mrvitalis:
For the record there no record this church is 100,000 capacity, infact if you look at that building it can't take more than 40,000 people

Are you trying to say this is 3 times akwa ibom stadium ...plus calabar stadium as jara?

Don't tell me people sit on the floor and they don't sit on the floor of the stadium, let's say the the ground is 2.5 times the size of a football pitch... That's around 25,000 square meters at best, the maximum this can sit with chairs is not up to 30,000 people, the gallery can't sit 10,000 people that I can say for sure... OK let's that it 15,000 around size of calabar stadium into one and half

Come on, church goers are dumb we know!!!! Don't bring your brain washing to the public
While it might seem difficult to believe, it appears to be possible.

From what i can see, the pitch can can take approximately 60k ppl. If you look at the pictures in the link below, you will notice that the sitting arrangement is partitioned into what appears to be between 300 and 500 per partition. Then the gallery.

https://www.nairaland.com/4864608/glory-dome-new-dunamis-100000

Looking at it from the drone view, how many partitions do you think they have there.

Not confirming anything though, but may just be possible.

Are you not an African? Do something about it.

If every Nigerian took their jobs as seriously as the Pastors take their own job, we won't be in the mess we are in as a country.

Don't blame the church for Africa's backwardness. I tell you, if the churches were not here, we would have been in a lot more mess.

I don't remember discussing with you employment figures.

Were jobs lost based when Atiku sold off NITEL and others and did he pay their pensions or not? Yes or No?

Counter what I said and not what I did not say.

Is there a criminal case and FBI affidavit against Atiku in the USA? Yes or no?
The sale if Nitel caused job losses for many Nitel staff. But it and the sale of other government run companies showed government's interest in having a private sector driven economy. This gave rise to massive investments by foriegn companies in the telecom sector and thereby creating a real telecom industry which has created millions of jobs ( and many of the defunct nitel staff were reemployed) as well as entrepreneurs.

If Atiku has a case with the FBI, they should lock him up when he gets to America. Until then, its just an allegation.

If Nitel staff were not paid there pensions, they should be in court as we speak. And in dye course, they'll get their entitlements.
Politics › Re: US Consulate Replies FG Says Atiku’s American Visa Status Is Confidential by dokie: 8:28pm On Nov 30, 2018
idealogical:
This is according to FBI agents and affidavit.

The deal was to let the American company establish a high-speed internet company using Nigerian telecom company Nitel's lines. Atiku eventually sold Nitel to another company, possibly to himself and cronies for $900 million, but didn't bother to pay the sacked Nigerians and their pensions, the PDP governments after did not bother to pay them either, but luckily for the same Nigerians, PMB paid every kobo owed.

Selling Nitel was a deception, the main target was Nitel's real estate assets all over Nigeria from the Nitel building itself to office buildings, guest houses in Ikoyi, VI , 500 real estate component scattered all over the country with a value running into billions of naira including NITEL's buildings such as staff quarters, schools, clinics and so on.

Atiku destroyed and eliminated thousands of jobs while enriching himself, they did not bother to pay their pensions, but he's posing to gulling Nigerians with amnesia as a job creator when in fact he's crook and job destroyer.
Give us the figures of unemployment pre 99 and 2007.

I am saying this because i got a good job in 2017 as well as over 90% of my course mates in school.

So on what basis are you saying that jobs were lost then?

Provide the stats or shut that orifice you call a mouth.

But with deep reflection about this,is this not a proof that the dullard buhari is never truly in control neither is he really respected!,if Nigerians don't vote out Apc/buhari in 2019,then we are fools.
Look believe it or not most Nigerians are fools. Illiterates and literates alike.

There are many of such fools on nairaland even among the mods, jumping from one thread to the other saying buhari is Nigeria's messiah.

I have said it earlier that buhari winning in 2023 will be a witness to the fact that we are a nation not destined to make progress.

At all at all, APC will implode before election. Buhari will just follow up to fulfill righteousness. Power has left APC.
Some South westerners are ready to shed their blood to see to it that buhari is reelected, all in a bid to have power in 2023. Yet those ones are the ones who call others tribalists.

