PoliticsRe: Establishing Grazing Reserves For A Profession Dominated By One Ethnic Group by Dollyak(f): 6:54am On Apr 15, 2016
Mynd44:
1. Land use act. (Read up on it)

2. Governments deploy huge funds to build garages for inter/intra-city transport buses why? Because they are important econonic agents.
Beef is an important part of our diet in Nigeria, animal farming is an important part of GDP, a wise government will do its best to make sure that this vital sector is comfortable

You mention "Trading reserves" but the government builds markets and rent out the stalls/shops to traders dont they? Think of a grazing reserve as a market with lock up shops and the herdsmen will pay rent to the government for the use of the space in the same way traders pay for shops in markets built by the government.

3. Tribalism always exposes the shallowness and lack of logical thinking of a lot of people, stay away from it
I sincerely don't know how you can associate those points to grazing reserves. Before you make a comment the smart thing is to look at the background context. Creating grazing reserves to benefits the fourth most deadly terrorist group shouldn't sit well with any intelligent-progressive mind.
Traders and most other organisations pay taxes but does cattle herdsmen? What's their contribution to the economy?
Being politically correct doesn't make you right man. This isn't about tribalism but about standing up for what is right, a' you can't reward ome of the most violent groups with a reserve.
In addition, in terms of abuse of law and violence, this law could have a far reaching consequences as it's subject to many interpretation. Nigeria is too ethnically complex to enact such a law for a group like fulani herdsmen.

If I may ask, has your name ever made fame on nairaland, or in any national dailies ( the nation newspaper reported the local champions success). You must have dreamt of receiving a standing ovation from a cheering crowd and some creme de LA cream of the society, but I am not sure you achieved that (ooni of ife, the m.d of chams and the governor, who is well represented are listed among the cheering crowd who gave a standing ovation to this lady). Don't forget that she has already gotten a job, as promised by the rector without carrying files all around, with copies of CV and application letter; I don't know your current status but I am sure you would thank God the more, if u had such opportunities.... #StopHatingStartPraying......
What's all this rubbish for? To celebrate the best polytechnic student? Made fame on nl you said lol cheesy. Get well soon.

Its not weed...this is above weed pls...dont call it weed.
Imperial college, Cambridge, Oxford etc. does not accept Polytechnic graduates. Go figure.
Similarly, a graduate with a 2:2 from Cambridge, Oxford, harvard, Mit is not comparable to a first class graduate from mid tier unis.

Some Polytechnics in China are better reckoned with compare to most public/private varsities in Nigeria.
Your IQ is definitely in single digit. Didn't you read the word 'relatively'? No polytechnic compares to a world class uni and within reason.

Mumu, u really made fool of your self with that absurd comment, its obvious u know nothing bout success nd that is y it pained u to se someone succeed, u better change your mntality
Of course a PhD student from Warwick uni won't know anything about success... Again i'll let it pass. Joke on you. Common sense will dictate she didn't meet the grade required to study in uni. She is merely a local champion.
Even a high first class student from red brick uni do appreciates Oxbridge grades are more challenging. Similar standards holds true for University-Polytechnic.

Why did she study in polytechnic in the first place? Really curious. This is not something to celebrate i'm sorry. Relatively speaking, the standards of polytechnics anywhere in the world are appalling. In the context of a world class uni must add.

PoliticsRe: Buhari With Zhang Dejiang, China's chairman Of The Standing Committee by Dollyak(f): 8:24am On Apr 14, 2016
yamfula:
I grow up to meet Buhari's popularity while he was a military head of states. He was earning much praises then although with some faults as a human being. Now that I have known my left and right, I am upto 60% disappointed in Buhari especially in the erea of very poor remarks and physical behaviour he is displaying that sound and seemed like someone who is not much interested in the every ethnic groups. He is an old man. I expect him to show love for every Nigerian irrespective of who is who, where you come from. Am still thing as to why the old men of this country are far from old men of other countries. Mainwhile I expect him to change and show proper love for every Nigerians for his records sake before his day will come. May God bless Nigerian.
The highlighted is the biggest weakness of the man and probably why he won't achieve much.

