rudedough: Honestly i don't know why Nigerians are getting all worked up about an honorary PhD degree. The level of ignorance in our country is alarming even our supposedly educated press.. Who gives half-a-$hit about an honorary degree? grin grin
It is one of cardinal reasons I want Nigeria to be disintegrated. There are cross sections of Nigerians I honestly do not want them to be my compatriots. Anything short of disintegration of Nigeria is resolutely unacceptable.

mad nigerian: OK...Stella's CV says PHd was from PACIFIC CHRSTIAN UNIVERSITY IN GLENDALE CALIFORNIA.
While the Hope International University IS LOCATED IN FULLERTON CALIFORNIA , AND WAS A CHANGE OF NAME FROMPACIFIC CHRSTIAN COLLEGE WHICH WAS NEVER LOCATED IN GLENDALE CALIFORNIA.

From Wikipedia...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hope_International_University.

History[edit]

Hope International University was founded in 1928 as Pacific Bible Seminary, and in 1963 was renamed Pacific Christian College following the move to Long Beach, California. In 1997 they achieved university status and took the corporate name of Hope International University. In the fall 2011, Hope transitioned from consisting of two colleges: Pacific Christian College (traditional, residential undergraduate) and the School of Graduate and Professional Studies (for working adults, on-line/distance education Bachelors Degrees, Master's Degrees).

So you see, not in Glendale, and BTW...does not offer PhD's either.

Stella got her Phd in 1998...from Pacific Christian University, Glendale California....which clearly does not exist....as Hope International University was NEVER in Glendale California.

Sorry, you are defending the indefensible here.

You are the really incurable jackass in this discourse since you have already accused Stella Oduah of certificate forgery in a previous thread. Now that Stella Oduah’s CV does not contain MS degree, a bloody nitwit such as you has resorted to asking idiotic questions.

Why do you not freaking shut up your putrid loud mouth?

omar22: But if you accept a role based on your qualification then at any point they could ask you to provide your certificate, mostly if they feel that you committed an act of deception and mostly this occurs at the professional level
There is no stated qualification for a position of Nigerian minister of aviation. Such appointment is pure political appointment and, in fact, the appointer could have appointed a market woman to the post. The people like Alhaji Tanko Galadima never saw the four walls of any higher institution in Nigeria when he became Nigerian acting minister of defense.

In fact, if the northern region of Nigeria did not have a considerable number of formally educated folks today, there shall never be a Senate screening of ministerial appointees.

Now you "sin-seer" nigerian see no 'sin' in what Oduah has done probably because you are a huckster of this administration or you come from her geo-poli zone. You see why people keep saying this government is at the apex of tribalism like the Shagari regime?

So many scandals around the woman, yet Mr President has kept mum about it. 2015 is coming!

Frawzey tongue
What have you done to a former minister of aviation who has publicly stated he committed all forms of corruption while in office?

According to your mantra, the crap you spewed in the above post is due to the fact that the current minister of aviation is not form your “ geo-poli zone”.

Princess Stella Oduah had made sure that Yoruba and Bi-Courtenay do not have stranglehold on Nigerian aviation sector.

We will not rest till she is fired. She is indeed an embarrassment to womanhood, motherhood, Nigeria and indeed the rest of world. No amount of counter-propaganda can perfume the odor of evil that oozes out of this Jezebel! - CramJones

My above opinion have been expressed by Nasir El-Rufai, Femi Fani-Kayode and majority of Nigerians that want a progressive and great Nigeria beyond 2015!
Even if Stella Oduah decides to resign as Nigerian minister of aviation, Yoruba and Bi-Courtenay can not regain the control of aviation sector in Nigeria.

Those who designed the constitution envisaged that the 3 arms of government will check each other.

When the legislature sits and pass bills in the bedroom of the executives, under the supervision of the executives then democracy has failed. The legislature has sold their independence. At the end of the day the populace will suffer as what ever bill is passed will just be through paddy paddy arrangement between the executives and the legislators for their personal benefits.

No surprise anyway, recently we saw a speaker of one of the states kneeling before one of the 'progressive' governors.

So they can as well pass bills in the governor's bedroom.

