AdisaOwala:No. It's about taking a stand. Check my posts. I have always insisted the SS and SE are my concern, and making that statement. Even if Obi wins, I am still questioning those who voted Tinubu. Until June 12, we still have these issues to battle with, regardless of the results, and we know who caused or worsened our issues. You can take your trolling somewhere else if you aren't self-reflective enough to discern. |
ShaqFu:Twisted logic. Did the people blame Buhari for Yahaya Bello's misrule and thuggery? Obi didn't campaign for them. They just jumped on his bandwagon and are coasting to victory. Just like a hated El Rufai did in 2015. I have been seeing LP candidates who didn't organise a single rally sweep polls in many areas. It's shocking because even LP party agents don't know these candidates' names. |
BlueRayDick:When it all ends, we'd still have naira notes scarcity, fuel subsidy, insecurity, corruption, and inflation to battle with. We will all bear the brunt without exception. That's is my odd consolation. Celebrate evil if you will, but don't complain when it gets to you like the New Convert Wailers on this thread all month after installing Buhari twice. I'm not perturbed. Knowing my loved ones and Itook the right moral and logical stand when the country is at its tipping point is comforting to my conscience. Whatever happens after that isn't on me. |
Even more interesting in these elections is that unknown candidates who jumped on the Peter Obi wagon would end up being House of Representatives members and Senators on the Labour Party playform. Some LP HoR and Senate candidates are sweeping results and people don't even know theirvnames. The Peter Obi effect might is just as powerful in the SS and SE ad Buhari's in the North West in 2015.

DissTroy:This was my comment in May, 2022 before there was an Obedient movement. As expected, Wike became the douchebag of the South South governors who went out of his way to ruin the process wanting more for himself. Of yiu have lived or live in Port Harcourt, you should have seen this coming. It was always about Wine's ego and what he could get, not Southern presidency. |
BlueRayDick:You want videos of what is happening in Rivers State? INEC officials being held at gunpoint. Videos and pictures. Rivers and some parts of Cross River in the South South. Oshiomhole irained havoc on Edo North too. |
Itsrm:This was not to be. There was already disenchantment against APC in Rivers in2021. In 2022, it was unsafe to mention Tinubu's name or APC in Rumuodara, Eleme, and Obigbo. Go down to the rural areas and it was the same. Wike muscled and rigged votes in those rural areas while all eyes were on PHALGA, Obio Akpor, and Onne. Abonema is making me proud though. Well, it's not rural but suburban. |
Many wards and polling units didn't vote in the South South due to INEC irregularities. Asides Bayelsa which has been promised, elections need to continue in Delta, Rivers, and Akwa Ibom. Valid documentations of elections not holding in many parts of these states. |
Itsrm:Obi's wife and Gov. Udom are from the same LGA. The people want Obi but Gov. Udom wanted to put up a showing as Atiku's DG. Udom and Obi are in-laws and Udom isn't willing to mussle the electorates against his in-law. A dilemma but Obi is coasting home to victory --- Wike has militarised the elections. Oil Mill, Elelenwo and Akpajo are unsafe currently. |
larride:Akpabio has been promised Senate Presidency. He has a history of being the most political benefactor in Akwa Ibom and puts his people in key positions. He doesn't even need to maim anyone. He just wants to deliver for bragging rights. Tinubu is enjoying the effects but Obi is leading. And yes, if I registered in Akpabio's Senatorial District, I'd vote him too for Snste even on the APC platform. Most of us would too. The PDP and LP candidates are all boys he raised and empowered. Only a miracle would make Akpabio lose and most would revolt if he loses. |
Wike singlehandedly militarised the elections in the South South. The killings, maimings and hostage-taking of INEC officials and electorates in Rivers and Cross River is crazy. Regardless of what side of the divide you stand on, this must be condemned. One has to imagine what Tinubu promised Wike to go all out on his people causing mayhem. That should scare anyone. |
