I am not happy to be dishing out those types of statements but the truth is that there are agents working for some known and unknown interests, who perpetuate various propaganda in order to study the mindstate of Nigerians, further demoralise them true lies, and prepare them for war. There will be no war in this country, and there will be no free crude that they and their masters will come and plunder. I am well versed in the use of intelligence, counter intelligence and information engineering besides, the average gullible Nigerian is not on Nairaland. They should go and look in the market places and construction sites. Not in here! Where is that sleekwhatever-he-chooses to call himself-today? Descendant of a lineage of failed ancestors. |
I read the books of Paul more than any other religious book. Paul was the only one among the disciples who had a standard education. That is why his accounts are so accurate and his message was so articulate and logical. The only downsize was that he didn't have that one on one relationship with jesus as the other desciples. Have you never wondered why Peter didn't write much? Even when he did, he used someone to record event decades after they happened. So I guess the reason why more people adhere to Paul is the inherent logic in his messages as depicted by a well educated man, and also, the fact that he wrote his letters and messages first hand and recorded events almost immediately after they happened. Besides that, when the Roman Catholic Church must have been putting together the books that made up the bible, despite their inclination to Peter, they easily understood Paul's messages better as they were written in Roman, as opposed to the Hebrew or Armaic in which the other disciples delivered their message. Lastly, at one point, I believe the jewish disciples may have been traditionalizing christianity at its infancy, but Paul, being a Roman, was more liberal in his views of christianity. Anyway, after a long study of the bible, these are some of the reason why I feel most christians easily feel a connection with the books of Paul rather than Revelations which I still can't make a shred of sense from. Also, I'd like to add that Paul is the first true born again. I mean from total evil to total good, it's Paul. |
The prophet muhammed (SAW) did say a few things about jesus christ, but he is definitely not the comforter and he was neither mentioned in the bible, nor would he have even been mentioned in the bible. God knows what he's doing. If he wanted to mention muhammed, He'd have done that clearly. Stating where muhammed would come from and that he'd champion many jihads, how he'll live, and what he'd achieve. Even for those that are claiming that muhammed might be a comforter, he definitely was not THE comforter because jesus made it clear who he was sending the comforter to. It wasn't the Saudis. |
Yes. He's meant to be court martialled and tried in a military court which is much stricter than the regular courts. They should just get it done with jare. The guy deserves justice. Whether freedom, jailtime or capital punishment, the guy should have justice. |
@davidylan sorry O! Captain America. |
@laudate That comment is designed to kill, to steal and to destroy. I have checked the daily situation update of UN and nothing like that. This guy is not ignorant. He knows exactly what he's doing and who he's doing it for. I say na im household up to the third generation be failure. |
It is your father and your mother's heads that are in a failed state. Bloody liar! |
Una dey here dey discuss Hamas, Andy Uba don declare $8billion personal worth. |
YAR'ADUA DID NOT SAY HE MET EMPTY TREASURY. HE SAID A LOT OF THE PAST STATE GOVERNORS LEFT EMPTY TREASURY. IN LAGOS, THERE WAS NOT ONLY EMPTY TREASURY. THERE WAS A HOLE TO FILL UP IN THE TREASURY OF ALMOST $1billion DEBT. YAR SAID THAT THE GOVERNORS SHOULD MAKE SURE WHEN IT'S THEIR TURN, THEY WILL LEAVE A LOT OF CASH IN THEIR STATE TREASURY. YAR'ADUA MET AN ACCOUNT BALANCE OF $12billion AND EXTERNAL RESERVES OF MORE THAN $40billion, AND HE NEVER DENIED IT. |
I've actually sent a copy of that message to Ribad-guy himself. |
What about Atiku? I believe he was cheated by the fact that his court appearances didn't give him time to campain. On the other hand, I believe a good politician would have even used those court appearances to gather more sympathy. |
King George Bush is good world leader. He kill only 600,000 iraq people, but bring good democracy. He destroy Electricity, but will build back. He destroy plenty bridge, but will build back and he bomb water water company but will build back. King George Bush have great love for Iraq people. Allahu Akbar! |
Then why are you Africans not earnestly pursuing the trial of American and British leaders that have caused the massacre and abuse of more than 600,000 people in one country. |
Militaries under different leaders are committing atrocities all over the world but once they are African, the whole world asks for their head. Well, it is good to see that the new generation racism is being led by Africans against themselves. |
He should not be shot! Remember Lagos Lotto, E FIT BE YOU O! He should be given a quick and fair trial. |
I do not believe this man is Richer Than Sir Richard Branson. Anyway, the truth is that this man has put himself in a very tight corner. He simply overinflated his word by adjusting for the amount of money he would steal from the Anambra state coffers in the next 4 years. If this man has actually earned $8billion legally, then he should pay $2.4billion income tax. If he actually hasn't got $8billion, then he should be charged with attempt to defraud the state. But I'd rather he just be made to pay $2.4billion. |
If his lawyer were that good, I don't think he'd still be in detention. |
Obasanjo did not send soldiers to massacre Odi. Don't you people know what cops do to cop killers? Then imagine what soldiers would do to cop killers. Abeg all you calling for a tribunal should first tell the ICJ to hang George Bush and Tony Blair or Shut Up! Do you honestly think Obasanjo instructed them to make sure they killed as many people as possible? |
3rd term the most notable ke? Abeg, I choose NEPA. Even Obasanjo sef choose NEPA. |
