I suppose "help" has to be defined. Nothing out of the ordinary of grandiose. Housing a stranded stranger for the night or buying a meal for some life-beaten bloke who accosts one on the road isn't out of the ordinary. I can't count. It's part of being humane and expressing our humanity. But I suppose we've become so indifferent as humans off the camera that these little acts of kindness which inherently make us human seem saintly. |
taylor88:Dude, how on God's green earth were you washing your girlfriend's clothes? |
Those who still argue Nigerian sociopolitical issues against unrepentant Buharists-turn-Maize-runners are probably the most devoted kind of patriots any country can ever have. The steadfastness is continuing to make people bashed and battered by the cruel system whose custodians they grovel at the very base in hopes of getting crumb leftovers from the pets who are closer to the table than them is one I'd admire if channeled any other way. This isn't Stockholm Syndrome. It's worse. There's a name for it you and I can't define yet. And it's scary. I'd rather just unusually post "Favour me and family" memes in response, because the truth is, I can't understand that level of devotion to one's suppressors/oppressors. Now we at least understand how the colonial masters were able to get our kinsmen to suppress and justify the cruelty to our ancestors. Slavery would never have been possible without collaborators. Buhari and Tinubu wouldn't get away with plunging the country further into ruins if they didn't have accomplices from within and amongst us, the exploited. Imagine defending Buhari's reckless wastage of our dwindling Commonwealth months after he retired to enjoy the loot? Heck! Borrowed wealth?! |
BlueRayDick:You better believe in the supernatural - you're witnessing it. His laundryman must be really blessed. Imagine having to touch more than the helm of the divine's garment every other day. Legend; myth; god. Blessed be Leo! |
OasisX:Yes, sir! But nothing compared to those facilitated by the Lagos Angel Investment Network. LAN-organised events would always be king. |
Finally Messi is going to get exposed. We always knew his footballing skills are otherworldly. |
liveLongNprospa:I've stated this a thousand times and even as recently as March 19. DissTroy: |
And the main reason for the revisionist attempts of the events leading up to, during and after the elections is simple: You realised you fûcked up. You and yours. You backed the wrong horse decked in the shinniest of garbs. Then the race began and it's turned out to be a worn-out, old tired horse which should have been put to pasture. With the stark reality of the better, healthier horse breezing past, you'd rather taint it with false accusations to manipulate its public perception to buy you time while you hope against hope that your tired horse gets back on its hooves. But what's a tired horse to a thoroughbred stallion? Reality stares you in the face, distinguished Nairaland political punters! |
[double post]; |
Toyin Abraham is from Auchi in Edo State. She isn't Yoruba. She's only as Yoruba as Reno Omokri is. Or as Yoruba as Amaechi, an Ikwerre man, is Igbo. She was insulted because she made a choice which was obviously not for the country's benefit. Like Adunni Ade revealed when her life was threatened in March, they were all paid handsomely and promised more personal gains. Even Toyin complained her husband was/is against her support for Tinubu. This made Nairaland frontpage. Her husband is Yoruba, by the way. Nairaland has high SEO value so it's better to set these things straight for posterity sake.. The false depiction of things to tag Peter Obi's supporters as the aggressors when you were the ones caught on camera threatening and maiming innocent voters is the most cruel kind of gaslighting. Some of us never forget the fine details. |
TheUnsure:They get on Facebook or Instagram and stay online even by 12:00AM to chat up young good-looking or attractive men, and even send raunchy pictures of themselves unsolicited. Randomly complimenting the young men's looks even though they boldly have their husbands and kids pictures up. Some get away with it, some get caught and shamed. Fodder for Facebook and Instagram sex scandals we read daily. We've seen too many things, bro. There's a reason that young married woman is online by 11PM. You'd be shocked to find out what she's doing. |
If you don't find the person you're with physically attractive, you'd always seek out other people. But women grow to love men and might even stay loyal to him. A man, on the other hand, who doesn't find you physically attractive would never do so. He'd wake up to you in the morning and be pissed off. Men are very visual beings. It matters. |
Ojagun:What if it's a case study in reference of how women handle rejection? I've sent links of such engagements to women when they claim women handle it better using personal experiences like mine. I like that her ego is crushed and she'd keep coming at me. I have screenshotted females I ignored ranting and stalking like her on Facebook. One of them, coincidentally, also hails from her LGA of Origin. When they overdo it, I mock them. I'd check to see if I can find the screenshots. No regrets whatsoever. The tears of rejection is sweet! This is for every male out there who was ridiculed for making advances at females, and the guy on the third page of this thread she ridiculed for making advances at her to chat her up. ![]() |
