I started at KG at Ifako International. My Daddy was a banker then, Mum sells things. My mum will go to Mile2 or 12 market and buy foodstuff to put in the shop and sell. Our shop is not far from the house so we were always ahome with the house help. On this fateful day I went to school like normal, there was nothing that happened to me, the househelp set food for us, me and my elder brother. I ate, she bathed me and I slept. Broad day afternoon, only for my mummy to come back in the evening and noticed I was sitting and didnt stand up, when on a normal day If she comes back we'd go and welcome her 'Mummy welcome'. She said she called me I answered her, but I was just seated on the chair. She now called the maid that what's wrong with this girl and if she gave me food and the maid replied that 'she just came woke up from sleep and she has eaten'. My mummy was now like 'Bimpe come', that was it, I couldn't stand or move my legs. At first she said she thought it was this childish stuff. She now told me that she noticed I couldn't carry one of my legs. My left leg,Ahah, she was like, no oo. 'Omo ti mo prepare lo si school'. Then she called the maid and began to question the maid who insisted nothing was wrong with me since I came back. Like play like play I Spent 2 years in the hospital. GODSPOWERPROJECT The year has been a productive one, based on the fact that looking at the past 1 or 2 years ago, from the lockdown where we had covid till last year has been challenging for entertainers and the comedy industry. And entertainment industry as a whole. Thank God that this year 2022 has been a good one, you know easing the lockdown, lifting the ban on events, it has been a good one, fruitful year, going to events, living your normal life. So it has been a good year for us as entertainers because we have started doing our day to day jobs, going to clubs. Church ministrations. Every other thing, there's no more social distancing and its likes. For entertainment it has been a good one and for real estate it has really been another good one. People have started coming out to purchase properties, those that are renting are renting. Those that are relocating are relocating. Business wise it has really been a good one for us. It has been a testimony from Bumper to Bumper, this year alone we've been able to work with a lot of like minds. Senior colleagues and interesting stuffs. For the record, we just finished Mic of the Beast with MC Passion Live. It has been a challenging event but it has been a great platform we work together, singling me out. I mean working with them has been a great one for me. We have a lot of testimonies, those we can count and those we can not count. the challenges of losing loved ones and we are still alive, trying to meet up with the standard of life. By the grace of God nobody is holding us that we are owing them money. So we are living fine, that enough is another testimony on it's own. So to us, we have one or two reasons to always thank God. ..... My political discourse with 2009 Course mate in Department of Political Science, University of Ibadan, Nigeria. By:Fashina Shakiru Twitter:@Omofash1 In the history of electioneering in this country, this year takes a different dimension but before proceeding, let me start by saying this, Nigerians will not import their leaders from China, North Korea, USA, UK or Germany, but Nigerians must ensure to put the right person in the right hole for better and rewarding nation. It is a known fact that, our political consciousness is growing gradually to start picking or choosing the class of political ideologist like Awolowo of the pass to the present Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Azikiwe of yesteryears to present Peter Obi and Aminu of Kano to Adamawa Waziri, Atiku Abubakar. These are/were men of contemporary political philosopher kings of our time and men of great ideas and ideologies. In the foregoing political discourse across the nation and within this political platform of scholars, I know that many will quite agree with me that moneybag politics takes a centre stage in Nigerian politics. In a multiple enthnic society like ours that's at the blink of collapse, is Muslim-muslim a way forward? In the evolution of Nigerian politics, money bag politics is a thing of concern which can't be over emphasized. In the First, Second Republic secretly were cash and gifts were exchanged for political influence. But in the Fourth Republic