liveLongNprospa:Let me paint the picture better. Akpabio installed Udom against our wishes but we accepted grudgingly because Akpabio performed relatively well. And Udom was a private sector Zenith Bank E.D. so we wanted someone like him too compared to the alternatives. Akpabio decamped in 2018 as senator, became minister and a part of Tinubu's PCC. Tinubu's thinking is, if Akpabio, Udom's erstwhile godfather is with him, why is Udom not kowtowing too? Like, the man who made you governor is in my campaign team, who the hell are you? But in Akwa Ibom godfathers don't stay long. We cut them to sizes quickly. And we never joke with the office of the governor that's why Udom and Akpabio don't insult themselves, and party regardless, we don't rename monuments that have already been named after some former governors regardless of what political party they belong to. None of the governorship candidates are insulting the governor or vice versa publicly. It's the way we operate - rever the office publicly. -- Akpabio is focused on becoming senator and Senate President if APC wins majority senate seats. He's not concerned with any other person's election that's why he's refusing to join issues so far. Even the APC governorship candidate admitted this sometime ago. |
You know what I love best about all of these antics? While Tinubu has been creating new enemies and antagonising everyone and tribe in every state he campaigns in, especially with just weeks to the elections, Peter Obi has been quietly making friends and reaching across divides. The aggrieved persons are tilting towards the more civil and respectful candidate. Thank you, Tinubu, for solidifying Peter Obi's positions. May the gaffes and insults never cease from your mouth. |
liveLongNprospa:It's the office. What made it worse is, Udom Emmanuel gave a gentlemanly reply that same day that he'd be the bigger and civil person, and he left it at that. It's no longer about Udom Emmanuel but based on Tinubu's antecedence of denigrating sitting governors as boys, it's been successfully spinned to the office. Yes, even opposition governorship candidates reacted strongly to Tinubu insulting the governor because he's invariably told us we are led by a boy. ----- He should forget about 25%. Remember how I mentioned months ago that it's being spinned that Tinubu is against Ibom Deep Seaport? It has begun since Monday and it's gaining momentum. |
liveLongNprospa:Even APC folks in and from the state are attacking Tinubu. Media bites have begun making the rounds that every seemingly articulate sentence Tinubu mentioned in Akwa Ibom was whispered to him, including close-up videos of points like seaport, Peter Obi's states and the likes being whispered to him. When he began calling Atiku Senate President and Udom a "small boy" was when he deviated from advice and the written speech before him. Akpabio has distanced himself amongst the religious leaders and state elders from Tinubu's insults. Check his Facebook page - he refused to make reference to it, he just thank God for a successful rally and that is it. Remember that Akwa Ibom has two feet in Cross Rivers politics (I won't say control for the sake of respect) and is tied to Rivers political stance? Let's see the results Tinubu gets in the 3 states. Also, no more official venues for APC rallies in Akwa Ibom. Tinubu has given a reason to justifiy it. |
Diss troy, your guy don already dey respond to the attack from BAT. Last last Tinubu go insult everybody before election end. ! I already stated Udom would milk Tinubu's insults to his advantage. He'd give a gentlemanly reply to maintain his fine guy, nice guy image, but the undertones would be fiery. His people have pitched it as "The APC governorship candidate brought outsiders to come insult Akwa Ibom people as small boys". In 2019 when the APC governorship candidate insulted Udom publicly, he didn't respond. He ensured the man lost his ward, clan and LGA to humiliate him. Imagine a former deputy governor and NDDC Chairman losing his ward. That's the endpoint I expect here. --- Attached is the press release by 5PM the Akwa Ibom State Government gave. I warned hours before that they'd spin it as Tinubu insulting Akwa Ibom people. It's already spread far and wide. Tinubu ruined the APC guy's chances completely. Completely. There's no coming back from this.