However there were many indigenous ethnic groups in Sierra Leone before the repatriation of freed slaves (recaptives) to Freetown. The nonsensical Yari,ba crap surfaced when British colonialists invited some of the educated returnees to Lagos for colonial jobs. Bishop Crowther was equally returnee, if not, why would he look the direction of Sierra Leone for help in translating bible in Yari,ba when the Lagos Colony was the home of Yari,ba?

It is unfortunate that Yari,ba distortion of historical facts has been allowed to exist in Nigeria without challenge for too long. The nonsensical acts of distortion gained roots in Nigerians society during the Nigeria/Biafra civil war.

Mr. Gull, what are you on about. Sadly there are many non competitive 4 year colleges in the USA and they are non challenging. Did I not warn you about falling into certain cracks intellectually? It is good you mentioned many historically black 4 year colleges were non competitive 4 year colleges. You have the liberty to stereotype because it is human to do so. Surely funding matters but it is not all that matters in formal education.
Mr. Gull,

I need your help in clarifying one or two issues. Stella Oduah graduated from Zixton Grammer School, in the Anambra State town of Ozubulu in Nza village, in 1978, when she was approx. 16 years old. Then she went to school in the USA from 1978 - 1982.

We know that the earliest high school graduation would occur in May of any year. Assuming that Stella left for the USA immediately after she graduated, then she must have completed her studies, at the latest, December 1978.

So Mr. Gull, this means that Stella obtained both a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree within 3 - 3.5 years. My problem is, I do not think this is possible. Would you please try to explain this to me? Thank you. Dalu o.
Are you trying very hard to tell me you have not heard about a twenty (20) old graduate of 4-year university program? Nigeria is in a serious socio-political problem if the cross section of its cream of crop articulates in the same manner as you did. Some kids already earned Ph.D at 26 in USA.

Today’s Nigerian high school students seemed to be lazy and heavily distracted. In the 70s and earlier 80s, academically endowed Nigerian students cleared their GCE papers before taking WAEC. In fact, students whose parents were loaded, like Stella Oduah, had already left the shores of cesspit called Nigeria before the month of May rolls around.

It is a crap such as above junk from demented and ill-educated reprobate envisages indelible enmity between Yari,ba people and Ndigbo. Nobody in Biafra or Igbo land expected any free passage from Yari,ba but had expected inherently cowered people to evict Gowon who had made Lagos a comfortable home from where he and Nigerians attacked Biafra.

Contrary to your silly conjectural crap, Biafrans had no interest in fighting anybody rather wanted a country different from the cesspit called Nigeria which was/is filled to the brink with regrettable villains such as you.
Q. Where did she complete her first degree ?
Your ans. St. Paul’s College Lawrenceville !

Q. In the following passage, what does the statement "so she immediately stayed back" relate to ?
Your ans. it could mean staying back in the USA or staying back at St Pauls College .

Now, it's my turn. And, i believe i speak for like minds !

First, i will like to clarify that U.S.A is not an educational institution it is a country . Awodman take note ! grin

Since you "awodman" claim she (stella's) staying back could mean anything. We (speaking for like minds) accept this as a fact.

That Stella Oduah, successfully completed her Master degree in the United States. Though, there are no clear documents stating which "University" she got her Master's degree from.

Nevertheless, it can't be from St.Paul cos they don't award such degree's in that (St.Paul) institution. But Stella Master's degree is from an accredited American Institution, not a Nigerian, British, Ghanaian or South African Institution.

Hence, Stella must present a masters degree from 1983, to Nigeria citizen's and this degree must be an American Degree (Masters).

Get the undiscerning reader to accept the veracity of the first claim, which may or may not be true (before proceeding to St. Paul’s College Lawrenceville from 1978-1982, where she bagged her first Degree in Accounting. On completion of her first degree). Then tunnel the second and more important assertion (payload) which you know to be false - so she immediately stayed back to study for her Masters Degree which she achieved in 1983) - while leaving just enough wiggle room to feign complete innocence if found out. Brilliant!

Would you not agree that only a dullard will conclude that the statement “she immediately stayed back to study for her Masters Degree which she achieved in 1983” meant she stayed back at St. Paul’s College Lawrenceville?

From the context of the paragraph, the statement “she immediately stayed back to study for her Masters Degree which she achieved in 1983” meant she stayed back in USA to pursue her masters degree instead of returning to Nigeria.
