Some key sectors like DSS , Efcc and police should be independent in a country like Nigeria to avoid abuse of power. No matter how faulty the law is, you can't just ignore the legislation like they don't exist. This attitude will only lead to a downhill thread. |
whiteroses:Go and play outside, you bore me. |
BUTCHCASSIDY:fair enough ![]() |
BUTCHCASSIDY:The question is not the distance but the economic viability of these airports. Nigeria doesn't need that many airport. |
The truth of the matter is neither party has anything to offer. I am struggling to see how the country can get better when the elites are firmly in control of the political systems. I doubt you can get an independent politician who isn't controlled or influenced by the elites. Everyone is preselected, which means the citizens are often left with choosing the lesser evils. It's a never ending circle. I am struggling to see the appeal of politicians like buhari, Aregbesola, fayose etc.. The adoration of mostof these politicians gives a disturbing insight into the physch of the average Nigerians. |
For the citizen's sake I hope they don't get to build anything. What you will have is an over price low quality junk |
Nigerians needs to get their act together. |
Interior wise, this definitely looks the most beautiful of the malls I have seen on nl. |
whiteroses:Honestly, you need a slap. Your ignorance is annoying and scary. How can you say he didn't embessle the funds? Where is the evidence? |
fairheven:What comprehension? Nigga outta here man and let's not go down the semantic route, of which it can only lead downhill from there. You don't even have a point in the first place. Play the game and not the man. Kunt. |
Chukazu:Unfortunately, it wouldn't to an average you. That is one of many chains of problems. |
This is not surprising when you look at the fact. Lagos for instance should be an investment magnet if it wasn't for politics. I have never seen any major city that gives away more than 95% of its earnings to the federal government like Lagos. Until Nigeria practice fiscal federalism there will never be progress. The problem is as much the citizens as the leaders. |
Yeyegist:Politics goes beyond humility my friend. He has to be qualified.... Does he have leadership skill? What about emotional intelligence? Dignity? Etc. You get the point. Btw, some of the most loved politicians are arrogant, so your whole point is moot. #Semantic exercise # |
Foreign owned? I sincerely hope it isn't. |
Nigeria still has a long way to go. 4000MW isn't enough to power a fully industrialised lagos and ogun let alone Nigeria. Nigeria needs to adopt loop network and mesh in places like lagos and abuja. Proper transmission and distributions are needed. Anyways, Nuclear and coal appears the best options for now. |
What a country. Everyone deserves an equal opportunity as per equal talent and effort. |
That's a fair comments from him to be fair. Perhaps we can all give him a chance. I still maintain an engineer with project and asset management background is more suitable for this role. There is a reason one of Siemens best engineer was hired to head German's energy sector. |
I wouldn't be surprised. If true, then he has to be the most stupid minister to think he could get away with it. |
Report to the police and get a restraining order on him. If anything happens to you he will be going to jail. |
Why not take the aggression on fulani herdsmen |
Are there any ways to fund local security men in Agatu? because a lot of people are willing to-or should be. In addition, what is the law in Nigeria regarding 'acquisition of weapon for security purpose' We need people to start taking actions. |
Road accident together with Fulani herdsmen constitutes one of the major causes of death in Nigeria. This should be the main priority of the Governors smh. My advice to Nigerian drivers is to maintain three second rule so as to ensure a safe distance at any speed. |
Not for a long time. As long as people are blinded by religion, speak different language, remains uneducated or receive poor eeducation, then things will not get better. |
Nice one. We need more information please. Do you live in the area. Edit, after checking your profile I have a hard time believing your story. However, it will be nice to know if any group is up for it as many people will happily donate. |
sonOfLucifer:Next time, may I suggest you sit out of any political discussions and learn from well learned and travelled people. A nice day wishes from someone with your username (regardless of beliefs or lack of) is the last thing I need. No offence intended. |
Why does everything in Nigeria has to be 'storm'? This gives an impression of a trouble maker or an unwelcome guest . |
sonOfLucifer:You are the one with ludo brains.. The question is how come he hasn't been able to get the budget approved? No well travelled and intelligent person can defend this incompetence. How can you not know what is in your budget? Btw, I don't support any politician, so let's start from there. |
viviangist opening multiple IDs to promote her blog. |
Nice. I hope all this senators will feel the heat. |
What a country |
Kennydoc:I did consider the population... Nigeria shouldn't have more than 10 tbh. There are many efficient ways to go about this. |
