Only foolish people will choose to sign away their lives in the name of seeking power. What does it profit a man to temporarily gain the world and lose his soul? Many never accomplish anything in the process. They just live to fight and die.

I don't get it! Perhaps I'm naive.

The question is ...Will Bayo Oriola have performed as well as Yemi Oshinbajo in those trying times we had in Lagos?

I choose to believe that God made his appointment possible for a purpose which was achieved. Much of the development we see in place in the Judicial system in Lagos is due to his efforts. That was indeed the best choice for BAT and Lagos at that point in time.

Do I support his decision to contest against BAT? The truth is that we don't have an indepth knowledge of how and why he chose to do so. Sometimes, only a complete story viewed from all angles throws sufficient light into an occurrence. We can debate only on what we know.

Okada, has made Nigerians lazy.
Today, skill acquisition is now an aberration for young men! They are either riding okada/keke or doing Yahoo!
What a country!!!

Right on point! Our youth need to develop useful skills instead of all these get rich quick schemes which are unsustainable. We keep bringing in artisans from Togo et al.

By the way, walking is a good form of exercise. We used to walk to the bus stops years back like it's done abroad.

Please remember that she has run her race and gone to rest. It's time to move on. Consider her wishes for you. If you stay in the mourning mood for too long, it will be difficult to move forward and fulfill your life goals/purpose here on earth. Your mum will wish that you succeed. Have that at the back of your mind.

May God give you a partner who will walk with you through life's storms, and make you smile joyfully again.

Well, people are getting killed here en masse daily too. There's BH, ISWAP, bandits, ritualists, organ harvesters, touts et al. There are few very safe places in the world today.

However, Americans need to review their gun laws soonest. It's becoming ridiculous the rate at which youngsters get guns and kill people for no reason.
