I know you are not trying to shift the narrative. You are only practicing the standard Nigerian playbook of stupidity: Your evil justifies and rationalizes my evil.

The tragedy is that Nigerians hardly ever mobilize cultural alibis to defend what is good.

Mention any social or political or economic malaise, they will rootle the archives to find that it also happens elsewhere which, in their fevered brains, justifies, explains, rationalizes and cancels out the current issue.

Mention genocide and this category of foolish and irredeemable Nigerians will tell you that Hitler also did it.

You mention a particular politician who has just stolen, the idiotic Nigerian rushes out with : why haven't you mentioned this other one? Just like what this foolish poster just did.

How tha fvck can we ever progress with this fvcking mindsets?

This is a most welcome development if corrupt marshals don't circumvent it as our civil servants are most specialized for.
In the UAE, it's rigorous and costly.
Theory class 8 lessons must be attended before theory lesson test. Any lesson missed must be paid for and attended before the theory test. Failure means going back to pay and repeat the classes.
If you passed theory test, you register and pay for practice lessons for 32+ sessions or different stages. It could take average of 3months to complete but if on weekends, it could take up to a year.

If go on UAE roads, you hardly hear cars horning except it's absolutely necessary. Drivers respect pedestrians according to rules. Violation is heavy fine, no short cuts. Attempted bribery is insult on upon injury. Don't even think of it.

Wike, Fayose and most of their supporters have proved to be barbarians. They kill and maim in the name of election, yet they blame the president who has proved over and over again to be neutral in the elections conducted so far.

I blame PMB for going too soft on the two animals called Wike and Fayose. This is where I like OBJ.

Though I understand that Buhari doesn't want to be accused wrongly of meddling in affairs of states especially the two states being ruled by commedians, but the president needs to wield the big stick on these two Buffoons very early before they become monsters that cannot be tamed.

How much were u paid by the Binis for this write up? Of a truth the Benin empire is the most respected in Nigeria but am still wondering why Benin-city has refused to progress since the fall of Ovoramwen nogbatin. In todays world I doubt if Bini people can defeat other Nigerian minorities like themselves in an ethnic conflict.
Sorry guy, I'm not writer neither was anybody paid to write it. A friend wrote it and i felt should share this bit of Benin history which Binis and non-Binis are unaware of. Moreso, as the Yorubas are full of bragging about their embellished history but they don't know anything about the exploits of a modern day minority people like Binis and the general Edo people who shared this history.
You may doubt the strength of today's binis because they are generally laid back but don't test them. An average bini person(male or female) is tough and stubborn to the core and when pushed to the wall you won't believe what they can do. They don't believe in bragging without action, if a bini man tells you "i will break your head" don't test his will, he would do it if he has to just prove that he meant it when he said it.
Culture › Benin Empire... by DeRay98(op): 11:22am On Mar 18, 2016
The legendary great Benin warrior General Ologbosere after his capture on 19 may 1899, flanked by African colonial regiments. Chiefs Obakhavbaye, Obayuwana and Uso, and Okaokuo Ugiagbe, commanders of the Benin militias that annihilated Phillip’s invasion force at Ugbine, were also arrested and detained. That night Obayuwana committed suicide in detention. Sir Moor, ordered Obayuwana’s body hung up in the front of the ruined Oba’s palace. Chiefs Uso and Obakhavbaye were publicly executed. On the 27 June 1899 the British occupation forces executed Chiefs Irabor, Ologbosere and Ebohon for defending their homeland. Benin Kingdom was the last to be captured by the British forces that invaded west Africa.....it was also the most difficult to be captured.......In fact, in Western Nigeria the Eleko of Eko king Dosunmu without any attempt to fight at all relinquished his Authority to the British Crown in 1861 and Lagos became a British Colony........After this other Yoruba Kings like the Oni of Ife and Alafin of Oyo e.t.c followed suit....these happened despite their boastings of having Powerful shrines and Charms that can defend them ....i think those shrine and charms were mere delusions.........in the North there was a Powerful resistance by the Sultan of Sokoto Attahiru, who was the Head of the Sokoto Caliphate, that stretched through the whole of Northern Nigeria down to Auchi Edo state in the South........But after only 3 days of Intensive Bombardment by the British forces, Sokoto Caliphate fell and the Sultan Attahiru Surrendered the Caliphate to Colonialism.....But his Chief Warrior the Emir of Kano, resisted and so the British forces marched on Kano and Kano fell in Just one day.

