“In all of these, I have never seen a better scenario in the annals of our nation which fits the saying that life, indeed, has come full circle!”
Serves both of them right. I wish Abacha himself is alive so the list can be complete. They never knew that the Progressive camp of MKO will be President one day. Check my signature for free stuffs! Where is Buhari, Jonathan, Obj today? All retired Power is transient Tinubu too one-day will be retired too All these power to me are just vanity. Drienzia: For some reasons, I don’t consider Pep as an exceptional coach like the media portrayed. Any manager to have coached City since the Arab owner took over had always won the EPL. Mancini did, Pellegrini did, unluckily they had just three years each. It took Pep 7yrs to win it with City, it’s possible both previous managers would had done it if they were given same number of luxury years create, dynamite and recreate a stronger team.
The two previous managers built City and left a strong City side with the likes of Toure Yaya, Vincent Kompany, Aguero etc, so it’s safe to say Pep inherited a strong city side and built on it.
Pep is a great coach no doubt but certainly not a tactical genius as the likes of Klopp’s Liverpool, Mourinho’s Chelsea of 2004, and Ferguson’s UTD that created a mountain out of a molehill. For the past 7yrs at City he spent over a billion euros, no manager has spent such in a single spell in a team, so winning the UCL is the barest minimum.
Congratulations to City, and it’s safe to say the EPL is the new farmers league, the reason also is not because of Pep’s brilliance, it’s because football has died not only in England but the entire Europe and we have so many players with no passion but just for the weekly wages. The generation of Ferdinand, Vidic, Terry, Sketel, Puyol, Abidal, Evra, Cole, Henry, Kaka, Lampard, David Villa, Kompany, Chellini etc was the last generation of talent based and passion oriented football. football has died not only in England but the entire Europe and we have so many players with no passion but just for the weekly wagesThis is indeed the summary of the whole stuff Football has really died truly I remember the era of Ferdinand, vidic, maldini, seedorf, David's, Ronaldinho, nedved, Kaka, Figo, zidane, Henry Ronaldo, Rooney, Messi etc There is no hunger anymore And players are being played astronomical amount of wages Maybe there will be a decline or better stars will emerge, hopefully. |

So sir whoever wants unity nobi beg oooo... Majority of Obi votes is from Igboland and he got overwhelming majority there... Also tell them to accept tinubu as president even as we wait for Court to decide... Then denounce Ipob and her rag tag Army ESN.. and they should stop acting like they're the only Tribe in Nigeria... Nor acting like anyone owe them presidency... And you think all these fight back will solve anything I am an Igbo man. My people can be very very stubborn. They were so stubborn to Buhari and see how he ended up and left the country in economic woes. The President should just overlook a lot of things and carry everyone along as the Father of the Nation Not like Buhari who felt he never gave a damn and eventually left Nigeria in economic woes We all should be calling for peace. Because all these bickering and quareling will affect the Nation and her economy. We have a lot to do, Nigeria is in camatose Recently I was trying to get some editorial and subscribe to Harvard business review online But they said that Nigeria was blacklisted, that it's not available for my country. I was sad that even to gain access to resource like that I was not eligible because I am in Nigeria Honestly if people understand how Nigeria is presently viewed in the committee of Nations They will weep for this country. It's very very sad We have so much work to do. We have an economy that was battered to rectify. All these fighting won't save anyone Lai Lai. |

