The PU on the next street after where I live in Ajangbadi, see older and elderly Yoruba people selling what is left of their years on earth for peanuts while thumbprinting APC. The good part is this; the younger Yoruba generation and other tribes were so not doing the APC facade. It would have degenerated into a tribal exchange but for the fact that it was the younger Yoruba generation that bluntly told the elders they are free to vote who they want, but there will be no sharing of money anywhere around the PU; that they can gather anywhere else to do that but not here. They also stayed behind until the votes were counted and uploaded. LP won but with a slim margin. And these guys, despite always being seen on the streets, definitely impressed me. |
I don't understand the battle against 'YORUBA people'. Which OBIdients are then delivering PUs all over Lagos? Or are you inadvertently saying there are more Igbos living all around Lagos than Yorubas? Common sense nah gold, las las. E no common at all. |
Melezenawii:However, It was a win for the ELECTORAL VIOLENCE implemented by the APC as a counter. God Bless? Una no dey fear God sha. Dey play. |
Officialgarri:Life happened. We suspended our daily livelihood to vote yesterday but we must return to that life that has so dutifully paid our bills, irrespective of the outcome. Not everybody feeds off the APC government or revels in a life built on a foundation of falsehood😌. |
Slynation:For them, there's an added catch. If you watch their posting times and frequency, you'd see they do this for a living. If Tinubu wins, it's more bonuses and recommendation for their disinformation team. Unlike other genuinely busy people who post in early hours of the morning, during breaks or evenings when they're off work, these guys have no timetable and they get paid to distort infos in favour of their paymasters 24/7. Maybe the cost of living gets high but that'll really affect those who have dependents and are trying to make a honest living; hence the clamour for a better Nigeria. |
lhordspy:Did you carefully select the results 'not signed' by the labour party agents or your mind also did not go there? 😂 Even the one signed was the same writing from start to finish. Urchins dumb normally.
|
Agonglo17:'Ibo people' keh? Have you seen the results from Lagos? It is obvious this is not a tribal battle. The citizens are united on this one. And we shall achieve it! As for the other one saying they're waiting for OBIdients to start burning down things in protest, he thinks we must be like them who were burning down election materials on live TV yesterday. |
internationalman:To be factual, you needed to smuggle in the Messi goal in a Ronaldo discussion. It figures you're seeking validation.😌 |
internationalman:Bros, it wasn't news because it isn't news. Nobody dey watch Ligue 1 😂 |
KingKO22:Should we take the Twitter text over the 'See your life' with a picture of the results? You no even Sabi screenshot😐 |
Oki aruruala |
I now believe Labour Party are just 4 people tweeting in a room. See how many votes they managed to secure in a PU in Tinubu's Lagos https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YB7bIlEqTXE |
Bruhhhmmmm.. Brooooooom.. Broooooommm |
MiztaDynameek:Normally, Urchins no dey get sense. Simple due diligence nah problem for Una; the reason you can't think yourself out of your oppressors chains.
