Kagd10:You are from Ondo State and worse, from Ilaje. You aren't from Lagos, you freak of nature! You are a riverine bushman who lives on stilts and whose hometown would never know what it feels like to have good roads, electricity, streetlights, security and more? Accursed backward Ilaje bushman! |
God1000:Ironically, the Russian economy is doing better than the NATO countries. Even pro-West media outfits are admitting this. |
Kagd10:So you are from Ondo State but claiming Lagos State because Ondo is underperforming, underdeveloped and rudderless? You are not even Yoruba but from the fringes - the subethnicity that is mocked and ridiculed by the main Yoruba stock who don't consider you equals? You are Illaje from Ondo State. It took me less than 4 minutes of digging into you to find out your true state of origin. Ilaje bushman! Kagd10: |
Kagd10:See? That's the difference between you and I. I hail from Akwa Ibom with roads only competing with Abuja, no governor stealing public properties as theirs, the most peaceful and secure, the cleanest and more, yet I and millions of Akwa Ibomites still hold our governors and leaders by the hair to deliver dividends of democracy while you lick the balls of those who steal you empty. Heck! You aren't even originally from Lagos State but one of those run-down low-economy low-value states. |
16inchdick:Shush it! Since 2020, Akwa Ibom has been getting the highest allocation. Once in a few months, Lagos or Delta rivals us. It's why we give our governor hell and don't praise him like the rest of the country do because we expect more from him and he shouldn't be judged with the yardstick of others. So rich we have two private jets on standby for the state government packed at our international airport by our airline. So rich 3 LGAs in Akwa Ibom control the allocation of Osun State. Kagd10:True! You are proving my point. Private business owned by Tinubu to siphon public money owned by the Lagos State people and government. Thank you. |
Michelle70:I double-dare you to prove Obi's donations are funded by government funds. The onus is on you to prove it. Kagd10:Money from Alphabeta which Tinubu owns ànd controls all LASG revenue? Money from his daughter taxing all traders in Lagos? Money from collecting fees for all public adverts in Lagos through his son, Seyi Tinubu? |
jimetagambo:Akwa Ibom gets #21 billion as security vote annually. In 2018, Nigerian governors got a perpetual court injunction barring anyone from probing the expenditure of security votes allocated to states. That unaccounted for security votes form part of the largesse they use as Santa Claus. |
Michelle70:Akwa State Government gets the highest allocation and even at that, the money isn't Udom's to give without asking us from the state. Good intention but it's still our money, not his. Peter Obi's donation is a personal one. Even Tinubu's donation would be from government coffers ala AlphaBeta. |
liveLongNprospa:There's no core Northern prominent politician who doesn't propagate extreme regional politics. Even Kwankwaso is same that's why he got shelved by the Third Force. To get Northern support, you must be publicly seen as a propagandist of Northern supremacy. |
Donjazet2:Asides the SEO value which can't be matched, Nairaland - this thread in particular - is an echo box of mostly regurgitated stale opinions by obstinate persons who never want to take cognizance of facts even when presented in the purest of forms. It's all about the replies and attempts at 'owning' the other persons even at the expense of factual information. Set in their ways like cooling magma. We told them Tinubu is despised in most parts of the country he needs votes. Not tribalism - despised as a person and most don't want to join their campaign with his. They retorted once the campaigns officially kick-off, Tinubu would dominate. The kickoff began 3 weeks ago but he's held the 419th number of rally in Lagos and a few neighbouring states with no acceptance outside. It's been news after news of him being played and his money collected for other reasons. From Akwa Ibom to Rivers to Ebonyi to Calabar to Benue to Nassarawa to Kano and Kaduna, he's being played all over. How many of their predictions have come to pass? None. Heck! How many of those boasting about Tinubu's dominance are even close to source? How many of them can even influence votes? How many can confidently show their faces and give their details here and now (I can and match it up with full details) so we can gauge their reach. I have insisted from the onset that