In a case where there is a threat to national security, a suspect can be detained like the case of Uwazuruike, Dokubo and Gani Adams. In the case of a suspect that had jumped bail previously too, he can be arrested like Alameseigha.

Right now, the man Ehindero has been interrogated, his movement has been restricted and his personal identification and travel documents have been seized. Must you people see chains on his neck before you will drink your garri in peace?

And I wonder why you all did not clamour for Tinubu to be chained and paraded when he too was indicted. Abi did Tinubu not invest Lagos state's N4 billion in ECONET? Did the share price not double during the Vmobile buyover of ECONET from Vodacom? (N8 billion). Did the Vmobile share price not triple when CELTEL bought them over? So why are you people not begging for Tinubu to be paraded in chains? Is he more equal than Ehindero? Or because Ehindero is only accused of millions but Tinubu is accused of billions, so Tinubu should be treated with respect.

Abeg, I get sore throat. I no fit shout!

Hmmm. This is new. "catholics claim to be christians too"? You mean catholics are actually not christians? I would like you to send details of this to my mailbox: acenex@yahoo.com
I am tired of reading fiction in a forum for discussing real issues.

CATHOLICS CLAIM TO BE CHRISTIAN TOO.

That should make it to the guinness book of records as the most outlandish statement 2007. Unless of course you beat your own record before the end of the year.

Again, out of nowhere, you blurt out that Jews are people born in Israel. Ha! That means all the 6 million people born in Europe and killed by Hitler are what? Buddhists?

You also infer that all the millions of people evacuated from Europe and brought to the modern state of Israel are all what?

1) A jew is someone born of a jewish mother or converted into judaism.

2) More recently, someone with only a jewish father is now considered as a jew.

3) The religion of Judaism has nothing to do with location.

4) Judaism is not a type of citizenship.

5) When people say "I am Nigerian", "I am Chinese", "I am British", you cannot say "I am jewish". It is not a NATIONALITY!

If you say being a jew is just like being a Nigerian, then when you say the religion of jews is Judaism, then is the religion of Nigerians nigerianism? Is the the religion of Chinese chinesism? Is the religion of British britism?

Young man, think straight before you type. I have told you to read a lot but you don't want to.

And when you say

"it is a religion that refers to us as apes and pigs"
are you claiming to be a jew? Were you born in Israel? (according to your theory on being a jew).

And since you are still in denial that the land which Jesus was born was known as palestine till the 20th century, and that article earlier was too complex for you to read the topic, I'll send you a simpler text. Something for children learning Bible stories.

www.sundayschoollessons.com/palestin.htm

Please, I beg of you, read a lot and stop churning out these bombastic stories. Stop unleashing these volumes of fallacies.

Foreign Affairs › Re: Israel Doesn't Want Peace By Gideon Levy by denex: 10:27pm On Jun 15, 2007
It is this same freedom of thought that motivated Bin Laden, Genghis Khan and Hitler. Extremism is simply taking things too far.

By the way, whether you specify Nation or Group of individuals, Christians slaughtered and persecuted the Jews far more than anybody ever has and don't think Jews forget so easily.

And is amazing the kind of shambolic statements that come from human beings these days.

MANY CHRISTIANS ARE JEWS AND MANY JEWS ARE CHRISTIANS?!!

Is it possible for one person to have two religions?

It is these kind of pseudological statements that cause me to liken you to that TayoD fellow.

I am not saying genuine christians or muslims should hate jews. What I am saying is they should know jews don't give a hoot about them.

In addition, I think you should know the difference amongst the ancient tribe of Israel, the land of Palestine, and the modern day nation of Israel. Read

www.jesuscentral.com/ji/historical-jesus/jesus-firstcenturycontext.php

But don't stop there O! Read more on your own. Read on Pope Pius and his pact with Hitler. Continuing reading because no knowledge is lost. Read about the institution of Christianity as the official religion of The Roman Empire and what havoc that wreaked on Jews. Just keep on reading. Read till you know that it is crazy to say "many christians are jews and many jews are christians". I'm afraid to sound exactly like you usually do, but NO JEW IS CHRISTIAN! None! Not a single one! Unless that individual is in the Yaba left psychiatric ward.

From "Israelis are Jews", you've jumped to "many christians are jews and many jews are christians". I dey correct you make you no wash hand inside dirty water, you go drink am.

Talking of sitting on the fence, yes that is what peacemakers do. Do you expect the referee to be playing for one of the teams? Is it not insane to bring in Iran or the US to solve this problem, knowing fully well where their allegiances lie? To negotiate peace, we are to sit on the fence. I do not see how you would claim to be on one side of the fence and want to broker peace for two warring factions. Anyway, I believe you have another (PSYCHO)logical explanation for that. So please let's hear it Mr Christian Jew.

