See, when you people are celebrating that NLC has signed an agreement that fuel price won't increase for the next 12 months is not an achievement of their purpose. Government has just made labour sign an agreement that after 12months government can increase fuel price. And this time around, I don't believe government will want to increase by N10. They will carry out the final and total removal of subsidies. Though I'm in support of this increase, but I just want to show that labour didn't achieve anything, instead they made a concession for fuel to be increased in the next 12 months. |
Well, I have to say all them requirements you listed exceed those of a prince charming. I've always been the stubborn candidate. So lemme make a try. My hair is CURRENTLY about 2cm, but there's absolutely no constant hairstyle for me. I reall don't know what to say about my forehead. I've not really paid that much attention to it. My ears are cute. My eyes can't be described too. Nose? Wow, am beginning to contemplate bringing in a mirror. My lips are becoming pink again since I stopped smoking actively. Teeth, no comment. Tongue. I swear I have never thought of examining my tongue. That is the height of vanity for a guy. I don't french kiss on the first date. I'll measure my neck and get back to you on that. My shoulders are wide to scary proportions. Strong arm, from back when I used to hit the gym. Don't do via anymore but the arms are still strong. Well kept armpit? Well, I try but don't you know anything about human pheromones? I bite my nails. That's how I get them well kept. I hate sharp objects. Chest, Nipples and Tommy; fail! I'm the bridge between a pot belly and a six-pack. Beautiful navel. Yeah that's me. No comment on my reproductive organs unless you want to have babies, which I don't. Ehen, buttwise, I've had some slap my butt when they try to caution me but I know there's some ulterior motive. Muscular Hips? On a scale of 1 to 10, I score myself 6. You're beginning to make me really consider the gym again. For crying out loud, I'm 5feet 8inches. How long could my legs possibly be? Very strong knees. Come, I hope you're not looking for a human donkey. Yeah I have nice feet. I get all up in peoples faces O! I learnt that in Benin a little bit of harshness gets you places. I'm not generally stubborn. I keep yielding till that cup gets full. I was Agnostic for about 10 years but since the middle of last year I started to believe in God, or should I say Goddess. I believe in Osun. "cos it's so amazing how this world was made, now I know that God is a woman". I'm self educated so don't expect me to agree with Professor Doctor Know-All. I don't talk too much but I mean what I say. I don't lie. Good lover? If you're talking between the sheets, then I'd say on a scale of 1 to 10, I'd give myself an 8. The cloud nine time, must it be so exact? I mean, I never really thought of a stopclock. My head is definitely in that proportion and I hope you didn't ask purely literally. I like to drink tea with a lot of sugar and I only feel comfortable among friends that do same too. But I never thought the opposite sex would be attracted to that. Is there some kind of sexual fetish attached to it? I'll add a general description of me later |
See, I find it difficult to say those words too. You never really know what they could mean to a girl. At this point however, having known your ages. I think it is the fear of marriage that has warranted this his beginning of wisdom. |
Is it a minimum or maximum age. Abeg make una no dey speak ambiguity for this forum. Is it an age ceiling or an age floor? |
When we Focus, in 10 years, we'll be earning a higher GDP than South Africa and in the next 20 years we should be among the top 20 countries in the world. But instead of us getting to work already, NLC is embarking on violent holidays. E go really hard us. |
There are different criteria for judging this giant of Africa issue which may lead to people saying it's either South Africa or Nigeria. In general though, currently, South Africa is the number 1 country in Africa. |
TINAPA FOR LIFE! Africa's Premier Business Resort. Abeg "google" TINAPA make ya mind sweet jare |
Well same thing happened with me and my girl. She's always keen on meeting new guys, hanging out, but nothing further. She just loves to remember that she's still attractive. She's honest with me she tells me everything. But what the Bleep kind of bullshit is that? I stay dedicated all the time. I know women are attracted to me from the way they look at me and check me out. I don't need to go out on a date with them! Anyhow, since I didn't want to get outplayed, I got a chick on the side too. So one day, my girlfriend comes to check me up, we're watching a music video, then she says "O That chick in the video is so fine" and I tell her "yeah I know her personally". Later that day she checks through the pictures in my phone and sees me and the other just hanging out together and she realises it's not any fun what she's been doing. So bro step your game up go out on your own dates but just make sure whomsoever you hook up with will be somebody your girlfriend will look up to as major competition. If not, you just played yaself. By the way, you just mentioned she's in Port Harcourt. Men, she's definitely not just going on dates. As a matter of fact, she's not YOUR girlfriend, she's A girlfriend. Port Harcourt is not a place you trust girls. Let her go. I let mine go soon after we made up. It just wasn't worth it anymore. |
Hey, how're you all going to cut a brother off? I'm in Owode that's around Adoh and Badore Road. So what are y'all up to? Any parties? Keep me in the loop. |
We are not just hosting them for hosting for hosting sake. We want them to bring in money to spend in our hotels, restaurants and resorts. Don't worry. I am going there to chop whitey maga legally. |
For everything, there is a time and season. |
