Welcome development!! We need someone on more than one year contract in the NFF

This mr SiaSia everyone is shouting about, Why hasnt he been able to get a job somewhere else if he is that good??

Next step is to recruit NFF/NPL official from the private sector or allow KPMG or some other consultant interview applicants for jobs there

As the Minister of Foreign Affairs he is responsible for all the Embassies
Yes but he's not responsible for this turnaround, this has been coming way before he came in

He should go fix the office in NY and the centres in nigeria, he's a bit lazy. . .

Yer i know uk is boring but ive ive lived ther for 9yrs plus ive got ma business ther the people managing it r not doing a great job plus i got ma family ther to as well but we not married ive spen about 6mil trying to get to uk these past mönths they say the back door is the best way but i just dont know how or who to contact and who to trust
why not spend all that money setting up that business in nigeria, very low tax, low labour cost, move your family to nigeria or wait for a while maybe you can appeal later on when they change the la again if your family don't want to come permanently

the only back door to to relocate to another country in Europe to live

Career › Re: What Professional Course Can I Do To Butress My Course by DisGuy: 4:09pm On Jun 19, 2010
I'll advice you to make the most of your time actually gaining 'work experience' instead of looking for a certificate
it's quite unfortunate students are almost made to feel they need a certificate to get 'a start'
you should be looking to join the university magazine, the skills you gain outside of your course is more important at the start than any certificate- and any certificate targeting english course grad are almost likely to be fake and taking advantage of the trend as most of them are not registered or recognised bodies
Apart from Admin and Clerical you should be looking for experience in

Advertising and Marketing
Public Relations
Publishing

And Lord knows Jona is his own man, him get him own balls but guess what it will be under record he implemented it, also under record he submitted the 2010 budget jacked up by a whopping N300b causing a bit of discomfort when oil price went down under his watch $4b was released in quick sucessions

Me i know say this is the sort of yaradua will happily scale back on afterall him no like party-under 18 WC Nigeria 09
but by all indication Jonah wants everyone to have a jolly good time as usual

Beaf imagine the brownie point Jonah will get under his belt if he scales back on this Jamboree, he can declare environmental day for 2 days to get the country cleaned up!! Plant trees everywhere instead of the waste
the time and money wasted on Madam Dora's Rebranding is still there for all to see, in fact the rebranding website has 132 pictures of Prof Dora and 32455 mention of her name grin

The Minister of Information stated very clearly yesterday, that IT WAS YAR ADUA's people that created the 10 billion budget DURING Yar Adua's time.
Rumour mongering is a terrible thing.
Oh we Remember tahte minister quitE alright- SHE WAS THE SAME ONE THAT ADMITTED SHE DIDNT READ OR STUDY THE NTA BUDGET AT ALL, SHE ONLY WROTE A COVER LETTER AND SUBMITTED IT shocked shocked

now she is blaming 'the yaradua govt' like she wasnt part of that same government!!! grin

^I'm sure you are still having wet dreams of gassing Niger Deltans (only it will be your family, instead). grin

You are funny. Why do you feel your area has the right to be a parasite?
My area can survive comfortably on its own actually in fact re-jigging the allocation will make it more stable politically and people from private sector will be more interested in the politics of the state instead of career politicians

By all definition many states are not parasit but getting exactly want is written to them by the same constitution your reps have not challenged- they've only managed to raise their voice until some cheques have been passed their way
I don't know which is more disturbing; the northerners cattle rarer in the house that keep threatening your over-educated reps or the money hungry reps from the most deprived area that keep quiet whenever they get land/money/suit and another honorary degree/title  grin

Beaf:
What about all the senators, House of Reps, Governors from your area? I'm quite definite it doesn't contribute much to the Nigerian economy. Does it?
So why should your people even be in Abuja instead of finalising their very own MASTERPLAN?
OH so instead of tongue lashing the mai guard for leaving the gates wide open, and switching off the CCTV in myy house , i will blame the other people in my street for not shutting off the main gate to the street abi

Jonathan is not going to be able to undo 54 years of abuse in a few short months, so we aren't even looking in his direction. In fact, when he alorted some money for cleanup, there was a huge outcry from the North about dredging being cancelled (which it wasn't).
Yes he wont be able to undo 54years of abuse -not like he has done much since being in government 10+ years now- he is not sounding like a man that is looking to bring this up for national debate

what all these yarn about nrotherners crying and whatnot, cant the southerns do their own outcrying? Cant they put their bloody calculators and university calender girls scoring cards away for a minute and work together or tehy are too educated to do just that?

Beaf:
Please, answer my question about why you think your state has the right to be a parasite. Or is it too hard? shocked
Federal allocation is in the nigerian constitution and your reps have not done anything about dashin monies to lazy inefficient states-infact they have supported the creation of more state after pocketing a few bags and numbers, if you are worried you senators and governor are not pocketing enough money as it is, Jonathan is there now he has the support of ALL ND elders and politician this is the time to change the constitution you have heavy weights in the house leading the ammendment get them to pull their fingers out just this time- no cabals

We don’t have an international media to cover us, so nobody cares about it,” said Mr. Mbong, in nearby Eket. “Whatever cry we cry is not heard outside of here.”
and the private media in nigeria owned largely by guess who are busy covering Amodu's society wedding

No, some Nigerians are here shamelessly blaming the victims. The past govts on their part have hawked Nigerians for twopence to the worst slavemasters and some of us are proud of it.
It is an incredible pity. Why does one need external enemies when some of their own country men and women will do just fine? I mean, they do a much better job.
and to take it further. . . why does anyone need their own federal enemy when some of their own states men and women will do just fine. . .

What will happen if/when all the senators, House of Reps, Governors from NIger Delta stay away from Abuja UNTIL A MASTERPLAN is discussed and Budgeted for? (it would seem some of them hardly visit their hometown apart from when they are commissioning aa new gloryland mansion)

OK OK OK GOODLUCK JONATHAN is the PRESIDENT NOW WHAThuh? Are we going to get a shakedown or serious attempt to clean up the area, this guy has 'proposed' so many blueprint and plans but no CLEAN UP MASTER PLAN and he has been in Governement for well over 8 years now

we cant keep blaming the govt (which to a large extent is made up of influencial heavy weight from that same region!!)

so much money goes into scholarship for petroleum eng, this or that engineering and very little effort goesinto environment regenration- They have basically given up hope of cleaning up this area,

HOTandCOLD:
THIS IS THE CURSE OF THE BLACKMAN. Remember what happened to Coach Keshi with the Togolese team. After qualifying them for the world cup, he was replaced by a white man and Togo went ahead to embarass not only themselves but africans in general at the last world cup. Coach Amodu qualified them, so he should have been allowed to take them to the world cup. UNTIL WE START TO GIVE OUR PEOPLE THE OPPORTUNITY TO COMPETE WITH THE REST OF THE WORLD, WE'LL NEVER GET TO THE PROMISED LAND, NO WONDER ALMOST ALL THE AFRICAN TEAMS HAVE FOREIGN COACHES. Even the USA, that's considered a soccer minnow insists on having a US born coach. I guess we'll never learn.
YES I tottally agree with you , TOGO WOULD HAVE WON THE WORLD CUP HAD KESHI BEEN THE COACH, I MEAN ITS TOGO AFTERALL

too much expectation
