ON PAST QUESTIONS

The is the first time PTDF Consultant, Flexisaf will be conducting the test so technically there are no past questions; do not b scammed.

However, there are past exam format which can be obtained in the link below:

From the above past question link, only focus on the Part B that relates to your discipline and know the answers. Morever, it could guide u on topics to read on. Do not read Part A of the past question link.

NB: This year exam will be Computer based test in Objective form. Part A is the English Language section which is compulsory. The
second section (Part B) is about the course you are applying for and carries bulk of the marks. READ INSTRUCTION and GUIDELINES before you begin the test. There might be NEGATIVE MARKING.

OTHER MATERIALS

For the Part A, know your basic English, sentence completion and correction, passages and vocabulary ( Synonyms and Antonyms).

For Part B, in addition to the previous info, read your textbook, browse through the internet about your focus area and check the following website and choose your discipline to familiarise yourself by clicking on d option

ON ADMISSION

Do not panic and just focus on your test if u have not got admission. Even if u don't get admission, u can defer the scholarship for a year.

If u want to obtain admission this year, it is achievable within a week or two even in top UK school so far admission deadline has not passed. When u apply and u meet the requirements, e-mail the admission team of d respective schools that u need admission letter for scholarship processing. For USA and most other countries, admission for September 2017 is closed but u can apply for January 2018 admission which is still open.

yes. Not all this half based uk universities like Coventry, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, London Metropolitan University, Portsmouth, Bolton, Chester and many more.

Google Russel group uk universities such as University of Manchester, University of London, University College, London, Imperial College, Cambridge University, Newscastle, Cranfield, University of Oxford, University of Leeds, University of Birmingham and many more

Such school fees are high but fortunately PTDF covers any school fees. Unlike NDDC which has a cap so people go for cheap school fees of d low ranked schools.

Good news everyone. Hope u guys have got admission in top schools as advised before.

ON MSC EXAM

The MSc test will take place July 8, 2017. This is the best overseas scholarship more than most other countries scholarship scheme and common wealth. U will live as a king. Practise the past questions; recent format changed and past once. Focus on d discipline section exam as it carries bulk of the marks.

Moreover, u can get work and other opportunities internationally due to your UK or US degree. U won't b limited to Nigeria alone and this give u access to seek PhD scholarship and work all over d world.

If u plan to go to UK, go to top schools only. If u graduate in some engineering disciplines with good grade, u are eligible for work visa in Australia and Netherland.

Easiest way of becoming a millionaire with just 2 hours of exam. So STUDY, STUDY AND STUDY. There is nothing like luck. I read hard to obtain my MSc Scholarship back then.

ON PHD

No exams for PhD but only interview will be conducted in a later date. Know your research proposal

Don't bother applying to those schools if your first degree is totally unrelated to the listed courses.


Over to the civil engrs.

For Birmingham and Newcastle, those with good degree in Civil Engineering and Geology can apply.

For Plymouth, You will need a good degree in survey, technology or science.

previously lss does exam in designated ptdf institution @ d assigned respective schools but last year everyone did same exam.

In fact, some people who chose OSS but narrowly missed out were considered for LSS. Some applicants were considered for Brasil after missing out on dere former preference.

But things could change dis year as it is different consultant. Just read and follow any instruction given 2 u and give your best.

German schools are not bad and they have good reputation in engineering courses. However, these are still speculations and ptdf will eventually sponsor scholars to their chosen schools

I hope so but d current situation in-house says otherwise. I hope it gets resolved soon though

It was not particularly stated for country. Though some countries were attached to some courses. Like Germany was attached to Thermal Power, Australia was attached to Renewable Energy Engineering, Brazil was attached to Petroleum Engineering. These courses can still be done in other countries.
