When she was single, i know most guys will judge her from a distance as a slut because of her sexy shape then go for the plain looking girls, thinking there marriage is safe. See.mercy still very sexy and very focused in her home.. Her husband saw a diamond which most single men couldnt see , even with their eyes open. God bless your home mercy, keep the joy in yur alive and pure . Divorce will not come knocking on yur door, cause i believe you are wise and grounded..
I always tell pretty ladies around me, dont allow society box u into a corner , which is not yours.. Always look yur best and to hell with any guy that feels cos u r sexy and pretty, u wont be a marriage material but a sex object...Your husband will locate you , and damn what people thinks. He will see the rare goodness in you and marry you.. Cause u r worth more than a diamond in his eyes. Embrace your looks, cos its God's gift. Some of such untrusted girls do a lot to prove people wrong. But it's still too early to conclude, they are less than 10 yrs together. However, if she loves family life and her family with determination she can go all the way. Divorce or separation doesn't just happen, it takes one self-centred, over-pampered, inconsiderate half among others in a pair to wreck havoc in a union. |

Politics › Suffering Continues In Akute And Alagbole Residence by DeRay98(op): 7:35pm On May 13, 2016 |
See how politicians' insensitivity imposes sufferings on us road users due to this never ending road constructions even when there is a construction at all. After years of waiting for the overdue expansion of Yakoyo, Alagbole, Akute road, residents of these areas thought their prayers have been answered when in 2013, construction of this long road began, thanks to the world bank assistance facility. But 3 yrs after, the pictures attached here are tell the story. Rumours have it that the funds meant for this project was used to settle political rivals and for re-election campaign by the current Ogun state Gov'nor. Hence, the project has been running at snail speed in sections of the road while other sections are abandoned. A commute From Ojodu-Berger to Akute which should take 20-25mins, now takes an hour, body takes the bumping, your cars go wheeeen. When I visited and spent my holiday with relatives last year, I posted pictures from same places. I am here again the area the situation has not changed.

Politics › Re: Fulanis Not Responsible For Herdsmen Attacks But Boko Haram - Lokpobiri by DeRay98(m): 12:08pm On May 11, 2016 |
cktheluckyman: ABUJA—THE Federal Government yesterday described the Fulanis who engage in cattle rearing across the country as very peaceful people who move around with the families in search of water and grasses for their cattle.
The government also said that those involved in clashes with farmers, killings and destruction of property were not Fulanis, but another gang of Boko Haram.
According to the government, the persons who have so far been arrested cannot speak any Fulani or Nigeria language.
It added that those tagged suspected Fulani were foreign terrorists from other countries.
Speaking yesterday during the Public Hearing on perennial clashes between herdsmen and farmers organized by the Senate Joint Committees on Agriculture and Rural Development and National Security and Intelligence, Minister of State, Agriculture and Rural Development, Heineken Lokpobiri, said perennial conflict was a national and regional security.
He said the problem faced by herdsmen was also faced in Cote d’Ivoire, stressing that the problem was not limited to Nigeria.
He said: “Available statistics to us in government show that contrary to media report that these violent herdsmen are the conventional Nigerian Fulanis, they are not, as none of those apprehended was able to speak any of the Nigerian languages.
‘’This gives strong credence to the possibility of the violent herdsmen to be another form of terrorists in the mode of Boko Haram.
“The problem is not Nigeria, but regional, more so, when the Nigerian Fulani man has always been known to be a peace loving person.”
Also at the public hearing, there was sharp disagreement between the farmers and herdsmen on grazing routes.
Fulani herdsmen, under the aegis of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, MACBAN, rejected the setting up of ranches and supported the establishment of grazing reserves and called on the government to create Ministry for Livestock Development.
In a 24-page presentation by the Association’s National Legal Adviser, Mohammed Bello Tukur, Miyetti Allah Cattle said: “The Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development should work with the ‘Ministries of Water Resources, Environment, National Planning, Foreign Affairs, state governments, farmer organizations, and community leaders to demarcate routes and cattle resting points with support from technical and financial partners.
http://www.vanguardngr.com/2016/05/herdsmenfarmers-clash-involved-not-fulanis-boko-haram-foreign-insurgents-fg/ This is absolute truth, as someone who grew up farming Edo state, fulanis lead their cattles along the road to grass by roadside, they don't allow their cattles to enter roadside farms or eat crops, they beat the cattles and speak to them in their language. When suddenly peaceful cattle rearers begin to get violent, I knew it's not them but hired men from poverty ridden countries like Niger, Chad etc. These guys have nothing to lose hence even they do anything. This activities have been on in parts of Edo state for some years now and it didn't come to national lime light. I am aware that some few years ago, some bini villagers were killed by the "herdsmen". The community mobilized and retaliated killing several of them and tens of cows. But nobody acknowledged the "missing" herdsmen which proves that they don't belong here. The other culprits we should address are those who employed these devil's to herdsmen probably because they accept less pay than the conventional Fulanis that we have always known. I AGREE THAT THESE ARE NOT NIGERIANS BUT FOREIGNERS. BUT DID IT JUST OCCUR TO OUR SECURITY AGENTS? |