I honestly believe that with fingerprint records, identity should not be much of a problem.

Anyway, let's be honest, if you were made the chairman of INEC and mandated to ensure the use of e-voting, are you telling me there's nothing you can do?

Anyway, hope you now agree that Israelis are mostly Jews.

you mean you refused to read the part of the article that reported Abiola's deal with Abacha to topple the Interim National Government and hand over to him after six months? What Abiola did not realise was that it would be the last coup he ever sponsored. A coup against himself.
Politics › Re: Ehindero Must Be Paraded —keyamo by denex: 7:51pm On Jun 15, 2007
@Dis Guy,

if you don't have much to say, stop beefing up your posts by repeating other people's.

Well, y'all go ahead and parade them. Tinubu, Ehindero, Ibori, even Adenuga, parade them.

We want to move further into civilization and the masses are begging for barbarism.

While requesting for Ehindero to be "paraded", don't forget to include an ardent plea for a resumption of the Firing Squads at Bar Beach.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Israel Doesn't Want Peace By Gideon Levy by denex: 7:34pm On Jun 15, 2007
@davidylan

the fact that you're debating does not mean you have to be totally polarised. You can still make moderate statements like "Israelis are mainly jews". There are israeli muslims and christians.

Stop making statements like:

"Israelis are jews".

When in fact jews make up 70% of the Israeli population. Shebi you are the same individual that was ranting "No More Taliban" on a different thread?

There's so much under the sun. You can't go about believing that things are either black or white.

I want to also put it to you that the Romans did not persecute Jews for persecution sake, it was because the Roman empire took up christianity and still the Jews went about portraying Jesus as a scam that used his knowledge of Jewish prophesies to dupe people by portraying himself as the Messiah. This Christian persecution took place around AD 300 and AD 400 during the reign of Constantine under charges of HERESY. Don't commute my statement into different piece in history. So Israelis do hold someone culpable for persecuting them and it is the Christians.

I came here to tell both muslims and christians that are taking sides based on religious sentiments that that their judgement is misguided and that:

CHRISTIANS ARE NOT JEWS AND JEWS ARE NOT CHRISTIANS.

That also brings me to the issue of Hitler himself. Hitler was a staunch christian who hated Jews, mostly after reading the book "Jews and their lies" written by Martin Luther whom needless to say, also hated Jews too. And not even forgetting Pope Pius XII, Hitler's co-Holocauster who also hated Jews and had no problem seeing 6 million Jews dead.
May I add though that the Pope rescued 3000 jews from Europe and sent them to Brazil. Of course only after they'd renounced judaism and become baptised into Catholism.

I'm sorry to have to bore you all with too many history reminders, including those that sound outrageous, but the point is, the Jews have love for neither Muslims nor Christians.

And finally, davidylan desist from your "either black or white" view of life. That kind of "either here or there" philosophy is what is referred to by George Bush as EXTREMISM!
Politics › Re: Ehindero Must Be Paraded —keyamo by denex: 3:53pm On Jun 15, 2007
Well, I'm afraid people do not really know that the culture of the police PARADING suspects was borne out of an intent to help the public to identify them so that anyone who had any evidence against them, or knew any other crime they had taken part in, would come forward.

That is why it is more common among armed robbers and criminals who operate under hidden identities.

Tafa Balogun was not paraded to the best of my knowledge. He was appearing in court when journalists got pictures of him.

Parading suspects is not done for the sake of embarrassing the suspect as Keyamo has believed, it is to help the public recognise a previously unknown criminal and allow them bring forward any evidence they may have or report any other crimes the suspect may have committed which the police is not aware of.

Imagine asserting somebody like Obasanjo, Gani Fawehinmi or Kanu Nwankwo and parading him. So also it would make no sense to be parading Ehindero or Bola Tinubu.
Politics › Re: Ehindero Must Be Paraded —keyamo by denex: 3:26pm On Jun 15, 2007
Keyamo is a lawyer only by virtue of appearance on TV and writing articles in the tabloids. How can anybody that went to Law School be calling for a citizen to be handcuffed and paraded just because a suspect mentioned his name?

Let us not forget that Keyamo himself is no less a home video director than Jeff Koinange and has often coerced suspects into implicating popular figures to get off the hook.

Nigeria is a civilised country. Whether people want to believe it or not.

Somebody who has already been interrogated and has just had his movement restricted and travel document seized, is that not enough to show that charge and bail lawyer Keyamo that Ehindero is already being investigated as a suspect? Must someone be treated like a Zimbabwean opposition leader before we know he's being investigated?

Abeg, this is not a savage land. If Ehindero was treated like an animal, they will say the police is bad. He is treated like a human being now, the police is bad.

Why didn't Keyamo ask the police to chain Bola Tinubu too as he's being investigated for looting.

Please let's disregard comments from journalist-wannabe unsuccessful lawyers.

