Foreign Affairs › Re: Fact-checking Trump’s Address On The Iran Missile Attacks by dochenaj: 4:26pm On Jan 09, 2020
Trump is going to use this US - Iran crisis to ride to victory in the upcoming general elections.

It is all beginning to look like a scripted plot by the Republicans to take attention off the impeachment.

And interestingly it is working.

Welcome to Politics 101.

It is not enough to take responsibility without taking action.

I skimmed through the story and something doesn't add up.

If I'm wrong, then watching a lot of detective shows is the culprit here.

. If possible for 95% of citizens can relocate to Togo it would have been nice so that our bastard and evils leaders will now rule themselves. One thing that I pray for is that any leader that make Nigeria to be like this will never go unpunished. Bastard and nuisance leaders.
The so called rulers are also Nigerians. Nigeria's problem is the people not just the rulers. Actually the rulers constitute a tiny percentage of Nigeria's problem.

So if we all migrated to Togo, it will become an annex of Nigeria.

This is shouldn't be classified as manslaughter if the person died. It would however be murder. I could see the pics show the doctor stitching up the wound.

And the article has paucity of information.

The first time I had about this cabal was when Professor Nebo was Minister of Power.

It's unfortunate that they have continued holding Nigeria in the balls.

This country can only be salvaged by radical and unconventional methods.

If at any time he tried to use the phone number for fraud then his arrest and detention is in order. I don't believe the DSS will just swoop on him like that. The sim card was involved in something dubious.
Why are you making such assumptions?

Because you hold unto the philosophy that DSS can do no wrong, right?

Did you also realize, he was not charged to court after being held for 15 weeks, contrary to your assumption.
Family › Re: Nigerian Man Narrates How He And His Newly Married Younger Sister Fought by dochenaj: 6:01pm On Jan 06, 2020
I don't understand how the guy could command another adult to wash his clothes irrespective of the relationship even if she were a younger sister (her marital status aside) or a wife.

You probably are not good at doing laundry, I get that. Hence you should implore on the other person and come to an agreement.

If the sister had agreed to wash the clothes initially and changed her mind without informing him, then I see her wrong. But she didn't even answer him and he assumed that was a "yes".

He's crying because he was disrespected, but "respect is reciprocal" they say, and that's the golden truth. He didn't respect her as an adult (probably older than 21) and hence doesn't deserve to get the respect of an elder brother.

Why is it peppering Nancy Pelosi that Trump killed a Terrorist who was responsible for the death of Americans such as Ambassador Stephens? Sometimes these Democrats act as though they are on the side of Terrorists rather than USA
What is "peppering" her is that Trump actions could provoke a more drastic response that could escalate in war, a war which US would definitely win but not without paying the price of loss of lives of a number of it's servicemen.
Education › Re: Please I Need Help In Solving This Quantitative Reasoning For Primary 6 by dochenaj: 10:44am On Jan 06, 2020
When they give a primary 6 student homework, the mother cannot solve.

I remember one teacher who will tell his girl students, that if there was no other reason to be serious when maths is taught, the ability to help your children on their homework should be enough motivation. And it worked.

Saying that Iraqi forces will hit only American military targets seems plausible, but how consequential will this be? Will Americans fold their hands and not hit (ever harder) back?

At the end of the day, military and civilian casualties will be many.

Solution: Iraq should accept what has happened. No need to hit back. Vegeance belongs to God.
It is Iran not Iraq.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Liverpool Vs Everton: FA Cup (1 - 0) On 5th January 2020 by dochenaj: 7:18pm On Jan 05, 2020
"C’mon, Everton! Get a late goal. A replay would annoy Liverpool more than losing!" Davey Mannses

Reading people's comments on BBC commentary, you come across funny comments like this.

But it is true. Liverpool would rather prefer a loss than a replay.

Thank God we won though, but how far can we go in the FA cup with this youth team? I bet you, if Klopp gets Manchester City in the next draw, they would use this same team.

I was also thinking along those lines. without holding beef for the ex-senator, why not investigate first before arrests.
if a person like Sani can be lockup like this before proper investigation what about a regular guy on the street? What if some that dnt like run to the EFCC and report you, so they will just lock you up before investigating. Nigerians are really trying.
If that is the case. I can as well go and report Buhari to EFCC for extorting me of $1 million and once he finishes his term in office, EFCC will arrest him, hold him for 1 week and administer a lie detector on him to show if he's innocent.

EFCC is a joke.
Politics › Re: Shehu Sani Vs Dauda: EFCC Mulls Lie Detector Test To Determine Liar by dochenaj: 2:36pm On Jan 05, 2020
A lie detector result is inadmissible in the court.

$24,000 is not #24,000. A simple way to validate Dauda's claim will be showing the money trail.

Was the payment in cash? Can Dauda show any transaction details of either transferring the said amount to Sani or any of his associates? Or can he show any details of withdrawing the said amount with verified bank details to show withdrawal at the said time?

If any of the above cannot be shown, it is therefore nothing but a case of "my word against yours" and such cases mostly lack merit to convict the guilty party.

However what the truth is, Dauda has clearly confessed to being corrupt for paying a bribe to induce Magu to avoid prosecution by EFCC. Now someone with such smear, has shown his word cannot be trusted.

No one wants war, if it happens then its btw the 2 of them...
You know that cannot be true. A war between the US and Iran would involve the whole of the Middle East, and nations would be forced to take sides.

I doubt Iran has the capacity to attack US directly. So it will very likely attack US allies close by, and Israel is number one on that list.

Anyway, Iran had better be ready before they embark on a journey of no return.
Politics › Re: Shehu Sani: EFCC Gets Order To Detain Former Senator For 14 Days by dochenaj: 3:25pm On Jan 03, 2020
Shehu Sani is in for some rough ride.

How does holding him affect the investigation?

Our justice system is corrupted, because the judges are corrupt and most of them have skeletons in their closet and the FG is privy to that hence the blackmailing. Cos I don't understand how a sensible judge could order someone to be held, for investigations to be carried out implying that EFCC didn't have enough evidence before making the arrest.

Both the judge that issued the arrest warrant and the one that gave this stupid hold order need to be investigated. Oh! I forgot the NJC can't do nada.

If it is court order to suspend Onnoghen it will be executed at the speed of light even on a Saturday but court order to grant bail would be appealed to the supreme court.

It's okay. Keep doing what you're doing.

This is so sad. That they can't even establish the killers.. Cos I think that there won't be any agitation if it werent that they caught innocent people
If they are innocent, that's exactly what the courts are there for.

Any sensible civil society would rather give the police an ultimatum to charge them to court if they have sufficient evidence or release them if they don't.

Both are condemnable.
Nudity should be condemned, as it is a violation of the other person's eyes. But never can rape and nudity be at the same level. Never.

So much protection for the ladies but none for guys. The guy might be joking but twitter suspended his account. If a girl should tweet that nothing will happen to her account. This has to stop! Rubbish angry
Rape is a global crime, while nudity is not. That's the difference.

He shot himself on the foot by using the word "rape".

However I am yet to understand the psychology of rape, sex should be about giving the other person pleasure. If that is missing, what good is there. Masturbation can also give you an orgasm.

The question now is, how much compensation is enough compensation?

Nice one

Nice one.

But production of electricity shouldn’t be the problem here.

Transmission and distribution is the problem.
Efficient distribution has always been the problem they refuse to address.

If that could be solved, we will now have a clear picture of how many MW it will take to light up all of Nigeria with steady power.