In as much as I do not like Al Mustapha, I believe people's human rights should be respected. There are thousands of lawyers just sitting in their offices with nothing to do. I don't know why one of them cannot take up his case. In as much as this is the case, I also agree that people should know how it feels to be treated the way they treated others. I think they call things like that Karma. If Abacha had not died, this same Al Mustapha would have still been administering electric shocks to Diya, Obasanjo and Abiola in detention. |
I am tempted to ask: no be Benin person go pass go Togo? Fatah loyalists want to get to the West Bank. Will it be wise for them to pass through Egypt? Abi you don see night bus wey go pass through Cameroun to get to Togo? Una don start with una logical acrobatics again. Anyway, Israel has refused them passage, Egypt has agreed to grant them stay and Israeli soldiers have driven the almost 100 refugees to Egypt. Driven as in buses. I no talk say them pursue dem O! By the way, why my people still dey concern themselves with Gaza matter when over here in Nigeria, there is a multiple edged sword ripping everything apart. |
Well, our oil rich neighbour Guinea pays N117/litre. We live in the same world. Even in California, there are people that make $1billion a year, and there are people that make less than $5,000. You want the US government too to create different prices for the rich and poor? Let's start preparing to be rich rather than planning how we will remain poor. END OF STORY! |
We are poor. It's not about potential, it's about what we've got. We're poor but thank God we're waking up to our potential. |
@initiator www.cellular.co.za/news_2003/082003-nigerian_regulator_ncc_to_set_up.htm So don't call that your friend If you ever find yourself on the hot seat of who wants to be a millionaire. @am aikama the simple answer is that Nigerians won't pay the right price for the products. |
Nigeria makes has a total GDP of $200,000,000,000. Both politician stealing, prostitutes at Ynot, farmers and indian hemp sellers The State of California in the United States of America makes $1,550,000,000,000. So my brothers and sisters, we poor. Luckily though we are coming out of that poverty, but we poor die. |
At that time, we only had $6billion (with $30billion debt). I wouldn't think that was rich. Today, after 8 years, we've got $45billion. That's close to Bill Gates total worth. ie Nigeria is poor. However, we're coming up very fast. |
@initiator I told you how difficult it was for me to get these links but I don't think you even bother to check them out. www.mediarightsagenda.org/mrm/jun01/jun01_front2.htm www.dailytimes-nigeria.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=blogcategory&id=9<emid=12 |
@celemel you have spoken very well and I'm extremely pleased with your line of argument. I'm not trying to confuse anyone here. It was one OTOKX individual just before my post that he was watching on AIT where one NLC comrade said the final cost of 1 litre of petrol is N31. How am I supposed to know he was a liar? Besides I have also read where one NLC member was giving similar analysis on the Tribune. Now what I'd like to ask is that, are you saying it should forfeit its own share of the $63 profit? And then lets assume the government's share is $20/barrel and it surrenders it, what stops these other JV members from still going into the world market to sell at the international market price, thereby making extra $20 on top of their initial profits. If Dangote Refineries takes in 100,000 barrels per day of crude, why wouldn't they just divert 50,000 and sell into the international crude market, making the $20 per barrel that should rightfully belong to government. That will amount to $1million a day without lifting a finger. That is exactly what is called round tripping in the banking industry today. Government will lose $1million dollars daily to 1 individual and also there will be scarcity since out of the total amount of crude estimated for the daily use of the country, half is being diverted. Then regarding the banning of crude export from Nigeria, that is something we have to do in order to have a useful future as a nation. At most 2010 should be a time when there will be ZERO crude oil export from Nigeria. Refining crude oil will create more than 3 million jobs. I kid ye not. The cost of transport in first exporting crude and then importing refined products will be chopped off the end cost of petrol. Import tax, export tax, those will no more play a part in petroleum products consumed in Nigeria. With cheap labour, At the end of the day, prices will still come down to N60 / litre. Just the way SIM cards sold for about N30,000 in the begining of the GSM craze, but now it's about N300. This refining policy double the profits Nigeria makes. But first, how do you get these refineries to open shop? You have to let them realise at least they won't make less profit, or at least a loss by coming down to Nigeria. About the NCC thing, it is one INITIATOR guy on earth that started initiating that there was no such thing as fixing of tariffs by NCC. In fact, he's still claiming it didn't happen. |
Please tell me that there's a political angle to this story that I'm just not getting yet. |
This is what keeps happening in Nigeria. In Northern Nigeria, there was Mai Tatsine in the 80's that thought he couldn't be touched. He realised wrong. Then the 90's saw the OPC with their unmatchable spiritual powers. Everybody said they were invincible, they throw eggs as grenades, they deflect bullets. The government tolerated them for about 2 years before wiping them out in a sweep. Then there were the Bakassi Boys. They were much more powerful than the OPC and the gods were with them because they were pure of heart and they fought crime. Nollywood movies were even made about them; about the reasons for their invincibility. I think the government tolerated them for the same 2 years too before deciding to totally eradicate them. I said this same thing then and people didn't believe. But I'll say it now again. DO NOT Bleep WITH THE GOVERNMENT! |
They generally belief that cough is the highest killer in subsaharan africa. |
