Good morning guys,

I got a call from a "so called" representative of BOI (Bank of Industry) telling me i'm eligible for one of their vacant roles.

I can't remember sending my CV to BOI because never have i seen their Vacancy ads before but i must admit my CV is with several recruiters so maybe they forwarded it for me. When the person called the first time and asked if i was interested in any of the roles, i declined cos none is an IT position and we ended the call.

This person called again and started explaining the several roles available and i went on to ask what my job description would be for the role i'm eligible for and he said that will be forwarded to my email address as well as the interview date but so far i've not gotten the email yet and this call was since Monday.

Pls can anyone confirm if this is legit or one of those many scam interviews, Thanks.

dnt just conclud fast it's scam. You gave ur CV to different people. Many jobs are not usually advertised and there is something called replacement, replacement is not usually advertised...

South South in Calaba

West in Lagos

North in Abuja

Although Abuja was built by FG, Calaba was built by state government, Eko conference center was built by private, we need ours in the East, states in the east has conference centres including Anambra, this is 10,000 capacity international standard that can host international conferences, big seminar, AMVC, African music award, music concert, indoor games and what have you.

Abia has conference center 9,000 capacity though.

The attention of the Nigerian Bar Association ("NBA") has been drawn to the video making the rounds where the Chairman of the Code of Conduct Tribunal (“CCT”) - Danladi Yakubu Umar Esq., was seen, together with his security detail, allegedly assaulting a citizen at Banex Plaza, in Wuse Abuja. We understand that this citizen turned out to be a 22-year-old employee of Jul Reliable Guards Services Limited, posted as a security guard to the Plaza and who is now reportedly hospitalised. The NBA has also read the statement credited to the Head, Press and Public Relations of the CCT in response to the actions of Mr Umar.

The NBA frowns at any display of naked power by a public officer especially one who, by virtue of his high office, is expected to exhibit a high standard of conduct. The situation is all the more critical when it involves the head of an agency of government set up to ensure compliance, by public officers, with the code of conduct.

Further, as a member of the legal profession, Danladi Yakubu Umar Esq. is expected, by the extant rules that regulate the conduct of legal practitioners in Nigeria, to maintain a high standard of professional conduct, and not to engage in any conduct which is unbecoming of a member of the legal profession. Prima facie evidence available at the moment raise questions regarding whether such standards have been met.

In view of the foregoing, the NBA shall through its relevant Committee, investigate the circumstances leading to the altercation, and depending on its findings, will ensure that appropriate action is taken to address this occurrence.

I also want to add that the name Mercy Chinwo Nnenda isnt strange. For some reason, most Ikwerre people pronounce the name 'Chinwe' as 'Chinwo'. Also, father is 'Nna' in central Igbo but in the Ikwerre dialect it is 'Nda'

There are some small differences between Ikwerre dialect and central Igbo but thats how it is in all of Igbo land

If I were to say say "Mercy Chinwo Nnenda" in central Igbo it would be "Mercy Chinwe Nnenna"