izzou:Just as I expected with Obi sweeping. But INEC disenfranchised votes with the poor deployment of voting materials. We wanted more numbers for Obi. Party affiliation is almost non-effective. Even aged people were casting votes for different parties at the different contesting levels. |
chrisooblog:Two truths can exist. Tompolo is a destructive militant but he is also responsible for the reduction in pipeline vandalism in many areas of the Niger-Delta since his contract with the Federal Government. Criminals shouldn't be rewarded bit that's not the point now. Sunday Igboho was a thug for hire but he was also the most vocal opposition to killer herdsmen in the last 3 years. The reduction in Fulani Herdsmen attacks began when he started launching defense of South West territories. Southern Governors Forum began meeting more then and Civilian JTFs were formed to that regard. One of them was Amotekun. Fulani Herdsmen attacks reduced in the SE and SS too when the outcry became loud. Sunday Igboho was the spark which lit that candle. South East governors don't even respect or honour themselves regularly for meetings so how would Ebubeagu work? Plus they were focused on rivalry with IPOB for supremacy. |
chrisooblog:Asides the needless sensationist agitations, Sunday Igboho was fighting a good cause rallying up South West residents against murderous Fulani Herdsmen. His call to arms to defend Yorubaland was the incubator for Amotekun. Don't lump Sunday Igboho with the others. I don't think there's any account of him asking his supporters to maim and kill. He just asked them to defend Yorubaland from terrorist herdsmen. Same thing Amotekun has been dedicated to doing. |
afrodoc2:If Ekpa is tried in Nigeria, he'd be made into a martyr. The halfwits who follow him would say a Fulani government which hasn't brought Shekau and other BH terrorists to book and has been freeing them ganged up to bully an Igbo 'liberator'. Ekpa should be tried in Finland. |
Donjazet2:Shush it! There's no way to rationalise failure. You have a victim complex and a feminine psyche. You never want to really take responsibility for your shortcomings but would rather try to emotionally blackmail anyone to see from your twisted point of view. You are choosing Patrick as a soft target because you know he's less likely to go vituperative on you and he's an in-road to your craved redemption. Like a thief caught in a market who scans the faces of the apprehenders and picks on the one asking for explanation like, "Oga, see I was just saying let me test it when.." even when the Samsung phone he stole is still in his hand 300 meters from where he stole it. Shush it and return to Hypocritesville from whence you emerged! |
liveLongNprospa:See, when you understand every comment you make on Nairaland further reveals things about you unwittingly, you'd learn to be open. I converse on Nairaland the same way I'd converse on Facebook or Twitter or WhatsApp. There's nothing I have posted here that I haven't posted even more blunt versions of it on Facebook. Live life like there's a search beam on you at all times. And nobody can try to blackmail or get you to cower when you are first willing to post your own details consciously and willingly. See how Diggz tried to threaten that he'd post my pictures when I went all out against him on December 31st? I posted my pictures and some details of mine in response and told him I'd post more pictures of mine for everyone he posts. He left it at that. Someone in this section once commented on my temporary profile picture in October after it was shared by a popular redpill influencer celebrating me as a blunt guy who says what he will and truthfully too with facts, especially on women-men relationships. The Nairalander mentioned my Nairaland moniker on the picture but deleted it later. Because he'd seen my picture posted last February on the Chelsea thread. He's a Liverpool supporter but when I dug into his account and double-searched certain details juxtaposed on Nairaland, I found out his moniker. He'd be shocked I know who he is. He unwittingly revealed himself by trying to prove he knows me off-Nairaland. When Amoto began making tribal slurs against me, it took me less than 23 minutes to dig up his Facebook account, real names, pictures and the likes. Less than 23 minutes. I put pieces of random and scattered information I'd gotten from his account here on Nairaland and some advanced search. Anonymity is a myth. Nobody is truly anonymous on the internet. |