The Ibos in the East did not offer much resistance because they were acephalous and republican in Nature.....they had no form of centralised Government and thus were easily Colonised......in the south King Jaja of Opobo and and the itsekiri Regent Nana were easily Captured and deported to foreign lands.....in Urhobo land where i come from after the deportation of overame nobody dared resist the British......Chief Ayomanor Evwide and Chief Omarin quickly leased Okpe urhobo lands of Sapele to the British for 99 years in 1908, though for a Rent.
But the Binis under Oba overame resisted vehemently and were the only Army THAT DEFEATED THE BRITISH FORCES AT FIRST.
This battle led by the Ologbosere on the Benin side and Captain Philips on the British side took Place at Ugbine near ughoton......and a British force of 125 men were massacred mostly by beheadings......This news went to london and the British Press, Parliament and People cried for vengeance as it will be a disgrace for a "Primitive tribe" to defeat British soldiers....and so a Punitive expedition was sent to Benin.........Heavy cannon shellings bombarded Benin for a whole 10 days, there was massive bombings and Arson in Akpakpava and Sokponba areas of Benin......but after 10 days the Powerful Benin forces that had not be defeated for over 800 years fell to the superior fire Power of the British under General Moor.
Overame was Captured and Deported.
It is interesting to note that today many Communities of the Esan, Akure, Urhobo, Agbor, Isoko, Ijaw and Itsekiris would have been Muslims today if not for the might of the Benin Kingdom.......following the Forceful conversion of the Auchi and Jattu kings down to Agbede to Islam by the Jihadists men of Uthman dan Fodio, Esanland was the next target followed by the Binis.......But the "Ekponeme" Soldiers of Benin quickly came out to Esan land and gave the Jihadists a Crushing defeat.......they retreated and that was the end of the Islamisation Process of Nigeria.......But in our History books they claimed they were not defeated but that most of their horses and men were bitten by tse tse fly and so died of trypanosiomiasis..........But their bodies were carried to Benin and deposited in Benin Forests.....and when Captain Hamilton entered Benin the very first time, he saw these many corpses and accused the Benin Kings of Bloody Human Sacrifices.

Which 19million are u spending every month?

FG budgets 16M for fueling for a 24hr stable electricity monthly. Meanwhile you don't power your generators for 24 hrs.
IBEDC still supply electricity once a while, and the generators don't run at these times.

The main generator and most others are down at the moment due to lack of servicing. True or False?
You mean you spend the whole 16m every month? Haba.

It will cost just 40M to link up with Ganmo's 33Kv substation.
Why not do that?

EFCC and GOD is watching.

Health › Re: Photo Of Two Babies Sharing One Incubator At A General Hospital In Lagos by DeRay98(m): 9:49am On Mar 17, 2016
Quakertellicus1:
In 2013, OAUTH's budget was $11 MILLION. In the same period , the budget for Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston was $750 billion.

In my opinion, the problem is that it is very difficult to adequately fund healthcare in Nigeria. A hospital in Nigeria cannot fund itself adequately from hospital fees, government funding is falling because Government has too many hospitals to fund. and there is the corruption.

Recently, State House hospital got more money than an average government run teaching hospital. While it was wrong....even if State House clinic had been funded at an amount less than that of the government hospital...it won;t be enough.

The only solution is to raise hospital fees, raise taxes to fund the hospitals better, and make the hospital public private. Oil prices have fallen, and even then, funding was still difficult.

