Heartland player drags club to FIFA

Heartland is about to experience the wrath of FIFA if the Owerri club fails to settle the signing on fee of one its player who has vowed to take the dispute before the world football governing body.

According to the player who prefers not to have his name in print, Heartland signed him on a contract of one year on September 23, 2009 but has refused to meet the terms of agreement.

He said, “After signing for the club, I played two matches for it. I played against Bayelsa United on September 27 and Warri Wolves on November 25 and they were impressed with my display.

“I was surprised in December when the club presented me another contract but I refused to sign. The terms in the new one were in contrast with the first one I signed. Besides, the initial contract was still in force.”

His refusal to sign the new contract led to his release by the club in December but was denied his signing on fees after the club claimed he had no contract with them.

“Several things were wrong with the way Heartland related with me,” the player said. “They told me they have requested for my International Transfer Certificate from my former club in Poland but it was a lie. In the registration document the club presented to the Nigeria Premier League, they wrote that my former club was Heartland.”

who do you think this is? Stanev guy?

Heartland don enter am, they cant pay players sign on fees

lets see if they will call the AGF to come and defend them

Politics › Classic Obasanjo by DisGuy(op): 3:47pm On Jan 23, 2010
The audience at yesterday’s 7th Trust Annual Dialogue was gripped by laughter when the legendary South African anti-apartheid fighter Mrs. Winnie Madikhizela Mandela exchanged sexually-tinged banter.
Obasanjo, in his opening address, had referred to his landmark visit to apartheid South Africa in 1986 as a member of the Commonwealth Eminent Persons Group, of which he was the co-chairman alongside former Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Fraser. He said the group met Mrs. Winnie Mandela, and that she gave them a deep insight into the situation in South Africa at that time. He also said her insight formed a major plank of the group’s report, which he said was later hailed as a watershed in the struggle to end apartheid. He described her as a genuine heroine of the liberation struggle.

When Mrs Mandela rose to deliver her speech, she thanked Obasanjo for all he said, but added, “You forgot to say that you spent the night in my house.” At this, there was a burst of laughter from the audience. Obasanjo immediately grabbed another microphone and interjected, “it was a very enjoyable night!” But he quickly added, “You and Madiba [Mr. Nelson Mandela] very kindly invited me to spend the night in your home, and you were very generous.” There was prolonged laughter in the audience and Mrs Mandela then came to Obasanjo’s aid by saying, “Yes, he slept in the guest room.”

The former player who has returned home fully to do business insisted that should the technical crew continue to rely on players such as Aiyegbeni and his likes, the nation would be left in tears at the World Cup where the opposition will be very fierce.

Politics › Re: Nuzo For House Of Representatives 2011. The Revolution. by DisGuy: 3:01pm On Jan 23, 2010
Good thing is that this is still in the pipeline

You should provide stats for the following problems

THE PROBLEMS:

1. Illiteracy: Nwoha has always been so saddened by level of illiteracy in Nigeria, his federal constituency in particular. Schools and quality education in Ohaukwu/Ebonyi federal constituency are almost non existent. The one situation that constantly brings tears to his eyes is the thought of the fact that majority of juvenile roadside hawkers on the major roads of Lagos are from Ohaukwu/Ebonyi federal constituency. Lack of funding, scholarships and total neglect by their government and representatives in the various Assemblies, these kids have decided to take to the streets at very young ages. Without quality education, these kids are likely to grow and become security risks to the society. The society in turn loses "tons" of human resources. What percentage of school age children are out of school, what's the percentage of those achieveing the mandatory 5 A-Cs for a university course, what percentage is male/female- NPC, WAEC etc all have website nows
2. Lack of Potable water: It is unbelievable that in 2010, the guinea worm scourge is still ravaging our constituency due to lack of potable water. Majority of the people still have no access to portable drinking water, hence they drink from dirty streams and ponds. [ from 1999 till date how many cases of guinea worm or how many miles do people have to walk to get water]
3. Girl child abuse and VVF: To a large extent, Nwoha believes that a female child in this part of the world is a disadvantaged kid. Unlike their male counterparts, female children are forced into early marriages and despoiled against their wills. They take in at very tender ages and due to immature pelvis, they develop VVF after delivery.
4. Female circumcision: Young females in this constituency are forced to go through severe pains of circumcision. The trauma of this evil process torments the female child into adulthood. It also kills their sexual lives when they get married.
5. Poverty: Absence of small scale industries, no idea of mechanized farming, opportunity for real farmers to benefit from Agric loans, unsubsidized fertilizer and lack of storage system have all left the villagers incapacitated and thereby poor.
6. Ignorance: Over 50% of the population within the locality is uniformed as a result of lack of opportunity to be exposed beyond their vicinity.
this is the only point with stats to back it up though you didnt state where you got the figure from

I support

they won the contract themselves, you think all the money they donate around the world is actually going to the country? they hire the consultants, tell you exactly what products they want (basically telling you what company to buy from), where other parts are sold (member countries) they tell you what shipping company to use and voila you hire some local drivers to deliver the 'product' hire local journalists then train some few people in-house with the help of their approved consultants cheesy 90% of the funds rotate amongst member state- all the same we say odim ma!

Funk stein:
My friend ! I have lived in the UK for over 30 years and I happen to know for a fact that most if not all white people are racist, that does not mean they are bad it just means they are racist, just some are more racist than others, I always say in jest that some are 99% racist and some are 1% racist some of them sincerely believe that they are not until it is gently pointed out to them, the decent ones will check themselves and hopefully correct their prejudices, the half decent ones will hope they do not expose their darkest thoughts again, and the 'BAD' ones just don't give a damn what we think about their racist views.

I can tell you also that people are not just people across the board, Your average black person is not racist he might react violently towards racism if he encounters it but he will not perpetrate it against his fellow man this is one of the core differences between the races,
what?

Have you been to or lived in nigeria? heard of Rwanda?