|
We know why Ojo is on that list. APC has never won Ojo at any level of elections. Not in 2015, not in 2019. Not at Presidential or State levels. But Una go still fail. Ojo is OBIdient. |
My dear INEC, our prayers are actually against the demons that will possess your agents today. We saw how they were arresting people (APC & PDP agents) with the supposedly scarce notes in huge quantities. I also see mini demons rejoicing that their party has bribery strength. There is no doubt their primary target is INEC and it is the demons the prayers are meant for. |
You dey whyne 😂 Ala Imo is OBIdient. We believe in the fruits of our LABOUR; not wealth without enterprise. |
N3TRAL:Who else will know more about what Rivers people can do or cannot do than a BATist from faraway SW? Dey play |
It's no longer VOTE WISELY. Some people's wisdom resulted in the past 8 years. It's VOTE PETER OBI - BABA AHMED DATTI 2023. |
These guys need jobs. How can they be feeling important over an already obvious fact? |
Why is it that whenever opposition are trying to show 'Labour Party' giving shishi, it is always pictures of the shishi in a packaged container, but never the party agents in full regalia or with people around to receive them. Are they meant for ghosts? Or is it just someone showcasing their skills in delivering print jobs for one propaganda or the other? 😐 |
blabulu2000:How convenient to cherry pick 4 years out of 24 years to hint at Marginalisation even when a Yoruba man was the No. 1 political figure in Nigeria from the inception of this republic and for 8 years out of 24. A salient reminder that there are 3 major tribes in Nigeria. And even this elections is not about tribe. It's about Character, Competence and Capacity. |
Thank you very much. Calling bribes all manner of silly names has to stop. What the f**k is mobilize? If being a political leader is the only means of livelihood they have, then they have no business being in Labour Party. |
gaby:I remember hearing he was late. |
N3TRAL:The number of times you keep repeating this litany is beginning to look like you're trying to convince yourself 🤔 |
Parallel Government. APC fighting APC. |
danielgod:Bruuuuhhhh.. I was practically seeing those manuscripts in my sleep. |
Abuse of grammar. This is the definition of storm verbTinubu storms ?? He can't even climb unto a van by himself. Where will the energy and balance for storming come from? 😴 |
That is an evil wish taken too far. But that doesn't count for you, Lhordspy. You sef know say you no get sense normally 😎 And lie too full your side; right now, only you dey live for Lafia, Kaduna, even South West. I no sure say Good Morning from you dey believable. Person gats open window check. |
Obaofaba:Nigerians will gain from a cashless economy (for a start, all of those kidnapping news we regularly hear about in APC-controlled states have dropped drastically). Trust Obi to always put Nigerians first. Trust Urchins to forget we shop at the same markets eventually. |
enonche85:Lol. Somebody that disappeared in the scheme of things. I didn't even remember she existed again as I never had to deal with her again nah. Just finished my work; submitted to the HOD and that was it. |
We've come a long way. It was during my project defence in final year. My supervisor then was always in UNN, I was schooling at ASUTECH renamed ANSU (now COOU). You know the normal if you write table of content, bring for approval or disapproval; if you write literature review, bring for approval or disapproval; That was how a Lagos-bred young man from Imo whose parents sent to school in Anambra was just flying up and down and spending excess time in Enugu state on top Project matter. The date was near, this woman kept dutifully rejecting my work upandan, I kept rewriting and re-presenting; sometimes successful, sometimes I will be sent back to drawing board. 2 days to the Monday and Tuesday we will defend (I will defend on Tuesday) and she was still analysing. That's how I took a chance and started typing my work. Even on the day of the defence, I was still typing. My topic was 'Applications of Complex Analysis'. Diagrams and equations took a lot of time even though the other parts were ready. My friend came with his bike to pick me to the venue, when the last person before me was on the podium. I packed my unfinished work, manuscript and everything; clad in my suit I borrowed from a heftier friend at IMSU then, and zoomed off to the room. I had not even stepped in when the supervisor screamed "I did not approve this work o". Like WTF!! I couldn't believe my ears. Was her intention to make me lag behind while others moved on? I approached the panel and explained to them when I started and why I got delayed. They told me to go back to my supervisor. I went back to her, she wouldn't have it. I started pleading. All of this was happening with everyone watching. I was almost losing it; until hope came through with the voice of the HOD who asked if I was confident in what I did. I replied him that every page in this booklet was prepared by me and I don't even need to look at it to remember and he override the supervisor and asked that I present my work then. And present my work, I did. I think I put on a hell of a show but I remembered clearly, the closing remark by one of the lecturers on the audience. He said "I've listened to all defences from yesterday till today but this is the first work I can actually agree that the student did a thorough job. Well done". The applause and chants of my nickname that followed left me grinning from ear to ear. Needless to say, I was asked to tidy up my work and submit for stamping as a formality, but there is no doubt about the grade on the work. |