This project is neither for the poor nor the rich. It was built to attract foreign exchange from European visitors not to be recycling Nigerian currency. It is not built for Nigerians. It is built for Nigerians to use in making money of other nationals who come as tourists so if I see any houseboy there, I'll make sure he's arrested. |
Well those of you that are saying rubbish about TINAPA, I wonder why you didn't complain when SHOPRITE was being built in Lekki, or when SILVERBIRD GALLERIA was being constructed in Victoria Island. Now business are flourishing in these places, people are being employed, and we're enjoying social infrastructure. Is it because government has a stake in this one? So that's what makes it RUBBISH. I have already planned that if I can put together a reasonable amount of money, I'm moving to Calabar. All of a sudden I'm hearing all these discouraging stories. Even Shoprite that was built on Sandfilled land, nobody has said the building will sink. Ah! You people gan should take it easy with government. If government shit, una go say the shit dey smell. Na Christian Dior e suppose scent? And don't you forget that majority stake of TINAPA is held by private investors. If we say because government acquired shares there, we want to run the image of this thing down, we will ruin those people. You also forget that South Africans are watching this project and using it to see if it will measure up to the DSTV and MTN success so that they will know that these other two successes were not just flukes and so that more people will come and invest. If we use our mouths to bankrupt a large project like Tinapa, which foreign economic observer would want to venture into such. Even WALMART that is contemplating moving into Tinapa, una and these dirty, inside-out brained journalists will chase them away. Also, those that are talking about having a hospital instead of Tinapa have no Idea what Tinapa is. Only a few sections of Tinapa are built into specific purposes such as the theatre, studio, mall, cinema and restaurants and suites. The remaining 80% of it can be transformed into whatever the acquisitor wants: banking halls, daycare centres, boutiques, libraries, spas, salons, travel agencies, liaison offices, cyber cafes, hospitals, pharmacies, gyms, clubhouses, anything. In fact Tinapa is so large, you can fit 4 major hospitals in it, and use the rest 70% space for the other businesses. Abeg when you talk about consolidation of Banks, Telecommunications, debt payments, I don't see any other area that Nigeria has done so well in the past 20 years than with Tinapa. And forgive me, I don't really know, but are the roads in Calabar bad? Who is poisoning their food and why are they not poisoning our food in Lagos? I'm really getting worried now because my ex-girlfriend serving in Calabar sent me a message two days ago and we're trying to get back together. With all these analysis, maybe it was an armed robber who got her to open her yahoo messenger at gun point and send me an IM. Armed Robbers, Food Poisoning, Bad Roads, MILITIA, wetin Calabar do you sef? And since some people from Cross Rivers too are saying this project is misplaced, I am begging them to uproot it and replace it in Edo State where Lucky's major project is the movement of a pedestrian bridge from UBTH Gate to UNIBEN Gate. Since it is misplaced, please let them replace it to Edo state and we will use prayers to force every Calabar indigene to heaven. |
Unless there is one village in the middle of the antartic called africa, this question does not make sense. Not this Africa that I'm in. Equatorial Guinea just became the second richest country per capita. nigeria now manufactures its own brand of computers, south africa, Egypt, Tunisia and Senegal are leaping forward with economic, technological and social development so I'm not aware of the Africa you all are refering to. How many African countries have a growth rate of zero or a negative figure? Maybe your question was meant to be "why hasn't Africa caught up to the level of development of the rest of the world?" |
I believe Duke is innocent. For those people in Cross Rivers crying that TINAPA is a white elephant project, they should uproot it and relocate it to Edo State and see what will happen. The type of prayers that Benin people will shower on them, every Calabar man will enter heaven. Anyway, it's been said: you don't know what you've got till it's gone. Donald Duke? The kind of Governor must countries in The world are looking for as their President. Well, shebi you people know have Liyel Imoke? By the end of this year let's hear how much better he is compared to Donald Duke. Funny, I just found out his name almost rhymes with Donald Duck. They are even showing TINAPA on CNN right now. One of the few good things CNN has ever said about Nigeria. |
I say I have personally lost more than N70,000 that I had to scrounge to get in order to prepare documentation, draft proposals, spent on courier services, spent on trips for market research, and obtained endorsement from media partners. I was supposed to submit on Thursday, but NLC rewarded us first with transportation difficulties for 2 weeks, then finally a strike. Well, I will start all over again. Though it won't cost me as much as the first time, but I just hope my sponsors will understand and not completely call off the deal. Well if they do call it off, then my crew would have lost N2.07million. I hope not though, but I praise the almighty NLC. They truly have the power to do and undo. |
Folanusi and Whiteroses, so na Obasanjo legacy una wan use start una relationship. Remember that you people have already said nothing that starts with Obasanjo ends beautifully. |
Guy, there will be no handout to anyone. By 2050, all proven Nigerian crude oil would have completely depleted. Anyway, thank God you said when Nigeria has attained economic breakthrough. But you should also ask yourself why the USA which is by far the richest country in the world is not "dashing" cars, houses, microwave ovens and fridges to all their citizens even after a hundred years of economic breakthrough. That is just not the way life works. And finally, 2 people drinking 1 bowl of Garri and 150 drinking 1 bowl of Garri with expectation of 75 more bowls in the future is not the same thing. |