cash and gifts are exchanged in the open for political influence. Meanwhile, as Nigeria's political system is developing from time to time, institutions continue are strengthen to lay down rules and regulations for political conduct– how the parties and the candidates should be behave. Sure this will reduce the political jaboore. In my second analysis is the Muslim-Muslim ticket as who get what, when and how to elective position. I am certain, this will be determined by the electorates. But I what I want to prove and put forward is that, the argument of Muslim-Muslim ticket was experienced in 1993 during the election of late Chief MKO Abiola and Baba Gana Kingibe both were Muslims at a point where our political dynamic are highly sophisticated and religious. I want to put forward in rounding that, the Muslim-Muslim ticket should not be the basis our discourse because we have men of great intellectual thinkers vying for the presidency seat come 2023. The duo married Christians (Tinubu and Atiku). This alone shows that they are men without religious sentiment. What we should be looking at as graduate of politics is, CV, political experience, strength of reengineering unity of Nigeria, Nigerian prosperity, economic recovery, industrial revolution, job, tackle insecurity and many more. In my review of their agendas for the Nation, I'll advise everyone to check their parties' manifestos. A graduate of politics turned multiple media journalist, here continue to educate and expose my former colleagues and redefine your interest that in Muslim-Muslim ticket there is mirage of hope for our dear Nation, Nigeria. Among these aforementioned, we have one of them that can make this country great again. I may understand, the notion that with current state of security and agitation, the three flag bearers from different political parties; APC, PDP and LP will surely strike the balance search for a Christian running mate. Genesis Global, Prophet Israel Oladele Celebrates Children's Harvest 2022 ...Visits Ijamido Orphanage Otta to commemorate Harvest ...Receives ECAPI Award in conjunction with Nigerian Police Force, Zone 2. It was an atmosphere agog with joy and unending happiness as Genesis Global celebrated the Children's Harvest 2022 w inside the Church Auditorium of the headquarters of Genesis Global situated at Duro Isola street off Dalemo Alakuko Lagos State. According to the church PRO, Mr.Gbolahan ,who spoke with Genesis' media aide, Oluwaseun Fabiyi, the event is an annual special programme and this year's edition was celebrated in a different dimension as Prophet Israel Genesis visited the popular Ijamido orphanage in Otta, to which he is grand patron, to contributing his quota as the staunch philanthropist he is, as well as to render special humanitarian aid which is part of his calling. It would also interest you to know that during the course of his visit, the exceptional man of God did it again as usual by raising a huge amount for the Ijamido Orphanage through the aid of benevolent church members who made mobile transfers of money directly into the orphanage’s account, and as if that wasn't enough, a respected local policing and security outfit known as ECAPI, in conjunction with the Nigeria Police Force, Zone 2 Police Command Headquarters, Onikan, Lagos, officially presented an award to the man of God, for his sterling qualities and benevolence. Despite having received numerous awards in the past, the philanthropist extra-ordinaire and resourceful man of God confessed that the award was particularly special to him while delivering his thank you speech. He thanked the organizers of the award, prayed for the Orphanage and pledged never to let them down as he would continually support them in kind and cash because in doing this, he is always reminded of his humble beginnings and what he went through in life. He ruminated on his past and the challenges faced while under his parents, regardless of children who don’t have parents to look after them, and who depend on the generousity of kind-hearted people to feed and be clad. Recounting all these, he promised never to leave the children in the lurch, come rain, come shine. To cap it all, he specially greeted all parents in the church whose children are celebrating the 2022 harvest for their unflinching, annual support in making those children of God feel happy. In conclusion, he prayed that God will always bless, increase and replenish their pockets/purses.

