I feel you - I have thought about the same thing, I only held back my fingers up until now.

As far as I can remember, there was no place to specify School/Country in the application forms save course of choice. So if someone now blasts the test and comes first in his/her state with his/her printed on the national dailies, would PTDF now deny him/her because he/she has Harvard admission and not a school in Germany or Brazil? Or will PTDF now push the person to free tuition schools when it clearly put Harvard as approved school on their website?

there was for country. The publication came when things was still alright. Things change. If everything were to b ok with no financial hitches, u could have done your exams long ago.

Prepare for worst. But give your best. Even though we hope for d best, we should be realistic for once and do not let sentiments get d better of us. Accept reality.

The four (4) Participating institutions are:

1. Pan African University Institute for Basic
Sciences, Technology and Innovation
(PAUSTI) at Jomo Kenyatta University of
Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), Juja,
Kenya.

2. Pan African University Institute for Life and
Earth Sciences including Health and
Agriculture (PAULESI) at the University of
Ibadan (UI), Ibadan, Nigeria.

3. Pan African University Institute for
Governance, Humanities and Social
Sciences (PAUGHSS) at the University of
Yaounde II, Soa, Cameroon.

4. Pan African University Institute for Water
and Energy Sciences (including climate
change) (PAUWES) at the University of

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

Deadline: May 31st, 2017.

Beneficiaries will receive a monthly stipend to cover their living expenses for the entire duration of their study, including tuition, research and transport fees. Students are awarded joint degrees.

PHD ADMISSION CRITERIA

A Masters degree in a relevant field from PAU or any internationally recognized university;

Certified copies of relevant certificates, transcripts, national I.D. card and passport personal details page;

A 3 to 4 page research concept note (tentaive title, research questions, objectives, significance of the research etc…)

Recommendation letters from 2 Professors
Clear colored passport size photograph (2cmx2cm);

Maximum age of 35 years for male and 40 years for female applicants.

ADMISSION CRITERIA FOR MASTERS

Undergraduate degree from a recognized university,with at least a second class upper division or its equivalent, in a relevant field;

Certified copies of relevant certificates, transcripts (from university and high school), national I.D. card and passport personal details page;

Recommendation letters from 2 Professors

Clear colored passport size photograph(2cmx2cm);

Maximum age of 30 years for male and 35 years for female applicants.

*Candidates may be required to undergo a written/oral examination after pre- selection.

*Candidates for the Master in Conference Interpreting and Translation programmes are required to have excellent knowledge of at least two of the African Union’s official languages (Arabic, English, French and Portuguese).

It is different from ptdf aptitude test merit list. U all should just prepare for your test and try Germany and Brasil schools which PTDF suggested as it is free tuition and other free tuition schools abroad.

There is no money as before in d oil and gas with only few vacancies. People are getting sacked everyday. The Ptdf budget allowance have not yet been approved which is causing delay. Even oil and companies in UK who pay about one-third or half of international students school fees for UK students are no longer sponsoring as before.
Most oil and gas departmental prospective students have dwindled.

It seems many people will b pushed 2 local university and d suggested foreign schools which PTDF has partnered with due 2 low finance.

Only d best might b granted 2 UK, US etc

There will still be overseas scholarship but
dose who chose free tuition in brasil and Germany, or has free tuition or low tuition has higher chance of studying overseas.

e. Possess a valid International passport
f. Provide identification document from their LGA
g. Be Nigerian nationals resident in Nigeria
h. Have not less than 8.0 in IELTS
i. Be able to obtain UK Tier-4 students visa
j. Provide evidence that they are available to travel in September 2017 if selected
k. Not a direct relative to staff of Nigeria LNG Limited