I know some of them will always wail no matter what. Wailing is in their DNA.
Apple and orange, but nothing buhari has ever or will ever do will come close to the achievements of David Cameron yet he still get criticism. Deal with it and demand for a better governance constructively.
PoliticsRe: Senators Fear Gender Equality Bill Will Turn Women To Prostitutes & Lesbians by Dollyak(f): 7:54am On Apr 14, 2016
Gender equality turning women to lesbian. Word fail me. Just when I thought the senators couldn't sink lower they have just achieved that. The average women in Nigeria are too stupid to fight for what is right so why bother?
PoliticsRe: Buhari With Zhang Dejiang, China's chairman Of The Standing Committee by Dollyak(f):
I think everyone should give buhari a chance. However, he has failed on security, safety and handling of the budget.
I think he probably has the best intentions economically speaking, but he is out of his depth as a leader.

^^The first fella above is ignorant about 'Lee Kuan Yew' and what he stood for. People needs to read before throwing names in an attempt to sound smart. Nigeria situation is more comparable to China than Singapore and he couldn't have done what he did in Nigeria.
In a diverse country as complex as Nigeria, Mao Zedong and Sun Yat-sen are the two leaders I would rather he follows their structures and I doubt buhari has the gut or intelligence to do what they did.
PoliticsRe: Help!!! If This Bill Passes Third Reading, Southern Nigeria Is Gone by Dollyak(f): 11:26pm On Apr 13, 2016
The supposedly more educated southerners are useless or perhaps too short sighted. Fulani can successfully rub sand on everyone's face and no one will bat an eye. It's not my business. Stupid people deserve their sufferings.

BusinessRe: Nigeria, China Bank Agree On Yuan by Dollyak(f): 7:40am On Apr 13, 2016
This is part of the monetary transaction war agaist dollar. China seems to be creating a new paradigm for the world economy and paving the way for a global de-dollarization.
This is good for Nigeria in the short term, the long term is where the problem of is.

Honestly, I am quite shocked at the response of all the governors. It appears the only governors bold enough to challenge buhari are in the SW. The SE governors are too timid and are not willing to rock the boat.

PoliticsRe: Shiite-Army Clash: Mass Burial For 347 Corpses – KDSG- PICS by Dollyak(f): 7:42pm On Apr 11, 2016
No, I don't support this act. This is genocide. It seems the sunni Fulanis are the only ones allowed to get away with things in Nigeria.
PoliticsRe: Killing Of 5 Fulani’s In Abia: Abuja DSS Lied Says Abia State Government by Dollyak(f):
I am very happy Abia state governor came out to set the record straight. The DSS should be sued and cautioned for potential incitement. However, I hate how the governors do nothing but appeal sheepishly to the federal government for help. No states in USA will take this sh!t angry.

PoliticsRe: Olu Falae Says FG Unable To Protect Him From Fulani Herdsmen Attack by Dollyak(f): 11:04pm On Apr 10, 2016
Nnaabros:
Typical of Nigerians to always leave everything in 'the hands of God'. Anytime a Nigerian faces a challenging situation, instead of struggling to find a solution, he simply ' LEAVES EVERYTHING IN THE HANDS OF GOD'

Do a good deed for a Nigerian man and the next thing you here him say is 'GOD WILL BLESS YOU'.

A Nigerian man finds himself in a challenging, life threatening, almost hopeless situation. Instead taking his fate in his hands, he'll simply tell you, 'NA GOD TO HELP US O'

I'm not against belief and trust in God. But we kind of take this too far, making it difficult for us to take practical steps to find a solution to our problems. This resignation to divine powers makes people too static and unprogressive. When white men encounter a problem, they don't leave it to God to come and solve it for them. They do research and build machines and developed technology and strategy to solve that problem. Not staying docile and static waiting for God to come down and solve your problems for you. What did he give you a brain for? For Gods sake, let's learn to use the brain God has given us, like the whites are doing, build technologies, machines, developed a plan of action and strategy. AND STOP LEAVING EVERYTHING IN THE HANDS OG GOD
Don't be fooled by the 'God' reference by Nigerians. Nigerians are no more spiritual than most countries, so it's merely a front to win sympathy by striking a chord with the religious Nigerians.
PoliticsRe: INEC Declares Ife Central Constituency Election Inconclusive by Dollyak(f): 8:27am On Apr 10, 2016
What a joke. Any election PDP are winning are being flagged as inconclusive by INEC. This sort of calls the credibility of INEC into perspectives.
