Read a Biafran story by Frederick Foresight. He said almost similar things about Igbos
omonnakoda:
Re: Disclaimer: Unauthorized Use of the Name, Image and Likeness of late Emeritus Prof. Tekena N. Tamuno

To Whom It May Concern:

It has come to the attention of the family of the late Emeritus Prof. Tekena N. Tamuno (1932-2015) that an article titled “IGBO ARE THE MAKERS OF MODERN NIGERIA-PROF TEKENA TAMUNO” posted on a website info@theawarenessngr.com (Opinions section) is improperly using the name and image of our dear dad, the late Emeritus Prof. Tekena N. Tamuno. The article is circulating on social media. The faceless and nameless author of the article uses the name of our late dad at the beginning and end of the Article. A cursory review of the post may lead a reader to believe that it was written by the late Emeritus Professor Tekena. N. Tamuno. Buried in the article is a statement ascribed to our dad, without a full and verifiable citation or context, which we are unable to accept, contextualize or refute, partially or fully.

The undersigned on behalf of the Tekena N. Tamuno family hereby unequivocally states that the afore-mentioned write-up posted on the above-mentioned website and circulating on social media was not written by the late Emeritus Prof. Tekena N. Tamuno nor was it approved by his family. Attaching our dad’s photograph and name to the title and at the end of the article as if he was the author of the article is impermissible. The family of the late Emeritus Prof. Tekena N. Tamuno strongly object to such unauthorized use of the name and likeness of the late patriarch of the family and submit this disclaimer to that end.

The late Emeritus Prof. Tekena N. Tamuno, of blessed memory, was apolitical, non-sectional and non-partisan and his scholarly writings reflect that. Inasmuch as everyone has a right to free speech/freedom of expression, the family of the late Emeritus Prof. Tekena N. Tamuno family is saddened that a nameless and faceless person would use the likeness and name of our dad to push the author’s narrative and such conduct is strongly denounced by the family. The family hereby cautions the general public to cross check facts that may circulate on the internet ascribed to a well known, indeed to any, personality, to verify the authenticity of the alleged facts or statements. The family of the late Emeritus Prof. Tekena N. Tamuno request that info@theawarenessngr.com immediately remove our dad's name and picture from the unauthorized publication and provide full verifiable citation of any quote attributed to our dad.

This serves to put info@theawarenessngr.com and the world on notice that future attempts to publish and disseminate information that misleads as to authorship under the name and likeness of the late Emeritus Prof. Tekena N. Tamuno will be vigorously challenged to the fullest extent of applicable laws. The family of the late Emeritus Prof. Tekena N. Tamuno reserves all its rights.
Sincerely,

Ene Tamuno, Esq.

I'm not here to argue with you. Do your own research.
mekaboy:
Is UK depending on EU to survive now? Even during the transition period, they have enough to take care of every british citizen, even foreigners that migrate.

Has igboland been able to take care of igbos in igboland, talk more of those who will return?

Did UK wait to leave EU before having power, roads, factories, tourism, production, employment, etc?
Politics › Re: Lets discuss this KANU'S BIAFRA by DMerciful(m): 5:15pm On Jun 08, 2021
How long did it take the UK to leave EU? Political process takes time. Once agreement to secede has been reached next is to negotiate assets and liabilities, relocations etc...these processes takes upto 3yrs or more
mekaboy:
We wake up tomorrow and federal government says igbos should leave Nigeria and become Biafra.

Igbos in federal civil service have till 31st of july to resign.

No pension or gratuity to be paid.

A new law and taxes will be imposed on all igbo owned businesses and properties outside igboland. Igbos will now have to pay taxes as foreign investors in Nigeria.

Those employed in police army and every other security agency, have to leave by 31st july.

Igbo graduates from Nigerian universities will not be able to serve in Nigeria.

All goods and transport services( air, road, sea) coming to and from igboland will have to pay taxes in each Nigerian state. When know the people of Niger delta will refuse to be part of Biafra.

So goods coming from lagos will pay taxes in all the states, even to delta state.

By the time these items arrive, how much will they be sold?

No more allocation from federal government.

No more usage of Nigerian Naira in igboland .

All Nigerian owned banks have to close branches in to igboland.

Telecoms have till 31st to shut down operations in the east.

Electricity distributors in igboland have to be disconnected from the national grid.

DSTV and all televison stations licenced in Nigeria have to stop operations in igboland.

All police, army and security agencies have to withdraw from igboland.

NOW WE HAVE OUR COUNTRY BIAFRA. HERE ARE SOME QUESTIONS.

What happens to Electricity? The lights are off, how will businesses function?

What about food? By the time a truck of food comes from the north and pays all the taxes from the road, how much will a tubber of yam cost?

Security? No police, army, or security agency in igboland.

Business? No Electricity to power business and they collapse.

Accommodation? Igbos who will leave civil service, police, army, navy etc will have to return to igboland.

