@Mrs lastpage. I talk say this whole story get as e be.
But then Mrs lastpage why did you have to wholly assume the identity of this your supposedly school daughter even to the extent of saying you had a very rough childhood? Like hawking on the street since the age of 10 years and all that. Was that necessary?
I don't understand why two very intelligent husband/wife will chose to use one profile on nairaland or is seun now selling profile creation too? I thought it's free.
You have really messed up your 'husband' reputation here o. I hope we will come to know the whole truth one day but for now the doubt still prevail.
NL1960: Hajji, do not lock the thread. Iam reading some good and great exposures here that i never knew was happening in this property section. Sometimes, it is good to quarrel as it brings out information you never thought of.
Your head dey there! Why should this thread be locked? Why??
These are good information that we are getting mehn!!. At least Brabus can be rest assured that all these people screaming fraudster! fraudster!! Can also be fraudulent when it suits them.
How can the masquerade man open a thread to destroy Brabus just because of small criticism of his build only to ask the same fraudster for construction information using a different handle. Shame!!!!
I can't see egungun show his face here again.
Are we sure AZUH is not an alternate handle for one of these guys too?
ypeace: Keep calm and reread my post...... we are on the same page.
Una say Muslim women don't change their names after marriage. Is Babangida, Abacha and even Buhari not Muslims? If I remember very well, their wives use their surnames and not the maiden names
If Jesus Christ should come back as an Igbo man, 99.99% of Yorubas will go to hell fire because they will never believe in him including those gods of men
4nobody4every1: Can you be more civil in your choice of words?. l suggested the thread should be cleaned up off all insults, lock it for the time been if possible to calm all the warring parties down, sanction those who are not ready to be civil if possible, mind your choice / use of words, nobody dey craze, respect is reciprocal, l have called for truce / peace ever since they all started insulting each other, you can scroll back if you care to read where l advised all the parties involved to sheath there sword and if the only way to restore peace temporarily is to lock the thread or ban some members so be it
So sorry for my choice of word. I will change it now. I was just having fun that's all
I'm really enjoying this thread o. Who is that asking that this thread be closed? You no dey like a little bit of fun? that is just what e-fights are, entertainment.
Agarawu is the Nairaland version of Hugh Hefner. See babes
Nobody get monolopy of insults and yabis. I just hope agbá will learn to behave like agbá while ómodè go learn to respect themselves.
@hajj Mufutau, RESPECT sir.
It does not matter where you live so long as you are happy. Dangote lives in Nigeria wey all of us dey run comot from. Just make the best of the opportunities as they present themselves.
As long as you are not cheating and stealing it's OK.
whirlwind7: I understand where you are coming from, bro.
Do you know why till this day, a nationwide revolution has not begun? It is simply because Nigeria is not a united country. We are not one, and we have never been one. I don't see it happening, EVER. Once a section of the country feels they are being shortchanged, all the government needs to do is appoint someone from that region into a certain position, and what happens next is, the people will say, "well, one of us has been appointed. Let's wait and see how things go. Maybe the government has remembered us afterall" This happens consistently. It all boils down to tribalism along with it's varying interests. Now that we feel that the FG is appointing mostly Northerners, majority of the south complains. Once a prominent position is given to, say, someone from the SS, that region keeps quiet a bit. AS IF SUCH AN APPOINTMENT EVEN MEANS ANYTHING TO THE COMMON MAN IN THAT REGION!
It's not totally an issue of cowardice. No Igbo man will rise up in protest over a Yoruba village that gets ransacked by Fulani herdsmen. No Yoruba politician will lose sleep if Boko Haram suddenly wipes off an entire LGA in Damaturu. No Hausa man will lose his appetite if a sudden epidemic wipes off half the population of a rural community in the Niger Delta.
It's the same reason why, when a politician is being investigated for corruption, his kinsmen will rise up in protest, and call it witch hunting It's also the reason why, every politician in power is like "I need to loot as much as I can lay my hands on right now". Knowing that it is a temporary position, without much accountability.
Bottom line, no tribe or groups of tribe is ready to lose his life over a country that most of us feel no allegiance or loyalty to. Will you, for instance, accept to lead a ragtag mob that decides to march to Aso Rock tomorrow morning? of course, you'd first ask yourself if you are the most affected from the hardship ravaging the country. The very first factor that ensures a successful revolution is UNITY. Once everyone is unified in their political conviction and decide on achieving the same goal, then a revolution might just be looming. Go read up the history of countries that had a successful revolution. A united front was the common and overwhelming factor. As it is now, in Nigeria, it is every man for himself.
A little comic relief. I sure say Egunmogaji will be able to identify with this being the baalé of Ibadan.

Thanks for the clarification. I have always wrongly assumed that you did everything from substructure to roofing, plumbing, electrical, tiling etc yourself whenever you say that you have built houses through DIY in the States.
EgunMogaji: I was the GC but did work on things that I had the time and inclination for, such as tiling, audio/video wiring, etc
My county code required a licensed plumber and electrician to tie into the public utilities do that as an example was farmed out. I hire professionals for any phase of work that was economical to farm out. For example I'm not going to pour a slab when there are outfits that specialize just on that.
I'm using the same practice that works for me in Nigeria except I'm more hands off in a physical sense. As stated before, Nigeria is nothing but a vacation/retirement destination for me so I'll rather be more hands off but still looking at the big picture.
Here's YT video of a couple building their house in Australia.
On a lighter mood.... .. .. Driver Abu is being interrogated after an accident … Policeman: So, Abu how did you end up killing 49 people? Abu: I was driving @80km/h when I suddenly saw 2 men crossing the road and on the other side, a wedding was taking place. I hit the brakes but they failed, so I had to make a choice: Either I hit the 2 men or run into the wedding party. Policeman: Hit the 2 men of course! Abu: exactly! We think alike, but after hitting one of them, the other man escaped into the wedding party, so I went after him.. .