Now this stalking is why I ignored even on Facebook. This feels like déjà vu. A man who kept stalking a woman would have been reported to the authorities. Why is it so difficult for women to move on? My very worst fear which is why I'm picky with women. Imagine getting dragged on social media over a sexual scandal. It validates why I ignore females with such combative antecedence. I've seen too much of the results play out on Twitter particularly. Can never be me. Especially grifting females who have nothing to lose. I do. You have absolutely nothing to lose. Thank the Heavens I've been blessed with calm and discreet females who aren't vindictive. What would have become of me if I were remotely involved with someone like you? Screenshots and recorded conversations would have been all over. Dodged a bullet. You can keep going now while I prepare to attend this odd Sunday morning wedding with my woman. Now I'd treasure her more for being your opposite character-wise. No means no. Should I get a Me-Too placard, Uyai Weinstein? |
UyaiIncomparabl:Ayen Oku Iboku, ñyak ñdien. There's a reason I've not been fingered in scandals on any platform. I like discreet women. You know, those who keep it on a low-key. Even if I was single and you were, and we were willing, your out-and-out persona which is reminiscent of toxic feminists and combative females would have killed the willingness. It's not about you personally - it's just me liking certain kind of women. Plus I don't get intimate with random females too, not even for one-offs. There has to be a spark. Not all men are willing to jump at just about anything with a skirt. And I'd go easier since the former NANS boss from years back happens to be my friend and from your place so I have warm memories of Oku Iboku people, even though they can be combative like you are. (Years of fighting boundary wars?) It's not personal. I don't have the motivation to hurt you further with words. This woman I'm with already has a strong loving hold on me. |
buygala:LOL. It's all good, man. From her comment after this, now you see I wasn't wrong about her being an unrepentant flirt and me not wanting to engage. No claim I have made on this thread has been wrong. I just want to go easy on her. Let me enjoy my fine boy privileges in peace. Women should learn to handle rejection like men do daily without stalking. I crushed on Kelly Rowland as a teenager and didn't have her. I didn't die. I'm here. ![]() |
BuyGala, since you asked, this is one more of my pictures. Sports Section guys have also seen this one. Trust me, I have more pressing issues than entertaining random women on the internet. Like building startups to begin with. ![]() I don't want to message Uyai or chat with her. It's simple. |
buygala:I'd reply because it's you from back in the day. This is just one of my pictures. Sports Section guys have seen more of mine and some chat with me. Including the Foreign Politics guys. They have also spoken with me on the phone, WhatsApp and Telegram. They also know my full names, even on Facebook. Yes, I have the looks privilege. No, women are the least of my problems. I don't need more. [Edit: Pictures removed.] |
Tenrack:Bro, women reject men's advances everyday and men take it in stride. I rejected the Uyai girl and she's been ranting. I have several of them on Facebook who wage campaign of calumny, stalking me in comments section because I ignored them. Plus the Uyai female is overweight, a notorious flirt, and jumps from men to men, even on Facebook. I rejected her there and reject her here too. Don't put women on a pedestal. Treat them like they treat us - be picky. ![]() CuriousStudent:I don't want her. Why can't women deal with rejection? I just checked right on this thread and she's been rude to a guy who made advances at her. I don't need more women or female friends. The ones on Facebook (including the unanswered messages) are enough. And since I have hindsight of who she is, I avoided her. She's a flirt. Guys in the Sports Section have taken their go at her. She has no value to me since I won't be intimate or her rubbing off on me well professionally. I don't want her. Simple! |
Nothing to see about the comment. Just an insecure Facebook flirt who has said good night a thousand times but is still replying. Count yourself lucky I'm not the screenshots type. I knew this day would come. Go hit the gym. Your protruding stomach doesn't help matters. I don't like to drink from public cups. I'm not interested in you, or any of the females here on Nairaland. I never have been. I've got enough females to last me 5 lifetimes. The least of my worries. Let me be. I don't want to message you on Facebook, Uyai. I'm already with a woman I love too. If I want other women, I just need to reply messages on Facebook. Go leech on men and fight other women like the late Victorian over men. You are infamous for being slutty on Nairaland and Facebook pages. Let me be, daughter of Eve! |
UyaiIncomparabl:LOL. Considering how you are a troll jumping from comment to comment seeking attention on AllahKadúna's page and on Pulse, you are insecure and an unhinged flirt. Your pictures are heavy on filters and you are overweight. There's no way I was going to even remotely respond to your flirting on those pages. I ignored you. I detest women who flirt without restrain. It's like drinking from a public cup. Same way you are begging me to message you on Facebook even right here and were getting giddy about it. Already getting excited and wet just at the prospect of seeing the face. Not the kind of female I want to converse with. You brought this on yourself. ![]() Go meet average simps who'd debase themselves for you. Too many of your type are in my inbox begging to be replied. And work on your weight too. I abhor fat women. |
Threads is still nothing more than a skeletal retro-Twitter woke brigade echo-chamber. An Instagram for less dyslexic people seeking validation for their toxic habits. I only created an account on it to secure my unique username. Opened it less than 8 times at most. I barely even use Instagram. Twitter (now X) trumps everything Meta, save for Facebook. |
UyaiIncomparabl:Nope! I don't send random women messages, including on Facebook. There has to have been a spark somewhere; maybe in the comments section of a page or in a group, or them messaging me directly first. Plus you are faraway from where I currently am given your Facebook location I just checked. And you have a seemingly combative persona so there's no point to it. Where would it lead to? Well, maybe if you are a hands-on techie like myself. Still, no. Sports Section guys would give you my pictures for free as I have uploaded them there several times. |
