This is serious, i remember passing through the toll gate a week ago around 11:00 AM only to realise that it will be faster to take the by pass around that time, which i did while returning. Imagine spending 20 to 25 minutes at the toll gate during off peak period, i wonder what it will be like during peak periods. I thought they are suppose to open the gate whenever there is heavy traffic at the toll gate. Lagos state issue will be somehow complicated and no doubt the the governor is trying because i frequently visit Warri and just somedays ago i was in PH ahd i could tell you that they don't really have anyting to show as an oil producing state. We also have to understand that the provision of social amenities and other basic infrastructures does not lie in the hands of the state govt alone. |
sultaan: Very simply tou may have misfire, probably on multiple cylinders. Thanks sultaan but i will like to know what is "Ikenna Method" |
My Mazda millenia 2002 model automatic transmission has two problems and the two problems started when i did steam washing on the engine. The first problem is vibration, the vibration is so much noticable that you see the steering, dash board, and even the side mirror shaking seriously when on park or in traffic (hold up). The car is a V6 engine and can't say if its consuming fuel or not being my first car and considering the the situation in Lagos where you hardly move at top speed. I think the fuel consumption is okay. The second issue is that the car jerk forward whenever i try to accellerate. The higher i press the accellerator the more noticeable the jerking is. It get to be more obvious when i try to accellerate from a very low speed to higher speed (for example: trying to accellerate very fast after being release from traffic). Note: it doesn't jerk or may be its not noticable at a very low speed. I will appreciate response from auto gurus in the house and also from members that have had such previous experience. i will also appreciate it if anyone can direct me to a competent auto mechanic that can deal with the issue. |
This is really amazing Anambra state explore oil from Kogi state site refinery in Enugu. |
Its okay to take a loan if the project is viable, in this case taking a loan for airport to me does not make any logical sense, the busiest airport in the country is MMI in lagos and its not due to lack of infrastructure that makes it far less busier than other airport in other major cities around the world, its simply because of the level of the country economic potential. It will even be more economically wise and viable if the loan is taking to improve or develop seaports all around the country, so that Nigeria at various geopolical region can easily transport their goods to any part of the world at cheaper and more competive value. I would have love to remain silence on the abuja rail but i don't think abuja should be in an hurry for the rail system as the present population still give room to long term implementation of the rail system base on subsequent project. Please can someone tell me which one be galaxy infrastructure project. |
wow, i see reason why we never move forward, this is serious |
Mod can you move this thread to the front page, we need more response from different view. |
If your boss is carrying excess luggage its fine to assist, but if its just his/her hand bag or suit case as the case may be i see no reason to assist him/her. It might likely going to be terrible if your boss is a Nigeria, becuase in Nigeria what you cannot continue you don't start. |
thanks guys, i really appreciate the infos. |
Salam, brothers and sisters in Islam. please i will like to know if there are motherless home in Nigeria where the children are brought up with the teaching and practice of Islam. Most especially in the sothern part of Nigeria, info on their address or any contact details would be appreciated. thanks |
It was in secondary school back then when one of my friends went to meet the library prefect to discuss some issue and while trying to express himself the prefect said to him. "See how you dey speak English like somebody wey dey chop Chloroquine" |
I can't say until i know the age bracket of those involve in tribal war on nairaland. Any post on nairaland eventually resort to tribal and ethnic insults. If those involve in this tribal/ethnic media war are within the age of 34 and above, then there is a possibility of nairaland as a media to unite the country but if this age bracket are 25 years and below, then my friend the country is finished. |
The A on the pack represent vitamin A, and vitamin A is good for the eye, lack of vitamin A can cause blindness. I believe we all learn this in primary school. |

PStylish: There exists a bundle of lun.atics on NL.I just don't understand you Nigerians, what is wrong with what the poster did, there is nothing wrong in knowing what our president did to bag his PHD since his competency as president is questionable |
PhysicsQED: Barack Obama's Columbia thesis has never been released although excerpts of a fake/hoax thesis have been released which some have mistaken for the real thing. GEJ's dissertation is obviously being held in some dusty storage room in uniport somewhere because university officials never thought it would need to be digitized. Please stop posting all these lies, GEJ is not the author and i can bet it that his not even a co-author, the article was written when GEJ was in Govt house. From the article the real author contact is ask4basseyeakpan@yahoo.com. Am very sure the author or school was just looking for govt support. But for goodness sake what is the big deal in knowing what the Mr President did to bag is Phd, i did my project in school and am proud of it. Mr president should be proud of it if trully he has nothing to hide. |
Moderator can you move this to the front page, we need to know some of his students in school and some of his write up as an academia. |
Check out this write up cut out from wikipedia. While awaiting his next appearance before the court, Rawlings was sprung from custody on 4 June 1979 by a group of soldiers led by Kojo Boakye-Djan.[1] With the support of both the military and civilians, he led the uprising that ousted the Supreme Military Council from office and brought the Armed Forces Revolutionary Council (AFRC) to power. On the night of 4 June, lives were lost in both the forces fighting against the military government and those fighting on the side of the uprising. However, the uprising - with respect to those who gave their lives defending the country - was not bloody as critics claim it was because the majority of ranks decided not to fight each other on the orders of the top brass. As one of his first acts in power, Rawlings signed the orders for the execution of former military dictator who was later executed: Ignatius Kutu Acheamphong. Five other generals—-Joy Amedume, Yaw Boakye, Roger Felli, Kotei, and Utuka—-were also put to death. Rawlings has never denied responsibility for this, but the country was in a state of vengeful anarchy, and both civilians and lower ranks were calling for the "blood" of the SMC and other officers they felt had caused injustice to the state. The AFRC, under the chairmanship of Rawlings, carried out a much wider "house-cleaning exercise" aimed at purging the armed forces and society at large of corruption and graft as well as restoring a sense of moral responsibility and accountability in public life. Meanwhile, following a programme already set in motion before the June 4 uprising, the ruling military government organized free general elections. On 24 September 1979, the AFRC handed over power to a civilian government led by the People's National Party (PNP), under President Hilla Limann. |
Saw this on the internet while searching for information, i believe it might be of help to some of us. Tie rods are a major part of your steering-tire system. Should your tie rods break, you could be at a serious risk of losing control of your car, resulting in an accident. However, before your tie rods fail completely, you should notice some symptoms and warning signs that the tie rods have started to go bad. • Shaky Steering Wheel •Typically, the first sign that tie rod is bad or starting to fail is a shaky steering wheel. This happens because the steering wheel is beginning to lose control or "communication" with the wheels. As this starts to happen, the steering wheel will fight for control, resulting in shaking and vibrating. This can be increasingly noticeable when you try to turn the wheel. Vibrating Car •The second sign that a tie rod is bad and at risk of breaking is a vibrating car. At this stage, the steering wheel has lost nearly all control over the wheels, and as a result, the tires will start to move involuntarily and shake on their own. You will feel this symptom more as you speed up, slow down or as you turn corners. Wandering Car• The last sign--and most severe--of a bad tie rod is when your car starts wandering. At this point, the tie rods have completely failed or have been severely damaged. The steering will have also lost most, if not all, of its control over the wheels. Without control, the car will wander without any input from the steering wheel. This can result in a car accident and/or serious injuries. If you feel that your car "wanders," you should take it to a mechanic immediately. |