GODSPOWERPROJECT-TV Genesis Global Opens Another Inter-denominational Parish. ...As Grace Prophet, Israel Oladele Ogundipe, Extends Gospel To Ikeja. "The true gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ must be heard throughout the whole world." The words above were uttered by popular televangelist, Israel Ogundipe, founder of Genesis Global Ministries, who said this in reference to the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, as addressed to his disciples, when he told them they should all go into the world and preach the gospel. "We are emulating this by spreading the tentacles of the ministry/evangelism to the people of Ikeja as another Genesis Global interdenominational church would be opening Sunday, 12th June, 2022, at plot 6 Lateef Jakande Road Agidingbi, Opposite Chicken Republic, Ikeja. " While addressing journalists, the small but mighty man of God promised to shake the land of Ikeja and its environs, but the Church activity would still be limited to an evening service for the time being, and which is proposed to commence as from 4pm-6pm every Sunday. Speaking further, he revealed that he has been praying fervently for the mighty hands of God to fall upon everyone that would be in attendance every Sunday, reasserting as well that the branch would be an interdenominational and not only white garment-wearing parish. Also, the man of God expressed his feelings of complete love for, and devotion to the gospel of Jesus Christ, saying when it comes to the gospel of God and establishment of Genesis Global, he would never discriminate because he observed in the ministry of Jesus Christ that he disengaged himself from his people, as he accommodated all. Come Sunday June 12th 2022, all Christian roads would lead to Ikeja where popular gospel artistes would fully be on ground as from 4pm, to exalt the living God in praises and worship with their sonorous voices. On a final note, the great man of God promised that as many that attend the church programme will never return home without encountering the Jesus that would make their lives change positively forever

I thank God for my business, selling fruits is good business and never out of season. When banana season is gone, pineapple season is in vogue. When pineapple is not available, another comes in. At the moment, Agbalumo (cherry) is out, pear will follow, others keep following. Coconut and the others have their season. When you are a fruits vendor, you'll be working them gradually till everything gels. I've used money from selling fruits to do good things, to send my children abroad and to the university. It is a very good business, only thing left is to buy a land and build my house. Our forefathers have this proverb that whoever is sending a child to school is also building a house, and understandably can't build two houses at the same time. If a person builds a house without training his child, it is the child that will sell the house. I own my shop because my husband owns the house and that's why I'm praying to build mine.

GODSPOWERPROJECT Oki Samson As encomium continues to pour in, the Chairman of Executive Group and Member of Board of Trustees, Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) and Caleb University, Dr Ayo Ogunsan, has hailed the Founder and General Superintendent of Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor William Folorunso Kumuyi, on his 81st birthday. The educationist, entrepreneur cum public servant, in a press statement issued recently, described the octogenarian as “a man with a coat of my colours too dynamic to express in mere words.” His words: “Baba is more than a spiritual father. He is also my adviser, mentor and leader; a God-sent to me, in actual fact and if I must not mince words. I can jolly well label him as a man with a coat of my colours too dynamic to express in mere words. Words will fail me, still. “One soon wonders if baba, at 81, is ever getting older because he is still as agile as a youth. At such age, baba still tours the length and breath of Nigeria and the rest of the world for evangelistic outreaches targeted at leading as many sinners to Calvary, through miracle crusades backed by God with numerous testimonies and signs following. “I salute the man of God who led me to God when I was just a wretched sinner without any direction for destiny in life. I am glad that baba was instrumental to the salvation of my soul, on that fateful day, dated November 24, 1990. I dare not forget. “A pastor, evangelist, author of tens of books and a former lecturer of Mathematics at the University of Lagos; I have always known Pastor Kumuyi as a big dreamer who then makes himself readily available to God for use. Now only a handful of his type exists on earth. “On behalf of my entire family and the entire management of Executive Group, let me heartily say happy birthday to a highly influential man of global standards, who possesses an unflinching desire for holy living and soul winning. May God continue to enlarge you on every side, daddy. We love you!” Born on June 6, 1941, Pastor William Folorunso Kumuyi hails from Erin-Ijesha, Osun State.

