Monmarri:Are you sure a health worker with no underlying medical has been told to go home? At the moment even people working part time, retired are being encouraged to go to work full time/ more hours. Keep calm and get News from different sources |
Any update? Where is AutoJosh.....a bit quiet nowadays boss |
hot amala with an evergreen ewedu and pepper sauce assorted with Shaki, roundabout, Titus and good ol chicken.cure for Colo-Bilus |
Sorry about your predicament. stay focused and have a good plan you can live with. I can’t leave here like that and even if I did leave to apply to study I need to do some sorts of IELTS due to my hearing I can’t even guarantee getting a visaAre you currently studying in Nigeria? why not conclude that then apply to study- for the Exams parts, if you speak to schools in the UK they can make exceptions for case as special needs. I didn’t really have a life back home many of my Families (Dad Side) have their kids here some in the US but refused to help,As harsh as this would sound, you need to drop this mentality of someone refusing to help you! You have your own parents who are alive and also in the UK- it could be that they are not in the position to help you and more so they have their own families too! Your own dad is alive- and he's assuring you of his willingness to help- if you can be patient Yeah my Dad has told me not to worry too much that am his first born child he would help and stand for me me he is British between he told me about his circumstances I would refuse to share here, he made it clear I need to be patient.Good luck with your decisions |
Eagleboney:This is the narrow guage train that has always operated that axis- the standard guage is not fully functional now- still in test phase |
anyone on here used this service or was it just a trial? |
lionlee216:Baba who booked your AirBnB? punishment Nice adventure in Cali |
Glad they made this one a simple design. Their architecture is usually very brutish or perhaps just the one for Nigeria- low maintenance and fit for purpose. The stairs leading to the platforms can induce labour!! |
It's huge quite alright but considering they did the Abuja Kano rail, one would have thought they got the Nigerian terrain figured out. Apart from lagos the rest should be smooth sailing. The carcass of the hotel at ebutte Meta is complete...here scratching my head why are they more interested in the hotel than the main station- some politician already positioning |
yesloaded:Well it hasn't been abandoned, delayed/slow yes. By now they should have been on the Ibadan to Abuja and Kano-Kaduna Now there's Corona virus excuse to throw into the mix |
EgunMogaji2:Breaks my heart!! Was really rooting for Amaechi and co. I mean it's only less than 200km. Even if they could get it working from Agege to Ibadan miss out on some minor stations until it's fully functional to the ports Thought i will be able to ride to ibadan on this visit but the test run currently going on doesnt make much sense time wise. Got on the Abuja-Kaduna and Kaduna-Abuja trains off my bucket list this time around. |
TMKsouth:Many thanks TMK This will help anyone visiting these cities |
Looks like the whole project - Lagos- Ibadan still has a long way to go Was at the ebutte Meta end 2 weeks ago and the workers doubt it will be completed this year... heavy work going on though
|
All done? Are they off grid now? Is it solar or hydro, anyone with details? |
Interesting.... Can you put the names of the statues or their locations if you have the information plz |
Hi Soknown. Apologies for that. Do you get banned after posting somethngor just randomly before posting? |
Abini2012:cheaper than hotels? Cool! never even considered them when I travel. The ones you've used are the host usually living on the premises? Yes o baf, chop, sleep and comot! |
Bravo!!! Makes me wanna visit Belfast!! But not in this weather! Been there through your pics already!!! Noticed you choose Airbnb over hotels... |
Where's Oga at the Top? How's Omi Adio station coming up? Visited Ebutte Meta station last week. Most of the workers working flat out, some unfortunately don't believe the lagos end will be operational this year Badagry expressway is getting a lot of work done! |
You didn't fill us in about this ur holiday!! |
Good ol' days of Nairaland! Seniors everywhere!!! |
The Governor also launched a mobile application designed to facilitate easy access to the water transportation services.@naptu Any idea what this app is called? Nothing on play store |
Surely our own isi-ewu, suya, amala specialists can benefit from the new relaxed immigration law....or our food is not considered International enough? |
umarwy:More than crazy. It's stuck in the 80s. I think you'll end up using 3 or 4 website in total ![]() Nigerian High Commission That Innnovate website or OIS Nigerian Immigration website |
umarwy:Been a while i applied. I think on the completed form theres a date towards the end of the page usually in smaller print. Then you can change the date on the main website? |
SKhanmi:What if they are not trying to impress anyone....changing your regular weekend hike pics is not necessarily you trying to impress anyone! it's your phone your dp, its not their fault someone else is reading meanings into it. |
wonlasewonimi:When Oga said fund is no issue...my atenna goes up...if one is to spend national cake it better be worth is. The Shangri-La at the Shard is befitting our honourable |
wonlasewonimi:Integration toh bad!! Leaving our carb heavy food hard bro!! Heard there's now cauliflower jollof rice... blown the trumpet already Imagine going a week without swallow...Home office go hear am |
micluv111:In that case. Get a central location like London Bridge area very close to rail, tube and bus links and direct hop to naija restaurants central. And to cap it great hotel at the Shard with fine dining options on it's topmost floor ![]() |