UyaiIncomparabl:The ironic thing about this is that you have complimented my looks on Facebook too. On a Facebook page which starts with a P , and seem to react to my comments on the same Facebook page and one other page which begins with letters "All". Small world, right? My mind connects things that way. I never forget these things, Victoria. : ) (This is the part where my signature about anonymity being a myth dawns on you quickly.) |
Autobot05:Ah... This part. I make a comment on a Facebook page or group, females check my profile then compliment my looks then some random "Hi Angle" nîtwit goes "Fair bearded guys with pink lips dey yarn rubbish sha" because he feels threatened. I got so much hatred from some MEN in the Sports Section here who feel threatened when I uploaded my pictures. Many of them a decade or more older than I am. Insecurity. Most of us have learnt to deal with it. It feels good to see the women they debase themselves for drool over us. That's sweet revenge. I'd take some comfort in that. ![]() |
ItisWell22:I like pretty girls though. But beauty is relative. I'm fairskinned and hairy, and I'd pass as better-looking than many women (No, I'm not bragging as my post history in the sport section confirms this ). Not because they are ugly but beauty is a relative term.Niyola isn't ugly (maybe even beautiful) but Banky W is better-looking than her. See the relativity? I grew up with beauty. Siblings and relatives. So beauty is never number one on my priority list with a woman. A good-natured ambitious average-looking lady would get my attention quicker than a drop-dead gorgeous ill-mannered girl. But if that beauty matches with the characteristics I like, perfect. |
Emaprince:Wailing Obidients at it again! How dare you demand that a Nigerian company part-funded by Nigeria's money employ Nigerians over foreigners? Why can't you just see anything good in this even though Nigerians would get the shorter end of the stick?! Indians must come first before Nigerians in Nigeria, and there's nothing you can do about it!
|
LOL. A female told me, again, I have it repeatedly some minutes ago and I decided to check out what others are saying about "fine boy privileges". And I hear people make references of it to me. It exists. Humans are visual beings and being visually appealing is going to get people to be nicer to you. But it exists more for pretty females. As a good-looking guy, I'd admit it's been easier to charm my way into a secretary setting up an impromptu meeting with her boss, or women making direct advances, or women being more receptive to one, or people of interest being more relaxed around one. You have to be it to experience it. Probably why all good-looking men are erroneously painted as promiscuous 'cause they can get women easily with no monetary incentives given. As a man, good-looks would get you into a room, but you need to be intelligent and play the social game well to stay in that room. Pretty women just need to be pretty to get into and stay in the room. My good-looks woukd just buy me more time. I'm very aware of this reality. Probably the worst thing about being good looking is people assuming you have life easier by default. You'd have to put in the work like other men. Except you're going to debase yourself by being a gigolo or a leeching playboy, you don't have the world at your feet. My clients aren't going to cut me the slack for not delivering on time on a project just because of my looks. A pretty female, on the other hand, would get such privileges. That's why we have so many incompetent female front desk officers in companies who should otherwise lose their jobs. On the relationships scene, good looks mean you're more likely to rate looks second on your priority list. I've ditched women people consider very beautiful without thinking much of it, or just ignore them. I won't overlook sauciness or laziness because you're beautiful. I'm just as good looking as (or even better-looking than) you are so bring substance to the table. Real substance. The only leverage some have is good-looks so you being good-looking counters hers. |
Theflint1:Every member of Tinubu's PCC distanced themselves from Brymo. Visible foot soldiers ignored and didn't engage any such post. Seyi Tinubu invited and paid Timaya who has been critical of the APC in his songs #10 million for the Renewed Hope Concert while Brymo was relegated to deal with the haunting shadows of his tweets. All for what? Case study of how to tank a career. |

![]()

I just randomly remembered how Brymo staked his music career on the Altar of Corns months ago, with deep-seethed glaring targeted tribalism and other forms of prejudice in support of Tinubu. Months later, he's gotten nothing out of it, and maybe even worse off for it - less engagements with his art and brand, and having to recline into his (digital) shell giving how Tinubu's administration is turning out. I local-searched his name on Twitter minutes ago. Few mentions but mostly insults. All for what? We could ask these questions of those who attacked, trolled, and hounded those who predicted the outcome of a Tinubu presidency and campaigned for better options. Ask yourselves when you're all calm and reclining to have your me-time: All for what? Who really were the enemies of Nigeria's development all along? Those you attacked or the reflection you see in the mirror. ![]()

ShaqFu:Forget these Obidients, Joe. They like to complain about good governance. Such headless entitled mob asking for improved conditions for Nigerians. The nerve! Anyway, since you still might get the 8k or any such palliative, mention me on another thread so I'd reveal how I bought PMS at #103 per litre with my Agbado Vanguard Loyalty code. !True story, bro.