APC candidates are shying away from the Tinubu campaign. I have offered to mention names of PDP candidates and faithfuls openly campaigning for Peter Obi. I have exemplified with Atiku being disgraced in his supposed stronghold and ridiculed by his DG's people. I have mentioned time and again that Osinbajo's men and allies are openly supporting Obi and are constantly ridiculing Tinubu. PYO's DG has refused to even join the BAT campaign and this is someone who is friends with the Lagos State Governor. Richard Akinnola, Ademola Adigun and the likes. As far back as March before the Primaries, I mentioned those behind Obi's emergence and how it'd all play out in details on the Chelsea thread (I have quoted and would do so again with the evidence). I mentioned how the Third Force began and gave specific names Ask the same chestbeaters to show you which of their analyses in that timeframe has been accurate so far? Many don't even have PVCs, immediate spheres of influence to decide a voting bloc or even properly understand the import of the issues they supposedly are dissecting. Ask to see their Facebook or other social media accounts vituperating like they are here and you'd realise they have no substance. None! |
This was the point Nigerians knew they had to do something drastic else they'd end up with this man. This was the being of the awakening which led to the heralding of the movement which Peter Obi personifies. |
OkpaNsukkaisBae:No state in Nigeria tops Lagos and Ogun States for thuggery. None. And these are state-backed thugs. From Abeokuta to Ifo to Ota to Ijoko to Alagbado to Ketu to Oshodi to Ikeja and even Maryland. That's a whole stretch of Agberoistan where thugs run the streets and cause mayhem with government officials (LASTMA, NURTW e.t.c) looking the other way; except, sometimes, federal government security personnel. Worse is, the supposed community vigilante organisation - the OPC - are culpable too. You don't want me to get started on the murderous ritualistic tendencies of these folks - the OPC - too. No state tops Lagos and Ogun for thuggery. The rise of armed banditry in some parts of the country since Buhari came to power is a different ball game entirely. |
DissTroy:Exactly 3 days after I made this post, Atiku kicked off his campaign in Akwa Ibom at the International Stadium and was disgraced by PDP faithfuls and others alike who were singing "Obi Kerere nke, Obi" blaring from loudspeakers and shouts of "Obidient". Just search "Atiku Peter Obi Uyo" on YouTube. If you think government officials weren't involved in it then you might as well believe the Earth is flat. I told you as early as April and May that Akwa Ibom and Rivers States are spearheading Peter Obi's campaign in the South South regardless of party divides. Some of you scoffed while others stated once the campaign begin, Atiku would get massive support in the South South. I also told you Peter Obi is the reason Atiku got bloc votes in these areas and Obi shifting base would expose Atiku. One or two scoffed at it. https://www.nairaland.com/920248/official-chelsea-fan-thread-champions/14229#113170019 Whatever ridicule Atiku saw in Akwa Ibom is nothing compared to what Tinubu would see if he dares campaign in these areas. Forget the South South and South East. It's a done deal. You can either accept the truth or listen to the bickering voices in your head(s) telling you otherwise. |

Long distance relationships or marriages for extended periods are a complete waste of time. I can understand 1, 2 or 3 months but 6 months for a virile male isn't worth it. Asides the sexual cravings, there's the need for physical touch and interactions. It's better if you choose a line of work which makes your time and location flexible at any point. That's why remote work works best for family-oriented people who don't want to sleep around. At least one of you should do it. That way any level of relocation can involve both of you without the income reducing. |
DissTroy:News minutes ago: Delta Governor, Okowa-led Administration Sacks Aide For Supporting Labour Party’s Candidate, Peter Obi - Information Nigeria ------ This is a governor on a Presidential ticket being defied by his employees. I did mention Akwa Ibom State government officials, and PDP and APC faithfuls are openly supporting Peter Obi months ago. And last night too. Same in Rivers State. I even offered to give links to Facebook accounts of these officials. Open support. But, hey, continue to believe your own concoctions instead of those in the know. ![]() It's Obi season.