Employment? Those who have been dismissed from service will become unemployed. Remember, by nigerian laws, companies in nigeria have to employ at least 60% Nigerians. This means, most Igbos will loose their jobs in companies. As they will be counted as foreigners.

Education? Igbos will be charged school fees as international students. Many parents who have lost their jobs won't be able to afford this.

You see why the fraudster in UK is forcing Niger delta into Biafra?

This is why I tell my fellow Igbo's to forget the fraudster and his fake Biafran agitation.

Use this energy and funds you send to the fraudster to develope igboland. Catalonia was already developed before they wanted to leave. UK was already self sufficient before asking to leave EU.

The motor park touts and criminals following kanu will tell you that when Biafra comes all these things will be taken care of.

So the world will be waiting for you to become recognised, form a currency backed by nothing. Then trade with it at what value?

These same touts and criminals will be the ones roaming the streets of igboland, looting properties, kiling people, raping women in the failed country.

Kanu knows all this, but his main focus is in the donations coming from the agitation.

Those Igbo's sending money for igbos to be killed, why not send the same money for factories and schools to be built to provide free education and employment for igbo youths?

You send money to kanu and he pockets it, sends peanuts to buy tramadol and drugs for his ESN/UGM that are end up dead.

Who is this Niger Delta tribe you talk of?

I was born in Warri and I remember 1998, ijaws, Urhobo and itsekiri almost war themselves to extinction. So which particular tribe do you speak for?
Afriifa:
The Oils in Abia and Imo are collected by who? You guys always creating non-existence rivalry all to do what? For you to raise emphasis on an Ijaw man being an SUG president in Igbo dominated school alone calls for attention regarding the tribalistic nature of the average Igbo. How do you mix student (academic) politics with ethnicity? In Benue State University here Igbo man has won the SUG seat. In Unilag, an Ijaw man Sowore won the SUG seat. In Uniben an Ijaw man, Dr Chris Ekiyor won the SUG seat. These are even the few ones I can vividly recall for now. But Boro even had to step on toes and fought many pro igbos to emerge SUG president and you folks are here rasing alarm over something he won meritoriously. It shows you guys are never liberal. The concentration of Niger Deltans in Lagos alone is more than the entire south-east. Who is liberal? How many Niger Deltans have bought lands and established their homes in south-east? You think we are fools!
Politics › Re: Niger delta militants fought fiercely for release of Kanu from jail by DMerciful(m): 3:02pm On Jun 04, 2021
Just so we're clear, which ethnic group are you speaking for? Because SS is over 50 ethnic groups who do not necessarily like each other but their minority status makes them think they're one.

Nobody said they are all Igbos. Stop being mischievous. Referendum to join Biafra is not a referendum to confirm their Igboness, Biafra is not even an Igbo name
Coldshisha:
A simple referendum would decide if Isoko, Urhobo, Anioma, Istekiri , Bini, Efik , Ibibio, Ogoja, Kalabari are all Ibos

Corruption is a word we throw carelessly. Even nepotism is corruption. Benefitting from a system without wanting to contribute is corruption.

It's just a matter of time before Nigeria restructure or breakup so if you're not making plans thinking this status quo would continue then you might realise when it's too late

There's nothing like SE in the constitution. SE has never been in any constitution since the creation of Nigeria. Someone from SE answered you but you insisted that states can only be created when there's cry for marginalisation. I'm not from 'SE' as it were, but the restructuring is the entire country. The police, the army harrassing people are not people from you state or region....the INEC that rigs election to install someone the people voted against is national and not region specific, power supply, Interstate roads are national so saying each region should be restructured locally is myopic
Coldie:
Becareful what u wish for, I grew up in the south south port Harcourt to be precise and I can say it anywhere southsouth people want resource control, am not hiding my mouth any southsouth person reading this counter my claim, am saying this with my full chest.

I have said it, ok you tell me what the south east wants to restructure.
Politics › Re: Exposed!!! Why Fulanis See Igbos As Their Worst Enemy by DMerciful(m): 3:36pm On Jun 03, 2021
Go and ask Pa Adebanjo or Sunday Igboho if the ports is what they're fighting for. Go and ask Asari Dokubo if it's only resource control he is fight for.

Why will our kids be excluded for positions they're more qualified because of quota system? Why will Fulani get away with crimes while others are dealt with for far less?
Coldie:
South south can confidently tell u they want resource control as restructuring they don't beat around the bush and start giving you excuses shifting from pillar to post.

Southwest can confidently tell you they want full control of their ports and for lagos to be given special status.

I ask u what in particular u want to restructure in south east Nigeria till today nobody has answered this question
Politics › Re: Exposed!!! Why Fulanis See Igbos As Their Worst Enemy by DMerciful(m): 3:23pm On Jun 03, 2021
You always ask this foolish question! You don't restructure land, you restructure the system, the constitution, the police, resource allocation, what's in the exclusive list, the electoral system. We should go back to the constitution we agreed at independence because that was the basis for agreeing to stay in one country
Coldie:
Tell me what you want the FG to restructure in igbo land
