Christianity EtcRe: Forgiveness And Satan? by dorox(m):
God will never forgive satan should he ask for forgiveness, not that he will ever ask for it anyway. Forgiveness was never an option for the angels of which satan was one, and Adam, because they were perfect. Humans in our fallen state have a sinful tendency, no matter how hard we try, we always give in to sin, that is why God made a provision for us that will restore us to perfection. Compare Romans 7:21-25
Imagine an employee that failed to come to work for some days because he has been by his child's bedside in the hospital after the child became seriously ill and was too distressed to even remember to inform his boss about his whereabout. If on getting to work he learns that he has been fired for absenteeism, surely you can agree that he can plead his case and in most cases any reasonable employer will understand his issues and take him back
Now consider a case where an employer fails to come to work for some days because he thought that he has won the lottery jackpot. On getting to work just to gloat, his boss informed him that he has been fired for absenteeism, if this employee instead of happily telling his boss about his good fortune and why he no longer needs the job, let his fly open, removes his dick and gives the boss' office a good spray and gave his team leader a broken nose for old time sake. Do you think the man can come back to beg for his job back after finding out that his lottery win was a hoax? Even if he did, would any reasonable employer take him back?
Surely the answer would be no, and this is because his action was very willful, it was done out of hate, and not out of a weakness beyond his control.
That is how it is with perfect beings, for them to sin requires crossing a threshold that is alien to them, it takes a willful effort for them to sin.
It is similar to what it means to sin against the holy spirit for which there is no forgiveness, that is to say that even in our imperfect state, it is possible for us to sin in such a way that we cannot blame it on our imperfection. And if Jesus were to make us perfect as he has promised to, we would still be guilty of the sin, hence no forgiveness.

Truelove4orphan, I would advise you to get a job or find something productive to do with your hands (I hear poultry farm is a good business) if you have the head for it instead of looking for ways to exploit desperate Nigerians in search of a way out of their deplorable condition.
If you a not a con man, can you tell me what assurances you have for anybody that gives you money in good faith who doesn't get his expected miracle? Would you refund the money that was given to you by that individual if the person tells you that nothing good happened to him at the end of the month after faithfully 'sowing a seed'?
The truth is that you wouldn't, and that is exactly what I would expect any normal conman to do.

BusinessRe: MTN Makes $6.7bn In Six Months With A 21.5% Rise In Nig, 7% Loss In South Africa by dorox(m): 8:25am On Aug 09, 2014
If mtn was a monopoly in Nigeria, then those of you complaining that mtn is unduely exploiting Nigerians would have a valid argument. But clearly that is not the case, we have our own home grown glo and numerous other telcos providing a viable alternative to mtn, yet majority of Nigerians chose mtn.
The fact that most of us chose to use mtn when ther are other viable alternatives, means that mtn has something of value that they rightly charge nigerians for.

I am not against people of any religion using their head to solve problems, but I am against using religion to solve problems.
The medical doctor you mentioned did not become doctors because of their religion and should they ever drop their faith, they would not seize to be doctors. Abi i wrong?
Christianity EtcRe: Add Salt To Water To Bathe And Drink Against Ebola Virus by dorox(m): 10:05am On Aug 08, 2014
Donpeak: hey! salt contains chlorine which has been confirmed 2 kill d virus...keep asking for proof o,
As some have already suggested you should burn your O'level certificate in chemistry if you have one. Your ignorance can only be pardoned if you did not do science in secondary school. I would hate to think you did it in university.
The chlorine atoms in salt are not free, they are fused in a type of bond known as ionic bond where the chlorine atom captures the lone electron in the outermost shell of the sodium atom to complete its shell. The resulting compound is more stable as a result of not having any surplus or deficit electron in their outermost shell.
In summary, chlorine is very reactive and quite hostile to DNA but chloride in salt is not.

Donfamous: he is a disgrace and a silly man like ur father. If u can't respect him for who he is @least for his age. He might even be older than ur biological father. If I say ur father is mad how will u feel. And later u'll be d one teaching ur kids to be respectful when u are just a slowpoke
Use your head my friend, age is just a number, it is not an indicator of special knowledge or virtue. A slowpoke will remain a slowpoke no matter the age, and a man who lies and manipulate others for a living will continue to do so as long as he lives.
You should learn to respect the content of ones mind instead of their age, and develope the courage to speak out against any foul utterance from anybody irrespective of their age, because in truth it doesn't matter if the falshood was told by a child or an old man it can cause serious damage to anyone that believes the lie.
Daddy G.O Adeboye told some bunkers which can result in the death of hundreds of people, so I don't care if he is as old as my father or not, i would shout it from tbe mountain top that he is a lying twerp and that what he said concerning ebola sould be ignored in the interest of public safety.