ToyinDipo:Rubbish! You claimed Obi and Tinubu are the same to equate Obi who's been respectable to Tinubu's folly. I exposed your seething tribal reasons for choosing Tinubu and for campaigning for Buhari to be president till date from your own posts. What's your response? An insipid poorly-spaced Mumbo-Jumbo to mask your unrestrained parochialism even in the face of Nigeria's worsening sociopoliticoeconomics? You even called any tribesperson of yours who even supports anyone other than your own tribe føólish. Spare me your sermon. The heavens forbid I digest words of a backward dôlt. |
ToyinDipo:I won't hold my breathe. The did has been done - it being exposing your intentions and laying bare your prejudicial tribal nepotism for all to see. You can scurry away into the digital rabbit hole from whence you emerged. ![]() |
DissTroy:As at last week, Akwa Ibomites were slamming Udom. Tinubu has turned it in his favour yesterday. Just random screenshots of Akwa Ibomites whose profile I checked aren't holding any political office or pro-PDP. The big spin has begun - "Tinubu called Akwa Ibom people small boys". Cheers to your expected 25℅ votes. ![]()
|
ToyinDipo:Yeah, the usual "jobless" weak comeback when they are caught. Good that you have admitted you don't give a tuppence about Nigeria's development. You can vote Buhari a billions times if you will. Now you can be the self-serving anti-development crusader you are without trying to play neutral or equate Peter Obi to the lots. Live your reality. |
CrystalTiger:You think it's funny when Tinubu has further ruined the Akwa Ibom APC governorship candidate's chances? If you know the damage Tinubu's outburst did yesterday, you'd wish that campaign never happened. The Akwa Ibom APC governorship candidate is loved. Until the primaries he was in the PDP. He's a billionaire businessman who has never been in government and has refused appointments. He's also one of the brains behind Ibom Air. Has little enemies across party lines. Considered a bridge between Udom and Akpabio. All these should have been to his advantage and he'd considered the Labour Party (but who would have known LP would have been a force in April, 2022?) His campaign was also based on being his own man and not having a godfather even though APC is hated. Udom barely talks but is very vindictive. You'd not find his say anything negative about the opposition. Immediately Tinubu called him a "small boy", information I got is there was an emergency meeting of religious leaders aka " fathers of faith" and traditional rulers this morning about Tinubu insulting the office of the governor. His media team are already pushing the narrative that Tinubu insulted Akwa Ibom people and considers them as "small boys". Guess how that is being received by Akwa Ibomites all over the world? Tinubu unwittingly campaigned for Peter Obi and ruined whatever chances Akan Udofia has of being governor. Tinubu should never have been at the Akwa Ibom campaign. Udom was counting on Tinubu's gaffe. Local-search " Udom Tinubu small boy" on Facebook to begin with. In the next few days, you'd realise why Udom has a nice guy image in the media - he spends a lot on it. |
ToyinDipo:Same you on February 23, 2019 (days to the 2019 presidential election even when Buhari had proven to be a disaster). Even with the cry of Nigerians, you supported Buhari in 2019 based on tribal sentiments but today Tinubu being unsellable, you want to equate him to Peter Obi. ToyinDipo:https://www.nairaland.com/5040974/2019-presidential-election-live-updates/45#76045974 It was and is never about a better Nigeria for you but about tribal affiliations. Even boasted that #30k minimum wage was enough to relieve Nigerians of suffering. You lots can only fool those who don't dig into you. ![]() |
"They may be lying. Most of them buy bunkered Diesel at a cheaper rate and mix with the original to make more profit"Exactly! This is what I explained in depth last month and the dumb Shekau-lite doesn't understand when he brought it up days ago. In fact, the scarcity is an incentive for bunkering. Since when the fuel crisis began, have you read of oil bunkerers being busted? Or them being caught by the Navy? Fueling stations in the South buy a lot of bunkered oil. And this didn't begin today. The government is involved. Very much involved and I have explained this in detail in the past. Anyone from the Niger Delta on this thread who claims he doesn't know about these illegal activities go on is a liar. Heck! Military personnel's have been exposed for owning illegal refineries in Rivers and Delta just last year. |
thebosstrevor1:The highlighted is why I'm leaning towards continuing to bootstrap the fintech product I am building in the meantime. If and when I get co-founders, it only would be tech ones who understand VC culture so they know scaling at its own pace works best. A document signing startup raised $5 million the other day as featured on Y Combinator and their business model is sketchy. |
BlueRayDick:Learn graphic design first. Photoshop first. Then use Canva to replicate graphics and UI later. It'd be easier for you to phase into Figma for UI/UX after you've learnt graphics and replicating UI. Adobe XD should be secondary. Clients and employers ask for PS, Figma and Canva proficiency. Well, that's the path I took and I'm self-taught with YouTube videos and replicating UIs to learn quickly. Enjoy UI and you'd naturally want to get into frontend development. |
It's the nature of politics you can't criticize your own camp. No matter how Biden mess up, no Democrat especially one hoping to be the party flagbearer will throw him under the bus. You try to own and deflect the fuckupsIs this true? Let's confirm. It's a lie. AOC, Ilhan Omar, and many other Democratic Party leaders and elected office holders have criticized and continue to criticize some of Joe Biden's politics and antics since be became POTUS. Tinubu was cool with Buhari's misgivernance in exchange for envisaged support. Same Buhari who mocked EndSARS killings, asking what they were doing at Lekki Tollgate to be shot at? Same one who asked us where the cows are in the thick of the Fulani herdsmen murdering spree in the South West? Same one who asked the government to print more money? Now that he isn't getting all the support from the presidency the way he wants, he's screaming blue murder.