Olowunl01:The unrest in the SE by IPOB agitators works in favour of the FG or the ruling party which feels the SE doesn't vote its way. How best to show the alleged futility of the Biafran agitation by letting them self-destroy and pointing to them that they aren't ready for self-governance. Simon Ekpa has focused on targeting Igbos in Igboland. He's not asked them to go after FG assets and the likes. No election the SE means less votes against the APC at the national level. Yes, Yorubas on Twitter began the campaign against Adeyemi Grandson when his rhetoric became too violent. Igbos did too so why not so same to Simon Ekpa? Most ignored him for most parts. Igbos on the other hand validated Simon Ekpa and do nothing about him. If Simon Ekpa was a Northerner asking foot soldiers to kill Igbos in the SE, Igbos would have written petitions avgainst him. There are still many Igbos who vocally and actively support IPOB. I can post links of many prominent Igbos condemning the sit at home and you read the enshewing comments of other Igbos supporting the sit-at-home. How many Yorubas defended Adeyemi Grandson? Heck! When Brymo made tribalistic statements against the Igbos, many of the most vocal condemnations were by Yroubas too, even on this thread. |
If Yorubas didn't get Adeyemi Grandson arrested and jailed in the U.K., with the leadership gap left by Sunday Igboho after he was hunted down, Yoruba Nation agitators would have turned violent getting murderous directives from Adeyemi. Replace Sunday Igboho and Adeyemi Grandson with Nnamdi Kanu and Simon Ekpa, and you get the picture of what's playing out in the South East. The leadership vacuum left by Yusuf in 2009 allowed a more radical Shekau to fill the gap. Take responsibility for your actions (and inactions). |
Spy360:If there's no oil involved, Asari doesn't really give a tuppence. Throw oil in the equation and he'd mobilize even his dead ancestors as mercenaries. So tell me, how does Oba, Nnewi, or Ubakala have what Asari is interested in? |
Spy360:Asari Dokubo whose sole interest in life is oil bunkering, getting pipeline protection contract and beefing Tompolo who got the contract is who you say has time to forment trouble in the whole South East. Dokubo can't even forment trouble in Rivers and Bayelsa alone unchecked. Why isn't he formenting trouble in Edo and Akwa Ibom which tilt towards Obi? Take responsibility for your actions in feeding Kanu's rhetorics and not coming together to get diplomatic action against Simon Ekpa. Finland is signatory to many accords and if the Igbos truly want him brought to book, they'd do so. See how easy Adeyemi Grandson who was just inciting violence but didn't have foot soldiers was brought to book in the U.K.? Yorubas wanted him brought to book and did it. Learn from that. Asari is an arsehole but don't blame him for the unrest in the South East. |
ukaface:Go through her Facebook profile. She was obviously into prostitution. Shaking boobs and arse all over as I just saw. She made herself a target. Only left for men attracted to jobless uncultured women anyway. Can never demean myself by even having a conversation with such a female, not to mention sleeping with her. |
Donjazet, in a way you can unite Nigeria with your wicked stance. Try going on Twitter to reiterate the claims you made her than EndSARS protesters are foolish and see LP, APC, and PDP people unite for the first time in years. Try doing this Caveat is, whatever than union of agreement births in you losing your arms is entirely on you. But try it. This country is too divided along party lines now bit do it unite 200 million people. |
Donjazet2:Of course, same old tactics. When good ol' barefaced denials fail after being caught in the act, resort to playing the victims' card. "Oh! Poor innocent soul Donjazet is being hounded for being patriotic and seeking a better Nigeria. Nihilist is driving the narrative against me." I am the one attacking you directly. Face me. You won't since you can'y dig up old beef of you and I from 1846 to prove we are mortal enemies so I have an agenda against you. |
nihilistjnr:Donjazet2, you still need special receipts from me to prove your evil defence of EndSARS killings? You called youths killed while protest police brutality fools? You are the real resident evil. You dwell amongst us, sowing seeds of hatred against erstwhile comrades of yours who in retrospect were more humane than you. You supported Buhari for 8 years and mocked the victims of his misrule. And you threw those who were even more logical than you on this thread to be drawned and quartered for months on end on this thread and beyond, and even joined in to stone them. Even you, Brutus? Even you? |
