I am not arguing as regards to your points but my brother, from the look of things the man has been able to win much people...anyways, governorship result will tell when the time comes. All the e-warriors in NL are not voters, they make noise laden with bitterness and hatred, nothing more. Since Ogbemudia in the 60s-70s, Ambrose Ali in the 80s no other govnor has added infrastructural development to Edo as Oshiomhole has. Considering the decay he met in 2008. I was born, raised and schooled to uni in Benin. Ize-Iyamu has no program his Campaigns has been about Oshiomhole and not manifestos. He only wants to be govnor by all means. |

Dcomrade: APC...A PARTY OF HYPOCRITES AND POLITICAL fraudsters...THE BEGINNING OF THEIR END IN EDO STATE.
APC Guber Primary Update: Oshiomhole Bribes 3,000 Delegates With N1.3b
There is palpable apprehension at the three locations where accreditation for the APC governorship primary is holding presently as political observers awaits the commencement of the much publicised Edo APC guber primaries.
Speculations are rife that the outcome will be a charade. A reliable source revealed to freepress.com.ng that the leading contender and anointed candidate of Governor Oshiomhole, Mr. Godwin Obaseki started by enticing delegates with N150,000 each; however in a bid to flex muscle with Obaseki and embarass his boss Governor Oshiomhole, the deputy Governor Dr. Pius Odubu reacted swiftly by bribing delegates with N160,000 each.
It was not yet uhuru, as the source disclosed that when Governor Oshiomhole became abreast with the subtle move of his deputy; he furiously added another N150,000 naira per delegate to the amount Mr. Obaseki released to further make mockery of Dr. Odubu.
One of the celebrated street urchins in Benin City and a thug, Mr. Osakpamwan No Moles added another N150,000 to the N300,000, making N450,000. The total amount of N450,000 per delegate comes to N1,350,000,000.
The other aspirants who are making minimal showing in the monetisation gambit are Engr. Chris Ogiemwonyi who had doled out N150,000 each; Barrister Kenneth Imasuangbon N100,000, General Charles Airhavbere N100,000, and comrade Peter Esele N50,000.
The source hinted that due to the hyper monetisation of the election the result might turn out controversial and chaotic. One of the loyalists of a the prominent aspirants (name withheld) in the governorship race said Governor Oshiomhole has succeeded in killing the APC in Edo State. Is the best you can do for remaining share of Jonathan's election left over they paid you for your E-war? |

Nigerians, I tire for una. At this rate, it will take generations for this country to witness true development with the way we play politics. When some have nothing to say or offer they pull off stupidity...they tried same tribal sentiments against Oshiomhole in the 2nd bid, but even the Oba's palace was not impressed with their tribal politics that lacks intergrity. So let them continue to sell their foolishness to the world in a bid to call a dog a bad name. |

Gabrielclint: There are so many difference between blind and hollow block, I will highlight few of them for you. But first you need to understand that structurally block is not a load bearing element. But it can act as such in bungalows and if the block is specifically designed and moulded as such. But 95% of blocks moulded in Nigeria are not load bearing. Now to the difference: 1. Blind blocks due to its weight comes only in 5" & 6" form while hollow blocks comes mainly in 6"&9" 2. Blind blocks are mainly used in bungalows while hollow blocks are used both in bungalows and storey building cos most columns dimensions are 225*225mm and above ie 9"*9" 3. Hollow blocks are cheaper that blind blocks since they consume less material for production. 4. Hollow blocks constitute less self weight to the building than blind block. If you are saying that blind blocks are not meant for storey buildings, in Benin City that's 99% of all buildings including storey buildings are built with. Though, there are fewer storeys than Lagos but there are rarely building collapsing compared with Lagos. However, I can also point out here that people build in Benin with more consciousness of safety than in Lagos where safety is sacrificed for profit. |

Thank God we are starting to do things right. Exactly my thoughts, I believe there are too many lawyers in the police rather than scientists.Hence, they look for easy convictions by torturing suspects to extract confessions. Police needs scientists from all fields of sciences, ie, chemists, botanists, zoologists, physicists, microbiologists, paramedics, nurses, psychology, psychiatry etc. Who should then be trained on their roles in crime detection and investigations. Perhaps, things might get better...just perhaps. All those top officers who rose to their ranks on the platform of corruption might not let things work. |

Health › How Often Should We Wash Our Clothes? by DeRay98(op): 2:20pm On Jun 09, 2016 |
It’s perfectly acceptable to let the laundry basket practically spill over before shoving it in the washing machine, right? Wrong. And wearing the same bra all week is fine, isn’t it? Nope. Science has spoken and it turns out we all should be doing our laundry a lot more than every Sunday afternoon. Darn. The Real Simple Guide To Real Life has revealed exactly how often items in our wardrobes need washing - and it might make you cry. According to the guide, bras should be washed every three to four wears, and it’s not the only item that doesn’t last a full week. Pyjamas can only last up to four nights, which is highly unpractical when there are seven days in a week. So how about the items that we’re more likely to sweat all over or dribble our toothpaste down? T-shirts should be washed after every wear (yes, even if you thought you stayed perfectly fresh all day long) and the same goes for tights. Which makes a bit more sense as they can get really gross when you’re feet have been in leather boots all day. Thankfully, there are a few saving graces. Your trusty favourite pair of jeans can be worn five time before hitting the washer and your winter jumpers last a full seven days. Surprisingly, leggings and yoga trousers last a solid three wears and presumably a fair deal of perspiration was taken into account when coming to this conclusion. Hmm, we’re not sure if we will now do more laundry or buy more clothes. Probably be doing the latter. https://uk.style.yahoo.com/this-guide-reveals-exactly-how-often-we-should-we-095029981.html |

Stop fighting for government jobs... That's the lazy route to take.
Learn some skills and think of what you can do for yourself. Or start volunteering with a small local NGO and then build enough capacity to work in larger ones. Or go to YouTube and choose a particular thing to learn and watch as many videos as you can.
The possibilities are endless.

The companies are now using power to exploit citizens shamelessly and until now no other state govt has spoken or taken steps to confront these companies and their attitude to Nigerians. The very same reasons NEPA was privatized is still being experienced with private companies. I believe Fashola was deceived to believe that more tariffs will translate to more power.