Agadinaagwuofe: The bolded is ugly truth we Christians are yet to grapple. To be frank, El rufai isn't the worse religious bigot in the country his problem is his big mouth and he is a straight forward talker without fear whose ox is gored that is the reason it seems he is the worst and everyone calling for his head. He even confessed doing those things together with Matawalle but did you hear anything from Matawalle? We christians are in for a big shocker, every politicians play dirty politics but the difference between christian politicians and Muslim politicians is you dare not play politics along his religion but Christians will swallow it like fools even when his faith is trampled like a "marshed cockroach". Like I said if tribunal fails and BAT continues the only recourse for Christians is to wail like jackals in a slaughter house and hope "somehow allah will touch the heart of the invaders" anything aside this is traditional shouting because for the fact BAT won on the platform he will not be so foolish to go against his winning formula, he can only play lip service and continue to maintain his lane. All these men you call Christians are not truly Christians. They just answer it by name. There is nothing representating Christianity in there conduct. Like the fellow you quoted. The church has been messed up by money simple. And when Money is elevated as god, then there is nothing that can be done again. Irrespective of whatever that's going on, I still believe that God is alive and well and He knows how to judge everyone. Even El Rufai will not escape God's judgement and when it comes, people will be shocked The Christian Church needs to wake up and start doing the right thing. Shun money worship, focus on justice, equity, non hypocrisy. When the Christian Church does the right thing, God will definitely fight for them But when they are engrossed in worse evil more than the heathens. Then they are entirely useless Our Lord Jesus Christ said if the salt looses it's usefulness, it's thrown to the ground and trampled underfoot, because it's useless. That is the present condition of today's Church And the decay in the church is not just only Nigeria, but it's global. Although there are still genuine Christians around the globe. |

Amalekki: Maybe, though the starting bar was very low for Obasanjo. He came in on the back of a prolonged military dictatorship when Nigerians were deliberately denied basic things like mobile services and the financial sector was stifled. Nigerians were shocked back then to see citizens of small neighbouring countries using mobile phones while they were limited to highly regulated land lines accessible to very few. Most only had access to public phones with long queues.
So Obasanjo only had to open up the economy and investors did the rest. It is noteworthy that Obasanjo/Atiku's government actually nailed the coffin on our manufacturing sector among others. Their privatization program was poorly implemented. In telecoms, while private investments like MTN and others thrived, Nigeria's NITEL couldn't keep up with the speed of growth.
In my opinion, we have had terribly poor presidents with only rare moments of good tidings. They have all been below par. I disagree Privatisation was the right thing to do. Government has no business running anything Look at nitel, Nigeria airways, our refineries everything run by government is corrupt So Obasanjo did well on that His regime is a million times better than what APC bequeathed us |

A former Senator who represented the Anambra Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Senator Clement Annie Okonkwo (popularly known as Senator Annie Okonkwo), is dead.
Senator Okonkwo died on Wednesday after almost recovering from a brief illness.
His death, which came as a shock to many, occured just few days to the inauguration ceremony of his son, Uchenna Harris Okonkwo, who is the House of Representatives Member-elect for Idemili North and South Federal Constituency, Anambra State.
According to a source, “He was recovering after taking proper treatment in the United States of America but relapsed a few days ago, and died yesterday.”
“Further details and arrangements would be made known to the public after deliberations and meetings are held within the family.”
Senator Okonkwo, who was elected under the platform of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), represented the Anambra Central District in the Sixth Assembly from 2007-2011.
He was also a former governorship aspirants during the 2010 governorship election in the State, but lost to the then incumbent governor, Peter Obi, who was re-elected.
Senator Okonkwo was born in May 23, 1960 in Ojoto, Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State.
He obtained an Advanced Diploma in Marketing, University of Lagos (1994–1995), Advanced Diploma in Commercial Law and Practice, University of Lagos (1995–1997), and Advanced Diploma in Management, Harvard University, USA (1997–1998).
When he ventured into business, he built a conglomerate employing over 7,000 people that includes firms such as Reliance Telecomm, Clemco Industries, Modern Communications (satellite TV Network), MacClemm Marketing Communications, Sunflower Nigeria and Pentagon Oil.
After being elected as a Senator, he was appointed to committees on Upstream Petroleum Resources, Police Affairs, Environment and Agriculture.
He was the Senator who sponsored the bill for the Federal Government to make essential commodities accessible and affordable to Nigerians, as well as a bill to establish the Nigerians Citizens in Diaspora Commission.
Senator Okonkwo just recently celebrated his 63rd birthday in May 23 this year, before his death on Wednesday, June 7.

