Some people dont expect to marry from tribes that are well known for kidnapping or incestuous relationships as well,
You dont expect someone to marry from a place where the father in law could have been tossing the gal the night before
or from a place where the wives family are experts at killing their husband to inherit properties

My friend  just got involved with this chick.And of course,they are both from a particular Nigerian state.But this guy`s tribe in that particular state has an unsavoury reputation .so,when the girl demanded to know his tribe,he had to lie about it.

I don't think many people are bothered with your HND or the type of degree you get, people are more concerned about where you've been, what you've achieved with your life and what you are capable of achieving in the future.

If you can't get into an MBA program in a red brick (peharps because your experience is not sufficient enough) , consider taking an MSc degree, still from a top school. . .the funny side to it is that it doesn't matter what your MSc degree is specialized in, a philosophy graduate from Oxford or Cambridge is more likely to get into IB than the financial engineering graduate from Exeter. . .employers value names, as that's what they sell to their clients.

Inivite your mother to come help you school your kid the old school way or to come make agbo for your children  #

The first of hundreds of Toronto subway cars that will furnish a new surface rail line in Lagos has left Canada. They are due shortly in Africa’s fastest growing megacity.

An indigenous company, Eko Rail, has concluded plans to purchase 255 of the Toronto Transit Commission’s (TTC) best-equipped subway cars for use in a long-anticipated Lagos Blue Line mass transit system. The TTC is in the process of purchasing larger “Rocket” trains to increase passenger capacity on their lines.

As the electric-powered cars become surplus and are pulled offline in Toronto, they will be individually trucked to the United States for rebuilding by a team of world-class rail engineers. The cars will also undergo track-width (or “gauge”) conversion and interior refurbishment before being shipped to Lagos.

The trains have been inspected by the Governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Fashola, who endorsed the plan to purchase them following his official visit to Toronto in May 2011.

“The shipment of the first car is an important step in Eko Rail’s efforts to support the Governor’s transformation agenda for the city,” said David Potter, Eko Rail’s Chief Engineer.

“Ultimately, the Blue Line, with this modernised fleet, will bring massive benefits to Lagos’ economic development and improve Lagosians’ quality of life.”

because we don't have the money to buy shiny new ones, Aloku can be refurbished and made to go the distant if well maintained
people still send used cars and laptops home and Airlines use pre-owned planes too
Good thing you didn't mention anything to do with safety, so they are safe, their being late is largely due to weather, tracks and driver themselves not the cars

We cant afford to be paying for trains for our lifetime when we can get the job done for half the price (half the time to deliver)

lol you should have seen they way the custom guys were handling the 'bombs' on TV, they just dey handle the packages like spare parts, in fact i wont be surprised if they later declare it as spare parts, they were busy showing themselves, passing it around