DissTroy:When I made this post, I deliberately altered the Réccy's moniker as a bait. Réccy has been inactive without posting since on the 19th of January (1 week ago), but when I made reference to him without spelling his moniker correctly, the hitherto inactive moniker popped out of the blues to quote me. You know why? Amoto quickly notified his desperate PR boy on WhatsApp or called him to come defend him on Nairaland. Exactly what Shekau-lite told him to post on Nairaland on the 27th of December - the failed PR attempt. I conditioned you to do my bidding from the very beginning. Once again, you reiterated my statement that you have Réccy on speed dial to give you some level of false credibility. But I am busting it right through. You were playing a losing game from the very beginning. You were the willing pawn to prove my point. ![]() |
Amoto94:Okay. VACANCY: Senior Lyñcher A 'reputable' firm is seeking the services of an experienced lyñcher to resume within 7 days. Job is on-field. Requirements: ➡️Proven experience handling knives, machetes, and matches in riot settings ➡️Portfolio counts of lyñching at least 26 people (15+ count of lyñching innocents being an advantage) ➡️Proven experience initiating and execúting lyñching targets ➡️ Skill in the latest no-look-stábbing in crowded settings Please note: AAA rating in detonating Ç-4s is a competitive advantage Qualified persons should forward their CVs/résumés to amoto[at]shekaulitefanatics.com . Copied as received. 😎 |
Amoto94:Nice try. Hoping you make random claims so I'd get on the defensive. That fueling stations buy from oil bunkerers is known to everyone from the Niger-Delta on this thread. Never done fuel business. What I do is tech and nothing more. You are the one who has an example (even though fictional) for every situation even though you are just a village boy in the backwards of the country. A loafer. ----- You claim you know killers. Amoto94:You doubled down on it by reiterating to everyone on this thread you grew up amongst rough people with killers. In other words, all your life you've lived amongst killers. Since we are the products of our environment(s) especially in the formative years, little wonder you are a killer. You get orgasmic when people are lynched and innocents are murdered. Stupid murderous kidnapper. IamOyindamolaa cautioned you to stop extremism and you threatened his daughter. You have invited him over and he keeps turning you down. The guy knows he'd not see the next minute if he ever encounters you and your killer friends. Swear on your life that you didn't get info of the Kaduna train kidnappings before it happens or you haven't participated in armed robbery along Okene - Abuja road. Swear! |
On the 27th of December, immediately the terrorist Shekau-lite came under the spotlight, again, for fanatical claims, guess what he did? Induced Recy, a known unstable juvenile on this thread, to come do PR work for him. I mean, the same Recy who had already mentioned he's scared of Shekau-lite's extremist views? Same person Oyindamola stated he turned down an invite to meet because he's an extremist?
I have the privilege of meeting Amoto for the first time this morning. He is such a jovial, straightforward and ambitious person. We discussed variety of issues and also talked about happening here. Thank you Amoto for the hospitilality!!!