I was just using the IPPs as an example, but if you like, I'm a gambling man. I'd like to place a bet on the IPPs boosting power generation.

And you should try to investigate the relationship of Abiola and the Minister of Defence during the interim government.

I don't really know, but don't you think in general, the e-voting system would be cheaper.

I mean, people registering and voting at cyber centres as opposed to the government buying new registration computers, ballot boxes and hiring at least 2 million agents for 2 months to register voters, supervise elections and finally count votes.

Additionally, I'm saying if you can justify a politician sharing bags of rice, you can do the same for a politician that hands out N500 notes. Afterall is a bag of rice not more valuable and more obvious than N500? And thereby, you can even justify exchange of Ghana Must go on the premise that the masses are suffering.

My friend, stop addressing issues as if you're discussing at your favourite amala spot. I said GSM is now ameliorating the inadequate telephone infrastructure caused by the ITT scam, I didn't say the ITT project came with a GSM licence. Must telephone line mean GSM?

On Obanikoro, you're only saying all this because he wasn't cast into jail by a Hausa man for five years. If that had happened, you would have been claiming now that Fashola rigged the elections.

By the way, how can you compare somebody that is distributing promotionally branded campaign apparel to another man that is giving out rice? O ga O! Next thing you will say it's okay to distribute N500 notes because the people did not have transport money, then he will distribute Ghana must Go and you people will explain that it is because the masses did not have fat bank accounts. Bribe is bribe! The man is a criminal.

okay, I see you do not understand. You are talking of soon we will observe June 12 as a public holiday, when we're trying to ask Lagos state government whether June 12 will continue being a public holiday.

@laudate

Rather than tell me to show you the presence of evidence of the crimes I mentioned, you should be asking me to show you the absence of the ITT telephone lines, the absence of money in the national treasury laundered through Kudirat's account for IBB. Abeg I will miss him O! I will miss abiola because the communication gap he tried to widen between Nigeria and the developed world is gradually being closed by GSM. I will miss all the times I used to be scared of when the next military coup will be sponsored. I will miss the suffering Abiola and IBB put the masses just so he could bribe them with ordinary rice.

Very soon you will make Obanikoro a national hero and carve out a holiday for him because he challenged election result. WHO STANDS TO GAIN? If Abiola's struggles finally made Abacha give in, is it me that would have become president?

The only good thing I know Abiola did was that he loved sports. That's all.

Mr. Lecturer, I did not say inflation was exchange rate. I said a 10% change in inflation would mean a 10% change in exchange rate. But thanks for bringing me up to speed on Wikipedia's most current definition of inflation. I appreciate (honestly).

As for the index mundi people, I won't accept figures from people who say there are only 3 television stations in Nigeria as at April 2007. But thanks all the same.

Now, coming to the fact that I am Edo, I don't know the kind of pride and moral upliftment you want me to gain with regards to my kinsmen going out of this country to rape and rob their hosts.

Then the issue of this man's parents preferring their child alive over money, this man's family encouraged him on a journey which had more than a 50% chance of him dying just so that he can get to Spain and Send them MONEY. They were aware of the possibility of him dying in the desert or waters with which his life would be lost and there would be no financial benefit associated so I dare say that they prefer this case scenario whereby it's a win-lose.

I am not thanking the Spanish authorities for killing a Nigerian. All I'm saying is that this boy could have illegally migrated to Europe without adding rape and robbery to his CV. Not to mention attacking and biting people randomly. Don't even doubt it because that is a trick that PROFESSIONAL Nigerian immigrants employ these days. Claiming they are HIV positive, they try to bite, spit at, and rub lesions on their body against the enforcement officers in order to scare them. So you think I wouldn't tie an HIV patient that is desperately trying to infect me? You people keep forgetting the question I asked. WHY WAS HE THE ONLY ONE BAGGED AND GAGGED?

As for his supporters here, they should have asked for his body before requesting cash. They should have even buried him first before demanding financial leverage.

Abiola is an uncommon criminal. A gentle scoundrel. People are crying crocodile tears that the man did not become president. I only wish that he did become president, those tears would have been real!

Someone that sponsored coups that claimed human lives and threw the country into turmoil, raped this country of billions even when that world billion was not familiar to most Nigerians, crippled our telecommunications industry and put us behind Togo and Benin in terms of teledensity, somebody who campaigned by using bags of rice and other foodstuff to bribe the poor masses for their votes.

May he rot in the hottest enclave in hell, and may the devil order another bucket of brimstone to be poured on his head.

This development in telecomms that we are celebrating today, if not for Abiola, would have been part and parcel of our daily lives since the early 1980.

Any Nigerian that can singlehandedly cause Togo and Benin Republic to be ahead of Nigeria in any sphere of life should not escape the second death that is not of the flesh but of eternal torment.
