PoliticsRe: Independence Was A Mistake? by denex: 2:47pm On Jul 08, 2007
@dafur

if the british were still here, there would be good roads and good railway systems but the roads and the rails would only run from where raw materials are mined to the ports from which they would be shipped out of the country. You think a Benin-Ore road would even exist? Do they care if you want to visit your friends.

There would be good schools but they would only teach us how to farm groundnuts, palm trees, cocoa and rubber. Then maybe diploma courses on how to mine coal and drill for oil. You think they would teach you International Studies and Diplomacy? I'm even sure there would have been a course like Manual Labour and Servitude. Think of it. MLS 101.

There would have been a very large worldclass airport in Kano for airlifting groundnuts and leather. Because it would be time consuming and a waste of fund to first transport them by rail to the ports before shipping. There would be no local airports only heliports. For transporting british expatriates from one work site to another. Any native who as much as touches the tail blade of a helicopter would be shot dead on the spot.

However, where I don't agree with you my dear dafur, is where you said there would be democracy. There cannot be democracy in a colonial rule. Maybe you should go back in history and check. Did we really vote in Lord Lugard? Did he distribute campaign posters or erect billboards? No my brother, there will be no democracy!

PoliticsRe: Dress Code Of Nigerian Policians: A Disgrace by denex: 9:01am On Jul 08, 2007
Obasanjo wore traditional clothing to all formal international meetings he attended. And almost everywhere he went, world leaders agreed with him. It's a matter of style. Can you imagine how clownish OBJ would have looked in suit? How would he have discussed reasonable deals with China if they had been giggling about his appearance all through the meeting?

I would love to see Yar'Adua in a suit at least once in a year. He'd look so good and people will be excited to see him looking different.

I used to know a really beautiful girl once in school. But after like 3 months, guys started to realise she only wore trousers and we began to suspect that she had really ugly legs. Well, one day she showed up in a mini-skirt and blew us all away. That's what I see as style.

So Yar'Adua shouldn't necessarily give up the suit option totally. It'll really look good on him. Afterall, I've seen him in a T-shirt and shorts.
PoliticsRe: The US Versus OPEC by denex: 8:34am On Jul 08, 2007
@davidylan

Never applied. Used to love the US when it was still moderate. Since Bush took over the White House, the level of extremism has become alarming.

The man Bush has turned America into what nobody ever envisaged. From rigging elections to economic collapse. Go check economic figures between Bush's seizure of the White House and September 11. Fed the American people with blatant fallacies, massively cut down on the rights of people in the US. He even sought to move the last elections from November.

The man is a dictator! Did you see him free Scooter Libby? Can you see what his vice President is doing. Shutting down agencies that are meant to oversee and scrutinize his actions.

Now Cheney has even claimed that he is not part of the executive arm of government. These people are radicals. A vice president who claims not to be part of the executive arm of government.

I know George Bush is not in support of the NOPEC. But he is only doing that for his and Cheney's personal oil interests and benefits. You think George Bush is not happy with the rise in price of Crude Oil? In a statement months ago when asked what could be done as Oil prices were heading towards $70, he said things would stabilize naturally. George Bush in support of a free market? A man who is not even in support of a free world.

The damage that the Bush regime is causing in the US will take more than 10 years to recover. It's really annoying that one man can make useless of 18 years of the lives of 300 million people.
PoliticsRe: MEND, NDVF, And The Rest Of Them Are Mere Criminals by denex: 7:50am On Jul 08, 2007
@dblock

you got it all wrong. It is the NDPVF that is not too bad. MEND was the first group to approve of kidnappings before other smaller gangs took advantage of the window opened by MEND.

So it is actually the MEND and groups formed under the ideology of MEND. Which ideology is KIDNAP!
PoliticsRe: Three Year Old Girl Kidnapped In Nigeria by denex: 7:42am On Jul 08, 2007
I think it is the lower cuteness quotient. So this is what you guys want to do now? Divert attention to whether the girl is beautiful or not?

The British girl in Spain went missing. MISSING!!! It was just a suspicion that she might have been kidnapped.

