Your post shows how st*upid some Nigerians are. So you think he organized occupy NASS because senators bought later SUV model than his?
You don't see anything wrong with a corrupt senate president bribing his fellow corrupt colleagues with SUVs, in broad daylight, to support and save him from legal problems!

Your pathetic mentality is one of the problems that hinder progress in this moribund country. It's difficult fighting corruption in a country where there are many like you who support corruption and see it as a norm!

Shame on you!

The sum total of all that women want from their men is to have absolute control over their man in all matters...but a man that allows this to happen (and crisis surfaced due to the fact that women are short term planners, men are long term planners) will receive the blame from same woman the next day that he was not man enough, he should have imposed himself when she was insisting on having her way.
Education › Re: Reason For High Fees And Turnout Of First Class Graduates In Private Unis. by DeRay98(m): 8:12am On Apr 11, 2016
McSterling:
Fact is many of us who attended/attend public institutions have been hardwired to think graduating with a good grade is such a big deal. This is because of the abuse of power by lecturers in public institutions. These lecturers deliberately make a fuss out of easy courses, scare students and set exams in such a way that several would fail. Sometimes they reduce your score or fail you outrightly. Imagine a lecturer telling his students before exams that nobody will get an A in his course. A lecturer of mine would hardly give an A no matter what you write, even when you churn out facts from both textbooks and notes. Makes you wonder, "what fvcking else does this man want from me?" I remember taking CHM 101 in my first year. This was practically basic chemistry. There was nothing in the course I didn't know before, but we had about 3 lecturers handling it and they made such a fuss of this course such that freshers failed en masse at the end of the day.

It is hard for us to accept that private universities like CU only do things the right way. It's more convenient to say they're substandard. It isn't so had to get a first class or second class upper, provided you're studious. That's why many Nigerians perform excellently in universities abroad. Cut out the excesses of lecturers and public institutions will probably churn out more first class students.
VERY SOLID ARGUEMENT ON THE REALITY WITH PUBLIC SCHOOLS.
THE LECTURERS ARE THE PROBLEM IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT ACCOUNTABLE TO ANYBODY HENCE THEIR DEMIGOD MENTALITY. LECTURERS STILL IN PRIVATE SCHOOLS (SAME DO TEACH IN PUBLIC SCHOOL) BUT THEY BEHAVE RIGHT BECAUSE THEY ARE ACCOUNTABLE TO THE SCHOOL MGT.
Sports › Match Stopped In Saudi Arabia As Goalkeeper Forced To Cut His 'anti-islamic Hair by DeRay98(op): 6:11am On Apr 11, 2016
A video has emerged of a football match in Saudi Arabia reportedly being stopped whilst a goalkeeper received a haircut on the sidelines.

The reasoning behind this remains unclear, but reports suggest the shotstopper's hair was deemed 'anti-Islamic' and offensive.

According to 101greatgoals, the video, which appeared on YouTube, shows the 'keeper receiving a trim on the sidelines by both the referee and a member of team staff.

[b]I will never regret voting this useless party out of Nigeria. Yes, am proud of making that decision. PDP have been playing with the lives and peace of Nigeria since Boko Haram strike in 2010.

A school was attacked burnt down and several holes were made on the wall which gives sign that shooting took place there.

This missing girls have their identity with WAEC

The principal of the school confirm the incident.

Those living in the area confirm the incident

Some of the girls escape and tell some stories about the abduction

Some parent of the missing girls have gone to their early grave due to High Blood Pressure.

Shekau shows this girls reciting a Quran verse

Some if the girls were Stone to death in a video release by Boko Haram cause they are not ready to cooperate in joining their religion.

AND this useless governor said it's a stage play... My only prayer for you is that you will witness such a stage play in your life.

I have not vote for PDP in Ekiti and I will never do so forever. This man thinks he knows everything.. I have started cursing him since he advice Buhari to devalue Naira.. Imagine a Taxi driver giving advice to a president of Nigeria. lol

_______________________________

For those of you that I quoted up there, You are the reason why Nigeria is not moving forward. I want to ask you, if Buhari fails to make Nigeria better and he is voted out in 2019 and PDP takes over. Then the APC crew should also go against the PDP candidate and he also fails to deliver and later he is voted out.

Please tell me what benefit will this be for Nigerians especially you. what will be the benefit of our unborn generations.. And you guys want to enjoy a better life like the Americans. Yet you keep playing politics with your future. FAYOSE IS YOUR ROLE MODEL. No matter how long it is for me to take over power in Ekiti. Fayose will still suffer in my hand for what he did to a family of mine.