Or do we have more Anambra indigenes in Fidelity Bank because PO deposited hooge sums there rather than develop the State? Fidelity Bank na Anambra Bank Peter Obi is still the highest share Holder He still nominates the MD of the Bank Like when former MD Nnamdi Okonkwo was nominated It was Peter Obi that picked Him I was aware of the move Peter Obi is still an extremely wealthy man Just that he has always lived a very frugal lifestyle like the British, Due to long stay there also his well practicing Catholicism added to his frugal lifestyle. Even in Anambra he is still one of the richest men there. |

FreeStuffsNG: I pray she finds love, peace again and value it as she has promised.
Most men and ladies in marriages should learn from her regret today.
I read this same regret expressed by Madam Ngozi Nwosu in her interview, same regret in her interview too and like Caroline, she was married to a non-Igbo too. In fact, she used same words and admitted that she should have forgiven her ex husband who came begging and begging her to come back. Looking back, she now believes the issue that made her separate from her husband was not enough for her to end her marriage to a man who truly loves her. She said she would have handled it better with her current experience.
Please fight for your family. You will soon realise that it's all you got. May God help us all. This is a true fact. Many of them after divorce realize that what they had before the love and everything was better than what they get now. They later realize that nothing dey street But most times it ends only in regrets and had I known By the it's already late There men have moved on It's always the case |

hairyman: About 11 years ago I was like your husband. Not necessarily out of a job but I wasn't earning enough to get by myself talk more of taking care of a family the way it should be.
Wifey lives in another state while I live in Lagos and she earned about twice my take home and was actually good to go. But women don't like paying bills. A man can pay 100% of the bills and nobody will hear a word but once a woman pays a percentage, the entire world hears about it.
As for me, by the time I was done with my rent in Lagos, power, tfare to work and tfare to go visit her and back, I was flat broke
I must have appeared to her how your hubby appears to you now.
The difference between myself and your hubby perhaps is that I knew I wasn't doing well and was looking for ways to balance the equation. So I would buy little food stuffs, cook, wash and clean up when I visit. Or I would find someone in that area to do the washing and pay her 700 bucks back in those days.
I tried always to balance the equation.
Wifey wasn't happy about the whole arrangement though.
Here I will digress, young financially unstable men must never assume that a lady loves them enough to bear financial insecurity with a child. She will swear that she will manage. But once a child comes!...forget it man, you will be harassed.
Back to the tale, she wasn't happy and would say nasty things. I had grown up in a happy home and never knew that a wife could say such things to her husband. It was such a sad situation for me. I wasn't a dunce or irresponsible, things just hadn't set yet, I was just a young dude 2 years out of NYSC.
Here again, I will digress. When I want to take any action, I will always ask myself; what's the purpose of this action? What's it's value? What are the potential consequences?
That's because I have a long memory and I assume that people do too. If you kick me when I am down, I will never forget. These are questions that you may care to ask yourself.
Anyone reading this might think that this happened for a long period. No it didn't, it was just for about a year that I tried to get my feet under me. By the time my little boy was past one year, I could pay for his creche, buy nearly all the food stuffs and pay for other stuffs in my second home.
But I never forgot the kicking when I was down. It made it very difficult for me to get over slights from wifey.
Fast forward to today, 11 years afterwards. I have a bit of money to my name. A lot more than a bit perhaps.
Wifey and I are going through a divorce. All the slights I just couldn't bring myself to forget have come to a head and I was just done.
I have seen what it will be like with her if I am down and it is just not a bearable thought.
My sex plug are 2 single mothers like you intend to be...so beware.
It is unlikely that I will remarry presently. I have no desire to create half brother/sister issues for my kids.
So I will ask you, what is the value of kicking your husband when he is down?
There are too many poorly raised people here telling you things you don't need to hear. You can identify them by their choice of words; useless, broke as men, stupid etc they frequently say. They are usually unable to think beyond tomorrow. Maybe a week. They are rarely married and perhaps will not and have scores to settle with men. They want to copy western countries. Unfortunately they usually don't read well enough to find out the consequences; such as the collapse of the family unit in those countries and the recent study stating that by 2030, about half of American women between 25 and 45 may never marry because their men don't want them, and will rather go abroad to look for wives or stay unmarried. Or that marriages are best constructed in the traditional sense and always last longest anywhere in the world, in that structure (they appear to love to talk so much about woke ideologies)
It is sad that you are in this situation. I remember though that back in the day, our mothers plugged up financial holes when our dad's were not on their A game. And guess what, people rarely knew! They even told the kids that the money came from their dads!
Good old days. Before social media, before low quality education that has reduced the average IQ of Nigerians to 71 and rendered them unable to face life's challenges without taking the apparently easy way out.
Your situation is really sad. I know how you must feel. Perhaps you can let it all play out and see how it goes, perhaps you can opt out...But do not kick your hubby now that he is down. It never serves any purpose.
I wish you wisdom. I love your reply Many women think Nigerian men are lazy. But that's a very big lie. Nigeria ain't a normal country, so many men are battling with same thing: economic hardship It's not easy for a man in this country But women should also remember that a man down today can within a click turn around economically And most men don't forget the way you treated them when they were down Which most times ends in divorce So women should bear this in mind I have seen the scenario you painted out playing out in a lot of marriages Presently trying to settle one like that But most times, the men don't forget the bitter treatment they had and they never get back together. This your reply is very factual and filled with wisdom |

