I honestly can't give a proper estimate about this as of now. When I set up mind then I spent a little above 11million because I have to buy land and build the factory then buy the machines (2) and all other equipments like the reserve osmosis ozone machine, filters which has to be changed regularly, I had three tanks. You need to find those companies that deal on installation of the machines to give you a complete estimate of buying and installing. That will help better. As for Nafdac you can only apply once your factory is ready because they need to inspect it before issuing you a nafdac number.
You also need to find were they print and sell the sachet rolls and packing bags. I remember the first payment is quite higher because of the printing work they have to do on the sachet rolls but after that the price comes down because they already have your design and will continue printing your rolls in kg at your order.
Try to go to any water factory in your area to speak with the manager. You can also try to find out about the chairman of the association in your town and the person can even help you out with more information about how you can go about everything.

My dear, let me be very honest with you, if you or your dad would not be available to sit down in the factory and monitor the workers very well I can tell you that your dad might end up shutting down the factory in no time.
500k will not even go anywhere because you need the sealing machine, borehole and tanks, reverse osmosis machine, and ensure its a very neat environment so that Nafdac will be impressed when they come to inspect it. I don't think the fee was more than 100k plus tips so they get your number as quickly as possible.
Another thing is your sachet rolls which would be printed with the name and Nafdac number. There is a way they calculate how you buy the rolls per kg and you have to budget nothing less than 100k on a weekly basis for than but it also depends on your production capacity.
You should also be aware that there is an association for every pure water producing company called ATWAP or so and you have to register with them because you cannot sell your pure water without doing that. They will give you the stickers which has to be on your supply vehicles because of you don't have it, your vehicle will be seized whenever they catch you distributing water.

Remember you will need at least two Dyna trucks in order to be able to make a reasonable profit in the business if not you will end up spending all the money being made on fuel, production materials, salaries etc.

That business is not as easy as people think, especially with the competition just take note that some of the pure water producers are ready to go spiritual for your company not to come and reduce market for them.

In all, for you to start up a pure water factory I believe you should have nothing less than 2million that is if you already have the property for the factoy. Never ever think of using a rented property to run a pure water factory.
