Just completed my Six Sigma Green belt Certification and i'm currently working on my CPSM ( CIPS_UK). Someone mentioned that to be of any good in Nigeria I need a SAP cert, My company uses both MFG Pro and Oracle so it will be of no value in my current role. I seriously doubt the value of a cert with no actual hands on experience . Any suggestions?
Very few companies in Nigeria implement SAP, there are many companies specifically manufacturing that will need it going forward but saying someone cant work SCM comfortably with a SAP cert is pukkie pies

If you check the SAP thread you will notice there are very few SAP certified individual on there and most are outside the country even those that took the initiative are struggling for a place to use it. just loads of companies offering workshop for hundreds of thousands selling it as the next big thing

I reckon the breweries will be amongst the majors to implement SAP as more investment is coming from Europe
The oil and gas will already be using it and maybe some banks.

What are the Dangote's and the other self acclaimed billionaires doing for Nigeria.
the largest employer of labour
probably the highest tax payer in w.a
Foundation, donating money for education, health and donating food to neighbouring countries
N6B for MSME via Bank of Industries
attracting $billions in FDI annually

has he always been worth 14billion dollars and is that billion dollar raw cash or assets half of which are in companies under construction/expansion?

most have been there for years awaiting trial

our good man Jonathan should please release them o, score better brownie points that way

DO THE RIGHT THING, PLEASE RELEASE THOUSANDS AWAITING TRIAL!!

it's not certain she will come to Nigeria

starting work after masters is better than
starting work after a traumatic nysc

you brain will still be hot or warm at least not recovering from the post traumatic stress called nysc

This is my personal schedule and not necessarily for Nigerian environment
Undergraduate> 2-3 years work experience and/or Gap year and/or deciding your career path or new interest > Postgraduate> Non Entry level work

At home in Kwara South, I don't want my Senator to return. He is perhaps the most idle Senator. Any other person other than him is ok by me, but I'll prefer AC guy
the senators from ebonyi and zamfara are even useless; one or senator from the opposition wont be a bad idea though

Whats JKwara saying? is Fatah still going strong or Belgore is looking to crash the party, belgore is kwara central right?

@vienna86

If you plan to work in Nigeria,I will advise once again that you do your MASTERS first and then return for your NYSC.That is what many people in your shoes do.I met many of them during my own time.
if she comes back after doing her masters are you saying she wont get a job

cos you are repeating the same thing, how does doing nysc in between your undergraduate and postgraduate hinder your career

this is one funny thing people do why apply for entry level for position with a masters degree?
or why waste time doing nysc with a masters degree- after masters straight to work not otukpo village doing nysc

He hasnt arrested or prosecuted anyone for the Halliburton/Siemens bribery scandal apart from efcc raiding their office to arrest the big breasted receptionist and secretary.

He hasn't said a word about the billions spent on NIMC seeing as half of the population do not have their identity card yet, its also included in the new budget! that's third year in a row

He hasn't probed or moved anyone after the purported NNPC audit, which revealed many leakages and ultimately that the nnpc is broke!

he called for an aggressive probe of the agriculture ministry sighting bloated contracts and some cabal feeding fat- Said Abba Ruma is still sipping champagne-no dam's have been completed since elebolo jonathan came in with his 7point agenda oga

he claimed to inherite many SA,SSA,SSSA, lady in waiting etc but he also inherited ministers if he can get rid of them why cant he get rid of those SSSSSAs?

he has not cut the over-bloated budget for his office, it looks like he is not a vegetarian like his former boss and his wife wants extra portions to maintain her madam stature who eat all the pies

the vp office is getting another 500million renovation AGAIN?!?!!??!

Specifically, the assessed duplicated expenditure proposals include a N500 million for the extension of Vice-President’s lounge at Aguda House; N400 million for acquisition, upgrading and furnishing of Vice-President’s Guest House also at Aguda House; furnishing of number two citizens Guest House at Asokoro, Abuja at N100 million.
this was done just some months ago, is johnny and madam so messy that it needs multimillion naira renovations with anti-allergy paint

he has not stop celebrating convicts, these are not 'alleged' criminals o these are people that spent months in prison - Alams, bode George and
even murderers who killed their own tribesmen just to kidnap oyinbo for money

he has not said a thing about the bombs in his home state he is like an Iraqi accustomed to the sound of gun shot

he has appoint dud ministers who have not been seen performing any serious govt function- mr murtala yaradua, who is the minister for environment, if his home town is dirty and used to oil fumes surely we cant all just get used to it

there are major, regional leaders that manufacture plastic etc but guess what he has signed a contract to import British bins just for Abuja up next otukpo bayelsa

Politics › Re: Policemen Caught With Explosives And Grenades In Delta. by DisGuy: 6:42pm On Apr 01, 2011
^^ well if teh govt provides an environment where the police and officials cant be prosecuted promptly they wont get the blame
but we have a society where people feel they can do many things and get away with it, the govt should clamp down on criminals and ensure we have fast and transparent prosecuting service!

the policeman in this case is a reflection of the govt, incompetent report about 'people arrested with weapons alsmost everyday without any record of convictions, is it the people that should prosecute them or the govt
Politics › Re: How Pdp Spent $16 Billion On Electricity by DisGuy: 6:19pm On Apr 01, 2011
The NIPP was designed to generate 2,276MW from six Niger Delta Power Stations, plus 2,610MW from upgrading four Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN) Power Stations, plus 1,012MW from additional turbines for the Niger Delta Power Stations, all within a period of three years. This is a total addition of 5,989MW excluding Mambilla, a hydro Power Project which takes much longer to complete.
and who was in charge of NIPP all these years? Jonathan elobolo Goodluck

Jonathan is dumber than Obasanjo /+ Yaradua =  to Jonathan cant do much better!!

Jonathan has more Corrupt godfathers = More money to be spent settling the boys with little achievement

EzeUche, Jonathan is not promoting the IGBO cause 2015 you'd be shocked

EzeUche:
You people need to listen, why blame GEJ? This is OBJ's failures, not GEJ.

Goodluck hasn't even been president for that long. You expect rapid change to happen in months?
all he had to do was implement and monitor ongoing project since 1999 but no he also came with his own plan which isnt even new it was just dusted from obasanjo and yaradua's time, 'new' gas plan that was basically a revised edition

how many roads have been 'completed' since the dufus came on board?

According to GEJ copied POWER Transformation plan, we should be generating 6,900 by APRIL 2011!!

GO CHECK THE DOCUMENT

efisher:
This time it's for real. I have some priviledged information about one of the power plants coming on stream and I am sure we can achieve it. The only challenge I can see right now is our transmission and distribution network. We already have lots of power generation projects at advanced stages. I hope the super grid project gets a boost after the election. Nigerians want power so they can breathe FRESH AIR!
another pillock, we had information since 19gbogboro
Politics › Re: How Pdp Spent $16 Billion On Electricity by DisGuy: 3:53pm On Apr 01, 2011
what was the generation output in 1999 ? it is about 3848MW now

imagine in 12 years we just made many movements no result, M.O.Us up and down, 100+ consultants and many prof with PhDs-still nothing much

Jonathan was chairing the NIPP under yaradua

NYSC before Graduate School