You should know a PR job when you see one. Now go copy-and-paste some date palm farming job for Syrians and in Syria then paste it here. "Copied as received." Clown. |
Amoto94:Don't worry about me, terrorist. I am known. My full names have been put on this forum. I have put my pictures on display. I have cited what I do for a living and always contribute basically on professional discussions in the tech field on this forum and beyond. My information is up. You are the murderous blóôd-craving dîmwît who induced Réccy, a low-lifer on this thread who has not even found a direction in life at his age, to come do PR work that he met you in December and you are a nice person to salvage your Nairaland reputation which you hold so dear. You're the accûrsed representation of everything wrong with Nigeria, and even those who you call 'brethen' shun associating with you. Shekau-lite feeling funky. |
Amoto94:As A00-1 pointed out in the last page, this is only for US citizens or permanent residents. -- If anything, this is another proof of my assertion over the months that anytime your fanaticism is called into question, your next step is to flood the thread with random job postings you copied from God-knows-where with some tacky "posted as received" like someone high up sent it to you even know it's your sly way of taking attention away from your murderous tendencies and you thinking it's some sort of penance for your terroristic inclinations. Live ypur reality, Shekau-lite. There's no need to try to be someone else. |
New militant group, Egbesu, threatens Buhari and state governors; demands emancipation for Niger Delta. https://www.nairaland.com/7536537/new-militant-group-force-egbesu ----- You gave Tompolo #4 billion protection contract with a registered company and announced it. Asari Dokubo threatened everyieb for being sidestepped. The boys in the creeks have seen they can make the government bend to their will. The real question is, how come Akwa Ibom which is the largest oil-producing state doesn't have a militancy problem but Bayelsa and parts of Rivers State do? One would expect the more oil, the more militant the area is. How come Bayelsa and Rivers militants dominate the amnesty programs yet keep fighting and pushing the militancy agenda? If you negotiate with anyone who threatens terror, they'd always use terror threats to extort you. The amnesty program was just a temporary relief. It was never going to be a solution. |
Amoto94:The good thing is: 1. You've accepted Shekau-lite is your name, and; 2. Murderous terrorists are your people. Live your reality, my kaboomist friend. |
Theflint1:When Ambode got into office in 2015 and the LASG audited government spendings. It was found Fashola budgeted #78 million for a personal website of his. It was suppose to be a digital archive but it was nothing more than an "About me" website with < 10 pages. Even at the going rate then and the content on it, there's no way that website was worth #3 million (including hosting). And it wasn't managed as the content was outdated There's no way the guy or agency which was subcontracted to build it got #2.5 million for it then. It was a regular template website with less than 9 pages. I bet if one looks into the LASG website or RVSG website budget annually, it'd run into hundreds of millions of naira put together. There's no way the subcontractor got #5 million for building each. Or up to #3 million to maintain it annually. Even the RVSG government website's SEO was hacked in October which I alerted the authorities to and nothing was done about it because no maintenance. I'm sure more millions have been budgeted for it this year too. Serious corruption going on. |
monerozi5590:Like everyone else, they have their shortcomings. But my claim is based on a fact. The Yorubas are the least tribalistic of the major tribes. Heck! Of the hundreds of tribes in Nigeria, the Yorubas would always be top 5 of the least tribalistic ones by default. Yes, a Yoruba man might tease you with Omo Igbo or Omo Calabar but it's just what it is - teasing. How many times do ethnic or tribal riots occur and you see Yoruba landlords or neighbours sellout non-Yorubas to be lynched? (Even the OPC - Hausa-Fulani bike riders/abbatoir clashes are one the streets, not going from house to house removing and lynching innocents. Happens with the Hausa-Fulanis daily in the Hausa-Fulani areas in the North. The Agberos in Lagos, Ogun or Oyo would target an Igbo man's business for extortion and extort a Yoruba man's own the same way. The Omo oniles would extort non-Yorubas and Yorubas equally. A Yoruba man would scam his 'brother' the same way he'd defraud you, a non-Yoruba. If he commits a crime against you, ethnicity isn't his filter by default. Meet a Yoruba man anywhere in the world and for some reason you guys interact and you happen to speak Yoruba and/or grew up in the same areas as him? Screw it! You are automatically his buddy or kindred spirit. In the tech space in Nigeria, a Yoruba man is more likely to connect you with opportunities to grow either as a skilled person or founder than any other person of any ethnicity. PayStack, Flutterwave, Okra.ng, PayDay... I can go on. Most