Modified: Cost of an incubator:900-1800us dollars

Cost of twenty incubators: 18,000- 36000 us dollars

Cost in naira: 7.2MILLION naira.(http://www.alibaba.com/showroom/baby-incubator-price.html)

20 Incubators for N7.2m is not costly for that rate every govt hospital should have enough but the funny thing is that corruption is the reason there are not of these equipment.
If you see how ministry of Health officials fight dirty over the contracts for these things you will upset. Lagos state has been investing in Health care steadily in the last 16 yrs but the ministry is the bane.
A friend of mine who is a dealer in medical equipment confided in me how his proposal to supply equipment to the ministry of health in Lagos, caused fighting among them.
The commissioner has his clique in the ministry who fronts him, some rival DGs have their own.
Firstly, He was asked to take his proposal back and inflate the cost of his equipment on his own letter heading, to include their own share when he gets paid for the supply. that clique started to hide the proposal from the other clique so that those guys won't have access to or high-jack the contract. For that reason, the proposal was delayed as the clique in possession had to find a way to get it to the guvnor for approval with the rival clique knowing.
Another instance a friend who was the only non MD in Fashola's health care advisory committee, advised the guvnor to set up more eye care units in the state's primary health centres and equip these units for eye care. Fashola requested him to recommend equipment for these Eye care units which he did in a proposal and it was approved.
When the "equipment" were supplied he went to inspect so he could report to the guvnor, he found out that they had bought refurbished used equipment and not even the specification he recommended. He wrote a memo to the ministry objecting the what he saw and sent the memo to the commissioner through his. After a while Fashola requested for his report of inspection on the equipment that was supplied, he discovered that it was what was approved and summoned the commission and health advisors, they became furious with the guy for not letting them see his report before the guvnor saw it.
it was then then that he told them he had sent the report to the commissioners office months earlier but he never got a response, he had to show them his copy of signed receipt of the original sent to the commissioner's office that what exonerated him but he became the enemy of the MDs who make the most members of the committee, for exposing their deeds.
This is just 1 or 2 of such dealings by people who in the open pretend to be doing what they are supposed to be doing in public interest. In Federal and state ministries these things are used in budgets to rake money from govt but they are never bought or at best substandard ones are bought at inflated prices, in a very short time of use these equipment falls apart.

If you don't block the leakage home even the water already leaks and the fresh water you pour leaks as well. But blocking the leaks allows the water you pour in to be retained while keeping the fresh one you add to increase.
If our resources leakage are not stopped as Jonathan allowed, our earnings from other sources will also be drained shikena!

It'll be a thing of shame.
And that's the only reason they tithe.

Romance › What Do Ladies Really Want by DeRay98(op): 12:24pm On Mar 04, 2016
WHAT DO LADIES REALLY WANT?
If you give her sex, she will say you are after
her body; if you don't give her sex she will
say you are not man enough.
If you give her money she will call you a
mugu; if you don't give her money she will
say that you are stingy and greedy.
If you are very caring she will take you for
granted; if you are not caring she will say
that you don't love her.
If you always call her she will say that you
are disturbing her; if you don't call her she
will say that you are cheating
on her.
If you dress very well she will call you a
player; if you don't dress
well she will call you a dirty guy.
If you are quiet she will say that you are too
boring. If you are not, she will say that you are too
lousy.
Help her in the kitchen she will say that this
man is a woman wrapper; if u don't help her in
the kitchen she will say that this man is
using her as a slave.
A guy told me that when he dated his first
girlfriend, she quit the relationship because
he was demanding for sex. when
he dated the second girlfriend, she quit the
relationship because he was not demanding
for sex.
SO LADIES WHAT DO YOU ACTUALLY WANT?
IF YOU ARE A LADY, I WANT YOU TO TELL US WHAT
YOU REALLY WANT IN A MAN.
WHAT IS YOUR IDEA MAN?
