To God be all the glory, as a Christmas fantasy came alive, during a 6 hours with God concert hosted by valiant friends of Christ within the CRWERA community in Lagos, featuring diverse groups of Christian talents, especially Gospel Vibes crooner, Evangelist Tope Alabi. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DNQ5riLZP9A Chief Rotimi Williams Estate Residents Association (CRWERA), realized a family fantasy during its maiden edition of Christmas Carol and Praise Night, tagged "6 hours with God" which took place on Monday, December 13- complete with Bible readings, solo performances, group and mass choir presentations, including words of exhortation, and prayers for the nation. A highly esteemed resident who spoke with journalists concerning the planning and execution of the mega affair stated that the Estate's executives under the chairmanship of Pastor Seyi Adeyemi decided to put together a first of its kind Christmas Carol and Praise Night, "for unity and bonding of residents regardless of ethnic and religious background, and to appreciate God for His mercies, grace and love over every resident, especially during the pandemic. Also seeking His face for good tidings, protection, peace and abundance in Nigeria towards the coming year". Seven Church Choirs, including that of Rhema Chapel, Winners Chapel, RCCG, MFM, Catholic of Don Bosco, Jesus Liberation Ministry and The Worship Center were invited to perform at the Carol of Nine Lessons, that was well attended by over five thousand people, including residents and non residents of the estate. Renowned gospel singer, Evangelist Tope Alabi of the Gospel Vibes was on ground as the Guest Minister. A committee headed by Mr Omololu Akinwande was set up to plan and actualise the vision. According to the Planning Committee Chairman, the main message of the event is that, in all situations and condition we may find ourselves, we should always give thanks. Having reasons to appreciate God regardless of what we are going through as an individual, people and as a nation, is one of the key channels God's blessing and abundance." In an interview with Pastor (Dr.) Benard Omoyeni at the event, he stated that It's awesome to behold this atmosphere of God's presence triggered by high praises. We are here to return all the glory to God for His faithfulness and mercy all through the year 2021. This Christmas season offers unique opportunity to appreciate God for the gift of His son Jesus Christ and His wonderful works. I have no doubt that this event will ursher in landmark peace and progress in Kayfarm Estate in the years ahead. "Turnout of people enmass inspite of the National mood is a pointer to the fact that Nigerians still believe that all will be well." Dr. Benard Omoyeni added. Heralded by Olatunbosun Tolu as Master of Ceremony, live performances began by 4pm, and held on stage till 10pm, at the KayFarm football pitch, located just within walking distance of the main gate, as the whole affair was open to all fun seeking families and more importantly, friends of Christ. "Its exciting to be in such an atmosphere, I love being in God's presence, especially when it comes to praising and worshipping Him. I can dance all night. Not to mention the inspiring performances of the music ministers, and Tope Alabi in the building, as long as they can sing all night, I will dance all night" said Julius Omotayo, an evangelist and representative of an invited ministry Chief Fredrick Rotimi Williams Estate(Kay Farms) is a residential community with over two thousand inhabitants, home to several affluent families, and illustrious establishments, including schools, hotels and businesses. I went to fetch water to bath, when I observed my landlord's turkeys messing around. Seeing as two turkeys were attacking each other, and two others just kept pecking the ground with their beaks. Then my landlord's wife threw a handful of corn at them. The fighting duo deliberately kept fighting or ignorantly unaware of the day's supply of feed, while the grazing two rushed at the corn and ate it all. And something peculiar suddenly hit me The opposing turkeys represents life's challenges, and regardless of the religion or spiritual inclinations, everyday alive, we face issues that force questions like "my God, what's this, help me", or "my Lord where do I go from here". But if we really pay attention to our lives, we find out that, just like the handful spray of corn- God has sent our daily benefits, and those worrisome things fizzle out in no time and we are onto the next one. The grazing two represent those who stay focused on the prize and not easily distracted Has there been any point, you were so amazed and grateful to God for a testimony in your life, that you asked geniunely asked "my God, what can I do for you today". Moral of this short encounter is, just like my landlady has been nurturing the giant turkeys for months so as to be eaten by her family or sold during xmas