He dared to challenge status quo. And the average corrupt Nigerian cannot understand it, so they condemn him.

Fr Obimma never said mbaka is fake, at least I can't see where he said Mbaka is fake.

On the criticism, he has a right to criticize. If Mbaka indeed said all those things about the biafra struggle and Nnamdi kanu, then he deserves to be criticized by every well meaning igboman. Not because I support secession, but because I know that the countries political structure needs a change, even if it means secession. We just can't go on like this as a people.

captleonerd:
most of our youths like this guy I quoted are just too docile and unintelligent. they don't even known their true enemy so they don't know who to attack.

a few months ago the legislature

- slashed the budget for Lagos-ibadan expressway from 16b to 6billion. moved a whooping 10b to purchase of grinding machines and boreholes as constituency projects that they will never execute.

- removed a whooping 5b naira from the FG's counterpart fund for the second Naija bridge and moved it to grinding machines and boreholes (sic)

- slashed the budget for another road (can't remember the name) connecting four states in the North and moved the funds to constituency projects that won't be executed.

Fashola screamed out and we know the people that told him to shut up and take the blame.

thus country will be free the moment the youths recognise their true enemy and stop chasing shadows

let me mention their monikers

kingsolex, three, elriyaz, zombietamer, josephobaro, paiz, juman, ibifizzleboy, murphyibiam15, totorimi, rexlims

over 11 comments and none of them is sensible enough to blame the legislature for removing money from roads to buy billions of naira worth of grinding machines.

una mumu never do
From your statement, you believe you are more intelligent than most youths in Nigeria, right? Yet it doesn't strike you that a man of integrity resigns rather than give excuses.

Chris Kolade resigned his appointment as the head of SureP when he realized he wasn't going to be given the free hand to run the program. That's what men of integrity do. Most foreign technical advisers we have had for the super eagles threaten or eventually resign as a result of interference with their jobs by the NFF. That's what men of integrity do. Festus Odumegwu resigned his appointment when he realized that the government was not going to give him a free hand to conduct the census. That's what performers do.

No true performer would allow you tarnish the name he has made for himself over the years, a true man of integrity values that name more than any position you want to offer himor that he is occupying.

Fashola has failed in power, has failed in works and does not even exist in housing and you are here blaming the Legislature? Since they are hindering his performance,He should resign and tell Nigerians that he can't cope. Then he will keep the supposed goodwill that he has. But no he won't.

The name he made in Lagos, he has lost in abuja (making it obvious that there was really no big deal in what he did in Lagos - Ambode is doing same if not better) and he doesn't think it's time to leave yet until he starts getting insulted. And here you are saying the youths are docile and unintelligent, insulting those quoting and criticizing your lousy, shallow and sentiment laden comment.

Your mumu level is raised to the power of infinity. You need devine help to be redeemable.

You and Okorocha are one and the same. The only reason you did not complete you 8year tenure was because you ordered your men to beat up a Catholic priest. You have no moral standing to reprimand Okorocha.

instead of asking for Rochas resignation, which will not favor you because power will still remain in APC, You are talking about needles and bubbles and where to burst what, all aimed at 2019.

Every responsible Nigerian must join this call for the immediate resignation of Rochas Okorocha for the death of those young people on Saturday.

There is a limit to sentiments. Those innocent people and their suffering families deserve the support of all well meaning Nigerians to get justice.

How can you kill young children of The State you govern and still be allowed to govern that state, what is he governing? Because of beautification? It means the life of every Imo citizen can be sacrificed for Rochas to have his way.

How many people were killed when fashola was demolishing Oshodi or other demolitions he carried out in Lagos? None.

Where are the leaders of the people? Where are the Church leaders? Where are the human right activists? Where are the Soyinkas, Bakares, Agbakobas, Mbakas, Adeboyes, oyedepos of this world?

How can they all see this evil and keep quiet?

Rochas should not be allowed to get away with this.

Ask this?

Did Jesus ever pray for the Dead? When? Where? and Why?

Only When he was to resurrect someone did he pray for them.

Solomon even said in Ecclesiastics the dead know Nothing!

Actually Praying for the Dead started with Catholics and was a means to generate funds through Penances and Indulgences back in the ages (Sorry to all Catholics here for mentioning your faith.) But that's the origin of praying for the dead!

Live to the best and fullest for once you die, It's all over!

Except you lived the good life on earth as Christ taught. Stay Blessed and free from the dear of Death!

