It's not priority, it's just common sense. Tankers going North will use about 6days go and come. Tankers in the West would go come in 24hrs or two days. Meaning that they'll make more trips or equal trips in a week. Nobody is favouring anybody, it's just the logical thing to do.

It's not logical in any form. Economic benefits tends to get more priority over everything else, apart from national security. What is the overall benefits to Nigeria? Left to me 90% of everything should stay in the south to kick start the economy. What Lagos alone lose in a day as a result of fuel crisis is more than what the collective core North will probably contribute in a year. Histories are littered with similar events.

Depending on geographical size, a state with low population density can still outnumber another state with a relatively high population density. Eg, Lagos is the most densely populated state in Nigeria but arguably not the most populous.

For goodness sake, while this is just a day's data and figures may fluctuate based on tanker queues etc. Yet, it is understandable that a tanker from the loading bay in Lagos will reach Lagos and other parts of the Southwest in 24hrs, while tankers loading from Lagos and going to the North will spend 3-4days on their journey to destination. Moreso,Buhari is not the one selling or sharing turns and tickets. Please let's grow up and reason above childish tribal and religious sentiments.

With all due respect save those diplomatic talk for the northerners who continue to bleed this country dry. Let's just buy your narrative for a minute, do you honestly think the Northerners should get the priority because of the distance? If there is fuel scarcity in UK or USA, do you think they will favour Newcastle over London or that sh¡t hole South Dakota over Newyork just because they are far from the port. Economically speaking, the south needs those tankers more than thr north.

Many of you southern people can't understand that it's like dividing say, the US large state of California into about 8 states, but dividing other smaller US states into 2. This can't happen.

Truth and fairness are that after creation of the present 36 states in Nigeria, north is supposed to be having 12 states, southwest 12 states, southeast 12 states.

Why cry now when you southerners can't even understand how Fulani-loyal soldiers used states creation to make you southern Nigerians the subjects of Fulani-controlled north?

Three senators come from each state. Therefore, no amendment can now be made in the constitution also supervised by Arewa soldiers, unless the amendment favours Arewa.

And worse, when ever easterners demand for political restructuring in a democracy, people like Raji Fashola of Lagos state would oppose. Fashola would instead call for creation of more local government councils in the country.

To other Northeners on this forum, I have absolutely nothing but the best wishes and great respects for you guys. I am consistent. My only issues is with the Nigerian politicians, most especially northern elites who continue to oppose progressive reforms and their fans who are brainwashed, deprived of quality education, teachings and proper nutrition required to develop critical thoughts and do better for themselves, but are instead a nuisance to the society. My believe has always been to play the game and not the man, so if you disagree with my points state the facts and stop throwing hissy fits.

and hopeless. With no task to do, he takes to selling water
and ridding okada. Again, he continues his romance with

Like a walking corpse, he moves around with fist of furry
and stained mind of hate. He is quick to start a fight
because he has nothing to lose. Because you are too
sophisticated to him, you treat him with disdain and quick
to pour verbal venom on him. In the blink of an eye, he
draws out his pocket knife and press it to your fine body.
While you writhe in pains, he flee into the streets because
that is where he belongs. You learn a lesson never to