of the first investors - the angel investors - who believed and took a risk on these early stage founders (many of whom weren't Yorubas) were Yorubas. Even connecting you to clients or outsourcing agencies for gigs. If you've lived amongst Yorubas for a long time either from birth or childhood, you're more likely to see the world from a nationalistic or global outlook than just ethnicity. You'd imbibe it naturally. That's why of every 100 tech startups making waves in and from Nigeria, there's a Yoruba connected to the very success of 80 even if he isn't the founder. I've stated this on Nairaland. I've stated this on Facebook. I've stated this a thousand times and over. Just because I'm against Tinubu being President doesn't mean I shouldn't extoll the virtues of his tribe which I and mine have experienced and continue to experience firsthand where necessary. Two truths can exist. |
seankafor:Maybe you should have thought twice about defending fraud over the years . Your account number is up. Your name is traced. You've admitted to your name and being a fraudster. It took only an email address posted on Nairaland to connect the dots with Invictus. You've given more than that. Your only hope is EFCC being as shamefully ineffective as it is and you not getting on the radar of more organised foreign anti-fraud agencies. But continue bragging about fraud and doubling down on it. Live for the moment. ![]() |
seankafor: seankafor:Sadio Mané influenced Bayern Munich to sign his childhood friend over others waiting to be. Did he explore his advantage because he could? Yes. Did he defraud anyone? No. Compare it to the BluRay post about INEC adhoc job. UK PM flouted a traffic rule? Did he commit fraud? You are a self-confessed fraudster. Everyone still engages you here at intervals. But by no means think because we do, everyone here condones fraud or commits fraud. Or it's because Nigerians are typically fraudsters. You can continue with your back-and-forth now to quieten the bickering voices in your head but you and yours are a small fraction of Nigerians - you do not represent the majority. |
seankafor:Tell yourself this every night to make you sleep better. You might say the average Nigerian flouts rules because he can get away with it most times but the average Nigerian is by no means a fraudster. Flouting rules like not obeying traffic rules or jumping a queue doesn't equate fraud. You and your ilk by no means represent everyday Nigerians. And for me and millions of most Nigerians who have never defrauded anyone, I take exception to your labeling. This nonsense stereotyping is why Nigerian service providers have to cross countless accountability hurdles unlike their counterparts to get the same thing others get. Defraud who you will but don't think most of us are the same as you. |
sageb:I have nothing against Akpabio being Senator. He's a better representative than Ekpoudom can be or the other guy with the PDP ticket. I hope he wins even though there's serious apathy for the APC in the region as a whole and he's smart enough not to be anti-Peter Obi because that's swimming against the tide. I'm more concerned with who becomes Governor. It certainly shouldn't be OBA and I'm aversed to Umo Eno too. Both YPP and PDP respectively. I have too many things against OBA which aren't personal. Too many. |
hopefulLandlord:Yar'Adua being depicted as a good president is false. You'd hear people say, "Yar'Adua was the best President of Nigeria" or "Yar'Adua was our last good president". And it's so much of a lie it peeves me. ASUU went on strike several times between 2007 and mid-2010 during his presidency. - He mishandled the Boko Haram issue which was just a fanatical sect then but wasn't a terrorist group by torturing their leader Yusuf to death in police custody in 2009 and they became violent thence. - Corruption was also rife under Yar'Adua. Monies were misappropriated and his wife, Turai, was extremely notorious for land-grabbing and stealing properties. Don't just believe me - research everything I've stated. - There was inflation (even though marginally compared to now). So how was Yar'Adua our last GOOD president? Because he's dead and we've had it worse since then? Nigerians forget too quickly. |
BlueRayDick , I went on Twitter just minutes ago to check on tech feeds in my network. This is what I saw. Potentially getting $500k and Lagos to New York to fund a startup just like that. The more interesting thing is, I checked out the start-up the guy wants $250k funding for. Still in ideation stage as he has no MVP yet. Just proof of concept at best. Even Y Combinator would pass over you without an MVP. This is what Osinbajo was pushing for - democratising access to resources for startups. I remember we had a conversation about it the other time.
|
raumdeuter:Another liar. Peter Obi: "IF it were turn by turn, as an Igbo man, it is my turn. But it is not. I'm not running as Igbo but as a Nigerian." This is what Peter Obi said verbatim.. The thread is still on frontpage. Revel in whatever tribal and personal entitlement Tinubu has professed to have but don't drag others into it to feel better about your twisted political stance. |
