@ Dis Guy how is that entrance a 'f**king disgrace'huhhuh
Erm it is DIRTYYYYYYYYY

I swear the VC or even student union don't have to spend a kobo to get this entrance cleaned up
A quick run around to companies or organisation for funds or paints will be enough
the students and lecturers themselves can clean the rest up!!
everyone just hide under 'lack of funding' excuse nowadays when very simple things could be done
If the main entrance is like this, i wonder what the hostels and lecture theatres look like

I really hope this is a very old picture

We keep telling you we are all the same, you refuse to listen. All of us are roasting
in the cauldron called Nigeria. We have a problem with our elite. I am always amused
when people talk about fear of one section or the other. Always recall Fela,s song.

You dey fear for the tin wey you no see.
True

and the southerner newspapers owned mainly by teh southerners are helping the myth big time
all headline is geared towards the almighty North thumping the ever cowardly south  undecided
check vanguard, sun newspaper and thisday their headlines are nothing but pure garbage sometimes!

Sanusi dancing to Northerners tune

Northerners pressurise Goodluck Jonathan and southerners sit in a corner to lick their milk? undecided

', powerful Northerners who installed Obasanjo in 1999' bla blah blah

one is almost made to believe all those in the national assembly are northerners or hand picked by northerners

Most humans (not only Nigerians) are not intelligent and are malleable and easily mislead especially when they lack education and self-worth (which are extensive traits in Nigeria).

so you want to relocate to obudu ranch or tinapia? where do you want to live in when you relocate? inside the valleys or mountains? undecided

i am not looking for shanties pix, i just want to see how the normal street looks like. cool
I think these pictures are mainly for people to at least visit as tourist not necessarily for relocation
At least Nigerians/Africans have options for vacation without the hassle visa agents

Politics › Re: Why Are You People So Scared Of 'The North' ? by DisGuy: 4:10pm On Dec 14, 2009
JProspero:
I don't think the South is afraid of the North at all. On the contrary, the North is afraid that it cannot compete with the South if things are done by merit. The only way the North believes it can compete well is if it has a hold on power and is in a position to decide who keeps what.
Another problem is that while other ethnic regions try to project their brighest and best, the North tries to project its mediocre people so long as those people can protect the Northern interest. Imagine the North choosing Tafawa Balewa and Shagari (non-graduates and docile men) to compete with Zik and Awo at a time there were very intelligent and visionary men in the North? Who knew that there were young men of action and vision in the North like el-Rufai and Ribadu if not that Obasanjo brought them out? And look at how sharp and decisive Sanusi is today? But all these men will be available and still the North will bring out one docile person as president because he is more likely to maintain the status quo rather than moving Nigeria forward. That is what the South finds so annoying. I don't care who rules this nation so far as there is electricity, good roads, health care, education etc. Fashola is doing well in Lagos - who cares whether he is Yoruba or Ijaw or Nupe? Marwa did well in Lagos - who cared if he was from Adamawa or Anambra?
see logic abeg!!

So all these mediocre vs the best and bright of the south are still making decisions on who keeps what, how come??
who is REALLY bright then?

paranoia no go kill some people!

Ajegunle people and those in any slum area arent ready for development. If it were in any other country, they would knock all those BS illegal slums structures down, cause they probably dont meet proper housing codes. The Government should break up EVERYTHING  and start over with NEW developments, they are just having mercy on you people

They should break everything down and start with new developments
They are not ready for development? Wasn't it the govt that moved them from their original location to build mansions without providing alternative for them in the first place? How did their houses become illegal structures? if it weren't for the failures of the govt in the first place, what was the govt looking at when these houses/areas were being built? what is the job of the local government and housing/building controls department, im sure they receive rent and fee from these people to now turn back and call them illegal is wrong
these people deserve proper developments too not just lekki VI and co afterall with better facilities they'll be improved business and employment opportunities hence more revenue for the govt

Lets be honest sanusi caused the recession  cheesy

Sanusi has been an unmitigated disaster, his policy unraveled within days of implementation (that is a record in itself) I ask you where are the investors that he traveled the world wooing?
I thought he travelled to allay fears of investors in these foreign countries
with the present outlook, you dont really expect investors rushing into Downtown lagos