With Otti’s background and the calibre of people who form his advisors, it’s gonna be difficult for him to fail.
First, he needs to construct Aba/Port Harcourt Road and give that axis a facelift.
Second, I like that he has declared State of Emergency on waste disposal because Aba needs to be cleaned up.
Then I like the MSME Financing Scheme he has announced because a lot of Aba producers just need funding to produce at larger scale. While others with the requisite skills don’t have funds to start at all.
The next thing is to embark on quality check and branding and you will see Made in Aba products takeover Nigeria and Africa.
Again, he needs to partner with Barth Nnaji’s Geometric Power to give Aba and Abia an almost 24 hours uninterrupted power supply to reduce the cost of production.
See, Abia is delivered and the testimony will start manifesting soonest. I am extremely happy for Abia State, there morning has come after 24 years of darkness What a great relief Entire South East and Nigeria will benefit from Abia State |

SultanOfAbia: Some men are grown up babies with lots of money.
Imagine the level of loose guarding this man committed. Just because of kpekus
I swear I'm in my 20's but I'm way smarter than these 40, 50 year old men.
Age is never a measurement of wisdom. There are many fools who grow old. That doesn't mean they are Wise It have to do with upbringing and lifestyle Many of these foolish 40 and 50 years olds are because of the lifestyle they gave themselves to and never changed there ways So they remain very foolish even in old advanced age |

Ayatullah: Rotimi Amaechi is an arrogant, over ambitious sore loser, if he did not manage his emotion very well, he will be put to shame by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, if care is not taken, Rotimi Amaechi may suffer serious mental issues the way he's going. Forget that thing you typed there Without Amechi APC wouldn't have defeated PDP There is nothing you guys can do Amechi is still protected by the Northerners. They know his sacrifices that endured Buhari came And Northerners are not known as betrayers. They will always protect there own. Wike is easier to dispense that Chibuike Amechi. Amechi should go and enjoy his Money he made as Rivers State governor and Minister of Transport a very lucrative ministry. |

Penguin2: Unfortunately, Soludo thought otherwise.
As a former banker himself, he didn’t feel the need to identify with Otti. Prof Chukwuma Soludo to me is more of an academician than a politician. He should better identify with Alex oti now. Abia will be the next big thing that will happen in Nigeria Alex oti is tried and trusted A financial whizkid All the potential of Abia State will be maximized now Abia is a well known Oil and Gas state Especially in Ukwa East end West area Then when it comes to commerce ABA is a sleeping behemoth, much bigger than even Onitsha All there former governor's were extremely very useless not being able to develop that State with all her potentials |

JOemmy: So sanusi choosed to witness the swearing in ceremony of otti instead of that of tinibu this is really very strange. Alex oti was a former banker Former MD of Diamond Bank So he will draw many on that line Also I believe Abia State has a very huge potential more than any other state in South East, even more than my Anambra State But bad governor's have not harnessed her potential Alex oti will do justice to that |

Steady259: Marry your best friend this, marry your best friend that, as if best friends do not betray each other.
Simply ask for God's guidance and you should equally beware of karma. As a man, you cant frolick with people's daughter and expect to be rewarded with the best and kindest of them. Nature has a way of getting back at you. Exactly All these talks na opata Na God guiding the two partners in the marriage be the Koko
Prayers to God for guidance always is the best approach If you like be the best of friends, human nature can still play a role |