Missing people have to have their pictures on handbills, posters, milk cartons, newspapers and television because the missing person could be lost somewhere, wandering around.

However, in a case of certain kidnap, publishing the picture hardly has any relevance because the kidnappers have taken the hostage to a highly secluded area where no innocent passerby will be able to identify her. And then again, the kidnappers have already made themselves and their conditions known. So what role is a publicised photograph going to play in this dilemma.

What is required right now is to pay the ransom on the girl, then give all legal residents in the Niger-Delta Creek areas 2 weeks to evacuate. Then unleash terror on all members and supporters of MEND, NDPVF and every other associated body. The fact that MEND is offering to help makes them no less a suspect. Any armed terrorist found during this operation should be shot on sight. TAKE NO PRISONERS.
PoliticsRe: The US Versus OPEC by denex: 12:11am On Jul 08, 2007
"The US has the right to fight OPEC" I said it that these people will come and they will prove that the US even has the right to Nuke Nigeria if it does not provide its oil needs.

The greencard seekers will not stop. They say that OPEC has the right to protect its members interests but they are not saying US too has the right to protect its own interests. They say US has the right to fight OPEC.
RomanceRe: [poll] Would You Prefer to Marry a Virgin? by denex: 12:00am On Jul 08, 2007
I just see virgins and women with tiny breasts the same way I see my little niece. It is not possible for me to picture them sexually.

I've ever stopped half way while asking a really beautiful girl out just because I heard she was a virgin. And I have a disgusting picture of the disvirgining process. Abeg I no do.

I want somebody that is tried and tested somebody that can fill my marriage with sexual adventures, not one who would turn my bedroom into a sexual kindergarten.
RomanceRe: Dignity Or Virginity by denex: 11:52pm On Jul 07, 2007
@Esss

disvirgining a woman, is it fun? Is it exciting? Is it better than regular sex?

Perhaps maybe it's also because literally I prefer people to open my mineral for me. I don't see anything exciting in attempting to disvirgin a woman.

I like a woman with sexual prowess and versatility, and I really can't see how a virgin can be that skilled.
RomanceRe: [poll] Would You Prefer to Marry a Virgin? by denex: 11:44pm On Jul 07, 2007

RomanceRe: Dignity Or Virginity by denex: 11:34pm On Jul 07, 2007
This is strange. Is Virginity the opposite of Dignity? Most of us in here are not virgins. Does that mean we have no dignity?

Are virginity and dignity mutually exclusive.

Well, I have never been interested in going out with a virgin and never will I be.

Even the topic defeats itself. dignity or virginity means that if you have dignity, you have no virginity and if you have virginity, you have no dignity.
It doesn't make sense.

Christianity EtcRe: Pastor Chris Oyakilome by denex: 10:58pm On Jul 07, 2007
Pastor Chris wears a shower cap to bathe and a hair-net to bed. How much more vain can a man of God get? I say what others overlook so I will tell it clearly here: VANITY IS A SIN.
A man of God spending hours under a dryer is sinning.

PASTOR CHRIS HAS FOLLOWERS! There may be some few people who listen to Pastor Chris' teaching (whatever that is) and go their way to seek understanding. But 99% of them are followers. I have attended one of his nights of bliss. At the end of the service, when he was leaving the venue, people started to rush desperately to touch his car. These are not just followers, they are worshippers.

The man got a perm, 15% of his male followers got their hair permed. That has nothing to do with learning the word of God, it has nothing to do with following a man of God, this is worship.

And just listen to what they preach. "I know who I am", "The Holy Spirit adds beauty and color to your life". Where are these messages going to take us?
I don't want to add beauty and colour to my life, I want to go to heaven when I die. Then he also goes further to quote Bible verses out of context for his members and they in turn do not bother to read the Bible at all. They read their monthly Rhapsody. Which is full of what Pastor Chris wants it to be full of.

Am tired of these people. Wealth, Enjoyment, Good health, Jobs, is this salvation. How can you forget that it was written: what shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world, yet lose his soul? Why is Chris Oyakhilome's message focused more on how to enjoy life than how to make heaven.