Yeah. I hope I do. |
How can you people forget Demi Moore & Patrick Swayze in GHOST. Whitney Houston & Kevin Costner in THE BODYGUARD. una dey easily forget O! |
The man is innocent O! |
Well Lucky should be given preferential treatment because of the impunity with which he robbed Edo state. There was a day I went to Ring Road in Benin last year and I saw that the Ring Road roundabout and the pavements had been painted, leading all the way to Lucky's Father's house. That was when I remembered it was daddy's birthday again. |
For God sake, work, work, work; everyday work. NLC had planned a one week holiday, bought adequate fuel, went shopping for food, rented a couple of DVDs, only for government to make massive concessions. What kind of last minute party pooper is this government sef. Labour just had to make do with a 3 day break plus weekend. That's fair. Look at anybody going to work today, see how refreshed they are. Abeg they deserve the break jare. I just hope next time they want to rest they can just beg the Federal Government for emergency public holiday. There's no need for all this economy crumbling tactics that scared the whole world and took crude prices to $71. All they needed was to ask. |
It is Fryo that killed him. Shebi the Fryo guy confessed to Keyamo on video that he killed Bola Ige? Was he under duress? Or was he tortured by Keyamo? Abeg, this case has been long closed. |
I feel it is high time they made an Ibo man the minister of the Federal Capital. The problem is that El Rufai is doing so well and secondly Andy Uba is not an Ibo man: he's a thief! It will make no difference to the Ibos if this Prodigal is made the Minister of the WORLD. |
@Seun Nigeria makes $40billion from crude oil yearly. If you split it among 150million people, that's $340 each. That will result in a payment of N40,000/annum or N3,500/month. That's change. Very petty change. Don't forget that it costs money to distribute money. And besides, if Nigeria should close its account to be "dashing" citizens N3,500 monthly what will the country carry on business with? How will they pay workers? Will they not construct any roads? Please we should quit this Ghana-must-go, share-the-money discussion before it gets to the ears of the masses. @dblock Nigeria is not Kuwait! The population of Kuwait is 2.5million, if Nigeria's oil revenue of $40billion is distributed among Kuwaitis, each citizen will have $16,000. That'll be N170,000/month. So please don't be comparing Nigeria with Kuwait. GEO 001: Nigeria is not Kuwait. And just for your information, Kuwait makes $50billion/annum from crude oil. So if they split it among their 1.2million citizens, that'll be $20,000/annum each. N200,000/month. So please don't compare 2 people with a bowl of garri to 150 people with the same bowl of garri just because they are both bowls of garri. That is illogical logic. |
@jenny2007 Oil has truly been found in Ghana. It was first discovered a couple of years ago but not in commercial quantities. So they kept exploring and now they've found large enough deposits that's why they are celebrating now. Thank God. Now US can take their Military Base there and colonise Ghana. Nigeria cannot have two colonial masters at the same time. China and USA cannot captain Nigeria's ship together O! So thank God for Ghana and I hope they are ready for media bashing from the west. |
@spaceworld Please analyse your maize theory again because I don't see any logic connecting that to fuel price hike. Currently US produces more than 5 million barrels of crude per day. That's twice what Nigeria produces. Yet they sell refined products according to demand and supply. So please analyse this your maize farmer logic properly so I may understand. |
If at all Andy Uba is going to become a Minister, he should be made the Minister of Sports. That is one area of Nigeria that is in complete shambles. It is also a good place for him because despite the fact that messing up the sports ministry will not bring the whole nation down, but sports fans are very sensitive and vocal. When the whole country starts complaining, they will eject him. Personally though, I believe there's an evil plot to completely make a mockery of the Ubas and completely ruin them before discarding them. |
Gadget abi? Shey you have not seen in any news that the US military orders 2 cargo planes(I think it is this same C-17) and some congressmen in charge of military budget approved 12 of those cargo jets at a cost of more than $3billion each. Now, the military had to right to them insisting that they do not actually need 12. They just need two. But the Senate committee insisted that they needed and must have 12. At a price difference of about $1billion each, these congressmen are planning to make $10billion to $12billion in just one deal. I still insist that Nigeria is learning. By the way, I've just seen some formats I forgot to mention that they also use:weight loss drugs scam, Loan approval scam. And when you're trying to go abroad to study, and they ask you to deposit an advance fee before your visa is approved, which most times the visa isn't approved, you don't think this is fraud? You don't call that corruption? Because it is approved by westerners? May I also let you know that in the UK, a quack doctor scammed my nephew and his parents of 35,000 for a heart operation. The boy and his mother travelled down to the UK for the operation and the doctor net them at the airport, collected the balance and dropped them at their hotel. After two days without any word, they searched the address only to find out it was fake. The boy died in the hotel and his mum came back to Nigeria alone. |
Don't worry yourself, that Uba family is going to get into deep mess this time around. |