Politics › Re: Obasanjo Drops Bombshell On Successors by DeRay98(m): 11:04am On May 10, 2016 |
This just confirmed that, PDP as a party had no policy on governance they were only in to share the money. While it's quite true that Obasanjo made some careless political blunders, which if he had been wise enough to avoid he would have become the father of a new democratic Nigeria. He did actually made some significant changes especially about civil service corruption by the monetization policy. But Yar' Adua wasted that policy, though he ensured that unspent budgetary allocations were returned to govt coffer but Jonathan gave all that back to civil servants. Obasanjo paid all our external debt, giving room for our budgets to be spent on development instead debt servicing. Jonathan, after doing Father Christmas with our revenues he took us back debt market to enslave to the European neo-colonialists. Obasanjo's policies could have been improved on and bettered by his successors, Yar' Adua's death and Obasanjo's miscalculations of giving a weak ambitionless Jonathan as his deputy instead of a strong intelligent charismatic and sound minded Donald Duke, ruined everything thing and threw Nig back to post- democracy pains and retrogression. |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: FG Takes Over Recruitment Duties From Teaching Hospitals by DeRay98(m): 7:09am On May 10, 2016 |
Wagasigiungu: I beg to disagree with you sir. While I can't completely rule out the possibility of such so called "voodoo" recruitment, I believe the probability of it being as pervasive as the status quo, is low. You ask why? Simply because the various cadres of healthcare professionals viz medical doctors, medical lab scientists, dental doctors, pharmacists, nurses, optometrists, etc are still grossly insufficient (though this is fast changing with the ways some institutions are churning out graduates of this professions) compared to other professional and non-professional courses. In other words, it may be more transparent than what obtains in the current system. The teaching hospitals just refuse to employ regular residents and rely on supernumerary resident doctors and few interns, hence the general dearth of these professionals in these hospitals. Thus you find a lot of prospective resident doctors who hv already bagged the necessary pre-requisite of primaries qualifications in their chosen specialities wasting away years without getting placement, with some evn exceeding the stipulated expiration dates fr d validity The CMDs are the bane of these healthcare institutions, their incompetence, above the law mentality, non-challance, dirty politics, mismanagement and diversion of fundsetc. |

The greatest propaganda was from PDP . AIT and NTA. What about minesterial briefings, what of O YES, Youth empowerment propaganda, Nollywood support propaganda, what about Railway coaches being taken from track to track to deceive poor young Nigerians. What about Jonathan commissioning plants that were three years old?. APC took it for six years, PDP supporters have to take it as well. Let us stop childish anateurish thinking Nigerians are just not sensible. Everybody behave like a child. A mature person will keep his mouth shut about propaganda. Car Talk › The Major cause Of The Incessant Tyre Burst Accidents On Nigerian Roads by DeRay98(op): 6:21pm On May 03, 2016 |
IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO ALL VEHICLE USERS!
Good morning everyone. Many people have been wondering what could be the cause of the incessant tyre burst accidents on Nigerian roads. The major cause is that we put to much pressure in our tyres. How did I know?
I was preparing for a journey, I changed some of my tyres and I asked the vulcanizer that ' what is the recommended tyre pressure? ' He said 50. I said alright, he should inflate it to 50 all round.
When I got to where I was going, I was discussing with some ppl on the issue of the minister that died on the road due to a burst tyre and wonder what could have happened because nobody could imagine a minister would be travelling with expired tyres as many would think is the major cause of tyre burst.
A man ( lived in US for many years ) said that the major cause of tyre burst in Nigeria is that we put to much pressure in our tyres and that each car has recommended tyre size and pressure clearly written on it by the manufacturer. I was surprised and begged him to come and show me where it's written on my car. To my greatest surprise, it's by the drivers door which I enter everyday without noticing it. By the time we checked, the recommended pressure for my tyres is 32! and I just traveled with tyres on a pressure of 50! He took me round his compound and showed me that of the cars (which includes a jeep and a sienna) there, the highest was 32. some were even 29!
He further explained that tyres are made of rubber and expands at high temperature. So, when yu are travelling in the afternoon when the asphalt on the road is hot, the tyre will want to expand. If the pressure in the tyre is to much and wouldn't accommodate the expansion, a burst is likely to happen at that time.
Pls check the recommended tyre pressure for your vehicle and others you know.
As many as possible Nigerians needs to read this. thanks
Kindly share this message. adopted