Education › Re: Samuel Olorunfemi-Adams, UniAbuja Lecturer, Accused Of Victimization (pics) by DeRay98(m): 8:00am On Mar 31, 2016
These incidents are not isolated, they are fairly regular in all our Universities. God help you if for any reason you have an issue with a Nigerian University Lecturer, your rights do not exist, you are an orphan if your parents are not VIPs. Other Lecturers will gang up against you without anyone trying to genuinely sort things out.

i had near nasty experience with one of the female "demigod"s in my department in my penultimate year in UNIBEN (1997).

As a clinical student, i had been assigned a patient to examine for which the supervising lecturer will access my work afterwards. Due to lack of sufficient instruments for all the tests i needed to run on the patient, in which case all clinical students on duty had to share, i could not finish on time. My supervisor was in a hurry to go somewhere hence, she became impatient with disregarding the challenges i had. Her other interest was what she would sell to the patient (she had concluded that the patient would need some treatment) and she felt i was deliberately avoiding her so that once she leaves, I could corner the patient for PP.
The next day, i was not in class, i had a sporting accident while playing football match as part of our dept student association week. i was bedridden for 2 week with a collarbone fracture on my left shoulder.
In my absence, some of my classmates saw a notice on our notice board requesting me to see the clinic director and they wondered what i could have done to require me seeing one of the most feared lecturers in the dept (I was one of the "serious students", no party, no girls no drinking, fellowship-going type).
As soon as i was informed, i managed to gather myself still looking frail and stiff because of the "Figure-8" bandage around my shoulder. i had to to go the dept to see the guy before they would conclude that i was avoiding discipline.
As I walked down the road to the dept, people were scared of how i looked. As I entered the dept the Lecturer who had reported me was among the first to see me and she told me that the Clinic supervisor asked to see me.
She had reported to the Director that i violated clinic rules by cornering a patient for PP but when she saw me and my health condition she went straight to tell the director to drop the accusations against me. By the i was able to see him, he told me that my accuser had withdrawn her case against me. That's how i was saved from a possible one year "extension" of my stay in school which would have been terrible for me.
I think its high time social media threads/trends heavily on "demigod" Lecturers in Nigerian universities to show to them that they can no longer hide in their campuses are if they are islands to themselves in a global village of academia.

the late passage of 2014 budget would impact negatively on the ongoing development of capital projects across the nation.

They in Lagos said that another major impediment of the budget would be poor implementation.

Prof. Sheriffadeen Tella of the Department of Economics, Olabisi Onabanjo University Ago-Iwoye, said the budget was

Tella said that the late passage would affect budget implementation, especially in the area of capital projects.

According to him, budget delays contrary to other opinions have a multiplier effect on sectoral expansion and employment generation.

Mr Harrison Owoh, the Managing Director, H J Trust & Investment Ltd., said the budget would promote corruption.

Owoh said that many ministries would engage in fraudulent spending to avoid return of unspent funds to government coffers by December 2014.

Mr Bayo Adeleke, National Secretary, Independent Shareholders Association of Nigeria, also commended the National Assembly for passing the budget in spite the high level of politicking.

Adeleke said that politicking delayed the budget passage which was contrary to the National Assembly’s earlier pledge that it would be passed before the end of 2013.

“The implementation of the budget and its eventual impact on the living standard of Nigerians are the real issues,”Adeleke said.

The Senate and House of Representatives recently passed the 2014 budget totaling N4.695 trillion.

It was N52.2bn higher than the N4.642trn submitted by President Goodluck Jonathan.

Breakdown of the approved budget showed that N408.69 billion was earmarked for statutory transfers, N712 billion for debt service while recurrent expenditure and capital expenditure stood at N2.45 trillion and N1.12 trillion respectively.

The Minister of Finance, Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, on Dec. 19, presented N4.6 trillion proposal for 2014 fiscal year.

Ur points are valid I think Ighalo should sit down for this match I think we need a different type of forward one that can take the ball to the defenders and can stand on there shoulders and beat them with pace going by there high punts or wetin i fit call am upfield from the mildfielders and at some point if we get an early goal we can easily switch to a counter attacking formation with Iwobi moses moses and Musa
Iwobi seems better in giving the final pass than iheanacho.
iheanacho has become too goal hungry he has forgotten who he is
etebo needs to start, don't be deceived Egypt will still park the bus in their home and want to hit us on the counter
onazi will be a good sub if we take the lead to stabilize the team.
This is a match in which Isaac Success would have been useful more than Ighalo, Success is a warrior who will battle defenders allowing somebody else to do the scoring, thats not Ighalo's style of play.
Lots of our players in the team are not yet settled in the team, still self-discovering hence lack of confidence which i believe is the reason the likes of Onazi and Ambrose try to compensate for but little success.
which look out for the Olympics because NFF bungled the whole thing from after the world Cup with their myopia while fighting for positions, we are still suffering from late and inappropriate appointment of coaches, not the coaches faults but NFF's