Imagine a respected elite like Fashola telling people to vote buhari for the sole purpose of having power return to SW.

Its a shame.

Here is the moment angry Governor Abdulaziz Yari of Zamfara state sounded a serious warning to Adams Oshiomhole, the APC national Chairman.

Yari says: "I'm saying that the committee sent by Oshiomhole to come and do their dirty job should never dare come to Zamfara state. And we are ready, including myself to be taken to the grave yard tomorrow. If he knows that his mother and father born him, he should send those people to see and it's fight to finish."

Governor is angry!
These are the idiots and touts telling Nigerians they they will take them to the next level, and some lunatics believe them.

In the 19 years of PDP existence, we have not seen such in house war.

Imaging a sitting governor threatening to kill his party chairman and his committee, and the party has a leader in the person of that sitting president, yet nothing will happen.

Any Nigerian voting for this party to be in charge of this nation, is an unfortunate being.

Even if you don't like PDP or atiku, vote someone else.

As far as I am concerned voting buhari for another for years is like treason.

You made sense.
You see people like the unfortunate individual who created this thread are unable to decipher that we have a serious problem as a country. He is still caught up in the battle of which tribe is better than the other and who leads in different indices.

We are talking about a country where a greater percentage of it's citizens are destitute. Where many across the nation are dying because they can't afford N5000 hospital bills, young boys are killing there mates for money, youths in their 10s of millions are either unemployed or grossly underemployed and the list of woes go on while the leaders controlling the so called IGR and FAAC are carting away the money for themselves and children.

The dense OP does not know what awaits him when he leaves home today, if he will have an accident because of badly maintained roads in Ogun State or be a victim of armed robbers , kidnappers or ritualists that have taken that route due to hardship in the land or looking for sacrifices for the forth coming elections, or be on the receiving end of a trigger happy SARs officer.

Those are not his considerations. He is more concerned that he is Yoruba and they are doing better than igbos. That's all. as if it is a match between Chelsea and Manchester United.

There is no need for all this comparisons. Its too childish abeg.

You getting into this comparison would make you look as stupid as the man who created the thread. Just forget it.

Facts don't lie. The stats are there. Ogun does make more money than all the 5 eastern States.

But what about it? The life of an average Nigerian, be you from Ogun, Kano, Lagos, Enugu or Rivers is the same - A Mess. So of what benefit is the IGR to the people?

@OP if you had a less messed up life than the average Nigerian, you would not have had the mentality to create such a useless thread.

You just took those words outta my mouth.

Of course tinubu legally steals over 10% of that amount to keep his political machinery functioning. And the governor knowing this, will certainly help himself very significantly to that tune or more.

Beyond this, what has been declared is significantly less than the actual figures.

If the guys in power in Lagos are kind enough to steal only 10% of the actual amount being generated, Lagos should be in a much more developed state than it is.

Even if at the end of the day, the head should take the blame, I must say that your submission is very correct and valid. Because of some cheap political gains, people jump the hierarchies to heap the blame on the president who may not be aware of the minute-to-minute events at the fronts.

We have a sad situation in the country today. In the face of all these killings, there's an APC-PDP war going on. When one thing happens, the opposition uses it to score points (as the APC did in the last administration). They no longer care to pretend they have the interest of the populace at heart. It's all for their greedy gains and guess what? An average Nigerian youth who should be bothered about his future has allowed himself to be used as a tool in this shameful act.

I'm still patiently waiting for the time our senses would be restored.

I don't know how many core easterners have commented thus far. But note this: even if all the S.E governors come out and openly declare support for Buhari, they will only help to increase his vote in that region to max 20%.

Illiteracy in the east is not too high, as well as sheepish followership. So all of you hoping that buhari will get anything from the SE, you are on a long thing. SE/ SS is on lockdown.

Having said that, the battle for Atiku should be focused in the north, thats the region that will make the winner.