Children of zion, do not go out of your way to subject yourselves to the degradation and humiliation of the agents of Babylon all in the name of enquiry.

Desist from referring to thyselves as BLACK. This is the definition that Babylon has inflicted on the brains of Africans to rob them of their heritage and paint them BLACK.

I have told them about the Bnai Ephraim (yoruba jews) of Ondo, and the Ibo Benei Yisrael, the Ozubulu families of Anambra, descendants of the Zebulun tribe of Zion. I have showed them that all these tribes including those of the Malian, Ethiopian and Sudanese Jews who made up the ORIGINAL SEMITIC EMIGRATION FROM AFRICA.

Yet they choose to believe the Babylonians who have invaded the land of Jerusalem and are laying claim on our heritage. The Europeans who have copied our religions and tried for centuries to dreadlock their hair are now passing themselves off as us, meanwhile our people are here asking ridiculous questions and trying to mock us.

RomanceRe: My Girl Gave Me Red Card Cos I Can't Pronounce Her Name by denex: 1:19pm On Jul 07, 2007
No matter how sincerely you will want to seem in this forum, I don't believe you did pronounce somebody's name like that. Let me tell you that since I was a kid, people have always pronounced my name wrong: NEJEEB. But none has done it on purpose because I'll know, and I bash your nose in. Hence those that were afraid of mispronouncing my name just X-ed the JEEB and that's how I became NEX. Or as many prefer, DENEX.

So don't come and try to sell a sorry story to us.

There is Seun, and there is Shehu. The first time I heard somebody interchange those names, I corrected the person just once and they got it right.

I do not see the relationship between Seun and Isiewu. Where did you get the first "I" from? How come you refused to acknowledge that the "S" is pronounced "SH " or didn't she ever pronounce the name to you? Did she keep correcting you by writing it on a piece of paper?

My friend, don't come here and waste cyberspace!
PoliticsRe: MEND, NDVF, And The Rest Of Them Are Mere Criminals by denex: 12:57pm On Jul 07, 2007
@omoge25

I did not say the Niger-Delta people should be wiped out. I am of the Niger-Delta and I haven't kidnapped anybody or bunkered any oil.

I said a total wipeout of the MEND and all associated groups of terrorists.

A 2 week period should be given for evacuation of all innocent citizens living there, then after that, the government should just make it rain down on them. I mean total destruction. Since all oil pipelines will have been shut, they should even encourage the Terrorists to destroy the pipelines. Na Shell and CNOOC go come build am back.

Meanwhile, I don't want to miss any piece of the action. If CNN cannot provide coverage, aljazeera should be invited too. Coverage licence should be going for $250 million per week. At least if media houses can pay Paris Hilton $1 million for one interview, I see no reason why they can't pay $250 million for an all out war!

This is the solution I see for this Niger-Delta problem. I want to see those bored soldiers that are reminiscing the Liberian and Sierra Leonean war to be given a new adventure. I want this opportunity to be used to reduce the Nigerian population just a tiny little bit. 140 million is too much. I want to see action. I want to see newspapers selling like hotcake. I want daily body count. It'd be fun. I promise.

Shey you see the kind of Monster the MEND has created now? And this is only the beginning. I say these boys will soon begin kidnapping unborn babies.

They abhor all violence against women and children. What makes innocent men good to kill? When you shoot dead a driver because you want to kidnap whitey what becomes of his mother, wife and children?

MEND should just shut up. They should just shut up before they force other young men around the country to form a volunteer force with the aim of tearing them down.

what is needed is a total wipeout. $1billion should be withdrawn from our foreign reserves to buy like 1000 units of M61A2 Electrical Gatling Machine guns with a rate of fire at 6,000 rounds per minute. And range of about 2,000 meters.

Added to the fact that the Nigerian military has one of the top 5 infantry in terms of guerilla warfare, let put them to the test and see how good they truly are.

By the way, some media coverage won't be bad. I no get chance to go Silverbird Galleria to watch action film.

The militant wey want make them MEND im head, make e come out. It is just the memories of Odi that is making the government feel reluctant to unleash maximum force. But soon. Those dissidents will outdo themselves.