festivities, we humans in turn, have a Living, benevolent and miracle working God who loads us with daily benefits, not fattening us up to be killed, instead for eternal life in His kingdom. Matthew 9; 37, helps us to understand that, the harvest is ripe, but laborers are few; and its imperative to note that God takes great care of His own, even though tribulations and persecutions may arise. If the turkeys could assist with chores around the house, or simply offer more than just being sweet meat, my landlady might probably find reason to keep them alive after Christmas. Ephesians 6, especially verse 18 shows a loving Father that accepts His children when they come to Him. So, If you are already familiar with the slogan "God no go shame us", now its time to adjust yourself to "Make we self no shame our God" So examine yourself today, thank our Father well for his breath of life, love, grace and mercy, before asking, "God, what can I do for you today"

Unseen Rare Owl Makes First Public Appearance in 150 years (photos)- IFLSCIENCE. The Shelley’s eagle owl (Bubo shelleyi) swooped back into the public eye after a 150-year hiatus, making its long-awaited reappearance in Ghana. The species, dubbed the “holy grail” of giant owls, has evidently been lurking in the shadows of African rainforests for the last 150 years, having not been formally sighted since the 1870s. Though large, these birds are well camouflaged for arboreal life and so it would still have been easy to miss. Thankfully, this particular individual didn’t go unnoticed by Dr Joseph Tobias from the Department of Life Sciences at Imperial College London, and freelance ecologist Dr Robert Williams, who managed to secure a fitting profile shot. “It was so large, at first we thought it was an eagle,” Dr Tobias said in a statement. “Luckily it perched on a low branch and when we lifted our binoculars our jaws dropped. There is no other owl in Africa’s rainforests that big." The photo was able to confirm the Shelley’s eagle owl’s identity owing to the bird exhibiting its characteristic features, which include distinctive black eyes, a yellow bill, and its enormous size. The species is currently considered to be vulnerable to extinction, with its key threats including habitat degradation due to human activity. With a population that’s estimated to sit at just a few thousand members, conservationists hope the owl’s latest appearance will motivate fresh efforts to save the species. www.eiawithbenard.com- Wikipedia Tropical Cyclone Sidr was one of the worst natural disasters to hit Bangladesh, a south Asian country on the east of India. The storm made landfall in the country on Nov. 15, 2007, prompting large-scale evacuations. When Sidr hit, Bangladesh was hammered by peak 1-minute sustained winds of 260 km/h (160 m.p.h.), making it a Category-5. Coastal districts of Bangladesh faced soaking rains ahead of the actual impact of the cyclone. While the storm surge reached a height of three metres (9.8 feet) in most places, the larger cities of Patuakhali, Barguna and Jhalokati District experienced a surge exceeding five metres (16 ft). Since the storm surge is most deadly and destructive along coastal areas, it triggered panic in the massive fishing community. More than 3,000 fishermen were reported missing from 500 fishing boats. The local agricultural industry was also devastated, as many rice crops were totally wiped out. The total dollar losses reached an estimated equivalent to US$2.31 billion. And at least 3,447 deaths have been blamed directly on the storm, with some estimates reaching 15,000. God bless their union. Did you know this about the Burj Khalifa? https://www.nairaland.com/6851677/fun-fact-burj-khalifas-toilet

www.eiawithbenard.com- Listverse Did you know poop from the Burj Khalifa is trucked out? One would think that the world’s tallest building – a structure that requires amazingly complex engineering and technology to reach its heights – would have an equally impressive sewage system. Unfortunately, that’s not the case with the Burj Khalifa, because it isn’t hooked up to a municipal wastewater treatment system – so when people excrete in the Burj Khalifa, that waste is actually transported out of the city. More like trucked out of the city! Its quite flabbergasting to behold the inefficiency of such a complex system. One of the world’s most advanced buildings relies on such an arcane method to transport wastewater to a treatment facility outside of town. So bear in mind, if you happen to visit and use the Burj Khalifa’s restroom, someone would have to collect your poop and drive it out of Dubai. www.eiawithbenard.com Environmental Impact Assessment- Principles and Application of Environmental Impact Assessment The environment, as being expressed by media coverage has become a topical issue of significance to humanity. This is obviously due to the need to address the challenges posed by the deterioration of human environment.