Early days yet, but I am quite certain that Nigerians will soon wise up to the tithe fraud. Just like the pyramid schemes that only benefits the top anyone entering into the pastorial business now and in the future will find it crowded amidst a declining and less generous customer base.

enochogaga: Ebola know where he go fit reach, nor be like people like us Christians we carry weytin pass am abi guys
Ebola virus has killed Christians in dozens before, so stop this your delusion that you are immuned against the disease as a christian. It will only give you a false sense of security that could make you less careful and put you in danger of having the disease should anyone around contract it.
After all it was people like you that said ebola will never get to nigeria in Jesus name, but look where we are now, even with your prayers of denial ebola is finally here.
Sometimes we may suffer from sickness, accident or misfortune, and we shall all die some day irrespective of our religion. Prayer does not cure illness, medicine does. Prayer does not prevent accident on roads, good roads and resposible driving does. Prayer does not lift one out of poverty, increased productivity does. Prayer does not prevent misfortunes, sometimes shiit just happens.

What this man is saying is that for you to escape your depressingly dire situation, you must first give him the little you have and his God will somehow magic into existence wealth for you. That is a wicked lie, so based on this statement alone I can say without a doubt that Daddy G.O Adeboye is an evil man and a liar.

antartica: If they can print their own money? Why can't they just print their money and buy what they need? Why do prices have to rise astronomically with increased money circulation in an economy? Why can't the producers stabilize the prices as before and produce more goods for the demanding consumers that have more money to spend?

Who gains from the stringent money control policies? The people or the iluminaties?
Goods and services is always in scarce supply relative to our wants, so there need to be a system by which it can be rationed in an efficient and orderly manner to minimise waste. That is where money comes in, it is a tool to ration out goods and services by price.
Air is plentiful,so it doesn't have to be rationed, hence nobody sells air.
Imagine a cement seller that suddenly decides to drop his price to fifty naira per 50kg bag of cement, what do you think will happen to his stock? There will be a huge crowd of people fighting to get their hands on as many bags as they can.
If you have more money than goods, then the price of goods will rise so as to ration the limited goods available in the market.
Christianity EtcRe: Have You Ever Had A Miracle? Share Your Experience. by dorox(m): 4:21pm On Jul 28, 2014
finofaya: Poster, but why do you dismiss miracles that involve saving of lives from terrible motor accident? I assure you, it is a mistake to do so. The principle of miracles is that the odds must be against you and you must be given preferential treatment to help you overcome the odds. So in accident or ill health, it is the same principle. It doesn't matter whether the odds are 1 in 10, or 1 in infinity.

In my own case, I was diagnosed with life threatening disease 3 years ago and on my way to the hospital for treatment session I was involved in a ghastly motor accident that claimed the life of everybody in the bus, except me. Then on getting to the hospital I was discovered to be free from my disease. Immediately I also got bank alert that I have been credited with 10 million naira.

God is Good.
Who credited your account with 10 million naira, and why?

I'm glad you didn't set out to attack her personally. Sure the love of money has caused many problems and its still causing them as we speak e.g 'respectable' men lying, twisting scriptures and endangering their eternal destiny because of money collection via tithes. Truly the love of money has caused many problems.

Apologies for overreacting.

Christianity EtcRe: ..the Best Place To Pay Tithe by dorox(m):
thorpido: I read that portion and it was the instruction God gave the children of Israel through Moses. We are not under the law of Moses so that instruction does not apply to Christians.
I do not follow the tithing doctrine preached by any church.I follow the examples of Abraham,Isaac and Jacob who understood principles of faith and how to apply it.
What you are against is that Christians should not follow the law of tithing as established in the old testament and I agree with you on that.

I know that Islam is without a doubt the most intolerant of all religions today, still I find it hard to believe this story on the basis that it could not have been more bizzare if the story was made up.
Having said that, one should never underestimate the ability of Islam to plumb new depth of absurdity.
Christianity EtcRe: Tithes And Offerings by dorox(m):
Image123: Tithing CAN BE a freewill form of giving.
Tithe is like tax, it is an obligation you are required to comply with irrespective of whether you like to or not. Failure to pay it instany makes you a thief for depriving the authorities that part of your income that is legally theirs. The option available to everyone in subjection to the tax/tithe collecting authority is quite clear and unambiguous; pay up or become a criminal.
Free will giving is entirely different in the sense that you are not obligated to pay by an authority, it is a charitable contribution borne out love for a project that concerns you. So your not contributing to the running of a local orphanage doesn't make you a criminal or a bad person, same with not making donations to a soup kitchen or your church. You do it because of the joy you get from being helpful to others, and not out of compulsion. That is what free willed giving is.
Stop trying to obfuscate the meaning of free will giving when we know that under the old covenant, to tithe was an obligation that wasn't subject to personal needs or feelings.

Godmystrength: Please just show me the ref for the 20% because i need to know. That is why i came here.

From the bolded part of your comment, it seems you didn't get my question. The point is not about paying tithe. I PAY MY TITHE DILIGENTLY (and i haven't said it anywhere in my post that i regret it). The question is can i borrow my tithe to pay back the next month? is it a sin or not?

I am the one asking the question here and you seems to have the answer yet you are not forthcoming with it.
I really would like to know why you pay tithe. Do you see it as a self sacrificing obligation that enriches your man of God with zero material benefit to you, or do you see it as a sound monetary investment that gives a better outcome than not paying?
