From experience, I prefer white bosses abeg (specifically, European/American). They do not value most of all these rigidity and power Nigerian bosses put front to assert authority. In addition, they pay attention to other perks that improve your personal life.

Then, the Chinaza Philip repitition is mere coincidence. Kidnappers should not be given an easy hand at all. All possible information should be milked from him and he be locked up in a place he will not see light for 2 decades.

I hope the powers that be are paying attention to those who wish to return Nairaland to the cesspit it was close to becoming. The same persons complaining endlessly about the genuine move to sanitize it.

Leave twitter nonsense on X. Who knows? The one here was probably escalated to dangerous levels by imported materials. If you haven't noticed, the discussions are now becoming issue-based.

PoliticsRe: LIRS Affirms January 31 Deadline For Employers To Submit Annual Tax Returns by DesChyko: 6:58am On Jan 16, 2024
It's not all about taxation. We should also be getting tax rebates too from some income. The taxes on portions of my income used for my kids education and our general healthcare ought to be reimbursed to me. Even performance related bonuses, which qualify as gifts! Once I can provide proof of those expenditure, that should be easy.

But LIRS is a one-way traffic. Once it goes in, it's gone.
SportsRe: OFFICIAL: Leo Messi Wins The Best FIFA Men’s Player 2023. by DesChyko: 6:51am On Jan 16, 2024
OJEEMAH:
unless you don’t know. FIFA & French Football Magazine have different calendars

Balon D’or is judged by season performance.

FIFA award is based on what you achieved between the time under review.

Benzema didn’t win 2022 FIFA award for this reason.

I am not inventing anything. FIFA and French football made it public sometime ago because more people are getting confused abt this award.

I will share it as soon as I see it. A thread was even created on NL
Well, I just gave you the document guiding this award's criteria and the World Cup year wasn't inclusive of the dates marked out for this award.

My remark on the non-existent standby FIFA Calendar is that the dates given for Men's POTY 2022 is 8/1/2021 to 12/18/2022 (15 months +). For Men's POTY 2023 is 12/19/2022 to 8/20/2023 (exactly 8 months). The disparity nullifies anything about a regularised calendar claim in this case.

That being said, the World Cup edition was strictly 2022. Instead of trying to make sense of the obvious gaffe, It makes more sense rather, to blame the participants, who probably didn't understand or bother with the rules anyway 🫤

SportsRe: OFFICIAL: Leo Messi Wins The Best FIFA Men’s Player 2023. by DesChyko: 6:23am On Jan 16, 2024
OJEEMAH:
World Cup ended on the 18th of Dec 2022. If they had played World Cup during the summer, it would have been different but new FIFA calendar starts in December every year.

The coaches and captains that voted know this
The dates are clearly documented and defined as 'performance on the pitch from 12/19 to 8/20.

There is no such thing as this FIFA Calendar you're inventing in this case. 🫤

SportsRe: OFFICIAL: Leo Messi Wins The Best FIFA Men’s Player 2023. by DesChyko: 6:15am On Jan 16, 2024
OJEEMAH:
His World Cup victory is still within 2023 FIFA calendar.
Nope. The end date of FIFA The Best 2022 was December 18.
SportsRe: OFFICIAL: Leo Messi Wins The Best FIFA Men’s Player 2023. by DesChyko:
Interesting.

If Messi won FIFA The Best 2022 for his exploits at the World Cup 2022, for what reason did he win 2023, especially as Inter Miami weren't the best team, nor he the best performer out of the US in 2023 and the World Cup was not under the year in review.

This is ridiculous. It's probably a good thing all the three finalists including him boycotted the event.
SportsRe: How Will You Handle The News Of Ronaldo And Messi's Retirement From Football? by DesChyko: 6:14am On Jan 15, 2024
Everything must come to an end. At this point, many people are waiting for their respective careers to come to an end. Whatever they are achieving now are whispers of what had been. In the peak of their careers, these milestones were expected, even if they were not met.

They have done well for themselves but time eventually catches up with everything.

flokii:
I'm curious.. why are you Igbos always so fixated on other people's lands and politics?. Why can't you guys channel your energy to the South East and make meaningful impacts there??.

I don't go about screaming that I want a seperate country like you lots do.. You want your separate country yet y'all are always quick to quote constitution and claim rights you don't allow others have in the South East.

He who comes to equity must come with clean hands.. do to others what you want done to you.
If other tribes can't have free hand in the South East, then South Easterners should not be allowed free hand in other parts of the country.
I listed about 6 points that makes one eligible to vote and asked you to point out one in support of the violent disenfranchisement you passionately preach. In your submission, you didn't back yourself with any.

In a nutshell, there is no section of the constitution that supports the disenfranchisement you are pushing for.. Now that we have established that, let's get down to the facts that matter.

You often parade yourself as a patriotic citizen. Take a look at how convenient it was for you to suspend the Nigerian constitution on the altar of self gratification. Now answer this question, especially with your most recent deeds in mind,

"Are you really a patriotic Nigerian or an emergency lover of Nigeria?"

Most smart people will know that question was rhetorical.