Donjazet2:Donjazet2, you claimed calling out Raum is your significant ACHIEVEMENT. Achievement! If his reason for support is tribalism, is the reason for defending Buhari in 2015 to 2022 and claiming EndSARS killings didn't happen wickedness? In your own words, why would a smart person support Buhari twice and defend him after his abysmal performance in 2015 to 2019? Buhari was never a candidate a neutral person would be attracted to again in 2019 but you continued to support him even past 2020 after EndSARS. You offered others up to be roasted and acted the saint? This is the worst kind of evil - betraying your own comrades to save your own skin. Why?! |
chrisooblog:Another reason PYO appealed to me is his personality and that of those who work directly with him. From Laolu to his photographer to the others. Relatively young, easy-going intelligent professional people who just do their jobs without going out of their way to court unnecessary controversies, even during the primary campaigns. Unlike Tinubu's Bayo Onanuga, Keyamo and the likes. Imagine what can achieved by a president if his appointees focus on their job descriptions instead of being being propagandists. Imagine the sanity in the presidency, including how Mrs. Dolapo Osinbajo carries herself with dignity and only speak where necessary. Imagine... |
Osinbajo just said those in control of our oil structures must account for all the theft. Buhari has been Petroleum Minister since 2015 and sole administrator of everything oil in this country since then. Osinbajo just called your darling Buhari a petrol thief! I double-dare Tinubu and El Rufai to say this. PYO is a man. He was removed from heading the NEC for years so there's no way anybody can blame him for Buhari's failed economic policies. Prof has held the diplomatic front well and if he had headed the NEC, the Nigeria Startup Act which is his brainchild would be been implemented by now. He would have also ensured fintechs in Nigeria were ready to cushion the effect of the cashless policy if he was kept in the loop as he has a very good relationship with the ICT industry. May the universe never forgive APC for denying us a potential President Osinbajo. Never! |
BlueRayDick:Atiku reused the 2019 manifesto verbatim. The university professor who wrote the policy document cane out to complain in August that he's not been paid for it and he was supposed to be augmented by the Atiku team. The Obi vs Tinubu media slagging favours Atiku. PDP media team just relaxed for Hundeyin and the rest to do damage to Tinubu's chances in the North while Atiku walks in to mop up votes. And both Obi and Tinubu camps detest each other so much, they are willing to accept Atiku as an alternative. Even on this thread. |
raumdeuter: donjazet:Wait a minute... When Raum and Donjazet were still comrades-in-electioneering, Raum offered Donjazet as the official stripper of the Buhari train and he gladly accepted it? Our guy said "gladly". Like, " Just stripping? You know how many poles I have swinged from? Stripping is nothing. " We have a Eurosoccer Section official stripper? What in the hell is going on?!!!!! |
Kevin Spacey, you also denied EndSARS killings never happened as I have just found out. You denied the Lekki murder (and shootings) which was documented in audiovisuals but brought propaganda of plans to kill Igbos in Lagos with no proof even when those in the know countered it? Accursed mule. Donjazet2, the last arse-mender. |
Donjazet2:Foolish back-orifice ravager. You are not born of a woman if you don't keep to this promise. Worthless shirtless bow-tie-wearing freak of nature. Have time to match Disstrôy? I'd furnsih you with my full details then go after you. Heck! I'd give you my Facebook and Twitter usernames this minute and destroy you while at it since you'd have and see nothing against me. Infinity-faced hypocrite. You spent time calling your fellow Buharists tribalists but you are more guilty than most of them in enabling the man who ruined ruined Nigeria even more. May a gazillion bonobo monkeys mend you! |

it shows that many nigerians are not entirely ignorant.
