Chanchit:I am with you, guy on Siasia. I hold that guy in high esteem. When it comes to coaching he has something that most of our local coaches lack. He locks his ego and sentiments in his cupboard at home and plays to give Nigerians a good match as well as victory. You may deny this but one can not deny how obvious his tactics and how fluid the teams he coaches are. |

It still intrigues me as to why those APC members decided to hold a meeting, in a venue outside their chambers on an Inauguration Day.Politics can be interesting at times, with all the drama, prologue, climax et al! Season eight is definitely going to be very interesting. |
Tlovely:I take this match to be a morale booster. The jittery defense cost us outright victory. I believe the girls will do even better in their next match. Five years ago who could have dreamt of our girls playing a draw with Sweden at the Senior Level. The female team is of international standard at last. Can't wait to watch the next match? |
Just one more goal, girls! |
I see the Swedes getting tired and our girls winning this game. It is happening already. |
What did any one expect before? If the president has to fly in from London a few hours before his inauguration, it should be a clear indicator of the location of those who will be calling the shots. Does any one need a soothsayer to decode what to expect? |
Awoniyi. Now I know why they left him upfront alone, to do 3 men's job. He gets 10 chances, misses 7 and scores 3. Not bad at all. |
GTV, ghana Tv is showing it live. Watch it there. |
Goal!!!!! NIGERIA 1 0Hungary. |
arigold1304:GTV, Ghana Tv, just started showing it now! Nigeria scores. |
BVN means Biometric Verification Number. It is the the number you get from the bank after your picture, finger prints and signature have been captured electronically and successfully added to the data base. You do not get this number immediately you enrole, but within 24 hours after enroling. The essence of the BVN is to ease banking transactions and equally check fraud and corruption. With your BVN you can cash third party checks in any bank without presenting any means of identification, in the near future. Your BVN will suffice. The last government was working towards integrating the Identification data bases in the country. As such your National Identity Card, Voter's Card, NDL, international passport and all others will be linked to your bank details. That way, all transactions originated, consummated or terminated by you can easily be linked to you. I guess that is what the last president, GEJ,was referring to when he said they were working on fighting corruption with institutions and technology. The next stage in the process is to get and provide your National Identity Number to you bank. This I believe can be gotten from the DNCR office near you. The banks will soon demand for that. However, back to the BVN, if you register and get the number in one bank. You do not have to register in other banks where you have accounts. You only need to submit the initial BVN to your other banks for them to update your records. It is expected that at a time CBN will mandate banks to block all accounts without BVN. So ensure you update ALL your accounts with your BVN, as soon as you can. You can even register in a bank that you do not have account. Enjoy a new Nigeria! |
Good for him and all concerned. That was the honorable thing to do. |
trigar12:He was beaten 4 good times by the Brazilians and you are asking for more. Beaters. Bros, easy now. |
Congratulations to GMB? |

Apple has bought Chinedu Echeruo’s HopStop.com, The Wall Street Journal’s publication, AllThingsDigital reports. Founded in 2005, HopStop.com makes mobile applications for both iOS and Android that covers over 300 cities and that helps people get directions or find nearby subway stations and bus stops. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed as at the time of this report. Chinedu Echeruo, formerly an analyst at investment banks and hedge funds, founded HopStop in 2005. Echeruo is now Chairman of the Board for HopStop. HopStop has been compared to Israel’s Waze which was recently acquired by Google for $1 billion. The move is seen as Apple’s plan to bolster its map offering especially given Google’s recent acquisition of Waze. A serial entrepreneur, Chinedu Echeruo grew up in Eastern Nigeria and attended Kings College, Lagos. He attended Syracuse University and the Harvard Business School in the United States and founded HopStop.com after working for several years in the Mergers & Acquisitions and Leveraged Finance groups of J.P Morgan Chase where he was involved in a broad range of M&A, Financing and Private Equity transactions. He also worked at AM Investment Partners, a $500 million volatility-driven convertible bond arbitrage hedge fund. He founded and raised nearly $8 million for his two U.S based internet companies: Hopstop.com andTripology.com. Tripology.com was acquired in 2010 by American travel and navigation information company, Rand McNally. True to form, Echeruo is working on yet another venture but this time, focused on small businesses in Africa. According to him, “there is no reason why every entrepreneur should have to reinvent the wheel every single time in all the countries in Africa. My idea is to essentially have one place where a budding entrepreneur can access a template for starting a business, and then customize it to suit their own situation; essentially, a business-in-a-box.” SOURCE . thisdaylive.com |
What did you expect, when people a trecking and cross crossing the country for him. I pray we do not enter another serious suffering and austerity phase where essential commodities will be handed out in queues. Well few will understand what I am referring to. |
Is that not 'otangele'. Powdered lead, used by women as make up for the eye. Hear it is good for the eye. I guess what you snapped here is a container for make up. It used to be in a simple and crude metal but some one creative gave it this arty and beautiful. Op, kindly investigate and revert with your findings! |
steppin:You got me crackling there. |
Your conscience has already judged you and found you wanting. Do the needful repent and move on in a righteous kind of manner. Fornication is bad enough in itself , but ignoring the benefits of holy communion and letting the lure of flesh control you is something else. Do the needful, ok and desist from such acts in future. May God help you. |
oloriooko:Don't mind them, Bro. A clear cut case of misplaced priorities. All the same thanks to Nairaland sports sections. We would have still been in the dark as to the fate of the Dream team. I just couldn't get any where to watch the match. |

Thank God! I have so much faith in Siasia as a coach and he did not disappoint me. I believe he will one day coach the super eagles again. Congratulations to the Dream Team. Inching closer to the Olympics with this qualifications. |
I expect Siasia and his lads to snatch the ticket from the Zambians. Where can one watch this match live? |
The match was supposed to kick off 2:0 pm Nigerian time. |
I lost some cash and my IPhone 4 to a group like this that operated along the new Opi- Abakpa Nike road. The just stood on the road and stopped vehicles, collecting valuables from passengers . There was a fair tall guy with an unmistakable Fulani accent among them. On that fateful day, they finished their operations and disappeared into the forest with a hostage. The names here appear to resemble a collection of the heavily armed guys that attacked our vehicle on that day. A mixture of Fulani's and Ibo guys. Though they all appeared young. |
I think you have some critical decisions to make now before it is too late. You have to choose between your dream/future and the girl. If you feel you don't have future with the girl in it. Then you have to tell her it is time for a break. It will not be easy, but you can do it. If on the other hand you feel that you can not do without the girl. Then marry her and face the future together with her. But before you go ahead with the marriage plans, you must take some time, say 3 months during which you must abstain, pray and seek God's plans for your life. Finally, the best way to move forward is to clean up your acts and forgive yourself. You may have sinned, but He is still a forgiving God and he will not forsake you. But you are the one that will make the reconciliatory move and take a decision to keep on the straight and narrow path. Nothing kills our dreams like a guilty state of mind. You can reclaim whatever you have lost. Good luck. |
One day Nigeria will look for some one like Goodluck Jonathan and they will not find any. |
