But the bitter truth is, a president is not elected to be the president of the millions of people who love him or have die hard affection for him, he is president for those who love him, those who don't and the independents.

His VP choice can help him in NE and NW. Remember Buhari is not going to be on the ballot in 2023 to deliver bloc Northern vote. If he choses someone like Kwakwanso / Tambuwal or Sanusi as VP, that might help his case. He could get up to 4 SS states.
