They wanted a confrontation, they wanted a major crisis in the creeks, they wanted the country to be grounded to a halt, the wished and prayed in their foolishness for the country to be ungovernable for Buhari... But this decision by Buhari has brought them much sorrow.

Unfortunately he did say this during a Q&A in the US yesterday. Asked by a white journalist how he intended to deal with issues in the Niger Delta, particularly Amnesty, bunkering and inclusive development, president Buhari said;

"(Going by election results), constituencies that gave me 97% can not in all honesty be treated, on some issues, with constituencies that gave me 5%. I think these are political realities. While, certainly there will be justice for everybody but the people who voted, and made their votes count, they must feel the government has appreciated the effort they put in putting the government in place. why Ar people just writing rubbish and nonsense nowadays on nairaland. I watched d 7pm news at channels, they didn't even show d side at which Buhari speaks, it was Obama's side that was shown. Then 10pm news on channels again, the two sides were shown and at no time did Buhari even mention APC or d nonsense u claim He said, He only mentioned "our party" and dats in regard to the party major things to tackle security, economy and corruption... Pls let's stop all dis nonsense attitude

A mere radio station by one guy has more advanced technology than a whole country's government.

Funny enough this same country always chest beating of having the suprieor weapons to defeat Biafra.

Apparently, rapper Jidenna is not the only person who found it necessary to head to his village with heavy armed men.
Nollywood actor and businessman, Jim Iyke is in the same league. The actor who is often referred to as Nollywood bad boy took along with him a armed police as he heads to the village for a non business pursuit.
Jidenna has come under heavy criticism for his act and has since written an open letter

A waste is smtin that has no use. Land mine contain shrapnail which can fly 360 to cover substantial space. E.g half a field. I feel sad for young South East and South Southerners who put their lives on the line for a "country" that has refused to negotiate a better political future for their people. Who would remember him 50 years today for having fought for a dying arrangement like Nigeria? If this Ijaw young man had died fighting for Ijaw cause, he, like Boro and others will continue to be remembered even 20,000 years today.

What a short sightedness! Well, RIP