|
A40:No, bloodbath - it's a complete surrender when government officials are openly rooting for Obi and when APC candidates who wanted Osinbajo are now rooting for Obi (I mentioned this even back in May.June). Akwa Ibom, Edo, Rivers, Bayelsa and Cross River are done deals in that order. Delta would be split because of the Okowa factor. Like I have kept reiterating from the very beginning, I'm focusing on the South South where I hail from, and for us, it's Obi or nothing. |
Gboy1026:It's all Labour Party. Here's the arrangement: PDP would retain at the state, senatorial and lower levels while Obi takes the Presidential votes. Gov. Udom Emmanuel is the DG of the Atiku Campaign yet PDP candidates and faithfuls are openly campaigning for Obi. If you disagree, there's a caveat but I'd post links to the Facebook accounts of PDP candidates, government appointees, state government media aides and the likes who are openly supporting Peter Obi yet campaigning for their candidates at lower levels. Same in Rivers State. Udom Emmanuel has also been appearing in church invites with Peter Obi. Dunamis e.t.c More than a coincidence. 3 months ago, I kept reiterating the South South is voting Obi en masse, and the kingpins and moneybags of the PDP (Rivers and Akwa Ibom) are spearheading it. In fact, I mentioned it before the primaries. (There's a reason why Gov. Udom hasn't commented on the PDP crisis even though he and Wike are allies). The whole of Akwa Ibom tech community (in the state and outside) are routing for Peter Obi. Mark Essien of the famous Hotels.ng (who hails from Ikot Ekpene) is one of our organisers. You either believe the concoctions or take it from those of us in the team. |
ShaqFu: ShaqFu:Aha! Here they are: lexical 'terrorists' of yesteryears. |
If there's a football heaven, I bet there are some beings there who just say, "You know what? Barça - Bayern again because we can". Too regular to be random now. Too predictable to be. |
Amoto94:May drugged apes pillage everything you hold dear for lying barefaced. ----- You defended Fulani herdsmen here by criticising the BBC for exposing them. 1. Amoto94 supports terrorism and is against their exposure. Amoto94:This is just one of your comments defending. Fulani herdsmen are top 5 most dangerous terror groups in the world. Your tacit criticism to their exposure amounts to defending the terrorists and support for them. 2. Here is Amoto94 justifying the gruesome murder of Deborah in May 2022 and insisting on it. Amoto94:"Show me where I supported Deborah's killing" - Amoto94. May 14, 2022: Check below. Amoto94:Cue the ensuing comments and even moderate Muslims on the Chelsea thread condemning him. https://www.nairaland.com/920248/official-chelsea-fan-thread-champions/14116#112912308 Even worms would reject your decaying cranial matter given the twisted thought processes which go in it. Dîmwïttéd offspring of a néwt! |
donjazet:You better believe there are no neutrals here. Everyone has an agenda. Playing neutral is also an agenda so they can emotionally blackmail the otherside firing from all cylinders to tone down while turning a blide eye to the side they tacitly support. Again, Nairaland is the second most visited Nigerian website after Bet9ja and ranks the highest in Google search results. Twitter, Facebook and research platforms like Nairametrics and Researchgate regularly reference Nairaland threads and comments. Noticed there are only about 200 active users on this thread (main + alternate accounts) but almost 54 thousand views? Counter the lies and half-truths with facts else they'd spread and seep into the fabric of our national discourse in no time. |
Shegzdave:Please! There are 8 billion people in the world and 200 million people in Nigeria. Why do you think the elevation of your socioeconomics is tied to the, what, 80 or 90 monikers active on this thread or this section at any given time? This mentality is why people allow themselves get lord over in this section - because of what they might get. You expect him to tone down the causticity of the truth even in the face of barefaced lies and hypocrisy just so he wouldn't offend the persons who don't care if the country burns or wrecks just for the fleeting satisfaction of saying, "We won! We are not your mate"? Let people be causitic if they want to be as long as what they posit is the truth. If our supposed activists and union leaders were caustic enough to face those who plunder the country without holding back or seeking to capitalize on the social capital for personal gains, Nigeria wouldn't be in the socioeconomic mess it is in today. You probably mean well but let people express themselves unreservedly in truth and facts. |
