I wonder where the famous Road safety corps are - their intimidation is much needed here. That car should not be allowed on any road. I bet the driver will be one of the first people to complain about the deplorable state of roads in the country. Yet, every moment he drives the car, he destroys the roads. |

It's all self control. Moreover, having no sex before marriage is no guarantee of faithfulness /fidelity after marriage. All na wash, don't bother with all the hypocrisy. |

There is no small sin or big sin. All is sin. Whether you lie, fornicate or masturbate. Or think evil of anyone. All are the same sin. So I find its just easier for me to just sin and get over with it. I'd rather be the guy with the runs girl, or the guy screwing the gf, than the pastor who lies, cheats or has a bad thought in his mind. At least I enjoy myself in the process. |

Louislewis: Dear, I have gone through so many comments made by the young ones in this forum. None is given you the hope or tell the truth. Please, I advise you not to lose hope. The problem of Nigeria today, not moving forward is the idea of indulging most of these young ones in the labor market. The problems in the bank is because of this young ones metalility. The problem in the oil sector today is because of this young one metality of employment. I had a brother who left Nigeria about 4yrs ago through Visa Lottery at the age of 45, he got a job with one of the ministries within 4 months. He was trained on the job. Today, he is still working under that ministry. It is only Nigeria that employer want to engage young ones (Cheap labour) into their sector just for the purpose of cheating. Not for the purpose of experience and maturity,Which is why, today, Nigeria remains where we are. Because of this, banks remain where there are. No reasonable and experience personel engaged in their services, instead looking for "Target without Good Business Idea" for the target. Go to oil sectior, full of young ones that are totally redundant. My dear, they are still hope. Keep on searching with your experience and age. It is a matter of short time. Adjust your CV to reflect your experience and possibly formulate some companies name whether existing or not. Nigeria today, few people are sincere with the information in their CV. Do the same to enhance your CV and defend it. You will be employ. I wish you best of luck. Bros, you had some good points till you flat out advised him to lie on his resume. You are one of the problems we have in this country with that thinking of yours. |

salt1: Some things do not add up in your post 1. You haven't been invited for interview yet you claim wealth of experience. Where did you get this experience?
2. Are you applying for a first job at 45years? Those to interview you are Human Resource managers in their 30s 3. Organizations don't just want expertise. They want people they can invest in and who can build a career 4. You didn't mention your discipline. The course you read is important. If it's Education, you can easily get a place in these numerous private schools 5. You didn't mention where you have been applying to work in. With the Civil service, the maximum age for first appointment is 50years Dude, think outside the box. He may have just relocated to settle in Nigeria. He said he has wealth of experience and you are asking if its his first job? C'mon son! |

seunwen2: Just graduated and still in my early 20s so make other people comment on this why waste space if you have nothing to contribute Op, if you have a wealth of experience, you should consider starting your own firm and bring up the next generation. I think the job market is a bit picky on age, the whole respect bs. I believe there are many out there who wouldn't mind hiring someone with experience. |

Homguy: Bro, these set of people deserve instant judgement, the level of the wickedness against their fellow man is unprecedented. I hope you or your family don't ever come in contact with them. Bro, there is a difference between justice and revenge/vengeance. Justice isn't perfect and can be very slow but it is usually fair. I know we want an eye for an eye instantly but that isn't justice but vengeance. We should learn to forgive our enemies too, even when it hurts. Seek justice the legal way. Our govt has failed us when it comes to bh for sure. And there are times when in the moment I want to say kill them all but it is not right. |
Politics › Re: Civilian JTF Beheads 41 Boko Haram Fighters by deniyor: 7:22pm On Nov 01, 2014 |
segnys007: Which court of law? Nigeria's courts? Not that I support this kind of jungle justice, but the courts in Nigeria is not exactly giving you the confidence to trust it, wouldn't you think? I agree with you. The Nigerian system doesn't exactly inspire confidence. But we still have to trust and believe the system will work eventually. The alternative is to take law into our own hands, which is even worse. Lawlessness can't be encouraged. We are not savages. |

Homguy: Picures please?Picures please? You are obviously out of touch with the reality in Nigeria. How so? I know the justice system in Nigeria is not up to standard. I know in the past, the govt has let the bh terrorists go scot free after they were arrested. Its hard to trust the system but we cant lose faith in Nigeria. Jungle justice is not the answer to it. We cant descend to their level because the moment we do, we have lost. |

Jungle justice in what ever form is bad. Whether it is carried out by boko haram or jtf or mend or whatever group that desires to take arms cause of a grievance. Taking law into our own hands is wrong. I understand the frustration from the govt in providing adequate security for us but we must not resort to the level of the boko haram terrorists. You can try justifying the actions of the jtf as you like but what gives them the right to be prosecutor, jury, judge and executioner. If the boko haram had been killed in the course of attacking the villagers, it would be different. But this is just plain jungle/mob justice. It is wrong.
Beheading whether alive or after death just shows they are savages. Let the criminals be tried in a court of law. |