Health › Re: Why You Should not get eye drops without prescription by DeRay98(m): 11:32am On May 02, 2016 |
rexbuton: Thanks for the positive feedback and apologies for the delay. Per the optician, optometrist, ophthalmologist dilemma, I'd like to discuss it using the Nigerian situation because information found on the internet may not be wholly applicable to our case. Also, I'd like to point out that the levels and extent of basic healthcare provided in a domain is set and limited by legislature. Two individuals with the same qualification in different countries may offer differing level of care. And if the act establishing these professions is amended tomorrow, this discourse becomes a history leSSON
OPTICIANRY An optician is a professional who is trained in dispensing optics, and is capable of receiving, interpreting and supplying ophthalmic lenses ; spectacles, contact lenses and low vision aids. An optician can independently sell frames, sunglasses, artificial eyes, cosmetic contact lenses and even Oculus Rift. Dispensing optics is a two or three year programme done Diploma-style in optometry schools. Their regulatory board is the ODORBN- Optometry and dispensing optician regulatory board etc.
OPTOMETRY An optometrist is an individual who has completed a 6yr optometry programme and awarded doctor of optometry. He is expected to complete a single year internship programme. The course has its own fellowship and post graduate schools and a newly inaugurated residency programme. An optom as I prefer to call them is capable of handling ocular emergencies, infective cases, refraction leading to prescription of glasses and contact lenses, treats eye ailments, low vision rehab and orthoptics. In Nigeria, refraction, LV and orthoptics are their exclusive preserve. LV and orthoptics are specialty areas, saying every optom can do them is like saying every MD can do a cardio bypass shunt surgery or neurosurgery. I'd like to point out that the ailments treated have a limit , however this should not concern the layman as optometrist are involved in the co-managment of every case. At their set limits, they are expected to refer. Common cases referred are cataract surgery, deep penetrating/perforating corneal injury, laser trabeculoplasty, photo coagulation and ocular/orbital tumours. Optom also do dispensing optics in school, herein lies a problem that would be seen later.
OPHTHALMOLOGY An ophthalmologist is a medical doctor that after completing his MBBS, went on to specialize in ophthalmology. From his MBBS experience, he is able to carry out surgery, though most of the special skill is learnt at the post graduate level. So, he can practice general medicine and do ocular work too. Considering the fact that he is often in a general hospital, most patients get to meet him first thus bypassing the optom. And at the limit of his powers, he refers refractive cases to the optom, and this fuels the stereotype that optom only does glasses. And economically it is more viable to employ ophthalm considering their versatility in general practice. And moreover there are just five or six optom schools in Nigeria.
GREY AREAS AND HOTSPOTS The optician and optom have overlapping points and it breeds conflict often. Most optom send their jobs to opticians but this doesn't stop the optician from engaging in illicit behaviour such as refracting patients and giving drugs. I ran a screening programme for a multinational a few years back, and we had men from every group on our team- we even have hype men and bouncers at times [sic] … I observed that my optician was jotting like ManUtd manager, when I got closer after a while, I saw she had written complaints and drugs given.. That's how they start. We also see lots of optom and ophthalmol that practice beyond their scope. Lots of! Another issue is that of employment in the civil service. I don't want to discuss those issues but to appeal to all parties to act on the philosophy of mutual respect and human dignity. I hope I remained impartial throughout . I don't know your field in eye care, but you have tried to handle this response very sensibly and professionally with some good research rather than rely on assumptions to define the three Eye related fields.kudos! The topic can not be over-flogged as lots of Nigerians generally believe they can outsmart eye care professionals who have spent years of their lives to study to render this all sensitive care. I'm in the eye care fields and i see these things frequently. people think that they can just get any one drop from the "chemist" whern they have what they think is a minor eye problem and its over. Many believe its the eye professionals will charge lots of many for "simple" eye problems. eventually it becomes "penny wise, pounds foolish" because what they could have spent N5000 to fix in time will end up costing tens of thousands later due to "smart" choices. |

walexsy: This thread is just so God-sent to me....I've been having this eye pain as a result of domestic violence since Wednesday... I dare not look at any object closely,a sharp light sensitivity, I even had to reduce my phone's backlight to it's minimum level and most worrying of all,the eye that got hit is seeing things blurry... I started using an eye drop(Gentalab/Gentamicin)I avnt really seen any difference except the reddened eye looks a bit whiter...doctors in the house pls come to my aid...should I continue with the eye drop or not... if no,I won't mind a prescription here...
I went to an hospital(federal one)just this morning to complain only to be reminded its a public holiday.... The fact that you were involved in a domestic violence incident and the eye pain with focusing and light sensitivity, indicates that you have been hit in the eye with a strong likelihood of anterior chamber hemorrhage. the blood from the hemorrhage will act as glue to append the crystalline lens and or iris with the cornea. this condition is emergency that needs timely assessment and treatment with properly in 48-72hrs, it can get complicated when the blood clots and surgery will be inevitable. So, an Ophthalmologist or Optometrist can help you out, if you delay ophthalmologist will have to perform surgery to limit the damage. since, FMC is on holiday, look for a private eye clinic with an Optometrist, NOT an OPTICIAN. |
