The UK government can limit the number of work permits given, limit the number of tier 1 visas given per year, limit the number of student visas, stop the post study work visas etc. Why havent they done it? Is it soo hard to implement? I would want to think that there are other reasons why they keep on allowing immigration on this scale in the UK and still turn a blind eye.Why would any country want to limit these type of immigrants? When there are other who break the law to get into the country, those are more likely to committ crime, claim benefit, indulge in anti social behaviours etc The number of illegal immigrant is more of a problem than immigrants who took time and effort to apply according to the rules. |
maybe they refused your application based on your atrocious spelling ![]() Your friends LIVING in the UK complaining; are they on 6 months visiting visa as well? If the refuse you six times, you should consider other countries, France, USA, Italy, South Africa or is there any particular reason why you want to visit UK? |
With all the hype about Obudu, one would assume there are travel agents offering packages the ranch or perhaps its not profitable |
Away from the fuss and hype of King Yar'Adua alleged death. The question of Nigeria's relevance is being played out by MTN.Read through the post and realize that it is a complete insult for MTN to locate their head office away from Nigeria because of what they call "friendly business climate" in Accra.Nigeria contributes over 59percent of its total subscribes base in the region in question.Do we know how jobs these insane people have taken from us?
Why do we always like behaving like dictators? Companies have the right to locate their HQ where ever they feel is comfortable It is up to the countries to attract investors not to dictate to them where they locate their business, it was the almost teh same thing when some niger delta ministers/elders said oil companies should be 'forced' to move their HQ into the Niger delta; where in the world are companies FORCED to locate their offices? their license was not based on them locating the HQ in nigeria so withrawing it based on that is totally out of the question! how many jobs have they taken from us?? |

kemcin:You mon ami are suffering from delusion of grandeur, who insult you? if you take that as an insult then in fact you deserve to be insulted in the most acerbic manner for being a tit! Have you seen the 'video phone' video? Damn i love that woman more, its bold, sexy and strong!! Beyonce just keeps giving it to them 10years and still on top maybe if these haters put more effort into their career they might just get a sniff at the top!! Hard work don't kill |

Enjoyment1:According to Dis Cynical Guy, burning buildings is a nigerian way of raising funds or a political manipulations- Bisi olatilo studio, 2 markets in lagos demolished after 'mysterious' fires-paving way for govt to build mega expensive shops ![]() |
One of the benefits of registration would be recovering your number when you lose your phone Tmobile for example will send you a new sim card with 48hours to your home address |
aieromon:Well some people said the tax drive by Tinubu/fFashola will be an exercise in futility but we've seen concrete proof igr raising astronomically- not perfect but still getting somewhere I think a time will come when people are asked to provide several proof of address which a telephone bill will be one of them, The NCC cant on their own reduce tariffs; as part of the incentive attracting foreign/local investors to the sector is their ability to get a return on their investment over a certain period of time its only been 10 years and most importantly power which is a major operating aspect is a FG responsibility not NCC. NCC already announced some reduction is charges/cost which should normally be passed on to customers but na naija if them no force them no go reduce tariff. Most police authorities in the world rely heavily on citizens (tatafos) ISPs, Telecoms operator, local corner shops, etc etc in solving/reducing crime so this can go a long way in helping the NPF as incompetent as they are |
puskin:I think he meant (phone) retail outlets which are basically everywhere and there are actually network outlets in most city centres anyway If barriers are placed so that you dont get maximum benefits of your sim card you will be forced to register it after a while, Etisalat alreadly cancelled some subscribers number due to none activation |
Coolfaced8 the spambot is blocking your post, do you want to continue, move it to another section or abandon it? |
^^^ What is really wrong is registring your sim card? Why are people opposed to it? If people are opposed to this scheme based on incompetent data protection then fine apart from that i dont really see how this is such a big deal Other countries that register only postpaid lines dont have the same problems as nigeria and they have other efficient systems of dealing with crime |
Where's the Album? |
Polish people outside poland especially UK are nice hard working friendly people they work hard and love their Vodka!! I cant say the same for poles in poland though, according to my friend they are not very accommodating You should be trying to get information from nigerians and africans living there for first hand information |

I am surprised the mod 'dis guy' added my name to the list sef Shocked. Anyone recently applied for the new passport online? Anyone paid for their services online or is it a waste of time doing it online? |
Actually the reason why i didn't make the polls visible is so people don't have the heard mentality some people like back the winning horse after the race's begun Just wanted people to vote for THEIR favourite, simple IVORY2009:According to who? It's quite pathetic how something as little as an online vote could make people conjure dumb things like election rigging, its not like they can with it ![]() |
i no know say issue don full ground for my Oyb o
|
Siena:Thank you very much for your understanding |
where is alapere, ketu? You got a map? |
MERRY CHRISTMAS |
Siena came close, he got same vote with Funkybaby. there can only be space for a certain number of people, cant really massage everyone's ego When I started the thread my intention is to leave it open for everyone to nominate their poster of the year then before the close I will put a poll up for the TOP THREE, but admin wanted something else Another thing I noticed is most people tend to go into specific thread only, UK, USA, CANADA so they wont know too much about other posters Akolawale and the rest don't need the award they are Grandmaster of the boards ![]() The deep recognise the deep or something like that |