Christianity Etc › Re: Why Is Sex Attached To Sin By Most Religion? by dokie: 3:59pm On Jul 30, 2017
I am not aware of any religion where heterosexual intercourse in itself is a sin. It is only a sin when it is done outside the marriage covenant.

Essentially, sex is linked with strong emotions and procreation . That's why a woman can hardly forget the guy who disvirgined her.

These emotional attachments that arise from the sexual embrace is best protected in marriage. Outside of marriage there is little or no protection and that's why we hear of heartbreaks which leads to hate, and hate to a diversity of problems in the society including murder.

Procreating outside marriage in itself leads to the rearing if dysfunctional children who have grown up outside the care of a loving family of father and mother and siblings. This loss in most cases have long term effects on these children who grow to become adults and a problem in society (There are some kids who are able to rise above the effects of not growing up in a conventional family and have become assets to society but they are very rare).

More sexual activities with diverse people reduces the the emotional bond that sex creates. This emotional bond is necessary to foster commitment which is very important for strong families.

Now strong families are a critical success factor for a functional society.

So sexual intercourse outside marriage is sinful because it has a direct negative impact on family, and consequently a negative impact on society.

I love fayose and lere for their strong voice in opposition. However, it's better to be silent than to appear stupid. Leres analysis was just silly.

Look deeply and you would see the analysis is flawed.

If all others were still wearing the sameclothes why would that of Oyegun appearing different be a challenge? In any case, it's not a different attire, he only put on a Trench coat over what he was wearing before. The blue shirt not being obvious at the breakfast table might have to do with the camera.

Looking at the mirror closely, it's a perfect reflection.

Let's face it, how many of us are willing to suffer imprisonment for our convictions not to talk of dying? This guy has all it takes to live a very comfortable life within and outside the shores of Nigeria, yet he has put all of it at stake, including his life and by extension the happiness and comfort of his wife and kids.

I respect Nnamdi kanu immensely bcoz he is doing what almost all Nigerians, including you and I ranting and calling him names on social media, as well as our fraudulent, selfish and irresponsible leaders cannot do - fighting for a cause he believes will better the lives of some People.

R. I.P to the dead.

Some people appear to be blaming God, that's not right. If you live in a battle field and you are not battle ready, don't blame God if you are killed

Nigeria is a battle field, and that's why these kind of things hardly happen to those who spend money on security and protection.

The truth is that every man In Nigeria especially those who have families should start considering having guns.

If one would be killed by hoodlums it shouldn't be those with cutlass , daggers and machetes.

If the man had a double barrel of some sort, I am sure he would have put up a fight and this tragedy most likely averted.

If you have the money, get armed. It is definitely not against the Christian faith.

If person go die for thief hand, make e be solid thief.

How long will he sleep inside Ekiti govt house abi him be Julian Assange wey dey cooped up inside embassy because of fear of arrest ?

How come this govt hasn't been able to arrest any killer herdsman ?

How come this govt has only been able to arrest victims of herdsmen attacks who decided to defend themselves ?

How come this govt has been able to arrest cattle rustlers who stole "thousands" of cows but never herdsmen who wipe out communities even under military curfews ?

Its this imabalance in justice that has emboldened people like Suleiman to call out for self defence/preservation since its obvious the murderous herdsmen will always have their way no matter the grievous crimes they commit.

The FG is at fault on this but right now they have to dialogue through CAN and ask Suleiman to retract his order. The FG should also clearly give its word and be seen to also protect the lives and properties of all Nigerians including Christians equitably if not a Hutu/Tutsi scenario on a larger scale is what we're heading to. There are successful IBO's and Yoruba's in every dimension of human endeavor and I don't see them talking all this rubbish. I doubt if any serious minded person will have time for this rubbish many come here to display. Perhaps its the level of joblessness in the land causing it. Because I don't see how a busy person will have time for all these.

I am a biafran sympathizer and that's because Nigeria is not working and can never work under the present structure. But that doesn't mean I should hate yorubas. If the time for biafra comes, nobody can stop it.

I wonder how and why some people think poi should not "waste" his time at the tribunal, yet we want a better country and life.

If he believes he has the evidence to be declared winner he should go all the way to the supreme court. That is the right thing to do. And he should be encouraged by every person with a right sense of reasoning.

Yet you hear some people here saying that he should go back to his church, that obaseki is building roads etc. Is road our problem? Is osibanjo not a pastor?

Until we do things right and forget sentiments, we are just wasting our time hoping for a better country.

Perhaps, we will never do things right in Nigeria, so the hope of a better country is a long long thing.