Amoto94:Maybe they are; then again, maybe they aren't. But their saving grace is they aren't like you. You support Islamic terrorism and justify the baeless murder of innocents who do not align with your fanatical religious leanings. They'd find redemption in a better Nigeria. Your conscience, however, is lost, never to be regained like burnt wood to ashes blown away by the wind. ![]() |
Delta has absolutely no reason to owe any worker. It rivals Akwa Ibom and Rivers States for FAAC allocations. That's the hálfwit Atiku chose as VP. |
Android22:Atiku's Igbo wife is Jennifer Atiku. She didn't change her name or convert to Islam at any point even as at February 2022 when they had issues. https://guardian.ng/news/atikus-wife-confirms-divorce-rumours-clarifies-row-over-assets/ The same baseless lies you push about Peter Obi. Thank the Heavens for the democratisation of information which is the internet else the gatekeepers and old guards of journalism which are traditional media houses most in which Tinubu has vested interests in would have sold us lies we couldn't verify and led us to sociopoliticoeconomic slaughter. I'd always sieve out lies when I get on this thread. That's as certain as certainty. In a bid to sell pebbles as diamonds and market horseshit as antimatter, you tell needless lies to fool people on the internet. Barefaced unintelligent propaganda has become your stock-in-trade. |
ShaqFu:It's very easy. Just archive all the web packages (including database) then delete the whole web files. Then upload new web files you have developed. If you use a CMS, you just have to delete then reinstall and begin a whole new development to remove all cached files. Got nostalgic a couple of years ago then decided to check out www.eskimi.com . Turns out it's an agency now. Myspace.com has pivoted too. You can still view some accounts like Don Jazzy and Banky W but you can't login. The easiest way of seeing the cached web files is searching Archive.org . In fact, if Nairaland ever crashes today, you can still see threads and comments in archive.org. But what you'd see would just be the HTML files/webpages so they won't look responsive or beautiful. |
Illimitable:You are a worthless piece of trash. You posited the website wasn't created for propaganda and I showed you how websites are done. The whole Milky Way Galaxy would have to freeze over before you or your ilk best me virtually or in person. That has been proven time and time again. Your claim to any level of credibility here is when the "Eguns are not Yoruba" crooner refers to you as "Aburo". Fitting because you have the least developed brain here. Next time you posit the hogwash which is your thought process, be sure to remember you are in a public forum of people whose intelligence surpasses yours multiples time and over. The bounds of your stupîdîty are illimitable. |
Illimitable:You are a halfwît. If you know nothing about how websites work, take a back bench and sit it out. With CMS like WordPress and Drupal, you can backdate a post. I can create a website today then while posting, change the post date to 2017. You can even do on-page SEO to fool Google into thinking it's an old webpage. You can create a website for one purpose then redesign/redevelop it delete away all previous post files and posting something different all together without changing the domain. It's called "pivoting". Similarweb.com would still rank the website creation date as it was from the beginning. Eskimi.com used to be a dating website for more than a decade; now it's a brand imaging and marketing platform and all dating chat history files wiped from the database. |
If the same people reportedly - reportedly- threatening Tinubu not to campaign in the South East opened their arms to Osinbajo even though he's paired with Buhari who's háted in the south, the main question is, why Tinubu? Since Osinbajo and Tinubu are Yorubas and in the same party, why the disdain for Tinubu? You might resort to the usual quip of "Tinubu dethroned their son, Jonathan that's why they hate him", but Osinbajo is the bigger beneficiary of that " dethronement" so how come he's still loved? Tinubu is unsellable is the answer. A drug dealer and sickly geriatric man. A man unwittingly endorsed the genocide of the Igbos in Lagos in 2015 through his stooge of an Oba. If you had any conscience, you'd realize the threat of genocide after a civil war is not something the victims would forget easily. And that's just one reason. |