Oki Samson www.trekafrica.net The Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) has held a one-day senior management meeting with the International Organization for Migration (IOM), development partners, the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) and Port Health Services as part of efforts to flag off the second phase of NIS Training Strategy Implementation Programme (TSI). A statement signed by the Service's Public Relations Officer, Assistant Comptroller of Immigration, Amos Okpu, and made available to National Association of Online Security News Publishers (NAOSNP), stated that the Training Strategy Implementation programme is one of the IOM supported capacity building activities targeted at border and migration management agencies in Nigeria. It is aimed at improving the knowledge and operational capacities of our Personnel and those of other relevant agencies including NAPTIP and Port Health Officials in managing the unfolding migratory realities. The first phase of the programme implementation which spanned the period of 2017-2019 afforded participating agencies the opportunity to deepen interagency collaboration, understanding and synergy in contending with the issues of migrant smuggling and trafficking. It was during the period that IOM in collaboration with the Service established seven Personnel Training Resource Centres (PTRCs) in locations across the country such as the Service Headquarters in Abuja, Kano, Cross River, Lagos, Kebbi, Ondo and Anambra States. The PTRCs locations are online-based study facilities that have allowed some of our Personnel the opportunity to upscale their skills on modern Border security efforts and migration management. A total of 2606 Personnel of the Service and 190 Officials from NAPTIP have so far benefitted from training interventions at the Centres. Meanwhile, the government of Netherlands has indicated interests to support the second phase of the Training Strategy Implementation programme for the period 2021-2023. Activities for the period shall include upgrade of the existing training curriculum/trainer’s guide and learning management system. Speaking at the event, the acting Comptroller General, Isah Jere Idris, who was represented by the Deputy Comptroller General in-charge of Visa and Residency Directorate, Ishaka Abdulmumini Haliru, described the PTRCs and interventions from the IOM as essential catalysts for skills upgrades for Officers and Men as well as an avenue for interagency collaboration and partnership among frontline agencies like the NIS, NAPTIP and the Department of Port Health Services. “The opportunity provided by the joint training efforts from IOM has been of tremendous help in building and sustaining the much needed synergy between the two agencies charged with migrants smuggling and trafficking in persons in Nigeria”, he continued. He further tasked Command Comptrollers to add value to the Personnel Training Centres by way of instituting sound maintenance culture to preserve the existing infrastructure and learning materials across the Centres. In her remarks, the Director General of NAPTIP, Dr. Fatima Waziri-Azi, stated that IOM has consistently supported programmes that enhance capacity of frontline operatives. She called on respective agencies to leverage on the contributions of donor agencies and improve on what has been put in place in their organizations. She further called on both NIS and NAPTIP to continue complementing each other in the fight against migrant smuggling and trafficking. The Brutal Mugging And Judas/Fulanis Robbery In Fagba Is Getting To A Heightened And Disturbing Rate. ~By Oluwaseun Trust Bethnews media This is to officially draw the attention of Lagos State Government, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Ifako Ijaiye Local Government chairman, Usman Hamsat and Area Commander, Area G Police Station, Commander Zungura who covers Ifako Ijaiye axis, I would like to use this medium to pass this privileged information as Lagos/Lagosian already sitting on a keg of gun powder. The present situation of Fagba axis is no longer save and unbearable as several people had related their experiences while I witnessed this about 9:30pm yesterday, Thursday June 2, 2022 right between daddy savage junction and Fagba bus stop. People were mugged with impunity; while Red House police vehicle/van usually stationed before now, in savry but suddenly nowhere to be found! Even if those policemen were sighted, surely, they were only stationed for something different entirely, whether to extort the motorists or traffic offenders either of the two basis, I have my point on the allegations because it has severally happened in my presence which I even took extorting pictures of the scene. Recently I have seen a scenario whereby a small boy amongst those truck pushers snatched a phone from a passenger seated Inside Keke Napep (Tricycle) while on traffic of about 30 seconds in the presence of those policemen we all saw him while he ran towards rail-line Abattoir axis These were Hausa boys we saw and mostly teenagers who eventually ran across the market/ rail line to the abattoir. During our 7:00am vox Pop another victim recalled "my wife witnessed one around 6am sometimes back between Oparo and zenith bank her colleague was fast to quickly enter the car after using the atm. They used a cutlass to attack their victim who was on his way to work, blood dripping from him he was shouting ole, while those Hausas attackers too was shouting ole(thief) and running too just at fagba bus stop while it was raining at 6.30am on that Saturday some pole were robbed". It's obvious something urgent needs to be done as fast as possible. My major concern is those Hausas/Fulanis teenagers that always gathered themselves at Fagba junction on daily basis doing nothing, similar cases has been reported by this medium in the year past during the era of former Ifako Ijaiye Local government, Apostle OlorunToba Oke who singlehandedly warned and addressed those guys to desist from their evil perpetrators/act else they will face the wrath of the State government, this was Toba Oke's words then. Guess we will recalled what happened during endsars protest? We saw how those guys went out midnight to set many houses/shops ablaze which nothing was done till date. Now the same ugly scenario is about to resurface again. I wish our political rulers, Lagos state government could adhered towards this popular saying "A stich in time is just for the wise"! Kindly help share this concern to reach Lagos State Government or those who can stem this situation.
